Old Towne & Sanna's - Review - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Old Towne & Sanna is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar in Fitler Square with a menu that has everything from gyros and vegetarian falafel platters to pizzas and cheesesteaks. When it comes to drinks, they have hibiscus iced teas and lemonades, but since sometimes only a stiff drink will do, there’s also a long bar. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Candis R. McLean

I got the falafel salad. Beautiful presentation and very flavorful. My husband and son got sandwiches. The portion wasn’t big enough for my teenager but the flavor was good. The steak fries were really good! Service was great; food came out quickly. It wasn’t packed though.

Really enjoyed lunch here. Extremely friendly service and nice modern decor. We loved the well seasoned meats and perfectly charred wrap and flatbread. Simple food done right. Great grill work and perfectly spiced. Good for a quick date night or a group dinner. The outdoor seating spots look really nice too!

We had dinner at Old Towne & Sanna’s Restaurant with friends tonight, and it was beyond what we expected—in all the right ways. The newly updated space is cozy, clean, and welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staffs were incredibly friendly. The food? Absolutely delicious—definitely an upgrade from the old restaurant. My teenage son, who’s been loyal to pepperoni and cheese pizza since toddlerhood, said this one is still his all-time favorite. We started with the Sanna’s Sampler and warm pita bread—so flavorful and fresh. For our entrée, we shared the Sanna’s Mixed Grill, which came perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Dessert was a sweet finish with baklava and warbat—both rich, flaky, and satisfying. Another bonus: it’s BYOB, and if you forget to bring something, you can just walk across the street to Heirloom Market and grab your drink of choice. The prices are very fair for the quality and generous portions. We highly recommend Old Towne & Sanna’s—a wonderful place for families, friends, and anyone who enjoys great food in a friendly setting. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I visited Old Towne and Sanna's for a quick lunch over the weekend. I had the chicken shawarma wrap and it was delicious. It was served with a medley of pickles vegetables which were super delicious too. I also had an iced hibiscus tea which was perfectly sweetened. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant's atmosphere was also very nice, they have outdoor and indoor seating and a nice garage door type wall that they had up when I was there and it let a nice breeze through the restaurant. I'd highly recommend stopping in for a Mediterranean / Middle Eastern style meal!

Just walking down the street and finding this restaurant… WOW!!!! This place has the best Middle-Eastern food I have ever had! The lentil soup was perfectly balanced with its salty and citric qualities. First time I eat a lentil soup that was truly and fully made with lentils and didn’t require extra squeezes of lemon. The hummus and the baba ghanoush were incredibly fresh and served with the right amount of olive oil and a little portion of spicy topping in the center for those who love to explore the hot version of these dishes. They were so well served that if you don’t like spicy food, you can just totally avoid this topping and enjoy your hummus and baba ghanoush plain. Pita bread! Definitely the best I have ever had! Fresh, warm, light, not crumbly! Worked perfectly as it was intended in this cuisine: as a means to enjoy hummus and baba ghanoush! Shawarma, rice, and salad: tender meat, deeply aromatic rice, sweet and tangy salad. Together they create a fourth flavor that I will fail to describe here. Just stop by and try it! Lamb shawarma is my personal favorite! Absolutely delicious! OVEN-BAKED KAFTA is a must-try!!! This is Chef Yazan Sallan’s signature dish! See photos attached of himself bringing it to the table and opening the most flavorful dish I have tasted in a very long time! The baklava was also fresh! Maybe you don’t even know that a baklava can be fresh because every time you order it, it comes cold or room temperature with a soft texture. Not here! They served warm, fresh, and crunchy! Service was spectacular! We met the owner (from Lebanon) and the chef (from Syria but naturalized Brazilian - photo attached). Great people that in their wonderful personalities unveil the reason for this incredible food: love for the cuisine and their guests! PRICE- very affordable! You can taste multiple dishes of the menu in generous portions for about $30-40 per person (including taxes and tips). I hope you try this place! Take a seat indoors or outdoors and enjoy this area with great Middle-Eastern food!

Google
A fantastic neighborhood gem for both lunch and dinner! The Middle Eastern food is fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and the friendly staff make you feel right at home. The outdoor seating is perfect on a nice day, and even if you’re inside, the large garage-style window brings in sunlight and fresh air for a breezy, outdoor vibe. Don’t miss the hibiscus tea—it’s absolutely incredible and so refreshing.

