So happy to have found this place. This is the best thai food I’ve had in Chicago. I almost don’t want to write a review because I don’t want to it to become so busy I can’t get a table here anymore, but they really deserve the 5 stars so here I am. The place is also really cute and the service is friendly. We had the panang curry, the khao soi, finger combo, lychee green tea, oliang and the mango aloha. Everything was great.

Oliang was a solid thai restaurant with excellent food and desserts. We got the mango drink, sticky rice with mango, pad ka prow, and the khao soi. I would recommend all of them. Service was nice. You probably want to reserve in advance. One thing that bothered me was the noise. The tables are placed very close to each other, and there’s music and can hear the cooking sound. So if you prefer a quiet environment I would recommend ordering online or visiting during lunch. Other than that our experience was good.

Olivia made our experience, seamless, full of smiles, and for sure tasty. The khao soi is her favorite dish, and every single bite of it was phenomenal!! We ordered it mild and I’m personally a fan of chilies and I had some very fun red chili on the side (quite the floral heat experience from the chili). Pictured here is the Thai iced tea, fun glass, and the finger combo. Advice: come with an appetite, order two entrées. look for olivia. She’ll ensure a great and memorable dining experience!!

We got the cha yen, jasmine iced tea, crab rangoons, pad si ew, and the yellow curry! The drinks were so yummy and the meat in the pad si ew is to die for!!! This Thai place is my absolute go-to and highly recommend, also our server Alex was amazing. He was so sweet and nice!!😌✨

Super lovely atmosphere, amazing menu and really attentive service from Alex! Had such a nice time here. The duck curry is absolutely worth it. The drinks were also so surprisingly unique. Highly recommend coming through!

Food is super delicious & service was great. We got the fried duck curry and pa ka prow, and it did not disappoint. Veda was our waitress and she was amazing! She was super helpful with the food recommendations and she was super attentive. Definitely will come back for the duck curry.

What a great group of staff who are constantly looking out for your needs. They have some very spicy dishes so if you like spicy it’s great! But if you can’t be careful to not order the ones w chili pepper icons bc even the mild one you ask to be not spicy was very spicy for me. They added fresh red chili peppers and tons of white pepper which were super spicy for me as I’m a lightweight to begin with. So maybe order items that don’t have any spicy capacity :))) but even w my inability to handle spice where I asked them not to make it spicy at all, it still came out spicy. The staff worked with me and so did the chef. The only problem was they didn’t tell us they were charging us $4.50 for the extra plain noodles to make it tolerable to eat. We only realized it after we got home when we took a second look at the receipt and it was disappointing. I just wish they told us in advance bc I would have just not eaten it and taken it home to add my own rice or noodles. The food flavors itself were very good. The Thai iced tea was fresh and tasted very good. I didn’t care for the rice based dessert that much because it was too thick but that’s personal preference. The ambience was beautiful with the little lights and the high-level area that is not part of the restaurant to be seated, but it’s still beautiful to look at. There is free parking on the street at night if you go around the corner.

I absolutely love this establishment. The ambiance is relaxing and so beautiful with all the plants. The hanging ivy’s are so impressive and clearly very well loved. The special drinks selection is amazing, I highly recommend cha yen (aka Thai iced tea). Sooooo yummy and looks exactly like the photo on menu. Nadia, our server, was absolutely amazing. Her service was impeccable thorough and very informative. She was patient, sweet and kind. I’m a plant lover and can be annoying but she was so patient and knowledgeable. 10/10 highly recommend.

So glad my husband and I found this place randomly when we were craving thai food. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The service is amazing and the restaurant itself is very cute! This place is the best for thai food in the neighborhood. I have pretty much tried everything on the menu and every item has been delicious. This is our go to thai place for dine in and take out! The crab rangoons are a must! Their red curry and thai fried rice are amazing. The thai ice tea is very refreshing. Great place for date nights and families too!

