I enjoy stopping by and sampling new foods and grabbing some fresh produce. Last time I visited there were some gorgeous artichokes, and some really yummy bites. Great place to just get out and walk and explore new food and produce

Google
Bustling with people. This is a small market. Not a lot of food choices if you want to go eat but nice selection of stalls for your vegetable and fruit needs. I go there for Vern's olive oil, fresh fruit, and get my kitchen knives sharpened.

Carol Lowe

Google
It was small but nice. We walked it in like less than 20 minutes 👍 A nice customer, walking by a vendor who was losing his carp due to the wind. Nice job, guy👍 I loved the fresh coconut water/meat👍👍

Kassy Rinehard

Google
I'm there every Saturday. It is my favorite Saturday morning activity... Go get some fresh produce, a pastry, and stop at the library before leaving. It's crucial to get there early in the summer months since it is outdoors, but overall this is my favorite market out of all 3 owned by the same org

Matt Eckhart

Google
Love this place. Always great fresh variety. Super friendly operators and always a good selection of produce and love going for a quick lunch and shop as always has good food vendors.

Google
Great place and weather to be outdoors and visit the "Old Town Newhall Farmers Market" Lots of fun for any age. Vendors are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in their products. Santa Clarita Public Library is right next to the Old Town Newhall Farmers Market. Please visit all the local Town Markets.

We came here last minute and We were not disappointed. It is a very laid-back atmosphere. We liked the potatoes, and the French toast was tasty. I recommend you check it out if you are ever in Santa Clarita.

Scarlet Montoya

Google
You will find organic produce, fresh juices, cheese, food trucks, flowers and so much more. I was a little pressed for time, so unfortunately didn't have a chance to try the food, but it did look amazing. I walked out with several flowers.A week later and they still look and smell amazing.

Yelp
Make sure to try the breakfast tacos from Fiesta Tacos every Saturday morning. The best breakfast tacos west of El Paso. Good value for the price as well. Parking for the farmers market is not too bad. The parking garage across the street is your best bet but it seems to fill up early. Otherwise it is mostly street packing. Handicapped can park at the library.

Yelp
Floral sales only. This big white van that sells the floral bouquets in the Lyon's/Railroad corner of the farmers market, every weekend, has to do better. If we didn't have repeat issues, we wouldn't post this. Given 3 chances for $15 bouquet purchases, all bad, we had to say something here. We can't possibly be the only ones that have had issues. The first two lasted only a couple of days. This last one from last Saturday, didn't even make it 24 hours! Farmers market flowers are supposed to be special, fresher and yes pricier for a reason. This couple knows better and they are selling these bouquets, knowing they are old. We take very good care with clipping stems, freshening water, so it is not that. It is their terrible flowers, and we are being ripped off. Photos here are from 24 hours after purchase. They need to do better.

Yelp
What a lovely Farmer's Market! Located in the parking lot of the Newhall Library, it doesn't look like much when driving by. But as soon as we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of vendors. My husband was quickly drawn to the savory smells coming from New Orlean Eats. The vendor was so welcoming and happy as he spoke of the authenticity of his dishes. After sampling the Red Beans and Rice, we purchased a large order to take home. We then stopped at Bun Boss for some Shumai and Soup Dumplings -- delicious! We couldn't resist the artisan cheeses at Achadinah and just when I thought we were done, we picked up some tamales. :) In addition to the amazing produce, there was quite a selection of specialty snacks, pastries and meats to choose from. But I was especially happy to find a beautiful variety of Ranunculus (my favorite!) at the flower vendor. The market is busy, well organized and clean. The vendors are all so kind and friendly. There's still so much we didn't get to try but being so close to home, we'll be regulars soon enough!

Yelp
We have been going here regularly since they started and boy has it grown. It still has the small town vibe and is not too overwhelming. All seasons bring the best of the different seasonal offerings. Besides produce vendors they have artisan bread, butter, cheese, fish, meats, keto friendly baked goods and don't get me started on Vern's Olive Oil!!! I buy it by the gallon. There are beautiful fresh flowers and food vendors with unique and tasty offerings. Park across the street in the free public parking structure. When your done, stroll down Main Street and see the other retail jewels of OTN or try one of the restaurants for breakfast or lunch. You can make a Saturday adventure out of it or just pop in to get your produce, etc. Either way I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Yelp
This is a busy farmer's market with a lot of small businesses to support. Excellent place to get breakfast. There are dumplings, tacos, crepes, french pastries, cookies, tamales, and a little gluten free bakery to get some snacks. They also have a place called Fiesta Taco Grill who sells the yummiest agua frescas. My favorite was the pineapple-orange-guava mmmmm. There are also several fresh fruit and veggie stands, a coffee place, a beef business and a fish guy. You might have to find parking somewhere far and walk but it's worth it.