Google
This place is so great. We ordered the sampler platter with no grape leaves and the chef sent us out two grape leaves to try and they did not disappoint. All of the food was fantastic, the hummus was superb and the chicken wrap was the best part. Definitely will be back and the server was so sweet. Great prices too!

Google
A must visit spot in Philly!! Great place to go eat with family and friends or have a date night. Beautiful decor and ambiance as well as friendly staff make it a memorable dining experience. The food is extremely fresh and has authentic flavor. Hands down best falafel in Philly and will definitely come here often!

Yelp
Old Towne & Sanna's Restaurant just reopened, and it exceeded all our expectations in the best possible way. The newly updated space is cozy, clean, and so welcoming. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food? Absolutely delicious--definitely a big step up from the old restaurant. My teenage son, who's been loyal to pepperoni and cheese pizza since he was a toddler, declared this version still his all-time favorite (and he's picky!). We started with the Sanna's Sampler and warm pita bread--everything was so fresh and bursting with flavor. For our entrée, we shared the Sanna's Mixed Grill, which was perfectly cooked and full of rich, smoky goodness. And dessert did not disappoint: the baklava and warbat were flaky, sweet, and just the right kind of indulgent. Another great perk: it's BYOB, and if you forget to bring something, Heirloom Market is right across the street for a quick grab. The prices are more than fair for the quality and generous portions. Whether you're coming with family, catching up with friends, or just in the mood for excellent food in a relaxed setting--Old Towne & Sanna's is a gem. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
OMG I struggled with this review. First of all there are a bunch of clearly "friends and family" reviews on Google all five stars, from the last few weeks. Here on Yelp the most recent reviews are years old. So facts: Old Towne and Sannas shut down and the owner rebuilt the restaurant with apartments above it. It is indeed, fresh and clean and new. Its new incarnation has only been open a few months. It used to sell beer they are trying to serve hard liquor now (built a bar, stuck in the permit stage, so not yet). I tried the previous restaurant once I think and I hated it. So trying the "new version" was an experiment. I live right next door. Now parenthetically the owner chatted me up learned I'm Jewish and then explained his family are Druze: for those of you not following the news, the Druze are a minority in Israel and Syria that have traditionally been allied with the Jews. As I write this review there is a massacre going on in their historical capital Sueda, that Israel intervened in with air power. The newspapers have been very unclear as to what is happening but the owner says that the murderers are Isis forces, and a close family member of his was murdered days ago. That is the background. Their soft drinks were great. The pita is home-made. The food was, let's say, "the chef needs an intervention". The owner quickly replaced the dish I couldn't eat (a "shwarma salad" that wasn't even close to what I expected and was drowned in a sweet sauce). The replacement was okay. The chicken wings were again, drowning in sauce. The salad was pre-dressed and I didn't like the dressing. The chicken cubes were okay. I guess I have to try the place again in a few months? A word of warning: I would never give a place like this no matter how good, more than four stars. I was going to give it three stars. But I am a sucker for friendliness and I admit, I have a soft spot for the Druze, this is a relationship that goes back to Israel's founding. So try it yourself. Maybe the specialty items from the Middle East are safer. Make sure you are very clear about what you are ordering and perhaps, insist all dressings and sauces are on the side until they sort that.

Yelp
Stopped by the new/re-opened Old Towne and Sannas Sunday afternoon for lunch and was very much impressed by both the food and the decor. We got the Sannas combo (dip platter) and shawarma mix sandwich (chicken and lamb) to share and both were great. We live right up the street from this restaurant and this will definitely be one of our go-to neighborhood spots!

Nora H.

Yelp
Sam has reopened! The place looks incredible and is perfect for both dine in and takeout. The menu includes the old favorites as well as exciting new dishes. Everything is delicious and the staff is very welcoming. All around a must try. Happy to have you back in the neighborhood!

