Google
I had a great time at the Olde Blind Dog with my husband. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. The drinks were good and they came out fast. Definitely swing by if you're looking for a good place to eat/drink

Google
Very authentic interior, attention to decor, design and menu! We enjoyed several items. The buffalo chicken egg rolls were incredible/ we devoured them before thinking of getting a photo! Shepherds pie warms the soul, hot and delicious. Just like my mum made back in the homeland of the UK! Bangers and mash were legit with the thick brown gravy. Next time I want to try the creme brulee…

Came here to watch one of our favorite entertainers. It was our first time here. The food and beer selections were great. Can't wait to come back again. The manager (Danny), as well as other staff, were friendly and accommodating.

This was our first visit, and it won't be our last. From the time we entered the courtyard area, we could feel a strong "let's eat and have a good time" vibe. The hostess estimated a 30-minute wait, but she had a table ready within 15 minutes. Arien, our waitress, was the best. She kept us updated about the status of our order. She kept our drinks filled. A party of 75 and another party of 20 were ahead of us, so it took a while for our food to arrive. Not too long, though. Arien treated us to delicious homemade chips and dip to keep us happy in the meantime. Hubby ordered the Kilkenny burger. It was reuben and hamburger. He loved it! I did the "build your own burger" with cheddar cheese. We both ordered the homemade tator tots. Airen suggested dipping them in their homemade BBQ sauce. Excellent recommendation! Thanks for making our first visit a good one, Arien!

Love this place. I have never had a bad experience here. So much so i brought a party of out-of-towners and it was a huge success! If you’re looking for a good time, a unique time, great food and drinks- you found it! Slante!

Google
If you've been to Ireland, this place will look familiar to you. It reminded my wife and I of more than one place over there. Great decor and setup. The food isn't straight off of an Irish menu...but some of it could be! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a great time, and plan to go back soon.

Yelp

Yelp
Our second visit, and as usual we sat at the bar, and we continue to be super impressed with the bartenders and their hard work, attentiveness and how friendly they always are...Had the beer cheese and pretzels which were very good, great consistency and taste for the cheese in particular. We also had the fish and chips, which were ok but not really that great. Nice breading, but the inside was far from the "flaky white" you look for; ours was flat-out grey. Even a bit watery. I don't know for sure, but certainly didn't taste or eat like cod, and seemed possibly frozen. We'll give the fish another shot next visit so stay tuned. Still really like the atmosphere and service and will continue to make this a routine stop.

Yelp
Food and service are always good. We also like the snugs. Our favorite foods are the kildare and steak sandwich.

Yelp
My dad visited Olde Blinde Dog once and wanted to take us there, so we went recently for lunch. We had our dog with us, so we sat on the patio. They have a a few tables for outdoor seating. But the really impressive part about Olde Blind Dog is the way they have decorated the inside of the restaurant. You can tell that a lot of care and attention to detail went into this place, and it is such a cool spot. You really feel like you're in an authentic Irish pub. My husband had a burger and said it was OK, but he would try something else next time. I have a chicken salad on Sourdough and it was good. The fries were delicious. Our waiter was really nice, especially to our pup! Every time he came out, he made sure to say hello. I would definitely come back here if I was in the Milton area. I highly recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Located in the Crabapple Market, this location is my favorite location in the Metro-Atlanta area though I do not make it here often since it is quite a trek to get to lol. Went in for weekend brunch and I just love the layout and décor of this place! It makes me feel like I'm dining at a bar during the Medieval times. We ordered the Chicken and Waffles and the All Day Irish Breakfast to eat and of course the Bottomless Mimosas to drink. The mimosas were on point and the service was great, but minus one star because I wasn't a fan of the chicken in my Chicken and Waffles because the pieces of meat were very bland. It was a good experience overall though, so I would continue going back if I'm ever out that way in the future.

Yelp
Very cozy. Excellent service. The food i had was good, but i have only been there once, so I don't know a lot. I am looking forward to trying other things on the menu. Our server was attentive. I went there to talk to a friend and it was quiet enough that we could have a good conversation. I liked the cozy Irish Pub atmosphere.

Yelp
I love this place! When you walk in it looks like a legit Irish Pub. Beautiful dark wood all over. Cute private booths and nice big tables for groups. The beer selection is great. And the menu is awesome especially the fish and chips. Perfectly cooked cod in a nice crispy batter. The food came out fast and hot especially for having a large group. And our waitress was funny and spot on with getting us what we needed fast.