Yelp
The food is ALWAYS fresh and the vendors are friendly. I love bringing my mom, who is 70 and a foodie who loves gardening. The breakfast burritos are my favorite! It's has grown a lot over the past year. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Yelp
We've been frequenting farmer's markets in the SCV for years...COC, Saugus (remember that one at the church?) and Old Town Newhall, when it first started. What we are witnessing now, with the renaissance of this market, under the leadership of Larry McClements and his team, is truly magical. We go every Saturday morning (and every Wednesday afternoon in Canyon Country) and never fail to find some amazing new find...dried cherries, French sticky buns, shrimp har gow. But the real reason we keep coming back is the smiling faces of the vendors. We always see the same people and we always stop to talk to each and every one of them...Nick at Buono's, Emily at Little's, Samuel at Delvigne's, Chef David, the guys at West Coast Seafood...they don't just push products, they actually spend the time getting to know you and recommend things based on previous visits. For example, we just started eating fish as a family...I was buying Alaska King Salmon as our go to...I had told them that we liked that it wasn't fishy. On our next Saturday, they recommended halibut, also not fishy...my family loved it. Larry has done an amazing job of bringing the right vendors and the best vendors...and I only wish I had more stars to give.

Yelp
I've been coming to this Market since it began, struggled with the size and lack of variety but coming maybe once a month - then it came under new management in 2019 and the changes have been remarkable. Great variety of vendors - Fruits, veggies, honey, jams, cheese, butter, dates, nuts, dried fruit, olive oil (EXCELLENT olive oil), olives, meats (chicken, beef, pork), eggs, sprouts, herbs, tamales, the BEST Salsas in SCV (dare I say Los Angeles), spices, bread, fresh pasta, hummus, yogurts, seafood, flowers, baked goods, cookies - on certain days you can get your knives sharpened. I'm sure I missed a few vendors, new ones are vetted for the quality of their products. SUPPORT our farmers! They take such pride and care in their products. Farmer's Markets have taught me to eat seasonally and try new things - the vendors are a wealth of information. ENJOY this gem in our community! This market just gets better and better.

Yelp
I enjoy this market when I am in the area. It's midsized with a decent selection of vendors and I can find street parking easily.

Yelp
This has to be the saddest farmer's market I've ever been to. I kept seeing posts on Facebook and Instagram of the huge variety of vendors and great abundance of foods, ingredients, etc. We stopped by last weekend to the small parking lot of maybe 12 vendors? And of those vendors most were produce which is understandable but everything is just ridiculously expensive. I've been to the Santa Monica farmers market and the one formerly held at CSUN, neither are anywhere near as expensive. Sure sure it's covid and there may not be as many vendors or what vendors are available need to make end's meat . . . but that doesn't mean price gouging and charging absurd amounts. Then again this is a Santa Clarita farmer's market so these people don't know any better.

Yelp
My husband and I spent a fun Saturday morning at this cute market. There is a wide variety of vendors, but the highlight for me was finding homegrown, wild, and in some cases nootropic and Ayurvedic mushrooms. They are $20 a pound and you get a lot. I can't wait to taste them, they look so fresh! Would love to see some cordyceps. Great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Yelp
Love going here and Rays jambalaya is worth the trip alone. I also get eggs and produce here as well

Yelp
This market has improved so much over the years. I went a couple of months ago, and I got such a variety of goodies, it made me so happy haha . Got some French croissants, some delicious dumplings and shumai, fresh focaccia bread, agua Fresca from fiesta taco grill . Delicious keto granola. vegan treats and other baked goods as well. Something for everyone.

Yelp
Rain or shine is what they post and they mean it! We had such a great time!! Great selection and really nice vendors! We can't wait to go again next week!!

Yelp
This is by far one of the best farmers markets around. Not too many vendors, just enough. My favorite spot is Miami Cafe. It's authentic, Cuban food. And they have CROQUETAS! OmGoddess...i no longer have to Drive to Porto's for my croquetas fix! They have papa rellenas, pastelitos, qban sandwiches, oh and empanadas! Go early cuz they sell out fast. Mama happy Also The croissant Bakery is amazing. Their corn bread is not your typical corn bread, But it is absolutely delicious. The chicken and waffle guys are also yum. It makes for a chill Saturday morning.