Yelp
First the bad news. THIS PLACE HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR SEVERAL YEARS. The owner decided to gut it and rebuild before COVID. After reconstruction started he also decided to build some (5?) apartments above it. I bumped into the owner about 2 years ago, and he said he was going to re-open the business in April. That obviously did not happen. Last year I saw the inside of the partially rebuilt pizzeria, and it looks nice, but I have not seen any activity since probably the early summer. Now for the good news. The cheesesteaks and hoagies were good. I found the pizzas to be too greasy for me. The Mediterranean food? I never really tried it, but the owner is from the Middle East, so I would assume it would be good. We hope you'll be back!

Yelp
My wife and I walked to Old Towne and Sannas from our home. We had dinner at tables outside on the wide new sidewalk on Grays Ferry Avenue. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated. It had opened a month earlier (in June 2025 ) after having been closed for several years for major construction. Our dinner was exquisitely flavored. The portions were generous and prices reasonable. The menu is extensive, but we came for the Middle Eastern fare. We had lamb kabab, which included salad, rice, and warm, fresh pita ($26.95); and a mujadara platter containing cracked wheat, lentils, onions with tabouli salad, hummus, and pita ( $21.95). The choice of Middle Eastern pastries for dessert was surprisingly wide. I picked a delicacy I have never had before, called warbat, containiing kashta (a kind of dairy cream) wrapped in filo garnished with pistachios ($5.99). It was tasty. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We plan to return to Sanna's to savor more of its Middle Eastern cuisine.

Yelp
"I am talking about drawing a line in the sand." - Walter Sobchak (The Big Lebowski) This place serves Mediterranean, Middle Easter food, and Pizza? I did not know this before placing my order for pick up but do yourself a huge favor and do not order pizza here. This place may indeed serve good swarma and the sort as they advertise but the pizza looks much better then it is. Something off with the flimsy dough and I was not a fan of the pizza sauce which there wasn't much of but when you tasted it you wish you hadn't. I have been having a hella bad time trying to get decent pizza lately but it is now my time to draw a line in the sand. I will not be ordering pizza again from any place that is not specifically known for great pizza. As always people SYOY!!!

Yelp
I have a tenderness for this place b/c when it's like midnight and you are hungry and have no where to go besides mcdonald's, this is a pretty good place for fast food and ethnic in taste and it opens late. In short it has: wings, shawarmas, gyros, calzones, and pizzas, and even cheesecake- little bit of everything but Chinese food Delivery: They deliver! You can actually do it online on some app and have them come deliver to you! Food: I like their calzone a lot and they do their wings pretty well too. Desserts are little pricey but hey, are you really gonna be wanting that cheesecake after putting down that whole calzone or box of wings, anyways? Calzone doesn't leave you feeling too full or bloated, i like mine with mushroom and broccoli and no peppers. Wings are a little greasy, but what else is new? Service: Pretty friendly people who are attentive and move fast behind the kitchen. Convenience: Very convenient and a safe place. It's located at the corner of Greys Fairy and South and so it's convenient and brightly lit at night if you're worreid about safety.

Yelp
I ordered the shawarma platter on a lazy Sunday and it was a large portion size that did not disappoint! For under $15.00 I got chicken + lamb, rice, tabouli, hummus, salad, and a choice between wheat/ white pita bread. This restaurant was walking distance and I was craving Mediterranean Food - to be quite honest it hit the spot! Parking: Street parking Specials: I believe there's quite a few coupons floating around and they have an extensive selection of lunch specials.

Yelp
If you're in the Graduate Hospital or Fitler Square area, this is a great spot to grab beer. They take credit card, and it's right down the street from Fine Wine and Spirits. Mediterranean food is good, and I would probably just stick to that. Tried a couple different types of kabob, really enjoyed the koftka. Chicken was in pretty large pieces, but was cooked fine. Lamb is alright.

Yelp
Have spent over $100 here in the past 2 days. Today's order I specified no crutons and dressing on the side. Ordered diet coke. Order came w crutons and dressing and regular coke. Called in to say it was wrong so maybe they would pay attention to others orders. Specifically said I didn't want a replacement because it wasn't a huge deal or worth the time. I was honestly nice about it but the woman on the phone was nasty and wholly unapologetic. Blamed it on me for ordering online instead of on the phone (seriously?). Have had other things come wrong in the past. Never again. F**k this place.

Yelp
Sam the owner is a great guy. Can't beat this place for fast and friendly service. Their catering menu is great for parties and you can't beat his prices. Great for tailgating.

