Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

We really enjoyed everything! This is a great spot for large family lunches or dinners with friends. The prices are reasonable, and the food quality is excellent. I had the salmon with broccoli, which was delicious. The kids had the Chicken Alfredo, and we ordered calamari rings for an appetizer. They also bring out plenty of free hot garlic breadsticks and salad to start, which is always nice. I also appreciated that the staff kindly made a sugar-free version of my Margarita. The only downside is that it gets very crowded with long lines. To get a table, you definitely need to join the waitlist 45–60 minutes in advance.

This location is convenient. There’s a lot of shopping near. We went on a week night. We were seated right away. Service was fast. Shyanne did a great job taking care of us. The food was good as always.

My husband and I were on a date and Kristine was our waitress today! She was wonderful, and really left us in a great mood. She was attentive, funny, and checked in on us regularly. The food was amazing, and overall added to a wonderful experience.

So very disappointed today. We got seated at our booth and nobody came to us to ask about drinks for about 10 minutes. Mind you in the section we were siting there was one other couple. Not busy at all. Plenty of employees standing around talking. So I just used the table kiosk to order drinks and apps. No biggie. Then the waitress came and acted surprised that nobody had come to us even though she was our waitress the rest of the time. Ok got apps/drinks ordered main entrees w/salad. Never got salad, never got breadsticks, and my plate was missing part of the dish. I spoke to the manager and let her know everything and she said she will speak to the employees. I completely understand mishaps but not for every moment of the visit when its not even a chaotic service time. Not asking for anything for free but just to pay attention please.

Best experience ever here! Unfortunately they were short staffed but that didn't take away from the amazing service! I I only took notice because there were no food runners today and my amazing server was doing everything. He was fast, efficient and professional. He remembered my detailed order as I have allergies and he crushed it with my order. Also kudos to the chef who made the most amazing mushrooms added to my dish! Hella recommend this location. Shout out to Jodi he crushed it! Thank you!!!

This location is very clean and welcoming. Service is great. Greeting at the door could have been better. The food is a little pricey for what quantity but it is good. We will be back. This is a great place for friends and family to meet up and have a nice meal

This is definitely the place to go on a buffet with a bigger group. Unlimited soups/salad AND breadsticks?! I’m sold :) Must try the chocolate lasagna it was so good! The entrees were delicious as well but unfortunately I didn’t have the room after the amazing soups and salad. I will admit though, as friendly as the staff is it took a while for our table to receive items (drinks and food) on a slow Tuesday night. I do admire our server though for checking up shortly after receiving everything.

To keep it brief and simple, I’ll categorize it. Server’s Attention: The attention we received from the server was great. The lady mainly responsible for us was not only friendly and polite, but very attentive and responsive for whenever we needed something. Food: I have to be honest here, I had underestimated the food’s taste and quality. I was quite impressed by it, and found my main plate to be quite delightful. I am with no doubt ordering it again when I go back. Environment: A detail I enjoyed was the music, given how it was loud enough for others not to overhear your conversations, and quiet enough for you not to get annoyed by it. It feels like a clean place overall, though the ceiling could be given some extra attention for sure. Bottomline: I would suggest you to give this place a try. Everyone’s experience will be somewhat different, but I personally did really enjoy it and feel like we were properly served. On a side note, the lady who checks you in wasn’t as friendly as I would’ve expected the first person you see to be, but she wasn’t rude either. As for the hosts and servers, they were quite nice, truly no complaints about them. Note: Get yourself the “Tour of Italy”! It has three different elements which allow you to enjoy your plate and not get bored of a single flavor.

What an absolute nightmare. Took nearly 40 minutes for us to get appetizers, drinks took 20 minutes. Food was average at best, lukewarm, and I had to send it back. Will not return to this location period.