Yelp
This small farmers market is held on Saturdays in the morning hours to around 2 pm. It is located in the parking lot for the Newhall Library and you can find street parking, there are a few spots on the other side of the library building but most can be found on the street. There are some worth stopping at vendors but keep in mind this is not a big farmers market so you can get through the whole thing in less than an hour. We came away today with some cultured butter, hummus and breads. We could have bought more, I noticed three honey vendors and there was one selling seafood and another meats. Worth a stop on a Saturday morning, but again not big so don't expect a lot.

Yelp
The Old Town Newhall Farmer's Market is much more than your typical farmer's market. First off the layout is really organized and the market is well promoted. I always love seeing notices in Facebook about new vendors. The market carries way more than just produce and fruit, which is fantastic. They also have locals who sell breads, nuts, jams, vegan/gluten free "cheeses" and spreads, herbs, cookies and so much more. It is funny because I always go their with my produce list in my head, but always leave with more of the other products. Currently I am addicted to a new vendor who makes "cheese out of cashews, the herb spread is amazing!!!! Oh and of course the market carries flowers. OH and there's more - a fresh fish vendor, fish that is so fresh they catch it either the morning of the market, or the day before. Last time I bought sashimi grade Ahi, which was like cutting butter. (OH wait I need to go back and get more on Saturday!) It is so fun to see what is available and the enthusiasm of the vendors. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
If you don't do anything else on Saturday morning take drop by the Old Town Newhall Farmer's market and you'll be set for the day. Our favorite is picking up a breakfast burrito from Fiesta Taco Grill and enjoying it while listening to the live music playing.

Yelp
We recently moved to the Santa Clarita area and LOVE coming here on Saturdays! I moved from Missouri a few months ago so my allergies were acting up but after purchasing local honey from the Blue Ridge Honey vendor I was cleared up within days! This market always has a wide selection of fresh fruit, veggies, jams and all the vendors are so friendly! Since attending we have found plenty more local shops, yoga studios and restaurants around the area. Since COVID it's so important for everyone support local and this farmers market is a great way to do just that!!! Oh and we also love Larry's lives that he does every week to show off the vendors, thanks l!

Yelp
Started going to our local farmers market more often when they had new management. Nothing wrong with the former management but the new guy has kicked it up more than a notch. With great selections, lots of new vendors in the past year, best fresh seafood, pasture raised meats, farm-direct fruit and veggies, fresh flowers, plus other foods like hummus, olives, honey, yogurt, drinks, bread, cheese, butter, nuts, tamales and the churros can't be beat. The market is growing, you have to check it out.

Yelp
My experience at the Old Town Farmer's Market today was great! I met two Nicks and an Ariel. And, the produce and products were fresh. Everyone was conscious of health and safety standards; and, the customers were super friendly. One of the vendors sent me home with samples - so very generous. I'll be back to support! I have raviolis from Buono in my freezer, waiting to be made, as well as several other ingredients. This week is going to be a great one with all of the delights I brought home. Many thanks to the farmers, organizers and guests for their commitment to the community! (What was there: fresh seasonal produce, dried fruit, nuts, hummus, lebne, handmade cheese and pasta (separate booths), eggs, jam, olives, olive oil, and more!)

Yelp
This is a smaller Farmer market but has quite a nice variety of fresh produce, food trucks and beautiful flowers.

Yelp
I was totally skeptical. The previous farmers market in Newhall was a joke, I went prepared for the worst, and was blown away. A great variety of vendors and they were so nice. Some prepared foods so you could grab something to eat, and a small area with a petting zoo and pony rides for the kids. Surrounded by plenty of parking, this place is great. A little difficult to find. It is behind the train station, where the Community Center is (didn't even know that existed). Homeboy Industries Bakery was there and I bought a baguette, a large pretzel and some amazing cinnamon bread. Several stands selling veggies and fruits, some organic. A cold pressed juice place, a salsa and chip stand, a stand selling mole Dave's Gourmet Korean Foods - loved everything I sampled, daikon kimchi, regular kimchi, tempeh, and his amazing veggie broth http://www.yelp.com/biz/daves-gourmet-korean-food-los-angeles Bloom foods selling homemade moles, jicama ceviche etc https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bloom-Foods/111854722168003 I bought the best blueberries I have ever had in California and some fantastic strawberries Definitely check it out! It is rare we get these types of vendors out here. Saturdays from 8:30 - 1230

Yelp
Today was my first time going to the farmers market...and although there are only like 10 tents...what more do you need!! I just spent $24 on so many vegetables and fruit!! And it's all so fresh! I don't know what I've been doing with my Saturday mornings but this is my new spot! And the people are super friendly! Made my day! Can't wait to go next week!

