Every time I try to make peace with Ole & Steen in Richmond, I am disappointed. Ultimately it does go down to managers, because if floor staff does not know what is expected of them, why bother?
And it’s not acceptable, because their pastries are cold even in winter (have you ever found appealing a BAKED product, cold? Left in the window fridge and from there to your mouth? 😱
And the coffees… well, where to start ? I just had a flat white at a burning temperature (a quick training on how milk becomes unhealthy at very high temperature maybe?) and with no cream in the top. None. A latte, just on a different cup. And the cherry: expensive! Flipping expensive! It made mainly of water! Come on! Ok nit again at least for a loooong while.