Yelp
Delivery driver in the white chevy has almost hit me multiple times in my car and on my bike. He never checks his mirrors and is probably just staring at his phone

Yelp
Ordered some stuff for delivery. Lamb and chicken wraps -- not good. Meat is tough, dry, and bland. I was hungry and hate wasting food so I ate the sandwich, but I don't ever want to eat it again. 0 stars. Falafel, hummus, grape leaves -- all okay. Solid. 2-3 stars. Pretty inexpensive and the non-meat stuff I had was definitely edible. If you don't order meat here, it should be okay for food. (I didn't try the Vegetarian Sandwich but my friend said the falafel was better.)
google avatar

Mitch W.

Yelp
We ordered wings from them. They were so burnt, they tasted like chicken jerky. Extremely dissatisfied and dissatisfied. Will never order from here again. Ugh
google avatar

George G.

Yelp
I'm giving it two stars just because the delivery was quick. I ordered the chicken shwarama platter, and while it wasn't disgusting, it's a struggle to call it anything but bland. The hummus was okay, but the pita was more of a wheat tortilla than anything else. The tabouli was...just there. The chicken was the worst part, it tasted like someone took an individual breast, fried it in a pan, and threw some seasoning on it. Add to the fact that it was $14 for that (a price I would be more than willing to pay for decent food) and yeah, I'll be looking elsewhere.

Michael C.

Yelp
Ordering from the halal menu. Incredible size And great price. You can't beat it. Give this place a chance in regards to there food. A+

Bradley W.

Yelp
Got the pizza and wings deal. Prices are right. Wings are okay but they arrived in a pool of oil that actually leaked through the bag and all over the pizza box (see pics). Pizza is very basic and nothing special though the thin crust was nice.
google avatar

Joanna D.

Yelp
The owner was amazing! We stopped in because we needed to use the restroom and grabbed beer and a bite to eat. The pizza was delicious and we were met with great customer service. Very welcoming when we were least expecting it and I even got a little keepsake. Will be back!
google avatar

Danan R.

Yelp
Quick delivery but the pizza is 2 stars at best. The crust is not as fold-ably thin as Rex's and the red sauce is pretty bland and thin. The white pizza sauce is garlicky, which is a plus, but overall, it's just meh. The wings are much better and the actual meat dishes are very reasonably priced and decent. Stick to the wings and kebabs.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
I checked this place out for lunch earlier this week. The menu is massive and curiously runs the gamut from traditional pizza shop offerings to Mediterranean style dishes. I placed my order online, but when I tried to punch in the promotion code for a 10% discount, nothing happened. The ordering process was easy and even offered options for customization. I removed the onions from my chicken Caesar wrap and entered a note that I wanted the dressing served on the side. When I arrived less than ten minutes later, my order was ready, but the dressing was mixed in the wrap. (So if you plan to order a sauce on the side, I'd recommend calling over using the online ordering process.) The wrap was decent, but the chicken was more in the style of a chicken cheesesteak than regular grilled chicken. It was served with a bag of chips and a pickle. For less than $8, it wasn't a bad lunch option, but it's not about to become a regular in the rotation, either.
google avatar

Vinny P.

Yelp
You guys are right in the middle for me. I want to like your food more but I find it to be inconsistent. I've ordered from here a number of times and there have been times when the kebabs have been excellent. There are other times when the meat is overcooked, dry and somewhat flavorless. When you get a takeout order, it comes with the meat of your choice over yellow rice, hummus, tabbouleh and a large fresh pita. I love the sides you get and I enjoy them sometimes more than the actual meat of the meal. They have pretty excellent delivery and good prices which is also a reason for ordering. Yesterday was my first time actually in the place and I did spy some thin crust pizza. Not sure why they offer pizza, but maybe I'll give it a shot sometime.

Yelp
Gosh, I wish I would have read these reviews before I just got my shwarma on. Yeah, I dunno. Shredded lettuce? I thinks not! It was basically lamb. lettuce, and hummus in a pita. On the plus side, there was lots of meat and the pita was nice and soft. On the other side.....really? It was packing none of the deliciousness I was hoping for. I will probably go there again since it's like a minute away and seems to be the ONLY closeby food option. But yeah, expectations remain low. BOO! Edit: 1/5/08 Iiiii totally impressed the shwarma lady! I told her keep her fucking hummus off of my shwarma, hook it up with some tzatziki, red onion, and hot sauce instead. She just stared blankly and asked.....where do you get it like that? That's the right way to eat it in my country! I'm all, SF, bitch! Ok, I guess I didn't swear. It's too bad that they still serve it on pita and not appropriate bread, and that I inhaled half of it so fast that I almost didn't just live to write this review.
google avatar

Zina R.