N S.

Yelp
The market is smaller than the one at COC on Sundays, but there are different vendors. Azziz farms' fruits and nuts are amazing. Be sure to ask for a sample of the Calmyrna figs and Medjool dates. Mom's, which also sells at COC carries the best yogurts I've ever eaten. I love the wild berry, but please leave one of the guava yogurts for me!
google avatar

Yelp
Please try Dave's Gourmet Korean Food, especially if you're vegan/vegetarian. Absolutely outstanding food and customer service. For $6, I got 4 potstickers AND since I was one of the last customers of the day, he threw in a free soup, meaning that he poured me a cup of veggie broth and tossed random veggies/tofu in it. So good! Plus, I got a ton of samples. I'll definitely be back for Dave, although the other vendors are great too, and I know everything there is top notch quality. Hummus, empanadas, flowers, farm fresh eggs, fresh fruit, and more-- this small farmer's market, though only comprised of a few tents across from the library, is absolutely a gem.

Donna S.

Yelp
I've just started coming to this farmer's market, which although smaller than other venues, offers a great sampling of colorful fresh produce, cheeses/butters, breads, specialty foods and stunning flowers. The top two vendors (noted by the lines) are the flower vendor with a stunning array of fresh flowers and the churro booth (yum)! Sadly, I was disappointed by the croissant booth, rather stale and very little chocolate in the chocolate croissant. However the sourdough booth made up for it all with delicious olive breads, sourdough loafs and even English muffins!

Yelp
Saw a post by a SCV Foodies member about this and had to check it out since we were close by enjoying the Pacific Island Festival at William S Hart park. What an impressive gathering of fruits, veggies, prepared foods, orchids and the Homeboy food truck, etc. Bolani carries a fantastic spinach filled flatbread that is vegan with no trans fat and low in fat and I also bought a delicious one filled with roasted green lentils. I bought the sweet jalapeno and the lentil curry sauce/dip and I can't wait to try more. My fav from this company so far is the spinach bolani. Bloom Foods is a standout with their foods, philosophy...read their write up in LA Magazine or visit their Facebook page OR just taste their food and taste for yourself! Estofado Mole, oh why didn't I buy two?! Also feel that way about the Black Bean Hummus, it is perfect! The chips! Very much looking forward to trying everything this company makes. Homeboy Bakery I love you guys. I love your Double Cinnamon Raisin Pan Bread, your Multigrain and your LA Rouge Batard Cranberry Wine Bread. I haven't tried your food truck yet but heard promising things about those tacos! Orchid guy with your beautiful orchids and great prices, I thank you for helping me pick out the perfect plant for my Mom and dang it if I didn't save cash for your stall, boo. No cards accepted here with him. The most gorgeous Maui onions were here along with so many other things that impressed me and I cannot wait til next Saturday!

Yelp
Now located in front of the library in Old Town. It's extremely small with about 10 vendors so unless you're in the area, I'm not sure it's worth a special trip. :(

Yelp
** New location at Newhall Library** I am a big fan of the new Newhall Farmer's Market. I love the selection of fruits, veggies, and fresh flowers. There are great specialty items like yogurt, local honey, mole, guacamole, bread from Homeboy Industries, even fresh fish! Not cheap but great quality. I was happy to see that there was a good turnout at today's market, the first weekend in the new location at Lyons & Railroad. Hoping the greater visibility will make a difference and it stays all summer! No cash? No problem! Visit the Market's customer service booth and get tokens to use like cash.

Yelp
I have been coming here for about a year and it is becoming even bigger and better. This farmers market offers a terrific variety of goods and services. There are QUALITY, friendly vendors here at reasonable prices that makes coming here extremely pleasant. The ORGANIC produce, meats, food, beverages, baked goods, coffees are all top notch. A great value and lots of healthy fun for kids too. (Check out the farm animals!!)

Renee B.

Yelp
I love taking my granddaughter here. We love the fresh berries, it is her favorite, along with the honey-straw. One of my favorites is the smokehouse almonds made with all good ingredients. The flowers are a great price, with the exception of Mother's Day, and stay fresh a long time. We buy a lot of produce from here. We also love the fresh tamales. Hoping The Market will expand. We love helping out our own community and love buying fresh and organic products.

Debra G.

Yelp
Very Small farmers market. And very expensive. That said, the quality of the items I bought, flowers, cheese and yogurt(super expensive) and dried fruits was very good.
