The servers were great, very accommodating, nice, just great service!! Great service makes your food taste better!!! The food was good, fresh, and hot!!! The manager was amazing!! She came around to every table to ensure everything was good!! I truly enjoyed my experience here!!! I will definitely be back!! I had to drive over 35mins to visit this Olive Garden so that says alot!!

Came here when it wasn't busy got put in the peasants room with black drop ceiling and cold air and smudged up windows with boogers. I know this isn't a fancy place but if I'm spending over $100 to eat out I expect more. Also the dishwasher was so dirty and scratched up. Over all the salmon was really tasty but the presentation was awful and the service was just okay. The kids pizza tastes awful I think it's the marinara because they swapped it for the pasta with red sauce and it was the same nasty taste first batch of bread sticks were white and the second round was nice and golden. Consistency is everything in a place like this.

Had a horrible experience Monday night around 8pm. Our server was a female I’m not sure she even gave us her name just sat us down and walked off for nearly 10minutes, but when she returned as I was ordering food for both me and my boyfriend she kept asking him questions instead of directing the questions to the person who is ordering (me) she never repeated back our order to us which led to her having to take back two bowls of salad and even the third salad still wasn’t correct. We both were so over her antics especially after asking “are you ok” instead of asking both parties .. my boyfriend ended up asking for the manager who was very understanding

A very pleasant surprise! ​To be honest, I sometimes hesitate when it comes to large chain restaurants, as my preferences usually lean elsewhere. However, my visit to Olive Garden about two weeks ago completely exceeded my expectations. ​While the food was quite good and definitely a step above average (the breadsticks and salad are always a classic!), what truly made our meal outstanding was the service. Our server was fantastic—incredibly attentive without being intrusive, timely with every request, and genuinely friendly. It's not every day you get that level of service, and it made a huge difference. ​Because of this wonderful experience, I can confidently say I'll be back

Stopped in for some soup and bread. Only ended up ordering one bowl at the place due to poor timing. They entertained the idea of me "keeping my tab open" but settled on letting me take another bowl to go. Which is very cool of the staff! My issue is service was slow, and I sat next to dirty cups for half an hour. Someone drank and the bar, closed out, I arrived, and the cups were still there when I left after 30ish mins

Though they were quite busy, upon being seated, everything was amazing including the atmosphere, service, and meals.

It was my first time there and a 1 and done for me. The service was extremely slow, we had to ask for extra sauce for the pasta and the steak dinner was small for the price. My kids got full so that's what mattered most.

The food here is better than any other olive garden i've ever been to. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted better than i can even put into words, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Ivan was the most amazing server. He was quick and friendly, had our food out within 10 minutes of ordering, and was so attentive we didn't have to ask for ANYTHING. Drinks, breadsticks, etc. He brought out refills before we even realized we needed them. He even recommended what desserts we get, and man were they good. 10/10 experience. PS: If you're thinking about dessert, go with the Italian donuts :)

This location is pretty new. It is designed & decorated beautifully. It's always crowded when I come. The service is friendly & quick. But most of all, the food is good. There was a time that the breadsticks at all olive gardens were hard & dry. But the past couple times I've been here they are perfect. Warm, soft & buttery garlic goodness. I always do minestrone soup, salad, and breadsticks. Salad dressing is so good. I love the black olives. The minestrone is the only vegetarian soup. It's delicious.

We just got soup, salad, and breadsticks this visit and everything went amazingly. Server was on it! We got warm soft fresh breadsticks and soup refills with minimal wait times. Food was quality. We like this location. It is newer and very nice inside.

We waited 30 minutes just to order our food and we were some of the only people in the restaurant. This is our second time experiencing this and it has been very annoying. Definitely not coming here again until they fix the wait times and get better servers that actually keep checking up on you as you are there.

Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to eat. It's casual, relaxing, has good entree choices, and good service. We stopped here to grab chicken gnocchi soup , salad, and shrimp scampi (my favorite dish here) to take home. Every thing was hot and delicious!

This Olive Garden is by far the best location in the immediate region. It's new, it's clean. It's very aesthetically pleasing. The service is very consistent. The servers here go above and beyond. Like most locations in popular areas, you can sometimes expect a long wait, but if you go during a non-busy time, you'll get seated immediately. They have a very friendly team that goes above and beyond and the wait time is always reasonable and there is a lot of space to wait. The food is always quick and warm. Very enjoyable experience every time I've gone to this location!!

I was about to give it 4 stars as hard for me to give a chain restaurant 5 stars, but I can't think of one negative from our experience. Greeted promptly/friendly. Seated quickly. Service quick. Manager checked in on us. Food came out hot and after appropriate amount of time. Unlimited salad and breadsticks. Ordered from cheaper smaller portions section of menu (called piccolo portions - e.g. chicken parm $13.49) which was the perfect size for us - we didn't want leftovers as we were on a roadtrip. Clean bathrooms. Paid on the device on the table. Was able to print receipt from device. Plenty of room to park an RV between the Target and the Olive Garden.