Hello everyone, Today the fat boy & wifey went to have some Thai food. We heard about Oliang and decided to give them a try. It's very nice and cozy on the inside. Dimly lit, neutral natural colors. Two young ladies provided amazing service. They were attentive without being overly aggressive. Very down to earth young ladies. 9.5/10 I started with The Oliang. It's a Thai Iced Coffee. I love the sweet Iced Coffee it's up my alley. And this one was delicious. Just enough ice not to water it down. And the milk balanced the sweetness. I really liked it. 9/10 We ordered the Finger combo for an appetizer. It consisted of 3 homemade crab Rangoon, 4 crispy fingers (mini chicken egg rolls), 2 crispy rolls (vegetable egg rolls), 3 pork pot stickers (fried)? The crab Rangoon were my favorite. It pairs so well with the sauce that comes with it. A sweet & cheesy savory treat. The rolls were decent not bad. The pot stickers were my wife's favorite. They had a very good flavor. Delicious. The menu had steamed but they came fried? Great for me, the wifey wanted steamed. 8.6/10 Crab Rangoon, crispy rolls 5/10, crispy fingers 6.5/10, pot stickers 8/10 We both had the Basil fried rice. The wife had shrimp added. I had a combination of shrimp, chicken and steak. It's a medium heat dish but I had extra Thai chili added. And the spice did not disappoint! The dish was full of flavor for sure. And it's a huge portion and they don't skimp on the protein!! For me the rice was a little bit wet. and slightly overcooked for the wifey's liking. But I won't hold that against them. Although my wife's dish seemed spicer than mine did. And I'm the one who asked for extra heat not my wife. The basil fried rice: 7.7/10 The experience was great, food was good enough for another visit. 8.8/10 overall Remember ALL reviews are subjective

Oliang has a nice ambiance, good service, and the food is cooked fresh to order. I love the lighting and outdoor feel I get in here. You'll see the kitchen hard at work as you walk in and get seated. Oliang has some fun non-alcoholic drinks along with some boba, and you'll want to try these Asian cocktails. They go well with the menu, which has some different items compared to your typical Thai restaurant. I had the duck curry and panang noodles and finished with mango sticky rice. The duck curry was the real star of the show. The duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender and had the right amount of chew in every bite. With the pineapple and coconut milk, the flavors really meld to make this a winner. I wish the panang noodles had more noodles in it, but it was almost as good as the duck curry. This dish has large pieces of chicken, and the curry had nicely developed flavor with the right amount of spices. No trip to a Thai spot is complete without mango sticky rice. I love this dessert. Mangos are in season, and the sticky rice with that coconut milk is to die for. Don't leave without ordering this!

This place is so cute on the inside and so it their food! We made a reservation and were sat right by the window so had the cutest view outside and into the restaurant. The menu has a ton of options for everyone and they even have a great drink menu as well. The food was delicious and the perfect portions, especially if you order it with a protein. We got everything pretty timely for a busy evening. I would love to come back to try a few of their drinks!

Oh my word this place is delicious! I was coming to the city to visit but was getting in late so this was already picked up and we ate in. I was told the ambiance in the restaurant was really great and we definitely should dine in some day soon. Consider it on my list. We shared an order of the Pad Thai and it was absolutely delicious, probably some of my top 2-3 I've ever had and it's a dish I order frequently. Their crab rangoon was also really good and seemed to have more actual crab than just cream cheese. I cannot wait to go here again!

Montana peach mocktail-a very sweet drink, let the ice melt a little to water down the sweetness Crab Rangoon-so good and fresh, not oily or greasy at all, fried to perfection and the perfect amount of filling, circular shape, a little more than a bite-size portion, comes with 6, sauce is light and not too sweet Steam pot stickers-steamed well Chicken pad si ew-taste like your regal pad si ew Beef pad kee mao-it's like a pad si ew but has a little bit of spiciness and more variety of veggies Basil fried rice-it has a kick to it, taste a little bit of the basil but not too much, the texture of the rice is sticky and chewy Chicken khao soi-my favorite dish, love the curry sauce, very flavorful, love the texture of the egg noodles and the crispy noodles Chicken Penang curry and chicken green curry-both served fresh and very hot (in temperature), creamy and very tasty All ingredients here are made fresh and the portions are great for sharing for a group of 7 people to try a variety of dishes at a decent price. Service is great and the people who own the restaurant are very kind. The decor inside is very cute with the hanging lights and plants.

