Most restaurants at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport close at 10pm, so this was one of a very few choices open slightly later after I landed. There was a decent number of customers seated, so I figured I'd give it a try. As I perused the offerings, three different staff members greeted me and asked if I was ready to order, which I found surprisingly nice and much appreciated. Initially, I was torn between the deep dish pizza slices and grilled sandwiches but for some reason chose the later. Looking at the display area, the sandwiches were premade and stacked tens upon tens; they looked plain & unappealing but I also didn't know how long the pizza had been sitting out so I figured my option would at least be freshly pressed. I decided to order the grilled cheese with tomato because of the variety of cheeses included. The gentleman who took my order brought it to my table, completely encased in a foil sandwich wrap, and told me to be careful as the contents would be hot. Much to my surprise, there was a good amount of cheese but the sandwich was barely warm and individual slices were still visible so...not "hot" at all as the sandwich wasn't grilled long enough for the cheese to fully melt. And it was as dry as the Arizona air. Never in my life have I had a grilled cheese prepared anywhere without butter! Frankly, I'm fed up (pun intended) with mediocre airport food at outrageous prices and adamantly believe that merchants repeatedly get away with this because people are either tired, in a rush and/or desperately hungry. I've had much better food from 7-Eleven and at least fast food chains like McDonald's have predictable quality. I'd rather go hungry for a few hours than waste my time and money here again.

The deep dish pizza here is excellent. I had the cheese pizza. I would definitely recommend and would have it again when I pass by next. I also had the Simple Green salad which was nice too. I also had the chocolate chip cookie and red velvet brownie, both of which were alright.

Olive & Ivy is a nice restaurant with excellent food inside terminal four, near gate A3. The things that I’ve had there have been good, including the Panini/pizza, and the prices are typical airport prices, but unlike most airport food, their food is actually good and the seating is nice

Just went here for a coffee because their espresso machine looked decent. Service was very friendly but the Cappuccino had nothing in common with an actual Cappuccino, or coffee in general. At least it’s that hot that you won’t be able to try it before your plane leaves. Tables are not getting wiped down, so not a good place to unpack your laptop to work either.

Solid breakfast sandwich of bacon and eggs. Fluffy brioche bun. It’s busy but service is quick. Prices are as expected at airports

The bagel was good and the regular hot coffee was okay, it tasted a bit watered down. The prices were a bit expensive in my opinion. The staff were friendly, had good camaraderie, and worked efficiently. The staff did frequently have to tell people where to go for food verses coffee. This caused the atmosphere to be a bit louder than hoped at 7am. I was hoping for a quiet environment.

To start off all those bad reviews do not know what a good pizza taste like clearly. Came here at around 9 pm (MST) time. While waiting for my connection flight I saw this restaurant sold pizza so I decided to check the pizza out. Now when I saw the pizza it looked amazing so I decided to give it a try and order it. In the image below the pepperoni pizza and the butcher pizza is shown. When I tried the butcher pizza oh lord was I amazed this is no joke the first bite I took I felt like I was in another world with the taste of it. I dont know how to explain it but the pizza is fluffy but the crust is crispy, the temperature is perfect everything and I mean EVERYTHING about this pizza was spot on. I would most definitely recommend this place. Price was very good for airport prices. The service was great didn’t take any time to attend us and we checked out quick. And the overall atmosphere of the place is great not loud but not quiet.

I think it is the best restaurant inside security at PHX. I think their best is the simple salad with the chicken, but the place smells great and had nice seating. Staff will walk around when they get a chance and ask if you need anything just like you would expect in a restaurant inside town. Thank you! And appreciate the employee discount too!