We came in for a party of 30 people. Due to not being able to take reservations we were seated in 2 sections(20 people & 10 people). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I smaller portion lasagna. Our server Tristan was absolutely amazing. He handled the large party very well and kept a positive attitude the entire time. Great job to Tristan for excellent customer service!

I feel like you know what you are getting when you go to Olive Garden. Things I love 1) it's kid friendly - kids are given a paper menu with crayons 2) endless salad and breadsticks 3) service has always been good Is the food earth shattering? No, but it's also pretty consistent and to me pretty good. It does seem the portion size has decreased in the last few years but this is probably everywhere. It's clean and inviting. My family will keep returning.

Food was fine - I had the salmon. The part that bothered me was how rushed and careless the service was. Salad dressing was splashed all over the serving bowl, my salmon came out and was the same way. Sauce was literally splashed all over the plate and running over the edge. The kitchen just seem to be (literally) throwing food on a plate to get it out the door. After my server delivered my plate, I never saw him again

Food was beautiful. Service was amazing. Everyone seemed to love where they worked And my waiter was SO NICE! We are going back on Friday! Can't wait!

Ok let's start with the best thing on the menu. Those Italian doughnuts are fire. I mean fire. Definitely should start with those because at the end of the meal you are already too full but yet you must finish the doughnuts. Service was great and we were sat as soon as we got into the restaurant which was nice for a Friday evening. The salad and breadsticks are always good. The cheese ravioli was fine but the doughnuts took the prize.

Our waitress, Megan, was amazing. Food served promptly and hot. Delu ious soup, zuppa and gnocchi. We had the lunch specials, spaghetti and meatballs, baked ziti, eggplant parmesan, chicken Alfredo. Really liked the peach raspberry tea. Lots of salad and bread sticks. Overall all great service, with a smile. Constant check-ins. Place was full as well. Seated immediately. Great job.

I make better pasta at home. The food is mediocre. Add best it taste like you microwaved the food and then had it the next day. Service was good. The ambience was updated.

When this place opened, the quality of the staff was amazing but in the last year, they are very average. They just introduced a steak and pasta dish. You're lucky to get maybe 2 ounces of steak in it way overpriced not worth the experience..

Parking was ample. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The food was ok, not great. I was disappointed when I came in at 4:00 pm and was told I could not sit at a booth even though many booths were empty. The hostess said they were short handed. That should not have made a difference since the booths were only a few steps away. This was a bad start to my visit. The server was fine and attentive. Overall I was disappointed with my experience.

This Olive Garden is beautiful and parking is easy but that's about all I can say was good. We waited 15 minutes for drinks, 30 minutes for salad and breadsticks and 1 HOUR for our entrees. I ordered just the soup salad and breadsticks and asked for a refill of soup and it never came. Plates and empty bread baskets weren't cleared before entrees came. The waitress was nice but clearly overwhelmed and I guess the kitchen and bar were probably similarly short staffed but this was just unacceptable. Bathrooms were dirty with toilet paper and paper towels on the floors and even out in the hall. I also hate the stupid tablet things - the kids were fighting over it cause there is only one. They also charge you $3 if the kids play a game on it. I regret this night out.

Genuinely the worst experience I have ever had ever. The food literally took over 50 mins to actually get to our car with the food. The service from the people was absolutely unbelievable and the development of the app is overall incredibly stupid. They said the food would be done at 6:30 and just got it at 7:20. If you ever want to order here or use the app make sure you have a lot of time on your hands because I promise you will be needing it.

I used to often with my husband back In 1980s. The one in Lansing. The best atmosphere and best salad, soup, bread and entres, drinks and dessert. I went to OG in highland and it was the worst experience I had. Cheap messy salad and soup. The waitress was slow and didn't care She kept walking away for long periods, rude and brought us soup you wouldn't serve to a dog My soup had a big lump of chicken, one gnocchi and cold. Never again

Food and service was and is always great . There is just a few busters that I occasionally see whenever I go , but they always seem to mess around and not do work and just joke around leaving an older woman too do more work. And I don't think it is fair because i have seen them doing anything. I'm absolutely starting to get fed up with how these workers treat their other co-worker. ANd not once but multiple times my son's have said it smells weird in there. SO time passes and i think nothing of it but when im walking in walking down the hallway back is 3 boys laughing and when I walked in it smelt like marijuana and I seen smoke in the lights . But oftenly coming I think they're names are Alex and Pablo and then the other is an Amish looking kid.