Yelp
I only went b/c my friend lives a couple doors down and we were feeling lazy. The chicken fingers looked like human fingers covered in red grease. Absolutely disgusting.
google avatar

Speros V.

Yelp
THE BEST BAKLAVA IN PHILLY!!!!!! I have been ordering from Old Towne and Sannas for the past eleven years, on a regular basis. The pizza, stromboli and buffalo boneless wings are my favorites! Always hearty, always fresh and generous portions. They have been feeding me for over a decade, what else do I need to say?! I'd starve without them!
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
I would give this place zero stars if I could. Terrible service, and the person that takes orders is extremely rude. To add to it, I used the atm at the store. It notified me that an extra charge of $1.75 would be applied. I get the cash out and notice that $2.00 has been deducted and printed on my receipt. Upon asking the owner, he simply tells me that $2 is not a big amount to pay when other places charge up to $3. The point is not the amount being charged, my issue is with the fact that you're aware that your atm machine charges more than it states, and you're quite okay with concealing it from your customers. Never coming back here!
google avatar

Karen A.

Yelp
I almost feel bad this place doesn't have better reviews. I do understand that technically, there's way too much on the menu and it's maybe not top-quality food. That said, I love it!! Well, the pizza. And the wings. I've only had those two things. They deliver to me within 20 mins, online ordering is so easy, and I really think their pizza and wings are good! The sauce on both is what really makes it. And they don't skimp on anything. Always lots of specials that are really great if you're ordering for a group. If you live in the area and want some good, cheap food, I say give this little corner place a try!

Yelp
Its a pizza place. Its a Mediterranean restaurant. Really? Seems like a strange combo but through our apartment complex, we got a deal on delivery so we decided to give Old Towne and Sanna's a try... Food: 3.0 stars The Lamb Kabob skewer is delicious. The Chicken and Beef were good too. The rice is standard. The hummus isn't the best and the Tabouli isn't anything out of the ordinary. The pita bread is large and good. The cucumber yogurt was a major disappointment. Still, in a city that doesn't offer many options for Greek or Mediterranean fast food options, Sanna was a good meal. Reminds me Daphne's Greek Fast Food/Restaurant chain. Service: 3.5 stars Their online ordering service works great and tracks your order to delivery. The food took 30-45 minutes to arrive and payment online was easy. Location: N/A Never been to the restaurant Ambiance: N/A Price: 3.5 stars I recommend the Sanna Platter which runs about $12. We got two combo platters and each were only able to eat half. Honestly, one platter and a appetizer can easily feed two people for under $10 per person. **Overall: 3.0 stars Decent food at a reasonable price and with delivery options, we will definitely be having Sanna's again. It's nothing spectacular but offers Mediterranean food in a city with not as many Middle Eastern/Mediterranean options.

Yelp
Twice a week, Old Town fills my entranceway with their menus... I really hate that. Equally, I hate the fact that the three doctors in the building are too lazy to pick them up. I digress... Old Town has one of the biggest menus I've ever seen from like-minded places. The food's not amazing, but if you're trying to appease a crowd of people with varying tastes, Old Town isn't bad. They close much too early though, and I can't understand why, in a business that's defined by late-night weaknesses.
google avatar

Mohammad Ali K.

Yelp
Ok, do your self a favor and call up Old Towne and get their meat lovers pizza. It is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! They have awesome cheesesteaks too. Make sure to take advantage of their specials, 3 cheesesteaks for 15 bucks, plust 10% off online. Amazing food, amazing service, did I mention amazing food? Pizza Lovers is AMAZING!!! They have gyro meat on it, you won't find that anywhere else!!! SOOOOO GOOOOODDD!!!!