We ordered from Oliang via uber eats, and the food arrived quickly. We ordered Pad Thai, Panang curry, Kra pow beef, Spicy beef salad, and Pad see ew. Each of them had a distinct flavor, and we especially liked the Panang curry for its rich and complex sauce. The spicy beef salad was also interesting in that they perfectly rinsed the onions (or something?) to keep the flavor of the onion without the normal "heat". We really enjoyed the meal!

I crave takeout from here AT LEAST once a week. The yellow curry medium spice hits every time! My partner always get the panang curry and love it as well. Do not, I repeat, do NOT forget to get crab rangoons here. Everything we've tried is amazing and I look forward to my frequent cravings.

We were a bit curious about this place because somehow we've convinced ourselves that ethnic food is only authentic when it's served in messy, chaotic environments. We were taken aback when we walked in and this place was a clean, well-organized bistro-ish vibe. But we were SO impressed with the food! The spring rolls, curry, and everything my husband ordered too. I've been waiting to get back here though it's somewhat out of the way for me. The only one drawback is that tables are really close together - NYC style - so conversations are hard to keep private or focused. But on the flip side of that, we had a couple of a date next to us and there's no way you're not overheating as much as you may try not to. So that can be fun, I guess?

We came here on a Friday night. It wasn't too busy. There were still empty tables. We ordered Panang noodles, one beef Pad Si Ew, one chicken Pad Si Ew, and Pineapple Shrimp Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice. The curry sauce in the Panang noodles was delicious. My friends and I wish there were more noodles for that dish because the sauce was very yummy. The pad si ew for both were a little on the salty side. The curry for the pineapple shrimp was also good. The curry for that was more sweeter than the panang curry. The mango sticky rice was super good. The portion for that was big. They gave a lot of mango on the sticky rice. The color of the sticky rice was different from other Thai restaurant. The mangoes were very sweet. It was real good. The restaurant itself was not too big. It was a small and cute restaurant. The staff was very nice and attentive. When the restaurant got busy, there wasn't enough ventilation circulating because it was getting smoky. My friends and I were coughing a little bit due to the smell of it.

Oliang is a somewhat hidden Thai restaurant off Ashland. They have a very small storefront, but the restaurant expands very far back. Once inside, you're greeted by greenery and artwork that transport you away from the streets of Chicago. The food itself is fantastic. I get a Panang curry pretty much everywhere I go and this is one of the best I've had to date. The presentation is also fantastic. The portion size is also perfect for leaving you satisfied but not overfilled. Overall, I'm glad I managed to find Oliang and hope to be back in the future.

The coffee is not very good here but the food is!! Have been here twice and would recommend the Coconut Shrimp and Pad Kee Mao. The entrees were large portions so we got to take some home. Next time would want to try the desserts. Thai custards are amazing!

The panang noodle special is one of my all time favorite dishes! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they stir fry the noodles before they pack them, with the sauce on top so I can mix it up when it gets here. There are somehow tons of vegetables and tons of chicken and tons of noodles! It also reheats remarkably well. Spicy but not overpowering. I've also tried the pad see ewe which was fantastic, the pepper steak which is delicious, and the basil chicken which is solid. Not my favorite version of it but still delicious. Prices are a bit higher than some of their competitors but it is absolutely worth it.

Did takeout this time, but would love to check this place out in person. The ambiance and decor looks like it would be a really nice experience. For two people we got the Finger Combo, Pad Si Ew with Beef, and Panang Curry with Chicken. The finger combo was a good size to split for two people. I really liked the crab Rangoon and crispy rolls but the baby rolls and pot stickers were just ok, most tasted like the fried wrapper. The pad si ew was really good and the beef was nice and tender. I also really liked the curry which was a little spicy but doable (and I have a no spice tolerance) but the chicken could've been cut a little smaller. Lots of veggies in both and they were just a little crunchy which I liked. We ended up with a little bit leftover, but it probably would've been the perfect amount if we didn't get the app.