Steve M.

Yelp
So glad we found this place. The service was timely and observant. The vegetables were clearly fresh. The music wasn't overbearing. This will be a repeat stop for us.

Yelp
Brayden is consistently the best server we have ever had. She always provides the best service and is so attentive, with great attention to details! Katelyn is awesome too!

Yelp
First time at OBD Irish Pub, and it was an great experience. Pub decor was transportive. Great selection of draft beers. Amazing "Old Fashioned" cocktail. Got to enter a raffle for a Target grill. Delicious Food (Tater tots - the star of the show. Fish & Chips - some of the best around. Reuben - overstuffed. Clam chowder - deep, soothing flavors. Bread pudding - scrumptious and unique, next time I want extra sauce on it! Big applause to the kitchen and bar staff. And last, but not least, every staff member was professional, pleasant and very helpful. Thanks for the hospitality and chatting with us. Can't wait to drop in again to the Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub. :-)

Yelp
This is one of the coolest pubs I've ever been to. The decor and Irish details were awesome and made you feel like you walked off the streets of cork. We went for lunch on a Friday and it was perfect. The menu has a great selection that offers something for everybody. We both had half sad which with cup of soup, both chicken salad and 1 clam chowder and 1 French onion. Everything was 10/10! Amazing flavors in both soups and the chicken salad is a must try!

Yelp
Really cool & authentic Irish pub with great food and they can actually poor a decent Guinness! Bartender Shawn was friendly and delivered good service. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
This is a business that gets customer service. Being in the COVID-19 world, We order takeaway often. We are particular about who we interact with and go out of our way to visit. This business makes us very comfortable eating in or picking up takeaway. Add to the way they manage their business, the food and selections are perfect and what you would expect from an Irish pub. (I am getting hungry typing this!!) Bangers and mash continue to be my favorite (even better when paired with Guinness). Very good portions and prices are moderate. Love this place!!
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
Our favorite place! Not only is the food amazing but the service is too. We love their stout onion soup, the Guinness bbq wings and their steak sandwich. Sean and Evan are our favorite servers! We come in knowing we will have great food but always leave even happier getting to see our favorite servers.

Yelp
Great food, really great ambience. Definitely feels like you've left the standard US pub and gone somewhere else. Also lots of nooks and crannies of seating to explore. Not to mention often rugby is on the TV

Philip M.

Yelp
This was our second time in, and this time we brought out of town family, and we had a wonderful meal, including the kids who tried new hthings they had never had and ate every bit of it. The decor is amazing and creates a really nice atmosphere for eating and beverages. The only thing better than the food was the service, which was outstanding. If you want a great meal in a great place with great service you can find it all here.

Peggy S.

Yelp
Four of us had lunch at the old Olde Blind Dog yesterday, and it was hands-down one of the best eating experiences we've ever had. The pub itself is very cool ... we've never been to Ireland, but we sure felt like this was the real thing! Our food was very good. The Reuben, the Monte Cristo, Beyond the Burger, chili and the house made tater tots all met with rave reviews! But what made our experience over the top was our waiter Johnny McCrae from Scotland. We definitely could have listened to him talk all day with his fabulous accent. He was very helpful and directed us to great choices in both food and beverage. Such a fun, entertaining guy and we look forward to returning and asking for him!

Yelp
Legit! Period! The Olde Blind dog has it all. Great atmosphere, superb food and wonderful service. This place was recommended to me by an Irish friend who had researched it. It has become a stable place for us. The food isn't light, but pub food isn't supposed to be light. Sandwiches and entrees are equally great. The fish and chips is a heavier batter but really good. The only drawback to your visit are the tight parking space in the lot. That part isn't their fault. Park farther out as next to the restaurant can be a bit of a goat rope when you are arriving/departing.

Yelp
We visited this pub for the first time tonight. The building is beautiful and transports you to traditional Irish pubs! However, very disappointed in the food.. My spouse had a burger and enjoyed it. However, my meal was inedible. I ordered the Monte Cristo. The sandwich was a deep fried ball; overly drenched with oil... squeezed it and oil drizzled out. In edition, it was almost all breading. There was almost no ham, turkey or cheese in it. There were three pieces and almost all breading. After visiting right after we received the meals, the waiter did not return... he was very busy. He finally came back as we were ready to leave to ask how everything was for us. He saw my plate that had all the breading and I asked him to let the kitchen know there was almost no protein in the sandwich. He said he would and brought us our check. So very disappointing; not even an attempt at service recovery even though it was obvious there was almost none of the sandwich eaten.

