This restaurant is absolutely golden! It is a favorite amongst locals and I know why. The service is great and the food is too! After a very long drive, we stopped in and were accommodated fully on the porch with our tiny miniature puppy. I thank you greatly for this! I had asked for the redfish to be added to my otherwise vegetarian sandwich and it was an excellent creation! It actually brought joy to me. 🥰 We also loved the wrap, chips and the spicy dip is famous and famously yummy! Sitting on the porch is serene and the view of the trees is great. It looks s very convenient to find and has lots of parking. People also order and come pick up. It is great for either. If you want to stay, stay and enjoy the scenery and great service. If you want to pop in and take out, do that too! I could definitely see eating here every night or almost every day. I completely and unreservedly recommend! Drive over from wherever you are and get some foodie happiness 😊

Went today for my birthday. Very Delish. Got 1/2 Muffaletta poboy with side spinach salad. Came out with full poboy and lg salad , that s the way they do it there,

Everything was lovely had a little problem but the staff was so friendly and didn’t mind fixing the problem right away. Think this just might be my new lunch spot

Went here with a big group of girls, all with pretty complicated orders and the wait staff and kitchen team took care of us flawlessly! I had such a nice time on their patio area and the food was PERFECT! The serving size is very large so you get so much bang for your buck! Thank you guys for the wonderful night, I would definitely recommend.

This place gave off a very homely feeling. And to My Mom & I surprise there were a lot of young people working there. They all were bubbly and very, very, friendly. I can't remember the young lady's name who was our server. But she was very nice and sweet. The food was soooooo good. We had pasta. Trust me you get PLENTY for your money. Very nice place. The name of the pasta is Shrimp Carnival. It had shrimp, mushrooms, and eggplant in it. We also enjoyed their Hummus. It was my Mom's first time eating Hummus. She thoroughly enjoyed it. Super DELICIOUS!

Before an hour drive home we stopped at this quaint restaurant. We like to try new places and Olive Branch Cafe was our choice today. We enjoyed a "home" like atmosphere, with people saying HIi to each other and the servers recognizing repeat customers and greeting them like old friends! Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We had the Savory Cannolis as our appetizer, to try something new. It was delicious!! Served with pasta salad and marinara dipping sauce! I could have easily made this a meal for myself. For our entrees we had Wow Luau pizza and Meat Feast Calzone. Both were scrumptious!! Both had plenty of toppings, great flavor and perfect dough!! For dessert we shared Mini Canolis, so decadent! Prices were reasonable!

Had a great meal last time I was there. I live close by so this wasn't my 1st trip. Food has always been on point, service was outstanding. The menu has a lot of variety. Overall a great place to have some Italian fare.

Garden salad is full of veggies, peppers and olives. Artichoke manicotti is delicious. Cajun pasta is packed with the shrimps, sausage & tons of flavor. Hot food, attentive customer service & always leftovers. Treat yourself to some yummy down home Italian dishes.

Eating at the Olive Branch Cafe was a pleasure. The service was friendly and the wait time wasn't too long. However, it took a while for my dish to come out and there were mushrooms on a plate that was requested with none. The waitress was very communicative and friendly with us and our big party. The environment was small and felt super homie! Overall would recommend! DR.PEPPER RATING: 9/10 was Mr.Pibb

Food and services always great! I frequent displace at least once or twice a month. They have a great rewards program. The pizzas are made from scratch and are always fresh. You can have any of the pastas dishes with any type of pasta you want. I highly recommend this place best kept secret in Algiers

I ordered for the office for 7 people. 6 on 1 ticket 1 on another. I asked if they could write the individuals names in each order (as most restaurants often do this for us to help with the situation) and at first on the call she told me yes then after she got to my third or fourth order she tells me that she can't because they are too busy. She said it very rudely and I reminded her that she had just told me yes it wouldn't be a problem so why was it one now. She said that it was now a problem because someone else had asked and she already told them no. Not sure how that was related or how the other people would know what we did.

Great comfort Italian food. Dine in is available but I usually do takeout. Great pizzas, salads, pasta, and sandwiches. Service is great.