Well.... Hostesses weren't very sociable. In fact, I'd say uninviting. Seating was cramped and not made for adults.... Or children over the age of ten. Our server, who also doubled as bartender, was pleasant, friendly, and expedient. Appetizers, entrees, came out fast and hot. Dinner for four included, shrimp misto, spinach dip, chicken gnocchi, chicken parm, shrimp Alfredo, fried mozzarella, and five cheese ziti. Chicken gnocchi was a bit bland. Chicken parm was unseasoned. Shrimp Alfredo and Misto was delicious. Ziti was fair. Mozzarella and spinach dip was yummy but you can't really mess that up . Accompanied with salad and bread, we were left stuffed and mostly satisfied.

I don't know why people rank this Olive Garden so low. You know you are going to Olive Garden which is a chain restaurant so you know what is expected of the food. The staff here has always been great to me and my family. Olive Garden is always generous when it comes to the salad, bread sticks, and entree. We get the calamari and for my entree I get the choose one pasta for less than $15. I honestly think you can't beat the price, plus I always have extra for another meal.

We always have a great time at Olive Garden! It has been a while since we had come down here and the food was delicious. The bread, the salad and our orders: Pasta carbonara, Skimp Shrimp and some lasagna were just so good. Our server was nice and kept checking if we needed anything. My little one was very young and was ofc trying to do everything except being at the table, everyone around was so understanding about this and I just appreciated the ambiance was families having dinner with their kids and due to that, I definitely want to come back.

So it's been several years since we came here for lunch. Much was the same and that's a good thing. The salad is always great and fresh. The bread sticks are always hot and fresh. My wife was not happy because she was gnocchi and forgot that they only do it in a soup form. She ended up getting angel hair pasta. She was disappointed. I just did the soup and salad. I got the soup that had potatoes and Italian sausage which was impossible to find in it. It also lacked much flavor. The server was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was the same and that's ok.

KILLED BY TARIFFS We have always enjoyed the Italian 'Rita's that they used to serve with a generous shot of amaretto. They shouldn't even use the same glasses if they are going to short shot to this extent. I guess the tariffs are hitting Italian imports. The salad that was a bountiful offering now barely serves two. The shrimp frito misto is now lots of fried peppers! Nothing to take home and snack on for sure. Oh and whatever you do take a pass on the new STEAK ALFREDO dish!! Five kinds of yuk!! The blue cheese is super salty and someone had the bright idea to add something like BBQ sauce to an Alfredo dish! Yuk yuk yuk. Olive Garden is no longer a value we won't be back until there ... well we won't be back.

I've always had consistent service here. The pasta can be hit or miss but the soup, salad and breadsticks are always a great go to. The kids enjoy the basic offerings available to them. I think their Alfredo with the fried chicken or any Alfredo's are what I usually go for or the spaghetti and meat sauce.

My family and I went to the Round Rock, TX location in celebration of my niece's 12th birthday. Olive Garden is her favorite place. It was super busy so we had an hour wait which was expected for a Friday night. Once we were called, you could not tell they were busy. Our waiter, O'Neal, came over right away to take drink orders and bring waters. This guy was a whole vibe! He was professional, attentive, engaging and pleasant. I also need to add patient because we can be alot lol. I can't say enough about him! The food was really good, and came to the table fairly quickly. The wait staff even came out to sing "Happy Birthday" to my niece which she loved! The service all the way around was outstanding! 10/10 hands down!

My boyfriend and I went to Olive Garden and told our waiter Alex it was my boyfriends first time there. Alex made our experience an amazing one! He suggested dishes for us to try kept the breadsticks refilled at all times. Very respectful and nice. Helped us pack our food up, kept our drinks and food refilled brought us extra chocolates! Overall amazing experience he brought such a positive attitude towards us and engaged in conversation with us. Give this man a raise please

My daughter and I on an off chance stopped here for dinner after shopping. The line was long, so we decided to eat at the bar. THANK GOODNESS because we met Johnny, the bar tender. He was amazing! He brought our food, and it was so delicious, but it was his personality that really made our experience the best. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the drinks, and he created a very fun and friendly ambiance. Now I know not everyone likes to go to the bar but, if you do, or just want to try, go see Johnny! We can't wait to go back again!