I immediately liked the atmosphere, especially the soothing music and warm welcome from the pretty hostess. It's a perfect place for a quiet first date, with plenty of large and spacious tables for two people. I ordered Thai Iced tea, which is sweet and refreshing. I started with Shumai, fried with a generous amount of dumplings, 8 or 9 pieces good enough for two. For my main course, I ordered the Pineapple Shrimp Curry; it was delicious, especially the silky smooth sauce. Although they give you plenty of Shrimp, I thought they were a bit "rubbery." The sauce was tasty with tomatoes, chunks of pineapple, and coconut Milk. I will go back again, but I would order something different.

This was some of the worst Thai food I've ever had. They must be paying a bot to write good reviews because the food is not authentic Thai, nor is it good. Fried Rice was overcooked and gummy sticking together like mush. And white rice was similar in consistency. Pad see ew had barley and broccoli or noodles and had carrots in it. Carrots? Burned and I mean BLACK pad see ew. Crab Rangoon was stuffed with grated carrots to give a fake appearance of crab meat -deceiving. Menu is also deceiving, the prices are over the top and then they charge you extra on top for protein on top of the over inflated price. Red curry, they charged me $3 extra for vegetables - and it barely had vegetables. And they were overcooked!! Beef wasn't cut properly and all connected together. Chef is amateur at best and not authentic Thai. I will never again eat here and their food and pricing practices are totally wrong. Bad, overcooked food, and totally overpriced garbage. People were nice inside, but you feel jipped and taken advantage of, when you think of the quality of the food. Go somewhere else. Do NOT trust the fake 5 star reviews.

A new thai restaurant in the park west(?) area! Free parking is available right in front but Ashland is a busy street so it might be difficult. They were still working on the decorations on the place, but the inside is basically done and it is so cute! Loved it. The waitress was very attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu items. Appetizer Combo: a little bit of everything! Was surprised to see fried spring rolls here as I do not see it often. A personal favorite of mine. The crab ra goons were nice. Sauce was just right. Would recommend for a group! 7.9/10 Noodle: I forget the name of the dish but it was great. The crispy noodles on top is a nice texture mix up and they have noodles at the bottom soaking up all the flavor of the soup. Acidity of the lime brings it all together. Came with a decent amount of chicken as well. I did get a taste of the pad thai which was also good, but glad I picked this to mix up from the usual. 8.1/10

You can tell this unusual space has had many former lives but the current tenant has done a good job disguising an older building with some quirks and transforming it into a tropical environment. The service was polite and attentive. Lots of two seater tables so it's good for a quick lunch date. Our fried coconut shrimp app came quickly with the usual sweet/sour dipping sauce. Breading was a little thick but still tasty. For mains, we had the Penang curry and pad kee mao. Both were tasty with a good amount of spice. Nothing stood out as wow, I need to come back for this, but we enjoyed a good, quick meal in under an hour.

Overall Thoughts: This is a relatively new Thai spot in Lincoln Park with cute, green, aesthetic vibes. The space is fairly small, with 8 tables total that seat 2-4 people. I came on a Thursday night for dinner and it wasn't too crowded. The menu offers standard Thai fare with all the staples from noodles to curries to stir-fried entrees. I ordered the Khao Soi Chicken, which tasted good, but wasn't that traditional in its ingredient profile. The broth and egg noodles were both deliciously creamy with a strong curry taste, and had a mild spicy flare. However, I wish they used the traditional chicken drumstick instead of chicken breast, which was a bit dry and not as flavorful. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The prices are pretty standard for the area-- not unreasonably high, but not low either. This little cafe in Lincoln Park is actually a great Thai restaurant. oliang_chicago sever staples like Pad Thai, curries and special Khao Soi Clean restaurant with plants & service is awesome. Beautiful interior, delicious food, attentive staff, and fast service. We dined in on a Sunday afternoon and very much enjoyed our experience. We started with the Finger Combo. I tried the crab rangoon and crispy rolls which I thoroughly enjoyed. The only note I have is that it comes with a tiny cup of sweet and sour sauce. The dish could definitely use a bigger serving of sauce to complement all the yummy fried finger foods! The pineapple shrimp curry was perfectly sweet and creamy with a hearty helping of rice. My mom said the Pad Si Ew was tasty, loved the presentation as well. My boyfriend ordered the Basil Fried Rice which packed a spicy kick but was super flavorful. We are excited to have a new Thai place in our repertoire!

