Olia creates a warm and cozy atmosphere with nods to Italian culture and cuisine. The pasta and meat dishes are great, although for the price, did not absolutely wow me. The Whipped Goat Ricotta, however, is the best appetizer I’ve had in a long time and I can’t stop thinking about it! Service is amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable of the menu. Overall, perfect for date night!

Olia in Edmonton is a great place to eat if you love Italian food. The restaurant feels warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is comparable to what we had in Italy. The whipped goat ricotta is my favourtie appetizer. It’s light, creamy, and full of flavour. The Tagliatelle pasta was another favourite. Unfortunately I wasn’t a big fan of the crab and potato raviolini. Everything feels carefully made with high quality ingredients. The only downside is that you can’t bring your own wine and pay a corkage fee, which was disappointing for us because we often like to bring special Italian wines that aren’t available here. Still, Olia is a wonderful spot for a nice night out and definitely worth a visit.

Everything was wonderful! The waitress was so friendly and kept an eye on our food and drinks, even the water. We tried the beef tartare and ZUCCA & BURRATA, and they were both fantastic. The pasta TAGLIATELLE was delicious, and we had the chicken POLLO AL MATTONE and rib steak BISTECCA 2" thick t-bone, which were cooked perfectly. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

Had a group gathering here. Nicer high-end ambience, service was very attentive and prompt. Antipasti was great. The mains were alright - nothing special nor noteworthy. It was worth a try but not sure if I would come again. Pricing is on the higher end.

Olia is such a lovely place with incredibly delicious food! The duck ragu is our absolute favorite — definitely the top pasta on the menu, and we order it every time we come. It’s always a pleasure to come back; the atmosphere, service, and food are consistently amazing. Daniel Costa truly does an excellent job with his restaurants. We love this place!

Heard rave reviews so I thought this place would be a great spot for my boyfriend’s birthday. They were really accommodating regarding reservation time as we needed to push back the time. The service team was pleasant but nothing left a lasting impression. Our server was friendly, but I found a few things odd. When approaching our table after we looked at the menus instead of asking us if we wanted to order drinks, she only asked us if we are ready to order food. Then when trying to decide between two options for a sparkling wine she pointed to the third more expensive option as a recommendation but proceeded to say not to worry if I don’t want to go for it since it’s a $25 glass not a comparable $18. I never mentioned price so this felt a little insulting. Then instead of affirming my entree choice, she asked me if I’m sure I like seafood as the dish was very oceany. These three instances combined just threw me off. The bussing staff also seemed to clear our appetizer plates as soon as the last bite left them. Just odd timing for table management. We had the arancini and goat ricotta which were great ! The mains were lacklustre however. I understand the concept of simplicity, however paying ~$40 for a plate of pasta should leave you at the very least impressed, wanting to come back. I appreciated the flavours and the execution of the dishes, but thought their menu could use something more. Overall a decent experience, but $150 later I’m not sure it’s a restaurant I’d want to frequent again !

We came here for a casual Monday night evening visit. Service ruined my excitement over this place by his dismissive attitude and, bordering on annoyed demeanour. He barely contained what appeared like disdain over our unique cocktail request, noting we were not charged for the coke mix. Um okay? Thanks? We weren’t charged for “mix” in our drinks. Most expensive & disappointing piece of bread and whipped ricotta I’ve ever had. It was cold, a bit soft, and salty -there is another restaurant in the city that does this type of dish way better! Unfortunately my companion had to wait another half hour before she received her portion of this unremarkable appetizer. The charred cabbage was delicious, but also overpriced for what it is. It was very busy, even on a Monday evening so reservations are recommended. It was loud, so no concerns about the nearby tables hearing your conversation. The decor is classy and the vibe is lively. Dress better than casual.

It’s the labor day holiday and thankfully they were opened and we got a reservation for a reunion dinner. Three adults and a little kid but we had a great time gathering. Hip and niche deco with an opened window for the pasta making station. We have a great time and definitely would be back again soon for more foods tasting 😋
