Olive Bistro Galleria Meze & Wine Bar

The only thing better than the food was the service! This is so excellent that we’re considering moving across the country to eat here again. I won’t visit Georgia without stopping by in the future. Try the Sultan, the hummus and grab a drink. You always know a good bar tender by their Negroni. Treat yourself and have a sip!

Such a beautiful spot…it was a bit difficult to find from the parking but once we got there it was worth it. We had the mimosa and the sangria for drinks which were really good. Had a joint appetizer , the hummus and their pita bread was so nice and fresh … our main meals were so delicious that we opted to order some extra meals for takeout for dinner! I’ll definitely be coming back! The manager and the server were amazing…. And definitely the chefs are the stars of our experience🥰🥰🥰! Thank you for the delightful experience . Next time we’ll definately try out desserts

Great service and location. I ordered the gyro and a salad. Good taste gyro, reasonable price. The salad is a little small for my expectations.

This restaurant is incredible. The food is absolutely delicious. I love the lasagna which apparently is a secret family recipe. My husband loves the falafel and lamb. The drinks and wine are great as well. The staff Jennifer and Nick are so professional and caring. We love this restaurant. They are also near the Cobb Galleria and are a wonderful place to eat before the Atlanta Ballet.

Yumm!! Went here for a girls night and the food was delicious! We wound up getting a bunch of apps and kebabs and just shared everything. A particular stand out to me was the labneh (pretty sure I spelled that wrong). Thick, tangy and so so good. It was my first time having it and I cannot stop thinking about it. I don't typically like tabouli (i am now realizing idk how to spell any of these dishes, lol) but theirs was fantastic. Very bright and tasty. The kabobs were well cooked & seasoned perfectly. The greek potatoes were another high point. You can tell by the plates what we thought of it all... I saw a couple of entrees I want to try so will definitely go back! Highly recommend. Ohh!! I almost forgot!! The halloumi was my favorite thing of the night! 10/10. No notes.

I usually really like this place. But this was the first time eating there since they changed locations. I could drop them to a 2 star or lower after the meal that I just carried out at their place. But perhaps every place has a bad night. So I’ll keep their rating for now at 5 star since they typically have really tasty food. But tonight the lamb kebab was dry and tasteless. The rosemary chicken platter was also dry and basically unseasoned (certainly no salt was used and just the smallest hint of rosemary). The side of potatoes was not cooked thoroughly. The fatoush salad was pretty mediocre too. The chicken kebab was really good though. I’ll give them kudos on that dish. The Tuscan beans also were really excellent. This was the first time getting their food for carryout, so perhaps it’s just not that type of place. Also, they had the incorrect/incomplete address on their website. It’s on South Galleria. Caused me to drive around for five minutes until I found the place using Apple Maps. Their Google page does have the correct address tho and they said they’d fix the address on their website. I do like their new spot and the decor is much much nicer than their old location. More upscale for sure. I’ll definitely give them another chance and adjust my rating on that dine-in experience. I hate giving small businesses less than a five star unless they’re rude or unpleasant. Everyone is entitled to an off night and admittedly perhaps the quality suffered due to taking the food out as carry out.

We used to love Olive when they were at their old location — it was one of our go-to spots because the food was flavorful, well-prepared, and consistently satisfying. Unfortunately, our visit to the new location was a disappointment. The overall quality just seemed to have dropped. Most of the dishes we tried lacked seasoning or flavor entirely. My husband ordered the lasagna, and while the portion was fine, it was bland and felt unsubstantial. I ordered the lamb chops, which had to be refired twice. When they finally arrived, they were closer to medium well than the medium rare I requested, and still completely unseasoned. We ate some of the food because we were hungry, but it was just lackluster all around. Even the atmosphere felt “off” compared to the warm, inviting vibe we remembered from before. This used to be a place we visited regularly, but based on this experience, it no longer feels like the same restaurant we loved. Truly disappointing.

Always delicious food and service. We started dining at this restaurant a little before the COVID-19 pandemic. This is my family's Saturday restaurant. 8-10-2025 Post (the original post was 2 years ago. We continue to dine at Olive Bistro every month since this last post. ) I couldn't write a new post, but wanted to share that over 5 years after this post, Kate's crew continues to deliver absolutely delicious food and service. My new dinner dish is the chicken ravioli in tomato sauce from scratch 😋!
