Old Trapper Smoked Products

Old Trapper has always been far above Jack Link's (who I'm sorry to say have honestly been downright abysmal for years now) and my favs are any of their kippered beef products. I always get the Peppered Kippered Beef Steak packs and they are quite filling and thrifty, besides tasting amazing. Their stuff don't taste like dog treats like most others, big natural beefy flavor, with perfect spices and seasonings. The beef n' cheeses are good too, especially the jalapeño ones. You guys and Tillamook are my favorite Oregon brands by far, this Colorado country boy approves. Keep it up ya'll 👍🙏🏻

I am quickly falling in love with this brand of beef jerky and that says a lot, because I am born and raised in Wisconsin. So I grew up on Jack Links beef jerky and this brand has by far surpassed Jack Links.

I’ve been in contact with the customer relations due to moldy package of their beef jerky. Numerous emails and no solution. Unfortunately they do not stand behind the quality their products.Spend your money elsewhere.

Delicious, delectable jerky. This is turning into my go-to brand for beef jerky. Their jerky has less sugar than most big box brands too, which is definitely a selling point.

I was so sick and tired of eating other dry sandy jerky brands. I was so over it I almost gave up on jerky all together. The first time I tried Old Trapper beef jerky it was like a breath of fresh air. It was so amazingly juicy, tender and packed with flavor that you can't eat just one piece...or one bag. It is amazing and I'll never go back to the old stuff! If you haven't tried it it'll change your life!

I love the jerky but could you guys please open a outlet store at the factory or sell the walk up customers.

Definitely some of the best quality and taste in jerky. I keep it handy for long road trips and snacking while working on the computer.

I had been searching for the perfect jerky for what seemed like forever. I get the peppered beef jerky and it is the closest to homemade jerky I have found and it's not even close. Have not had a bad bag yet and my picky daughter even likes it but prefers the regular flavor.

This jerky is awful! Expiration date 4/25 but this smells and tastes awful. Calls to the company have gone without callbacks. A younger nephew had to go to urgent care after eating this. I will call health department of Oregon next. Don't buy this crap. If you feel a strong need to buy it, save yourself money and pick up roadkill instead.

Not a new player in the jerky world as their website indicates they have been around for more than 50 years so I guess their distribution network is expanding because I feel like I have only recently seen them in Arizona and southern California. With that said I was not initially impressed by the product simply by looking at it: to me it looked over salty and over processed. I finally caved and got a bag and was actually impressed with the flavor and quality. Good price, too and a lot of different flavors.

Great taste, flavor, and texture. Also generally mid-range price-wise. Excellent. My favorite by far is the peppered. Their regular is very good. Not a fan of some of the other flavors; but that's just my personal taste. Really great beef jerky. Other than saying the Teppanyaki is not my all-time fave; uhm yeah. Old Trapper ROCKS. As an aside; all the kids and step-kids and their friends (all in their 20's) adore Old Trapper beef jerky.

Picked some of these snacks up and the meat was very moist, which was great. I had dried out jerky. The only issue I had was that it was pretty pricey. There was a sale where I was able to get two 2-oz jumbo snacks for $5! That is kind of a steal I have to admit. Thank you for college football season and advertising!

This really is the best Beef Jerky I've ever had. Consistently. Their flavors are distinct. The Peppered is spot on. The Hot-n-Spicy is not too, but definitely has a kick. My favorite is the Old Fashioned. It's just the best beef jerky there is. Teriyaki is a winner too! I've periodically sampled other brands, but keep coming back to Old Trapper because it's just that good. And the clear bag shows you exactly what you're getting. Quality. Value. Goodness. Enjoy!

The best beef jerky! Moist, thick pieces in a variety of flavors. Bags are a great size and you can see all the meat due to their clear bags. Delicious snack for any occasion, adventure, or just munching on at home. Don't settle for the rest, buy the best! Tip: Great in Bloody Mary's and also dipped in cream cheese. Boom.

When I get a knack for a meat snack I'm a sucker for what looks best in that moment of snap decision. I don't really follow brands because nothing has stood out until recently. Now I've found something that has me all giddy: real steak in a bag! The guys at Old Trapper have what looks like to be a new steak line (called "Trapper's Choice") and it's not like anything else I've ever tried. The pieces are obviously cut from a whole steak slab with no filler or fakery. I swear that eating this stuff more closely resembles the experience of a quality steak in a restaurant than any jerky. How can it be soft and savory without being riddled with some chemical treatment? I've got to think some of the big national brands are going to be copying this stuff soon. The Teriyaki was my first favorite but now I'm stuck on the Original since I can really taste the smoke flavor, but either one is going to blow your mind if you already enjoy meat snacks. I just wish it wasn't holed up in Bi-Mart and Plaid Pantry because I've been disappointed more than once looking and finding it sold out. Try the Trapper's Choice and you'll be hooked too.

Yes I love me some beef jerky. Recently discovered Old Trapper which makes a solid black peppr flavor. Good tasty, not too tough, and great bite of black pepper without overpowering. Family owned since the lates 60s, they seem to be expanding their ops in the Forest Grove area. Good to see artisan products grow organically in popularity.

I found this tasty treat at my local gas station. $11 for 10oz! I had to try it. The texture is perfect. Not too dry, not too chewy, just perfect. I got the original flavor, I can't wait to try the others. Will not be getting any other brand from now on, if I can help it. I am a bit confused by the fact that it says zero fat.. Oh well. I highly recommend it over all of those commercial brands.