Soooooooo where do I start..... this is a newer OG location and we all love a good endless breadsticks and salad right???? We tried to do dinner here on VDAY but the wait was 2:45......not sure WHOOO on their right mind would wait for that....needless to say we didn't stay..CULVERS got our VDAY money. Fast forward to 1 week later when we finally get to go. This time the wait was only 25 mins with a really nice cool waiting process when they text you when the table is ready. SO service was great...shout out to Felicia. The drinks were decent and the appetizer was fresh and SO good!!! Here we are now at the MAIN FEATURED PRESENTATION........5 minutes into the meal and KABOOM we notice a WHOLE PRICE TAG in the noodles....we both stopped eating and alerted the waitress..she was super nice about it and accommodated us with the bill and made a fresh one to go for us. OVERALL...it's another OG and you can't beat it for a quick dinner night.

Delicious soup, salad, and bread! Great service BUT.... The stinking Ziosk on the table was crap- I couldn't find the menu, games kept popping off and you couldn't get out of the screens and I inadvertently hit the gaming but and it charged me 3 $! Check your bill

It was very odd to be put on a waitlist to be seated, only to request a seat at the bar since I was by myself and then observe almost half the restaurant empty when I was seated. But other than that odd routine, I had a rather pleasant experience. The bartender took my order and easily served drinks to other guests without any problems. She managed to refill my unlimited soup and breadsticks and bring my entree out with very minimal lag time. My chicken marsala and fettuccine alfredo was passable, nothing amazing. Maybe it's been a while since I've had Olive Garden, but I remember the chicken having better texture and the alfredo more flavorful. A little overpriced in the grand scheme of things, but the service was quite good. I'll give them another shot and try something different.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I have NEVER made a review before, but this Olive Garden was so appalling I had to say something. I ordered the chicken gnocci soup and a salad, and my roommates ordered spaghetti, chicken alfredo, and a few other things. Our waiter was nice and time efficient, no complaints, but as soon as the food was eaten my stomach started hurting something fierce. In the car we were all complaining to each other, we were all in discomfort, except for the only male of the party who ordered chicken alfredo, as he made sure to say! That night I was sick, as well as the roommate who ate spaghetti. We were both sick for the next day, and it sucked. AVOID THIS PLACE! My compliments to the chef xx.

Always go to Lansing location but wanted to try this one since it's newer. Brief summary. Took forever to get greeted Get greeted... place drink order and water Wait And wait And wait some more Yippee we got water! Asks us if we're ready to "order" "Can we get our drinks"? I have to wait on the bartender! Oh ok. Can we get our salad and bread? "You'll get that when you place your order! Poof! Disappears So we drink some more water. Then left!!! Went to Lansing Ordered our own appetizer because now we're STARVING but we didn't need too because OMG here's our server!! Takes drink order Comes back with water Then drinks Hot fresh appetizer And guess what???? Salad AND bread before we placed our order !! Everything was ON Point @ Lansing Highland... coming from a server.... Train your servers better! *it wasn't even busy! Won't be back

First day opened and ordered online for pick up during dinner hours. Everything was perfect and ready on time, and food was delicious. Great Job !

On arrival no one at reception desk. Waiters and waitress walking by ignoring us. Finally get a table order drinks. My wife and I are on 44 yr anniversary. Waitress states my wife's drink is not available. Peach Bellini. I order a margarita it takes forever to come. I go to take a drink and a bug in it. Waitress apologizing just get me a beer. From then on food was good waitress was busy but not giving good attention.

My order ready time was 8:15 pm. We got there a for pickup and the employee brought out the food to the vehicle. After looking to the bag we found we were missing a spaghetti to go meal, so I took the bag into the restaurant to tell them it was missing. The employee went back into the kitchen and returned approximately 5 minutes later and informed me they were currently out of the spaghetti meal so I could wait or choose one of the two other options. My child wanted the spaghetti and I was ready to go so I asked for a refund. The employee went back into the back again and I was waiting again. She finally returned with a manager and I was told that she would have to go to her office and do the refund in order for me to receive a confirmation for my credit card purchase of the meal. At this point it was around 8:40 pm, our other food was getting cold and I was tired of standing there waiting for the "to-go" order that I had placed at 7:45 pm and was promised at 8:15 pm so I just asked the manager to give me one of the other options so I could leave. It seemed as though no one at the restaurant cared about the inconvenience they caused us.

The wait times at the Olive Garden in Schererville are terrible. The app shows a few minutes, but expect an hour. When they have tables available, they sit empty while customers wait. When we bring the long way to the attention of the manager, he said there's nothing he can do. They need new management who can run this place more efficiently.

