There was no one helping the customer, the “bartender” was chatting with friends and not doing her job. I had to wait more than 20 minutes for a mimosa. The cook was the only nice person there. So overpriced for that terrible service.

Had a long layover in Houston and construction was going on towards terminal C. Decided to have breakfast. I was the only one there, but didn’t realize it would take an hour to get my food another hour to get my receipt. Glad I wasn’t in a rush, otherwise it would have been a different story. Don’t recommend to travelers with little time. But if your layover is at least over 2 hours, you’re cutting it close. Overall, I don’t recommend this place or any of the OTG restaurants. Go elsewhere and save yourself some time or avoid eating around terminal C14 area.

We had a long layover at the Houston airport in Jan. 2025. Five of us discovered the very quiet section of the airport in Terminal C that contained Olio Italian Panini Bar, which we had read about online. We turned a corner out of the hubbub towards Olio. That section of the airport was almost empty because gates were not being used due to nearby construction. WOW, what an oasis!! Iyesha was our personal chef. She gave me a menu to take to show the others. We all came back to order. Iyesha was attentive, upbeat, friendly, and made delicious paninis, sandwiches, and rosemary/parmesan fries for us. None of the items listed below were on the menu we used. The food was a healthy and tasty, and Olio was a welcome respite from the roar of the airport. Give Iyesha a raise!

Welp. I wasn't going to write a bad review because of the service because I firmly believe people have their days. I also over heard what seemed to be the person who helped me's first day. And I don't believe in crucified someone for mistakes that are not their fault. So I submitted a comment card/ survey form about the service and my food taking over 40 minutes but did not post publicly. But then. I got food poisioning. After over 40 minutes of waiting I asked the server if they knew how much longer my food was going to take. After some fumbling and maybe 5 minutes I recieved a lukewarm omelet with a sad excuse for home fries. The "brisket" had a strange taste that I mistakenly attributed as gamey, and thought perhaps they use grass fed beef. Why? Well, no one trained the new person properly and they didn't know they were supposed to go pick up my food from the central kitchen. Mine and 2 other meals had apparently just been chilling in the window. Now I can usually, let that slide but I got horrific food poisoning. It was coming out of both ends. I'm in the food service industry and have a few Certifications. I understand food poisoning, true food poisoning does not occur immediately. I was violently ill about a day and a half after my meal here at Olio. I had a fever, chills, vomiting up even the tiniest sip of water. Spent the first 2.5 days of my vacation in bed, sweating, praying my guts would stop twisting themselves into knots and that I could make it to the bathroom. Do you know how absurd it is to get food poisoning on vacation and it's NOT from the developing nation's street food? Anyways, I updated my comment form to OLIO and no one responded about any sort of food investigation to prevent further harm so I am placing this on google for all to see. :)

I had one of the best grilled cheeses here that I’ve ever had before, and my server was such a sweetheart! Service was speedy also and portion size was large. I definitely can see why there are lower reviews though, and it has nothing to do with the food or service but everything to do with the confusing ordering process. I’m 23 and am very comfortable with online ordering, contactless service, and QR codes but I don’t think the older generations can say the same. I definitely see why other people may be confused and frustrated with how this restaurant works and I empathize with the employees because it is likely confusing on their end too

If I could give this place less than 1 * I totally would. These punks make a table service internet QR code, I ordered from it and they charged my credit card and never delivered. Went looking found no one at the servings area. No one there. Went to the CIBO express across the hall and bought a snack through the self checkout as no one was there either. Checked credit card and they were the same company. A punk dude turned up there finally and I approached him and asked him. He said he didn't know nothing. I showed the charges on the card and that both places are the same company. He still was not good for anything. This place is broken they commit fraud by charging cards and not delivering. I will dispute this charge when I lane. At least Jesse James used a mask and gun. This place is not worth feeding. DO NOT GO HERE gate C15 either CIBO or Italian Panini Kitchen.

This place is a dump. I was greeted, then five minutes later wondered why no one had asked me for my order. The waitress was sitting down at a table eating her own lunch. I ordered, and twenty minutes later there was no food in sight and my plane was boarding. The cook was on his second day and had no one helping him, had no idea what he was doing. Don't waste your time or money here.

Overall experience was not good, but definitely could be better. I ordered an Italian wedding soup and a cup of coffee. The soup got to me in about 20 minutes which I was ok waiting for. HOWEVER, I still have not received the coffee I ordered and paid for. It’s been about 60 minutes and of course I’ll update if I ever get it. (Time of this review 2:51pm, Friday September 22; order placed on same day at 1:04pm)