Yelp
Oh my gosh! Probably thee most authentic Irish Pub in the Atlanta area. The motif. The decor. The whole restaurant looks like you just walk into a pub directly in Ireland!! The cozy all dark wooden booths are so cool! And the food is just as authentic! Everything was absolutely delicious! From the Celtic Clam Chowder to the stout beer!! A very busy place to say the least. Lol. But so worth it. The corn beef was amazing and the meatloaf sandwich with the caramelized onions was delicious. If you're ever in the Crabapple area in North Atlanta you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. My only little critique is the cocktails seemed a little small but were definitely smooth and tasty. Will definitely be back. I got my eye on those Scotch Eggs!! lol

Yelp
Authentic pub atmosphere in downtown Milton. It's a large place and they do have dining options in the pub/bar area and restaurant only area. I usually don't order fish and chips but I tried theirs for the first time. Fortunately, it was not greasy at all and as a matter of fact the batter was awesome and the fish was very flaky inside. The chips, however, were not very good as they tasted like they were sitting around a while. My wife had the blackened chicken pasta and she loved it! Have lots of draft beer options. All of the usual Irish suspects along with a handful of local crafts. So why only 2 stars? The problem with this visit can be seen in the attached photo. In the men's bathroom, one soap bottle with no top on it is not acceptable. Also one of the two sinks in the men's bathroom didn't work at all. Poor hygiene practices are totally unacceptable in restaurants. Invest in automatic soap dispensers and then keep them filled. Bathrooms should be checked and/or cleaned hourly, and every half hour during peak times. Properly train your staff and then better manage their efforts. Hygiene practices in restaurants should be nothing short of excellent.

Yelp
First time at the Olde Blind Dog today & it certainly won't be my last! I saw the photos online and knew immediately I had to bring my British hubs here. The authenticity is ON POINT. I was hopeful the food would be too. The service was exceptional, Johnny took excellent care of us. He was friendly and welcoming, told us all about the place and chatted with my husband about the joy of English/Irish sausages. (You just can't get 'em here, it's a thing). I had corned beef hash & hubs had a full Irish. The corned beef was juicy and tender, eggs cooked to perfection. The Irish breakfast included proper rashers, beans, pudding and even "fried bread" that if course we needed seconds of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a taste of home, a new regular spot, or to be taken away to a proper British / Irish / Scottish pub. You'll forget you're in Milton. See you again soon!

B.L B.

Yelp
We haven't been here in a while, pleasantly surprised with great food and a gracious server. Will definitely visit again!

Yelp
An Irish pub in Milton. Typical bar fare with nice bar and seating. Not sure if they imported some of this in but it looked nice. Waitstaff very friendly and attentive. I stuck with a standard reuben which was good and messy. Tots were very good, homemade? Worth stopping in.
google avatar

Lynda H.

Yelp
Food was really good as usual, love the onion soup. Tried the pasta and blackened chicken for the first time and I would order it again. The menu prices are up as all restaurants are so attached is a part of the menu. I got distracted at dinner and didn't finish

Vincent W.

Yelp
Superb Irish pub in Roswell. Fast service and friendly staff. They had a decent beer selection and whiskey list. Menu quite good for food, too.

Yelp
I'm on yelp to counter all these yelpers who fancy themselves as critics. You're all living unfulfilled lives that I'd rate as 2 stars max. Olde Blind Dog is a GREAT place to eat, drink and be merry. The food is solid, service is solid and drinks are top notch.

Deb S.

Yelp
Went with 3 friends at 11 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day for a birthday lunch. Their website stated that the event started at 4 p.m. Parking was limited and there was a line to enter. Menu was one page o paper and few options. All paper plates, plastic cups and cutlery. Service was acceptable but food was mediocre. Many beer options but few other choices. No desserts. Won't be back! We went to Avalon for dessert and Irish coffee.

Debi D.

