"I spoke with owner Mark Hill, a 41‑year OC Fair veteran, who said Olde Tyme Ice Cream — known for chocolate‑dipped Balboa bars, frozen bananas, and soft serve — usually operates some 50 weekends a year at fairs and events across Southern California (Long Beach Grand Prix, Queen Mary events, Griffith Park haunted hayride, San Diego and Ventura fairs, the state fair in Sacramento, and more).
