A Saturday ritual downtown April–December, with farmers, makers, and buskers spread along the brick lanes. Frequently highlighted by Visit Wichita and praised by local food writers for its community vibe and regional goods.
Popped into Wichita for the weekend and choose the Hotel at Old Town because of the location and availability of food, drink and activities within easy walking.
The Farmers Market on Saturday morning was amazing. Enjoyed coffee and empanadas for breakfast, live music and even picked up some local honey.
Planning to come back and do this again. Perfect place for a weekend getaway

Great variety of booths, if you want more fresh produce the Ridge and 21st Farmers Market has more. This one usually has a fruit stand, a pasta stand, and various baked goods. There are a few other food vendors, the plant bus, the book bus, and handicraft booths.

My favorite Saturday morning activity. Love me some Farmer's Market, and especially love this one. Some of the vendors that are there now that I recommend include Argentina's Empanadas, Kónkeh Artisan Alfajor Pastries, Alegria Fair Trade, Pennant Coffee, and Polka Pierogi.

I decided to visit Old Town this morning to find a farmers market! How fun!
There were a ton of delicious food and drink options as well as your usual stuff (produce, jewelry, etc), but there were also some super unique businesses here as well! I stumbled upon a booth selling butterfly baskets!
I would 100% recommend spending a Saturday morning here!

Beautiful plants, vegetables, breads and more can be found at the outdoor Old Town Farmer's Market. A relaxing Saturday morning outing.
The new indoor farmers market opened today (11/5) in Distillery 244. I wish that lighting would be a bit better inside, but overall very nice. Happy to purchase some locally made and grown products. I have added some more pictures.

Enjoyed the market though different than what I am used to. Lots of actual drinks and meal booths versus fruits and veggies, had some really cool woodworking and homemade decor booths too. Liked hearing the outdoor music while wandering through all the booths.

It's a beautiful day to cruise through the market, looking for pasta and coffee, maybe a hot bite of breakfast or a donut, cinnamon roll, or maybe some clothes, jewelry or plants. Somebody will be set up to sing and there might be a sno cone.
Today the weiner wagon is here!
