Rarely give out five stars but after dining for a quick dinner at Old Stove Pub for the first time, it is well deserved! Worth every penny this meal! So clean, friendly and attentive service/staff, the food was SO good that I booked Thanksgiving dinner reservation for my family before we even left. My husband and I stopped in to try because it is down the block and were SO happy we did. Onion soup to start- big portions and such good prices. Chicken and burger were phenomenal. We will be back on Thanksgiving and many nights after. This is definitely going to be our go-to spot!

Pretty disappointing. So many places to get a good steak, it needs to be pretty perfect. Ribeye was cooked ok but perhaps not the best to start with. Creamed spinach was over creamed. Service was spotty (looks like 2 people serve the whole place). Pricey without delivering on the promise.

Worth a try and a new look! Old Stove Pub on 1st brings farm to table quality to NYC from the Hamptons. We had seafood, salads and pasta. All great and fresh.

I have been a big fan of the Old Stove Pub since days of the rad lacquer walls and continued to enjoy it Out East even under its new rendition. The day I heard it was in Manhattan I decided to order delivery from it - BIG Mistake. I received a "Greek Salad" with approximately three tomato pieces and swamped in olives (straight from a can) and lots of dressing) - it was inedible. The Potatoes and Spinach were similar and hidden in oils and gross. Luckily the steaks were not bad. If you were expected bread and butter or some pita with a home delivery of steak - forget it and when I called to find out if the salad was an abberation - I sincerely wish I had my dime back as the management could not have cared less and even said - "to be honest I have never had a Greek Salad and do not know what is in it". Stay out East

We have been going to the Sagaponack location for a long time. The NYC location is excellent. Great staff. Saganaki and tomahawk steak were outstanding. Nice wine list.

Very pleasant place for dinner. The menu is much more extensive than one might expect for a place named "pub." Very friendly and thoughtful service.

♿️ = generally accessible but narrow. The our door seating was lovely, the food was great, the drinks were fine, and the service was cute.