Don't use pickup or home delivery. My experience is they WILL screw the order up. Apparently, feedback about OG's poor service isn't welcome. I wouldn't give a bad rev before trying in earnest to resolve issues. I won't be going back and certainly will not order delivery where Uber driver delivered to the wrong house and wouldn't stop when flagged to correct the mistake.

Been wanting to come here for a while now. Amazing chicken Alfredo and breadsticks. Love the service 10/10 would try again and I am very surprised that this has such a low rating.

Disappointing! We had a reservation for a large group, arrived, and they were not ready. When the tables were ready, the server seemed annoyed with us. I realize we had elderly people with us, but we could have done without the attitude. The food was adequate, the bread sticks were abundant, but the drinks weren't monitored closely enough to keep them full. Some of the checks were incorrect (charged full price instead of lunch price). The manager stepped in to try to resolve the problems, which, sadly, was a challenge. We will not be back.

I'll update my original review and add a star. The service has really improved here my past two visits (my kids still love coming here, so I have to appease them once in a while). The food is OK. It ain't Tuscany, people. I think you just adjust your expectations, go with what you know (I do like their salads and soups; my kids love their spaghetti and breadsticks, and it's still not a bad deal to go for lunch). I have also ordered some of their $6 to-go meals and found they make for an easy dinner option. The menus and tables could use a deep clean/solid wipe-down, but for the volume of people who probably come through here, I feel like they're doing a pretty decent job.

My friend loves to go to Olive Garden when she's visiting from abroad so agreed to go despise my distaste for the food chain. And I will never go back again. The waitress smelled of heavy smoke which made me lose my appetite and the food was not up to par. It tasted old and just as I described, food chain flavor like an old cafeteria. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and friend had the shrimp Alfredo. Very disappointing.

It was an Italian night for us. Olive Garden didn't disappoint us at all. The food was ordered to go and was ready within 3mins of me checking in. Food was hot and tasted great. The chicken dumplings soup is to die for. Chicken Alfredo very tasty and saucy. Chicken Tortinni Alfredo well seasoned and melts in your mouth. The food was more than I expected to get. Staff was courteous and energetic. Definitely adding Olive Garden to the rotation.

Bad service today on Mother's day. Food was cold and got billed twice for a kid's meal that I realized when I left. Server was wearing a hand brace and reassured us so many times she would make sure we would get billed correctly only to get scammed. I was charged the desert I was supposed to get free for my bday and they could only refund me with a gift card. I think I'll stay with the Olive Garden on Lamar.

We haven't been to an Olive Garden for at least 10 years. We wanted some comfort food and there we went. It was surprisingly good. The bread sticks were yummy as we remembered. The salad was immense that came with my Chicken Tortellini Alfredo. The Alfredo was also surprisingly good. I was a cook for the former Red Tomato in Austin in the 80s and I KNOW Alfredo. And Tortellini. Our server was so very nice and fast. Refills, checked in a reasonable amount, and when we requested to go boxes she brought us an entire bag of hot and fresh bread sticks and a fresh minestrone soup to go (my partner had the soup). Amazing. There were lots of big tables and all seemed happy. There was one table behind us that had an issue with chicken and the manager handled it well. To be honest they just seemed to be grouchy and wanted a free meal. Still, the manager reacted professionally and kindly. This is close to 5 stars but something took it down .5 if that's possible. The food bunched up where the appetizer, salad, and food arrived very bunched together. That caused the food to get cooler as we ate the appetizers. I would recommend moving a bit slower and bring out the "courses" as they are finished.