I have not eaten in the restaurant, but I ordered through DoorDash for the first time recently. I had tried the food years ago at a small get together and was told that one order of the food can feed a few people and it did that night. When I ordered on my own, we had the lasagna and the chicken parm. With a side of garlic bread. The food was fresh and the taste seemed very authentic, but I feel that the amount of food that we received was not enough based on the prices.

Everything here is good. The soup is great even on a summer day. The Italian salad is good. This week we had pizza and wings. They were delicious.

Love both of the locations, Gretna and Marrero. I live in the East Bank but Olive Branch Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat in the West Bank. The pizza and salad combo is a fabulous value and the ingredients for everything are like farm-fresh. Absolutely delicious! Thanks!

My college is just around the corner and this place is fast and convenient for me. Not only that, their food is awesome. I got the pasta togo and the portions are always pretty big. I've been going here since I was a kid and this place never disappoint.

Very tasty the spinach and artichoke manicotti is my favorite the garlic bread is awesome too! The service is great and they are pretty quick if you call for takeout! I definitely recommend this little neighborhood Italian spot if you are looking to support a local restaurant!

We run by here every once in a while and the food is always great. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it was so good. The portion was so big that i had enough for lunch the next day.

Came back to order the Margarita pizza. Wasn't a fan, felt like the pizza was underwhelming and bland.

Service was great. Food... not so much. Portions were a good size and we got BOGO half off pastas. Caesar salad - homemade Caesar dressing. It didn't taste like Caesar dressing. But I don't really know what it tasted like. My dude said maybe it needed more anchovy in it or something. But overall, not a bad salad. Angel hair and meatballs - too much breading in the meatballs that made it super mushy. And the sauce was very watery. Needed a lot of salt, as well. Came out warm, but not hot. Becky's pasta - sounded like an amazing dish so I had to have it! Came with red onion, shrimp, mushrooms. And it came out piping hot! Just the way I like it. But, it was super rich and not much flavor. Came with fried eggplant on top. That was very good and the breading was seasoned well. Garlic bread - it was basically a mini garlic cheese pizza. Was good to dip in the pasta sauces.

Rusty has some of the best food on General De Galle if you're looking for something good please come by or call for carry out. You will not be disappointed

Everything I have eaten from them is good. The Cobb salad is the bomb & so is their lasagna....

Enjoyed every bit of this meal! The service was great and the food came out hot and fresh! The shrimp and corn bisque was surely a fan favorite loaded with shrimp potatoes and corn don't cheat yourself try a cup! The pizza bites were also delicious along with the seafood bites! We enjoyed the chicken Parmesan sub! The bread was perfectly toasted and the chicken was grilled and covered in mozzarella cheese along with tomato sauce on top. It was the perfect combination of flavor. The meatballs and spaghetti sauce were also very delicious and the serving size was so hearty we had to bring it home. We couldn't help ourselves but try one of the desserts the cheesecake was a bit soft but it was still tasty.

Hidden gem on the Westbank. So many options to choose from and all fantastic. Went with a big group ranging in ages from 6 to 60 and everyone was able to get what they wanted (and loved it). Two types of crusts make for nice variety. Chicken Parmesan Pizza was different (and delicious). Slices are large but not obnoxious. Nice staff.

Great service and a cute small place. They have a small outdoor patio that is covered you can sit in when the weather is nice. They had lots of delicious sounding options. Opted for the meatball pizza and the special pizza which was beef Marsala. They have lots of different food options from pasta to baked dishes to pizza and salads and everything in between. So far we've had spaghetti and meatballs, the turkey bacon avocado sandwich, the shrimp and corn bisque, chicken and artichoke pasta, salads, etc....including some appetizers. In my experience and all I've talked to, everything is delicious here!

The cauliflower crust barbecue chicken pizza Is perfect. It's always hot and fresh when I order it. There's also a delivery option if you don't feel like Leaving the house.