First time ordering in, and everything was fantastic. It's a little pricier than other Thai places, but it's great quality and flavors, generous portions. I thought their Pad Woon Sen was one of the better ones I've had in the city. I'll definitely order again and try other noodle dishes. Oliang, please add Papaya Salad to your menu :)

The best Thai food in Chicago by far! The ambience is beautiful. The people are nice. drinks are amazing. And I've never had anything bad off of the menu. If you're looking for Thai food, definitely check this out!

My bf and I came to Oliang for lunch. It was relatively quiet so we did not have to wait too long for a table. To start, the place was nicely decorated and designed. I loved the open kitchen concept. You can smell the aroma of the food being cooked. We ordered the following: - Guichai (Pan-fried Chive Cakes) / 8.5 out of 10: This brings back childhood memories. It was light and crispy on the outside and warm with the right amount of bite of the rice cake on the inside. I wished there were a bit more chives but otherwise, it was yummy. The sauce that it came with was equally delicious to pair with the guichai. - Panang Noodle (Medium Spicy) / 10 out of 10: I've never had panang noodles before, usually just by itself with a side of rice. This take on panang noodle was so good. It is a must try for sure. The medium spicy level was spicy but nothing anyone can't handle if you're used to eating spicy food. In fact, we thought it could be spicier. There were plenty of vegetables and meat. The noodles appeared to be fried on the wok as you can see and taste the char. The panang sauce was not overpowering and had a good amount of coconut to balance the spice and make it creamy. - Spicy Beef Salad (Medium Spicy) / 10 out of 10: The spicy beef salad was a refreshing dish to add to the meal. The slices of beef grilled and topped on the bed of vegetable, Thai chilis, and drizzled with their sauce made for a perfect pairing. The sauce had a touch of citrus to balance out the fish sauce. While this was on a medium spice level, it was spicier than the panang noodle. Overall, for a first impression visit, we would definitely come back again to try the rest of the menu.

Great spot for Thai food in a great location. Easy street parking. Great service. Lovely little inside. Excellent food. Definitely recommend each of the dishes. Crispy Roll is probably the best I have ever had and the Pad Kee Mao was excellent. Will be back for this awesome spot all around.

Best Thai I've ever had! The customer service will make you feel like a close friend and they are very attentive. The food is delicious and feels like a warm hug! The atmosphere is so cute and cozy. A great neighborhood Thai spot that I'll be adding to my list of favorites!

Kitchen pumps out a quality yet modestly sized menu (get the finger appetizers). Front of house staff are friendly. Super solid.

Very authentic Thai food. For 5 people , we started with an order of steamed chicken dumplings, an order of steamed shrimp dumplings and an order of mini egg rolls. We then shared an order of green curry with shrimp, an order of beef pad see ew and an order of shrimp pad woon sen. Everything was good. Be warned authentically spicy but solidly good. Atmosphere is bare bones casual with some lovely plants. Probably about 6-8 tables. Service was good. Not outstanding but definitely pretty good overall

Wonderful location for lunch or dinner. We got the finger combo, pad thai, green curry, and garlic & pepper steak. It was all wonderful, the pad thai & green curry were my favorite. Service was quick and very friendly.

