Yelp
Good twilight my fellow Yelpers,
I have 5-star review to give out today! The greeter was very monotoned and was slightly aggressive when telling us the wait time. We were 9th on the wait-list and was told it would be 30 minutes. It eventually only ended up being 5. We were seated in a very dark waiting area with modern and contemporary artwork. The couches were very comfortable. However, it was unnerving that a police officer had to patrol the restaurant. He seemed like a lovely man, but it made me a tad uncomfortable. The hostess eventually took us to our table, but the floor was loud, noisy, and very hard. Once seated at our table, we soon realized how cold the restaurant was. There was a good variety of games on the tablet, but you had to pay in order to play. Our waiter was very polite, kind, accommodating, and had no attitude. The time it took to receive beverages and appetizers was hardly anything. Approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds. I have never felt more welcomed by a waiter! I was so impressed by his excellent skills. The breadsticks were very warm and flavorful, but the cutlery was splotchy with God knows what. The soup was a little watery compared to other locations, but still rather good! The salad had a hidden banana pepper which burned my mouth. Although this is a family restaurant, there were far too many crying babies to have an enjoyable consumption of food. It took slightly under 13 minutes to receive our entrees. Rather impressive! Yet again, the server continued to impress as he turned out to be quite the comedian and cleared the table with ease. Although this is not the restaurants fault, we overheard other patrons disrespecting our hometown. We do not affiliate this incident with Olive Garden, but it is a shame it happened on its grounds. The server checked in a couple of times to ensure we were enjoying the meal. He even brought to-go boxes without us asking! Everything seemed to be smooth sailing until we looked up and saw the chandelier caked in dust. However, it was made up for when the server brought us mint chocolates. It made my day. It made my week. Honestly, it made my year. Upon our exit, they wished us a good evening. A truly positive experience.
