23 Best Airbnbs in Florida 2024, From Panama City Beach Down to the Keys | Condé Nast Traveler

"For those going all the way down to Key West, you can't ask for a much better location than this quaint cottage, situated in the center of Old Town, a short walk from Duval Street, the Historic Seaport District, and Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. The home fits up to six across two bedrooms (one with a king bed, the other a queen), plus a queen-size pull-out couch in the living room. You'll want to take advantage of the backyard, with its pool, grill, loungers, and dining table." - Madison Flager,Paris Wilson

If I could give this place negative 5 star reviews I would. Let’s start with the lack of communication. We arrived at 2:00pm to drive by the place, as our checkin was at 3:30pm and we had not received any confirmation on how to access the property and no one was answering the provided phone number. Upon arrival we realized there was no office to checkin on the property. We were luckily able to locate a maid on site and she advised us to call a number for the main office (as this number was not advertised and differed from the one listed online). Initially we were assured we would receive all details around 2:30pm via email. We decided to park off site and explore the city until we were able to check in. We arrived back onsite at 3:30pm and the unit was not ready until well after 4pm- we arrived to an unlocked door with cleaning staff inside who did not speak any English. At this point, we were still unable to park our vehicle at the on-site parking resulting in us paying additional off site parking fees. When we attempted to contact the online number and the number provided by the maid, we were rudely greeted by a different lady and told parking was not guaranteed and our only option was to try and find a spot on the street. The street is extremely over crowded and there is little to no parking. We had to pay $45 for offsite parking that only allowed us to park until 2am. Inside the unit- the toilet barely flushes, there was no hot water, low shower pressure, and none of the outlets worked in the only bedroom of the 924 unit. Avoid at all costs. This ruined our vacation. Would not recommend anyone staying here.

You cannot possibly pick a worse place to stay in Key West! There is no reception and they expect you to call if you have any questions. Coming from outside the US, we did not have a US phone number. There is no Wi-Fi given here either so we had to look helter-skelter for that. Eventually, I got a hold of them. The room was not comfortable at all. I do not recommend. There are plenty of way better accommodations!

We have been trying bv to book this for a week. Owners wont answer phone and the reviews are terrible! I would say skip this place!! Save yourself some headaches. Used to be a great place when Kay Mcmillen owned the property!!!

This was the absolute worst booking I have ever made in my entire life. I had problems from the beginning upon checking in. The air conditioner did not work well at all, the toilet would barely flush and became unusable, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom, the property was left completely unlocked prior to checking in because the smart lock did not work, and then the main issue of there not being a smoke detector at all in the unit. I text the number given to my in the itinerary and let him know that I was leaving and not completing my stay. He didn’t respond until the afternoon the next day and would not give me a refund. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT book with this company.

Perfect for what I needed in a last minute stay. The price for the room is up front, rather than usual resort fee upon arrival. There is a charge for parking. Previous reviews state $20. I was offered parking for $30, so I passed on it. The room is perfect for what I need. The bed is firm but not uncomfortably so. The shower is large and can accommodate tall people. I love the small kitchen and half size fridge and freezer. And the location is perfect for me. Also I keep weird hours sometimes since I'm a night shifter, so the self check in process was also great for me. Also, I saw reviews that sound there was a lot of noise in this room. I sleep with a low level of music. I hear some noise, but nothing keeping me from sleeping. Maybe it's just because I'm used to noise when I sleep since I usually sleep during the day anyway. Didn't annoy me much. One thing that caught me off guard was this rule about towels. It states to not use any towel to remove make up. They will charge you for towels, bed sheets, and wash clothes.... which is their right but I wish I would have known about that policy up front so I could have bought a towel before my arrival. I have vividly dyed hair which tends to bleed occasionally on towele after a shower. I've never ruined a towel at home but if makeup is a problem, I'm over paranoid about my hair being a problem. Again, if I had realized the policy before, I think I could have been prepared and dealt with if. Luckily though they provided a hair dryer so I just had to take some extra time to be sure. I would and probably will stay here again. Just will be more prepared next time!

This was the best place I ever stayed at. It had a full kitchen refrigerator microwave dishwasher and of course stove one pull out sofa bed and one master bedroom with one bathroom but it was beautiful. It was within walking distance to Duval Street and very close to the trolley.

Stayed here on vacation. We got the cottage, which was adorable. The place was really nice and clean. Lots of room. The manager Bob, and housekeeper Jelena were super friendly and helpful. Nice location. Walking distance to most things. Parking is a nightmare in key West. So probably worth the $20 to pay for the parking spot they offer their guests. There is free parking on the street, but very difficult to get, and if you do find a free parking spot, Don't move your car.

Perfect location. Extremely clean and owners were very accommodating and informative. Suggested places to eat and visit, including maps. Highly recommend!! This was our first time to Key West. We rented a scooter one day and bikes another. We loved our time there!