Yelp
We have been to this pub several times before and really enjoyed it, but we hadn't been back since Covid. We drove the 45 minutes there with my husband, who is from Dublin, and his mother visiting from Ireland and our kids. The service was good, but the food was a huge let down. They got rid of the curry sauce for the fries, which was my favorite thing and the most authentic Irish thing they had. Prices were really high - $25 for fish and chips that was greasy and had way too much batter. My mom in law had corned beef and cabbage and it was dry with no gravy or any kind of moisture to it. The rest had sandwiches that were okay but nothing to write home about. I had the appetizer chicken fingers with fries and they were like frozen ones from the grocery store for $12. The fries were the ends, burnt and cold. Desserts were good. Orange crème brûlée and bread pudding, and they at least ended the meal well. Overall very disappointing and expensive. We won't be making the trek across Atlanta for their food again. It's a shame because it was a favorite.

C T.

Yelp
The theming was really cool and the food was decent - just pretty average. Staff was friendly and everything came out timely.

Yelp
I've had lunch here twice and the service has been excellent. The lunch options are nice and the atmosphere is very cozy and unique. Situated in Crabapple Market , this is the perfect lunch spot.

R J.

Yelp
This was our first visit and we'd go again. We went on the 15th anniversary night and it was packed. The only downside was, we were quoted a 30 min wait, but we waited an hour. Once we sat, we had the chili as an app, it was delicious. Then I had the shepherd's pie and my hub had the meatloaf sandwich. He really liked his but mine was outstanding. I've had it in other restaurants, and this was the best I've had. It's a bit pricey but prices have gone up everywhere so it's just par for the course. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
We brought our daughter here for her 21st birthday. We asked the server, Andre, what type of IPA's they had. He said that he wasn't sure because this was the first day he worked this week. He brought two IPA samples for us to try. When my daughter ordered a beer, her first beer ever as a 21 year old, the server did not ask to see her ID. She was disappointed, because she thought for sure that they would card her. I asked for a cup of clam chowder soup, but I was served and charged for a bowl of soup. Andre checked on us a couple of times, but other times it was difficult to get his attention. He would walk by our table and simply not stop to check on us. At one point we needed additional napkins. At another point we were ready for containers for our leftovers and the check. We had to flag him down at both instances.

Tania V.

Yelp
Great ambience, very good pub grub - chile is excellent, wings and burger also good, & friendly attentive service. One of the best pubs in the alpharetta area.
google avatar

Evans B.

Yelp
Even being from California, this is arguably the best pub in America. Incredible lamb and beef shepherds pie, with a across country scotch tasting. The girls loved the bread pudding. And they actually knew what a snake bite black was. Tip of the hat. Thanks to Johnny for the scotch education.

Yelp
This is the best Irish Pub around! My fiancé is a self-appointed Irish Pub connoisseur and this pub ranks at the top of his list. Why you might ask? Well let's dive into the details: 1. It's atmosphere. I have no idea whether it is authentic...maybe one day I will travel to Ireland and amend this review to tell you more...but in the meantime, I still like it. The ambiance is cool, the details in the bars and booths are amazing and the stained-glass windows are pretty. 2. They have cool events. They have a huge St. Paddy's Day party, as any respecting Irish Pub should, along with cornhole leagues, etc. 3. They are clean. I am utterly shocked at how this number is a miss for many an Irish Pub that I have been to. Now onto the menu. Here are some shoutouts for items I have tried and loved: - The Vegetarian Boxty for Brunch. I hate to tease you with this one because it is no longer on the menu but I am somewhat selfishly putting this up now in the hopes that the owners will read this and put it back on the menu . It is traditional Irish potato pancakes with three-cheese egg casserole (eggs, cheese, chives) topped with roasted mushrooms, sautéed spinach, tomatoes, red peppers drizzled with a lemon dill beurre blanc sauce. It is packed with so much flavor and one of the best brunch items in all of the area. It is so good, I haven't tried anything else on the brunch menu. I would like to try The Sealegs Boxty with smoked salmon and the corned beef hash with real chunks of corned beef unlike the ones that look like they came out of a can. On the dinner menu: - Guinness Stout Onion Soup. Need I say more? - Chili. This was surprisingly good for an Irish Pub. - Ale and Cheddar Dip. So evil and so good with a soft pretzel for dipping. - Kilkenny Reuben. They are known for this Reuben and it shows. It is packed with corned beef that tastes like they really put a lot of love and attention to it. They didn't buy a pound from the Publix deli. Here are things on the menu that I want to try but haven't yet. I will report back when I do: - Scotch Eggs - Short Rib Quesadilla - Salmon Cakes ....see how many intriguing options they have?.... - Ale-braised Sort Rib Sandwich - Limerick Monte Christo - Shepherd's Pie - Irish Stew - Corned Beef and Cabbage - Traditional Irish Breakfast And, of course, you have to get a Snakebite at any true Irish Pub Happy eating!