Walking in felt like we has been transported. Cozy, quaint, lots of plants, big pictures window....loves the ambiance. We received a warm friendly welcome as well. Thai tea was the best I've had. All the food was perfectly balance flavor wise. I tried all my go to favorite dishes and each one was so yummy. I'll be back to try thr crab rangoon...since they were out this time.

I ordered delivery from this place and was impressed! The pad Thai was so tasty, delivered quick and the rangoons were amazing! The Thai tea was the best I have had in Chicago so far!!! Due to the Thai tea craving I decided to go in person storefront and was blown away! Such a calm, clean and relaxing environment with amazing service!!! Thai would be a great place to study or read!! Their prices are more than fair and the flavor is there!!! Great spot!

Ambiance is great! Really cute place! Service excellent! We wanted to try the much talked about crab rangoon but they were already out (and it was only 2 pm, what are they going to do for the rest of the night?). We had the baby egg rolls instead and they were tiny but delicious. The tangy sauce that accompanied it brought it up. Thai iced tea was the best ever! So uniquely frothy, never had anything like it. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao. The noodles were a little over cooked to my liking and the dish was a bit greasy but the taste was spot on. Next the Pad Siu with chicken. Again, noodles were a bit over cooked but tasted good. The chicken was very juicy. Boy, be prepared for a big serving size! (Not complaining). We also had the green curry with chicken and no complaints here. Heat (spicy) level was perfect (medium). Delicious. Thai grilled beef salad. Delicious. If the little things i mentioned were in order, i would have given this 5 stars, time will tell. We will definitely be going back!

My friend had tried Thai food before and came across a reel on ig. I further researched to see that they had great reviews. The food was delicious and very fresh. We both loved the crab rangoon. The garlic & pepper beef was a little over cooked. The pad Thai was amazing (beef, chicken and shrimp. My friend was sure about the jasmine tea but ended up loving it. I enjoyed my Thai ice coffee as well. The ambiance was nice but had a few items lying around.

Been here twice, the food is excellent and the service was very good. We appreciated that the panang curry with chicken actually had a good amount of meat, and was delicious! Panang curry is easily our favorite and they didn't disappoint! We also really enjoyed the Pad Se Ew with Beef. The veggies were cooked perfectly (actually in everything, the veggies were great. We also love the Thai fried rice with tofu, if we're full we'll take one to go. Tried the spicy beef salad this last time, delicious.. a little spicy and refreshing.

Thai food is a major food group for me and I can easily say this is one of the best in the city. The space is beautiful with all the greenery and the owner is very hands on and pleasant. You can tell that see loves her restaurant and customers. Crab rangoon - 4/5 They evenly fried and generously filled Pad ke mao - 5/5 We got ours our medium spicy with shrimp. It was amazing! The flavors were balanced and the veggies crisp. Good level of spice but get mild if you don't like spicy food Penang curry - 5/5 Very, very good. The curry had depth and was the right consistency. This was milder but a nice break from the spice of the other dish. I will definitely be back to try the other dishes. I think the price is justified by the quality and portion of the dishes.

Wonderful Sunday night family dinner for 8. No problem at all walking in without reservation on Sunday. But it only seats 24 so I'd recommend reservations weeknight for dinner. Wonderful ambiance and super friendly service. The appetizers were the all stars. Fried tofu plus the mixed plate of crab Rangoon, spring rolls and fried wontons with sweet and tangy sauces. Yum! The entrees were nicely sized, abundant rice accompanying them all. My green curry tofu was nicely sweet from the coconut milk and had a kick. Looking forward to a return.

We ordered take out so I can't speak to the restaurant vibe or service inside. Overall, we weren't as impressed as we would have hoped. We ordered the following: - Penang noodle - the curry itself was fine. Just didn't seem too different than other places. I was expecting the noodle to be crispier Or prepared differently but it was just noodle with with curry on top. - pad see wee- usually a go-to item at other restaurants for my toddlers but this was prepared very differently. There was some spice or it had pepper I think so my son didn't take too it. It didn't taste bad; it was just different - pad kraw prow- basil chicken dish was meh. It was strips of chicken so I was disappointed that it wasn't the usual minced chicken you get everywhere else. I will say the ingredients seemed quite fresh. Menu is short which is fine. Nothing was very bad but it just seemed everything was just executed differently.