This place is off the beaten NOLA path, but holy cow! Sooooo good! We had the pizza bites, shrimp Alfredo and manicotti -- I wanted to cry because I couldn't take all our leftovers (we were headed to a basketball tournament)! Dylan was attentive, funny and the best server I've had in a long time! If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Came here after seeing a coupon in some local paper. I've been here for lunch before and really enjoyed it, so i figured dinner would be pretty good too. We had some mix up with our meals (and a few other things), but the management took care of all of it right away! Seriously, they actually care about their customers and the food they make (all homemade). This will always be my go-to spot for Italian. Thanks for being so great guys!

The Olive Branch Cafe has become our go to lunch spot in Algiers since we are limited on good food options. We go here for our companies quarterly pizza days and get The Meat Lovers. Their pastas are pretty good, I recommend the Becky Pasta.

One of my favorite pizza places that sells more than just pizza. The food here is simply scrumptious. My favorite is the spinach and artichoke. If you haven't tasted the Cajun Courtbouillon you are in for a real treat, if ever it's added back to the menu.

Rude, obnoxious and will never order from them again. We had issues with our order ( we ordered take out) and called the restaurant to explain we were missing an item from the order. The person on the phone was so rude and argumentative. To make matters worse when I went in to pick up the Missing item from my order, the person at the counter ( who obviously answered my call) felt it was necessary to be snarky and to continue being a jerk in person. My husband and daughter are in the restaurant industry and I always treat everyone with respect because I understand how hard people work but my experience with the Olive Branch Cafe was terrible and uncalled for. Learn some manners and how to treat your customers.

I go here mostly just for this one dish that I can't get anywhere else. I have tried many other things on their menu. Some were good and some weren't my taste, but they have a big menu so it's impossible to like everything. I like the Spicy Trio Pasta so much that I usually end up just getting that instead of taking the risk on something new. The Spicy Trio Pasta and the Artichoke Pizza are my favorite things to order here. They deliver, which is why I eat here so often. You The service and staff are great. Whether you go in and pick up your order or get it delivered they are very quick.

Staff was so friendly! Wait time was essentially nonexistent. We had our appetizers within minutes of ordering them. The food was hot and fresh; the Hawaiian pizza was so good! Entrées included big portions and lots of cheese.

The other night I was having a pasta craving and after enjoying the spicy cajun trio pasta at the Marrero location, I decided to get the same thing here in "take out" form. First of all, it was really convenient to be able to place my order online. My food was ready in about 15 minutes and I was able to pick it up as soon as I got there. When I got the food home and started to eat it, something was off. It wasn't spicy AT ALL. Did they forget to add "spice" to the spicy cajun trio? Also, there wasn't nearly as much cheese as there was on the previous version I had, which was disappointing. Other than that, the dish was pretty good and there was plenty enough for two people (not that I was sharing. ha). I'll probably go back here and just chalk up the lack of spice and cheese to some kind of fluke.

This place is the cutest It's just about mile from our house and it's definitely a go to. My husband and I went just last week for lunch, I got the Mediterranean wrap which was to die for and he got the meatball sub. Before I could ask him how it was... it was gone! Quick service, kind employees, great food. Love supporting small businesses like this.

The food here is great, but some consistency with delivery is much needed. They randomly decide if they are delivering to my area (which is only 4 miles away in Algiers Point) and it changes every time I call. Very disappointing.

Tasty sandwiches! We had the Tuscan, which is a great vegetarian option. The fettuccine Alfredo is also good, large portion with lots of sauce. The garlic bread is more like a sauceless pizza, good but not what I was expecting. Great local restaurant.

I adore this location. Its smaller and out of the way and rarely ever super busy. The wait staff are fast and friendly. The atmosphere is just like the others have said, homey and cozy. Good place for a conversation. The quality is like the rest of the locations, very good! I love their pizza and the soup of the days...can never go wrong with them. I havent been in the evenings on a cooler night yet but would like to eat in the outside patio part one time.