Food was good and I had meal to go. The salad(included with the meal) wasn't packaged to go, I was told to get salad from what remained on the table. It was large group meeting that I was dining with

Olive Garden was a family favorite food destination when my kids were at home. Now my kids are grown and I haven't been to an Olive Garden since pre Pandemic. I took my sister and my youngest grown son to the Highland, IN Olive Garden yesterday and Oh My, how have things changed. First, many of our favorite items were no longer on the menu. The menu has been stripped down to the very basic bland, unappetizing dishes. We waited so long, over an hour after being seated to be served in an underwhelming crowd. We had to remind our server to refresh food and drink items numerous times. As we waited for our food we scanned the restaurant and discussed amongst ourselves that not a single person working at the restaurant had any sense of urgency or hustle. They wait staff shuffled around like zombies on weed. Even the bus boy sat down at the tables while wiping them off and ever so slowly. Our meal for 3 was just over $100, not including tip. It was the worse $100 that I've spent on food. There are so many other Italian choices in the NWI area. I won't be going back to this Olive Garden, or any Olive Garden with the unappealing limited menu items.

The location and parking is very good. But that is about all. Took 11 minutes to take my drink order. I was in the bar area, and there was another couple already there when I got there. Then after 17 minutes, I asked for a refill. After she walked by several times and saw my empty glass. I asked for breadsticks, and she asked if I wanted them now or with my meal? Weird to me, but okay. Then I got my meal after 35 minutes, and you guessed it, it was cold. By then I was out of my drink and never got another drink. I asked for one, but apparently talking to her coworkers was way more important. Never checked to see if my meal was okay. I finished, wanted cake, but for the love of all things holy, I didn't have that much time to wait. So paid by ziosk, and left. But she did throw 2 mints on the table as I was checking out. Bottom line, service was horrible! Especially for only having 2 guests. The food was cold. Nobody seemed to care. Not even the manager that walked by and looked.

For this being a new restaurant, I was very shocked with what I saw on my first visit. Dirty glasses, food left on utensils, horrible service, endless breadsticks were not true. Very disappointed. Disgusting.

They where picky as to where to seat us ,we wanted a both and they wanted to seat us at a table. When in the first room there were empty boths. I requested a both in the next room where you can plainly see empty boths and I was still directed to a half both and two chairs. Next time I will be a little more demanding. Thank you.

The service was. Kelly the bartender was great. My only complaint was the breadsticks was very hard on the bottom of them.

Yesterday was my first day dining in at this restaurant and everything was very good. Fast service of food. Great customer service!!

This is my 2nd time trying this Highland location. First time was a big mishap with the food. They sent me a gift card and i decided to try again. The salad dressing had no taste, and the croutons were stale. I ordered Ravioli with marinara because I do not like meat and what do i get, Ravioli with meat sauce. I never saw a server again to tell them I needed the correct meal. My partner just ate off my meal while i had the plain tasteless salad. Don't get me wrong the server was extremely nice but I did not get another visit to check on us or even a drink refil. I wanted to ask for the correct dish and a salad minus the stale croutons and better dressing. I will just go all the way to Merrillville if i am craving OG.

I was at Olive Garden in Hobart, Indiana last night with Jenni Weaver, Alyssa Smith and Matthew Gonzo. Every was great. From the atmosphere to the dessert. We were seated under the branches of an Olive Tree. All I could think of was a song by Elvis Costello. What IS so funny about peace, love and understanding? Other countries get it. Why doesn't the USA

This place is very clean. The service was unmatched. Manager George was great. So was our server Elijah

We tried this location since it was new. First of all people were waiting outside and we were told a 40 minute wait. Only way to be able to sit inside was if you did not bring your phone to be called. Once called I would say 50% of the place was empty. So basically no reason for people to be waiting. Staff was excellent. They skimp on the food and it was served warm. My friend ordered the angel hair pasta and was given spaghetti.

Great customer service was greeted at the door ! My waitress was Kelly she was so awesome :) i will definitely be returning !

They did a great job remodeling the place, but they have idiots running the place. Someone stops you at the front door to check you in and then sends you in when they are ready, but you go only to sit on benches to wait. the hostess walked us though the place and then walked us back to the front to sit on the bench and wait again. it was middle of the afternoon and tons of open tables. They need to reevaluate their hostess hires!

It was my first time going to this location and I know it's new BUT it was very disorganized and I know it was a Saturday that I went but they weren't really busy as others have been for a Saturday at 7PM. We ordered pretty much right away as we sat down and we ordered soups as well. We didn't get our soups till literally 1 minute (not joking) before our entrees came out. And our soups didn't even come with a spoon! I clicked call server and it was going off for a while.. then we realized our appetizer didn't even come out so we cancelled it. Lastly, my husband ordered a side steak and aside from taking long to get to the table it was cooked over more then we wanted but didn't want to wait any longer for a new one and then once he get closer to the center WAY TOO MUCH SALT. I tasted it and started coughing as soon as it hit my tongue.. and of course no server around to complain or even ask for a water. Not ever going back to this location.