Yelp
Nastiest fucking food ever. Dumbest chick answering the phone ever. UPDATE: Sorry, I don't buy it Sam. The chicken noodle soup had fluorescent colored broth and gray noodles. GRAY NOODLES. Your people have given up. And the girl taking my order wanted to argue about whether or not I could have a separate container for a salad. Why is she so conscious about the price of an additional container? All niceties aside, the establishment is severely wanting...
google avatar

Jaimito R.

Yelp
Love the food here. Authentic, great customer service and fast delivery. You can't beat that.

B X.

Yelp
If they spent as much time and effort on cooking as they do on plastering the neighborhood with flyers, this place would be good. I had some gyro or chicken kabob meal, can't recall, but all i remember is the food not being good. This neighborhood is lacking restaurants and i was really rooting for the food here.

Yelp
The first time I had their Lebanese Pizza I woulda given them 3 stars (it's basically a shawarma-flavored cheesesteak pizza w/ banana peppers, tomatoes and garlic sauce), but apparently their quality control is close to that of a Romanian small-arms factory (bad), because the next time I had it, it wasn't nearly as good (a lot less garlic I think, which it obviously needed). Then, tonight, I tried their shawarma and falafel. The falafel was below average and the shawarma and tabouleh both way below average. The taboleh was almost all parsley (and bad parsley at that)-- hardly any wheat, and bland. The shawarma was way too salty-- and I'm not one to normally complain about too much salt-- yet still bland. You want a Lebanese fix, go to Saad's instead. It's a damn crime that this place delivers and Saad's doesn't.

Yelp
Ordered wings, scallops and cream cheese poppers along with baklava ($29+). Decided to do so online since there was a 10% discount. After ordering (and noticing that prices had increased from menu on hand), I checked out (including registering AND verifying email) to find that discount for online ordering was not given. Telephoned location and was told, at first, there was "nothing we can do" and "just being honest with you". So I was honest and stated that I wouldn't be ordering in the future. Free drinks were offered but declined as they weren't needed. I asked if they could include an extra order of baklava ($2.50) to offset $3 discount not given. Agreed. Delivery was very fast (17 minutes) and no problem with driver. Realized after unpacking order that extra baklava not included. The only good thing I can say about the food was the salad (included in scallop platter). Scallops and poppers obviously frozen as the breading peeled off in package. Breading was mealy and tasteless. Chicken wings funky and greasy. I don't know if there was a change in ownership, management or food purveyance, but quality of food has declined. To their credit, someone did call back and stated they realized that the extra baklava had not been included. Offered to bring it later but unsure when as they were busy. I declined. Offered credit of $3 on my next order. A kind offer but not one I can take advantage off as nothing about this situation would have me return.

Yelp
Do not ever order a gyro from this place. First when I got my food it was cold as ice and sloppy wrapped. The tzaziki sauce tasted like crisco oil and OMG the "chicken" was processed into these strips like turkey bacon and it tasted and smelled awful! It made me throw up. The gyro itself just funked up my entire room with the pungent smell of that "chicken". It looked almost like tofu. NEVER ORDER THEIR GYROS IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET SICK. The chicken kabobs are ok, its actually grilled chicken breast. I dont understand why they wouldn't use the grilled chicken breast in the gyros instead of processed mock chicken flats. I dont know what that was. Horrible. Im done with them.

Yelp
Sannas wings have three great qualities that all wings should aspire to: 1. They're not greasy 2. The sauce is phenomenal. When they say that their wings are nuclear hot, they're not messing with you. 3. The wings are good quality. Halal wings means that the birds aren't fed hormones to thicken their skin or make them huge for no reason. These are genuine breed chickens with normal sized wings. This makes a difference in taste. This chicken literally tastes like chicken should taste. My daughter loves it here because the slices of pizza at the store are the size of her torso. Ask for their sauce on the side. There's some garlicky goodness in the pizza sauce. The Mediterranean food is pretty genuine. I know because I avoid cooking it at home by ordering from these guys.

Yelp
The food is passable. This is the kind of food you shovel down when you're drunk and then can't figure out why you enjoyed it so much when you return sober. There's a place for that, true enough, so I'd say reserve this for your post-boozing carb and/or wing bonanza. I would have given 3 stars, but the last time I ordered, the delivery guy was beyond creepy and blatantly stared at my chest. I can get better food elsewhere without the creepy factor. Sorry, Old Towne.

