Justin Brunson Out as Executive Chef at Highland Farmhouse Staple Old Major | Eater Denver
"A chic, farmhouse‑vibe restaurant on Tejon Street in Highland that opened a little over six years ago, it became known for a menu built around seafood, pork-forward dishes and a strong wine program under chef Justin Brunson. Brunson is stepping down as executive chef to focus on River Bear American Meats — a business he launched that supplies heritage sausages and deli meats to retailers across Colorado — but will remain a partner. Leadership is passing to 29-year-old, classically trained Sarah Khosravani, who rose from line cook in two-and-a-half years, has already crafted two menus for the restaurant and plans to add her own touch to the seasonal offerings beginning with a fall menu debut on Oct. 2. Justin Van Deest is being promoted to chef de cuisine after two years in the kitchen." - Paul Albani-Burgio

Nice clean place. Drinks are very reasonably priced and in 16oz Red cups. There are not a lot of bar seats, but a very nice add-on area. was a younger crowd but extremely well-mannered and not loud. Overall, I was very impressed.

Fabulous little place! We just had a highly successful, debut entertainment engagement with them!

Really laid back setting. This bar has a small food menu and occasionally hosts live music.

Yelp
Stopped by the Old Time Pub early evening on Sunday. This is my 3rd time stopping at this little gem in Highland IL. Our bar tender Sammy was amazing as always . She is charismatic, sweet and fun! She always enjoys introducing new drinks & shots! Today I tried a mini beer shot, it was delicious. The atmosphere is lively and fun with dim lighting. I live in St . Charles but when in Illinois I will make sure to stop at the Old Time Pub. It's a great community. Great prices & great pizza too!

Yelp
We were asked to leave the bar, because we weren't spending money at the bar by a chubby brown haired bartender, when we were in yhe gaming room spending our money there. I for one will not go back until they train their bar staff to treat all patrons correctly!