Yelp
Ok.. this place feels like an escape! Fish and chips, Guinness, and french onion soup! Bruh!! Ruben egg rolls! If you're looking for something a little different check it out! Andre took very good care of us!

Yelp
Love this place!! They always have great wait staff and the menu is awesome!! I can't leave without a Dog House Salad. I wish they would bring back the Monte Cristo sandwich but I do love their Reuben. THE BEST hamburgers and onion soup. In fact, I can't think of a single thing that I was not extremely happy with. I'm not a beer drinker but they always have a nice selection of wine!! The best neighborhood place!!!
google avatar

Dan K.

Yelp
Great place! Been coming here for years. Good food. Cool atmosphere! The tots are really good and unique.

Yelp
Just stopped in here for a drink with my boyfriends extended family out here in Georgia. Didn't have time for anything other than a beer but I must say the decor inside here is really cool. The bar is a Scottish/Irish theme with authentic pub scene to a T. They also have a large bar area with a huge projection screen. Plenty of tall tables and booths to sit. The picture I added doesn't really do the place justice, it was the only one I got to snap unfortunately. The staff here is very attentive and down to earth. I would like to come check out the food on my next visit here. Especially this French onion soup I keep hearing about. Also think I may have seen Brave Heart in a cage on the way out... Gotta look into that.

Yelp
Just moved to the area. We love walking to lunch on Sunday. OBD is our first walk and eat excursion. Love the decor. Really old school and comfortable, although I believe this is a fairly new area. My hubby and I ordered French Onion Soup, Dog House Salad and Rueben. The French Onion Soup was delicious. Great broth covered with cheese. I had to send the salad back. It was made with nasty, old greens. They brought out a much better salad. It was very good. They brought the Rueben out split on two plates, both with ample fries. The corned beef was very tender and well flavored with out being salty. Service was a hit and miss. A bit slow on seating us, quick with beverages, slow taking our order, great at keeping beverages full. About right on bringing food out. Overall, nice dining experience. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
After a slightly butchered grubhub order, the GM really came through. (I'm assuming my first grubhub driver stole my food as it was already picked up 30 minutes before I called the restaurant wondering where my food was and a second driver at the restaurant wondering the same thing). They offered to remake my food and personally deliver it. Honestly, the best customer service I've ever received is from this place. The food was hot when it arrived and perfectly delicious. This has always been one of my favorite places. I was really craving comfort food (without having to cook myself) and their meatloaf hit the spot! Just like mom made it.. but BETTER! Don't tell her I said that.
google avatar

C G.

Yelp
We thought this place was great. The fish and chips were delicious, but way too much for one person to eat. I suggest sharing! The dog house salad was fresh and delicious. The Penicillin was my favorite drink. They have some great cocktail options.
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
This is our absolute favorite place to go for authentic British food. Their full Irish breakfast is excellent value for money, they use high quality ingredients including Irish bacon and sausages. Everything is cooked perfectly, the servers are always prompt and friendly.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. It's so nice inside; really gives you the feel of being in a pub. But the service here just plain sucked the 2 times I've been here; it was slow, so slow. We were seated and waited way too long before a server came over, and the place was dead. The upside is that we were had already decided and were able to order. I got the fish & chips which was basically frozen fish; just hopefully it was cod and not catfish being passed off as cod.
google avatar

Randy P.

Yelp
Unfortunately this has been one of my biggest disappointments. Although the food is actually quite good, its a matter of getting the wait staff to listen and have the correct order come to the table. More over, I have yet to have a takeout order actually be correct, this is not an exaggeration . . . in the dozen plus times it have ordered takeout, it has never been right. On a side note, the Sunday brunch is quite good. I hate having to review this place so low, but it is all on them.
google avatar

Carl B.

Yelp
A friend recommended this pub and are we glad we gave them a try! Staff is friendly and courteous, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is incredible! We've been twice and look forward to going again soon. Highly recommend this establishment!

Yelp
What a great place for lunch...the French Onion soup was the best I've ever had, after one bite and I wished I had ordered a bowl instead of the cup. Ordered the shepherd's pie and it did not disappoint... We will definitely be back...hoping to go for brunch would like to try the boxty...
