This place is amazing. The staff helped me plan the most romantic engagement. The food is grown local and tastes like nothing I've ever had. The live music was great and added to the romance. The manager arranged a tour and took us to a private room with champagne and candles. I am so thankful for everything, I will definitely be returning!

Delaney runs a tight ship, good offerings just off Ashland Highway by the Sudden Service. Neat alternative to the bigger more touristy farmers markets. Lovable puppers too!

This is my husband and my new favorite restaurant. I hate that we’re just now finding out about it... but we are so excited to visit more. The food is so fresh and delicious and well thought out! We visited for brunch and dinner and loved both of the meals. For dinner, I recommend making earlier reservations because since everything is fresh... they understandably ran out of a few main courses by the time we were there at 730. We love this place and will be back very soon.

As a wedding photographer, the Old School is one of my favorite venues in Nashville. It has a great open room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, as well as a groom's room complete with a pool table. The ceremony that I photographed here was in the barn at sunset, and it was perfect. The open patio let in the sunlight, and guests moved to the open yard for cocktail hour and the reception. For couples looking for a slightly rustic yet elegant wedding venue, I would highly recommend checking out the Old School!

This place is an amazing find just outside of Nashville! The place is an old elementary school that's been converted into an upscale restaurant and bar. The food was fantastic (I had the chicken and waffles) and the cocktails were incredible. The Old School changes their menu frequently, but they always source from local farmers in the area. It's just a really nice way to support the community while having a nice place to eat and relax. I'd give it 6 stars if I could; couldn't recommend the Old School enough. No question that I'll be back next time I'm in Nashville!

Terrific Farm to Table restaurant and music venue, set off the beaten path in a repurposed post-war school. Inventive artisan cocktail list, nice menu, great music the night we were there. Highly recommend.

Definitely a must visit spot. We did goat yoga with Shenanigoats then brunch at The Old School. The food was creatively showcased with local farm fresh ingredients. The skillet sweet rolls where to die for

We are still not able to figure out how we missed this place! **spoiler alert** this restaurant was converted from a school building and the main dining area is the former gymacafetorium. :) They also have other dining areas, including an area for closed events and a great outdoor space. They are farm to table with rotating menus and even offer farm produce packages you can purchase for home use. The former gymacafetorium stage is set up where they sometimes have live music. The space is laid out well and the food didn't Wow me, but it was decent! I had the Savory Crepe but I also tasted everyone else's plate in my party including the Duck & Waffles and Liver Pate. I chose 1 of about 7 different choices of Ciders with which to wash my meal down. Don't get here too late in the day or the fresh farm to table food may be gone and make sure you go back to enjoy the next featured menu. Sidely noted, our server Ashton was awesome! My biggest disappointments were the pate being a little salty for my taste and their lack of a dessert menu, really set me back. I couldn't get a good photo of my dish.
