"This charming café, sheltered within a shopping enclave, hosts a loyal following at outdoor tables shaded by age-old oak trees. Inside, the kitchen team works out of a glass-walled kiosk, dressed up with blue-and-white tile as well as neatly lined cans and bottles. The menu is an enticing offering of breakfast fare, featuring organic eggs that support Turkish mezzes, manti and savory pastries like borek. Baked in-house, this burnished coil is stuffed with spinach, sprinkled with sesame seeds and garnished with cherry tomatoes. The izmir kofte arrives in a mini ceramic dish filled with beef meatballs baked in tomato sauce alongside batons of roasted potato. A single charred jalapeño adds the perfect bit of heat to each mouthful." - Michelin Inspector

The food here was underwhelming, especially for the price. The mezze platter was mostly plain Greek yogurt mixed with veggies or seasoning—nothing really stood out. Salad was average, and while the lahmacun was decent, it was the only dish I genuinely liked. Meat and fish were just okay, not memorable. The dessert was the highlight of the meal. Service was disappointing, especially considering the mandatory 20% service charge—our server was inattentive and rarely refilled our water. Overall, not worth the hype or the cost.

A must try for the food, atmosphere, and hospitality: 5 stars all around! We had such a fantastic experience for my mother-in-law's birthday. All the dishes were extremely flavorful, made with quality ingredients and served as large portions. Our waiter Mehmet was extremely accommodating and friendly, even kind enough to debone the whole branzino tableside for us. The whole team brought out tambourines to sing for her birthday, getting all the other guests involved. She left beaming!

The food was absolutely amazing — every bite felt like home. From the rich flavors to the perfectly cooked dishes, it truly brought back memories of Turkey. And the service? Warm, funny, and genuine. Alperen made us feel like guests in his own home. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Turkish cuisine with real Turkish hospitality!

First time here and it definitely won’t be our last! The staff was incredibly friendly especially our waiter, Alp, who was awesome! He recommended all the dishes we tried, and he did a fantastic job. We started with the Sehzade Tray, which was absolutely delicious. For our main course, we had the Begendili Kebab and Manti both were so flavorful and satisfying. I’ll definitely be ordering those again! And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert. We had the Kazandibi, and it was so yummy a must try! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and amazing service.

Cute little restaurant for a nice introduction to Turkish food. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the dishes served to us! Our server, Maria, was incredibly knowledgeable about the cuisine and guided us through the menu, making sure to provide detailed recommendations. All the waitstaff were so attentive, love the experience.

Every neighborhood bar needs a Maria! From the moment I walked into Olivia’s, she made me feel like a regular. Warm, welcoming, and effortlessly kind, Maria brings a special kind of energy that makes this place feel like home. She remembers your name, your drink, and somehow always knows when you need a little extra kindness—or a strong cocktail. Her service is top-notch. Whether you’re there for a quiet drink or a night out with friends, Maria makes the experience even better. Olivia’s is lucky to have her, and so are we. Can’t wait to come back soon! — A Grateful Guest

Yelp
I'm so glad a friend introduced me to @olivamiami Sunset Menu before August ended! A full 4-course Turkish feast for just $40 & every bite was amazing! Fresh mezzes & salads (yogurt w/chili, garlicky spinach, juicy tomatoes, mint, walnuts & pomegranate). Mains like the Doner Platter, Adana & Chicken Shish were tender, flavorful & filling. The sweetest ending baklava, coconut cakes, pumpkin w/tahini & silky caramelized pudding which were my fave!! They closed it off with some delicious Turkish tea to help settle the tummy with the explosion of flavors! Their setting is perfect for date night! White tablecloths, beautiful decor & perfect music for the sense! From start to finish, this meal was a true Turkish flavor journey. We are already planning our next visit! Special shout out to Alps (like the French Alps but he's not French!)... He was patient with our group & attentive to every need down to the music! Really some amazing dine out service! And remember, it's Oliva by El Turco, so make sure you land in the right place!

Yelp
So we originally intended to eat at El Turco, but there wasn't enough seating under shelter in a rainy day so they escorted us over to Oliva, but the seating host failed to tell us its two different menus and different price points. We came for dinner time just before the late evening rush. Server was kind and attentive. To start they brought us olives in oil and bread. Anatolian cocktail: The passion fruit chilies cocktail with tequila was very well balanced between sweetness and spice. Appetizer: carrot yogurt dip, and as I can't eat bread she offering julienned carrots and cucumbers to eat it with. It was so tasty. Meal: we shared the Turco Platter which comes with three types of meats (chicken, fiber and beef), bulgur wheat, onions and salad. Good and plentiful, enough for three average appetites, or for a couple with two kids. Plenty of dessert options but we went with goat milk ice cream with pistachios and it was lovely--not too sweet not too rich. They brought complimentary tea at the end which was a nice digestif.

Yelp
When my friend suggested we check out this new place and try their Sunset Menu I didn't hesitate to say yes! Located in Upper Buena Vista, Oliva is a beautifully decorated open air restaurant with delicious food and gracious service. Their Sunset Menu was a feast! For $40 you get a 3 course meal and then some. Served semi family style, we left beyond satisfied and with plenty of leftovers. While looking over the menu we were served complimentary olives in a marinade of sorts with what tasted like freshly baked bread, just from this we knew we were in for a treat as we were raving about how good something as simple as bread and olives tasted. Soon after, we placed our orders and our vast assortment of Mezze's arrived, the spread pretty much took up the entire table, with flavors like eggplant, hummus, spinach, to name a few, we savored all of them with the just as fresh and warm pita bread. Also served were the salads, 2 different, both refreshing salads, perfect for the summery night we were having. Shortly after our entrees arrived, and everyone's dish looked amazing and tasted just as good as it looked. Even though by this point we were all pretty full, we all had room for dessert and the platter that was served was spectacular! A variety of sweets like Baklava, a sponge cake, pumpkin, custard pie, we cleaned that plate in a second! Hot Turkish tea sealed our evening and we were beyond happy with our outing.

Yelp
The service was fantastic in the place. It's a nice outdoor restaurant with Turkish decorations. The staff is so nice and friendly. They provided us with a great experience by explaining the menu. The appetizers were all kinds of Turkish dips, served it bread. Everything was delicious. We had some dips that were spicy, some sweet but all in all delicious. For the main I opted for the lamb and it was cooked to perfection. Let's talk about dessert. We had a platter of different kinds of desserts all spectacular. My favorite was baklava and revani cake. Please make sure to go to this place. It's incredible.

Yelp
Amazing service, ambiance and food quality. Very attentive staff- especially our server Umit. Surrounded by other fun restaurants/cafes. Generous portions- enough to share. Do not confuse with El Turco (directly besides this location) highly recommend reservations.
