Multi-million dollar Olive Garden back on target for the Las Vegas Strip | Eater Vegas

"Planned for the third-floor, space 300 above the Las Vegas Strip’s first Target in the Showcase Mall, this national Italian-American chain is designing a large 12,564-square-foot restaurant with capacity for up to 413 guests and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the Park MGM. The interior remodel carries an estimated $3,750,000 construction budget with JM Stitt Construction listed as contractor, though details on how to access the venue and an opening date have not been released. Known for menu staples such as the “Tour of Italy” plates, the “Never Ending Pasta Bowl,” and unlimited soup, salads and breadsticks, the concept would be one of the few nationally recognizable dining brands newly locating on the Strip; its first local restaurant opened in 2008 on Sunset Road in Henderson. A multi-million dollar Olive Garden is headed to the Strip with never-ending pasta bowls and unlimited breadsticks | Eater Vegas

"Set to become the chain’s eighth local outpost on the Las Vegas Strip, the restaurant has filed paperwork to take over space 300 at the Showcase Mall (above Target at 3767 Las Vegas Blvd. S.); mall owners and the brand have not formally announced the move, but roughly $3,750,000 has been budgeted for the third-floor build-out and a debut is not expected this year. Founded in 1982 and grown to nearly 900 locations worldwide under Darden Restaurants, the ubiquitous Italian chain is a local favorite—frequently voted the region’s “Best Italian Restaurant”—and its valley locations continue to offer takeout, delivery, and limited-capacity full service. The menu is known for unlimited soup, salads and breadsticks, classic parmigiana and alfredo dishes, the “Tour of Italy” combination plates, and seasonal promotions such as the “Never Ending Pasta Bowl.” The planned Strip opening is being cited as further evidence that casual and quick-service dining will lead Las Vegas’s recovery." - Bradley Martin

This is hands down the nicest Olive Garden I have dined at. The staff was friendly and the food was very quick. For being located on the strip, this is a great place to eat great food without breaking the bank. I wish I had taken more photos of the overall location.

We enjoy this location every time we visit Vegas. This time, we tried a new dish, the cheese ravioli with shrimp and it was very good. It was our first time being served by Vanessa, and she was so happy and friendly. Thank you for making lunch so enjoyable.

Hungry and walking along the strip, we stumbled into this Olive Garden and had one of the most affordable meals in all of Vegas we got the unlimited soup with spaghetti and meatballs and upgraded the pasta to a lunch portion. we left super full and satisfied and the meal only cost $22 and was 100% enough for both of us, astonishing prices for the strip the servers were really nice too and we had a decent view of the strip below outside the windows 100% recommend

As I was after an Italian restaurant and randomly picked this one. Well, surprised! Everything felt just right. The food was excellent, and service was perfect. And thank you for the birthday donuts. They are delicious!! I particularly like the breadsticks. So good!!!