The service was great. I had 8 people with me and we didn't know you could make reservations, but the 30 minute wait was worth it. The place looked great, the vines and lights gave a very comfortable look. The walls and paintings and color scheme all came together. The food was amazing. I got the edamame and the Thai Fried Rice with beef and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Some of my friends took a bite and they were amazed. WARNING! Fullerton Train Station should not be trusted. We were a block away at a cross walk and we were walking and a guy started yelling and swearing at us accusing us of stealing his "Wifi Box" out of his pocket. He wouldn't stop yelling at us and we didn't do anything to him. We called the security for the train station and he yelled at the booth worker. NEVER GO TO THAT STATION. THERE IS A CON MAN WAITING TO STRIKE ON HIS NEXT VICTIM.

Came here with some friends and ended up waiting 35 minutes for a table to open up on a Friday evening. I tried to make a reservation online earlier but was told last night by the server that reservations are taken only via phone (which I found out when I got to the restaurant). We got seated and other than the hard black seats lining the wall (both my friends sat against the wall and commented on it simultaneously when they sat down), the ambiance was cute. We ordered the panang curry with chicken, pad si ew noodle dish, and shrimp and pineapple curry dish. The food came out hot and super flavorful and delicious and portion sizes were big. At the end of the meal, our waitress brought out a check and we waited around for another 15 or so minutes before I attempted to give her the bill at which point she gestured to the front and said that meals were paid at the front . Would have been nice to have gotten a heads up. Overall, the food was delicious and I would definitely come back again. Service could be a bit more streamlined; otherwise, no major complaints.

So authentic and the staff is so nice! Our go to Thai spot!! The curry was some of the best we've had in Chicago.

Everything I ate here was spectacular. I ordered the yellow curry, sampled the basil fried rice and we enjoyed an appetizer with crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and more. Our server was awesome as well and the décor made for a nice atmosphere.

Wow; this place was excellent. From the service, to the ambiance, to the food itself... it checked all the boxes - and very well I must say. We ordered the panang noodle (which was an interesting plate since I've never had panang curry noodle like that) The spices were absolutely on point. We also ordered the spicy beef salad. It was at a medium spice level and I think we personally could've had it spicier however for the typical westerner palate it might be too spicy! This was a very enjoyable lunch during the week because of how great everything was. I would absolutely recommend this place to others and also even for those looking to just grab a coffee or boba tea since they have a front little area overlooking Ashland that feels cozy.

This literally checked every box! If you love Thai food.. run, dont walk. Pro tip: They do accept reservations over the phone. Also plenty of FREE parking right in front. Came here on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. Very inconspicuous location from the outside. Cozy interior, open kitchen letting out all the delicious smells, and the staff was incredibly kind. We ordered: 1) Coconut shrimp 5/5: Fresh, crispy, delicious pieces of shrimp fried so well that you don't even get a sliver taste of oil. Comes with 5 pieces. Must get. 2) Khao Soi Chicken 5/5: The crispy noodles just melt into the warm, thick, inviting curry sauce. The chicken is incredibly fresh, and even carries its own flavor ON TOP of the curry. Must get. 3) Pad Thai (combination) 5/5: Top 3 pad thai I've had in the city. The warm sticky noodles are complimented by the very generous serving of protein. The veggies are crisp, not soggy like in most places, and give the appearance of as though they were just picked from the garden. I wont take a star off for this, my only complaints are: 1) They dont serve alcohol, nor allow BYOB. 2) They were out of the crab rangoon, the wide noodles used in the Panang Noodle dish, and the brown sugar bubble tea Will definitely come back and try the rest of the dishes.

Ordered pickup because we live 3 blocks away. We were a bit early, but everything was ready, packed well, hot/ fresh, and really good. I'll definitively order again. Although I only got a peek inside, it looked nice, and the staff was very kind to my little girls.