Yelp
Never again. I ordered the Kafta Combination plate. Both grubhub and the menu states there are vegetables that come on the platter. There are no vegetables. I then called the restaurant (I got delivery) to ask what veggies came with the platter. She stated peas and carrots are put in the rice. Sorry- that's not cutting it. Don't advertise veggies and then put one or two piece of dehydrated peas and carrots in my rice and expect that's sufficient. The meat is incredibly dry and not tasty. The hummus and baba are bland. The tahini is rancid. Also they charge a $1.34 delivery fee- the guy called me to come meet him outside to pick up my food. That's not delivery. For $1.34 I expect your the driver to DELIVER my food to my door. Update: I called and explained my grievances to one of the staff (owner wasn't in). She was nice and offered to compensate. But I stand by my review- not worth the $.

Yelp
I come here for a few things. Chicken kabob Platter, the Hummus, and FALAFEL!! I loveeee the falafel. In addition, the Cheese Pizza (by the slice) is actually really good. I haven't tried any other items. The restaurant is family operated-on the food end; (husband, wife, mother). Really nice people. My review is reflective of the food ordered above.

Yelp
Very bad pizza, crust was hardly cooked, sauce tasted like it was made from rotten tomatoes. Boneless buffalo wings were mediocre at best but didn't even come close to making up for the terrible pizza. Don't do it, just don't.

Yelp
The food is awful. Not even when your drunk is it good. This is not pizza. This will never be pizza's real dad. The place is dirty. No one can push a broom around here, Lawd knows what the kitchen is like. The employees are weird. I came in here with a couple of super Jewish friends once and got the angriest looks. Anti-semitic? I don't know but uncomfortable none the less. Why would you go here? Just stop it.

Yelp
I was working by this place for a few days, and even if it didn't look that good i thought i'd give it a try. I went there for 3 days. First day i had a cheesesteak sandwich. It was average, the good thing was that they sell beer, for the sandwich and a big bottle of heineken i paid about 12 dollars, it was pretty cheap. The second day i tried their pizza (pepperoni). The slice was big, pizza was ok, average. They didn't have heineken anymore. The third day i thought i would try something else, something from their specialties since day are middle eastern so i ordered a shawarma with mixed lamb and chicken. It was horrible, worst i've ever had. You would think they would get this right but no. It was dry, lamb was chewy, so i asked for a side of garlic sauce, i was charged 50 cents for it. The restaurant looks unwelcoming, kind of old and dirty, seems like nobody there cares much about the quality of the food they serve. Only go there if you're starving to death and there is nothing else.

Yelp
Hands down the best meat lovers pizza ever. its soo good. we get it every time we have a friend from out of town come visit. Also the chicken fingers/strips are dynomite. I haven't tried the middle eastern food, but the pizza here is so good. I've been meaning to try the middle eastern food, but every time I go, I cant resist the pizza and wings. Also, i had their turkey and cheese sub once and that was pretty good too. This is probably the only place I will go for greasy food now. The owner is a great guy too, very warm and friendly. He asked us for suggestions, and took them to heart. We def saw the improvements the next few times we went in.

Yelp
Would not go back. Dolmas from a can and soggy. Flavorless falafel. Seasoning of chicken shwarma essentially rendered it inedible as the finishing taste was very close to cleaning product.

Yelp
Tried some of their sandwiches and hummus. Everything was good and the man behind the counter was very friendly. We were very pleased with the service. Didn't try the pizza but their middle eastern good was very good!

Yelp
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE This restaurant shows no professionalism to it's customers. My husband and I ordered via grubhub as we were within the grubhub service area. The restaurant waited about 20 minutes, and then called saying "the driver doesn't feel like going that far." To be fair, a manager named Brittany did attempt to resolve the issue. She called the owner and was told to have the driver make the decision. So I suppose the lazy delivery drivers are to blame. We canceled our order as they refused to deliver it and had to start the ordering process from scratch with another restaurant. I would avoid this place unless you want to waste your time.

Yelp
This food is food. It was not particularly good food, but I am no longer hungry. - Falafel salad (dry, flavor meh) - Lamb shawarma (flavor ok, meat not good) - Fries (not crispy, just the most regular, dry fries possible) Doused in your favorite sauce, this might even pass as "tasty" if you have been drinking heavily and are looking for a large portion of calories at a low cost.