The food is always fresh and delicious I love it. Guys,Spicy Cajun Trio Pasta my favorite is spicy seafood trio pasta with grill shrimp on top. Amazing

I like this place! I've had the pizza a few times and it is always good and filling. Really loaded down slices with lots of toppings. Their caesar salad dressing is also very good. Sometimes we get extra to bring home! Also the service here is so nice and friendly. I will be back.

I didn't enjoy the big onions and the complementary bread that came with it was very small. You get a lot of protein probably too much I normally prefer medium portion of proteins to my pasta. Artichoke and the chicken was cooked perfect the sauce was lite but the onions being so big instead of dice

Their pepperoni pizza might be the best I've ever had - the sauce is almost sweet, I love it. The Chicken Alfredo pizza is awesome too - very rich! My kids love the spinach and artichoke appetizer. Also, since they don't serve alcohol - you can bring your own bottle of wine! This place is great.

I got the small chicken pizza with cauliflower crust and it was pretty good. The only weird thing was the cheese, which got kind of stiff pretty quickly. Chunks of chicken were surprisingly large, so they don't skimp on portions. Service was pretty good too. Cleanliness seemed about average.

Wow! This spot was great! It was my first experience there while visiting family. The food was delivered faster than expected and was AMAZING!

If I'm craving for pizza or Alfredo this is where I go for the westbank area. On Wednesday, their pastas are buy one get one half off. I'm usually ordering take out from here and staff are always so friendly when taking my order. The portion of food is a pretty good size. The pasta dishes can be overly sauce sometimes so I usually order lite sauce but other than that they are always seasoned perfectly. Pastas aren't over or undercooked. Easy place to find with their own parking area.

This place is a gem on the Westbank!! EVERYTHING is very fresh and tasty. The meatball sub is seasoned well and the large salads are LARGE. Good pricing for what you get... my boss LOVES THE CANOLIS!!

Always AMAZING food. Hot, Fresh, More than you ask for. Great Service. I recommend the Becky's Pasta (add chicken) you can even replace the eggplant for fish! I alternate.

Best pizza on the West Bank, by far and THEY DELIVER! Anyone who lives in my neck of the woods knows that our pizza choices are limited. When it comes to delivery, we are limited to Dominoes and Papa Johns. I have tried at least 3 different pizzas here and they were all good. I also highly recommend the pasta. The Cajun Trio, Becky's Pasta and Meatballs and Spaghetti to name just a few. My review would not be complete without talking about the perfectly prepared and baked calzones - probably one of the best I have ever had. The service is always Excellent!! This place is a true gem. Enjoy and bonne appetite!!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Algiers. This is my go-to place to call and get food delivered when I have nothing to cook at home. This is the place I go to to get AWESOME food AND service! My usual is the pasta jambalaya and shrimp carnival pasta with a side of their known-for garlic bread/pizza and a fresh Greek salad. Go to Olive Branch Café! You'll be so glad you did!

Service is blah. Walked in was not greeted. Customer service was not good. Under cooked eggplant, no flavor and this is supposed to be a club sandwich. My people better.get it together...

I've been here for over three years and I've never been to this joint. Last night my buddy and I decided to try it out and let me tell you, they exceeded our expectations! It's a chill environment and it's got this mellow 'don't worry be happy' vibe to it. The staff were nothing short of professional and the food. The food was delish! My buddy had the meaty pizza (I think that's what it was called) and I had the carnival shrimp (TO DIE FOR!!). Highly recommended and I am definitely coming here a thousand times before I leave.

The level of respect, assistance and willingness to accommodate my requests that I received from Dylan, the FOH manager Sandi and the GM Shaun, was impeccable... the food as always, was delioushis, spot on, and you can tell, was made with love! I would and will, highly recommend this establishment to any and all... coming from a siciliano this speaks volumes..! Trust me, I was born and bred in NOLA and know good food as I have eaten at most establishments in the city and am very critical of the preparation, presentation and quality of food... to put it simply, they have the best quality food and customer service iv experienced in quite some time. Tasted like grandma's!!! And that's a very big statement coming from me. Forget 5 stars. 10/10!!! Thank y'all for everything and continuing to produce and provide outstanding food and service.