Today, I placed an order for pick-up from this location. And as many folks know, I lived in Sicily for many years and do not under any circumstances consider what this chain offers to be "Italian food" but food that likes to call itself Italian (to make it feel special). I ordered two spaghetti with meat sauce for Thing One and Thing Two and I ordered a shrimp scampi for myself. Spaghetti with meat sauce- Welp, I'll put it like this; Thing One who spent his early years in Sicily passed on this entree. He is truly a spaghetti (and food truck) expert and this was not up to par for him and thus, he decided to give his portion to Thing Two. I tasted the sauce for this dish and it was flavorless and tomato paste was used for the sauce as opposed to fresh tomatoes. Neither one of us were pleased with this menu item. Shrimp Scampi- I'm not sure why I thought this dish would be different that the other. It was tasteless. The garlic was absent in the scampi. What is shrimp scampi without the garlic and butter? Salad- This was my favorite part of the order which was unfortunate as its just a salad. I am a fan of most any salad or wrap. I actually had my own Olive Garden dressing as evidenced by the photo that accompanies this review. What was most impressive was the way that salad was packed. The to-go container had individual sections for the croutons and the dressing. Overall, this was a less than adequate meal. However, I really didn't expect it to be anything more than what it was.

The food was delicious as usual. The service was mediocre because the server only asked one person if they wanted cheese on their food. But put cheese on everyone's food. Finally the ambiance was good so definitely recommend this restaurant. Make sure when ordering anything with Alfredo or cheese expect A LOT! otherwise good food.

Went to the north Austin location for lunch and ordered eggplant parmesan. So disappointed! They must have cut the eggplant with a really sharp mandolin to get it paper thin! All breading and sauce. On top of that the waitress really pushed swapping out the spaghetti for the fettucine alfredo (with $3 upcharge which she of course didn't mention). It didn't even pair well with the eggplant.

This is one of the modern looking Olive Garden's on the inside. Very clean with high ceilings. No wait on a Friday night. Back in Illinois, this restaurant would be at capacity. So, long story short, I ate myself to sick. Well, I had 3 bowls of the soup. I normally have 2 bowls (one minestrone, and one pasta fagioli). The pasta fagioli was so good I had 2 bowls. Bread sticks were fresh. It was just too good to not keep eating. My daughter had pasta and meatballs. She ate most of it. The biggest thing we noticed though was how lightning fast the service was. The waitstaff seemed to anticipate perfectly the timing of our needs. Pasta and soup were brought to us in under 10 minutes - maybe even 5. Can't wait to go back.

I must say I'm not a big fan of olive garden.But this one was really nice and the bartender actually made a good old fashion . I got the eggplant parmesan and surprisingly it was delicious. The restaurant was tucked away in a nice little area of texas.

Great salads with good dressing. I could live on that alone. Solid selection of pasta varieties and flavors. The introduction of some new dishes with a variety of flavors could spiff the menu up substantially. Increasing the portion sizes would also help. 5

I will never step foot in that place again. It was my daughter's friend's birthday. As we were being seated, I noticed they were putting us at a table in the middle of the floor, but I asked if it would be OK that we move to a booth? He said sure no problem Then a little bit later, another host brings a group of people over and they realize we're sitting there. After they finally get the situation under control the lady with way too much make up walk by my table, rolling her eyes and making dirty looks at us. I was confused so when the manager was passing by, I told him I apologize for sitting here, but if there's a problem, let me know and we can move. He said it was fine. As we were waiting for our food Somebody kept dropping plates next to us which a piece flew upon our table, but nobody came to say anything or apologize. A little time pasts and I asked him in private if they can sing happy birthday to her. He said yes I have something special. Now previously they had all the waiters over there saying happy birthday to someone else. I thought he was going to come out and do the same but he didn't. He just wrote happy birthday on a plate and gave us our desserts and walked away little bit later somebody else had a whole bunch of waiters come out and sing them happy birthday to them. She asked me why don't they want to sing me happy birthday? I didn't understand either, but I paid my bill and left. I don't think people deserve this type of treatment. When you go and spend $170 on mediocre pasta, please don't treat people like shit. And shame on management for not addressing the issue when I brought it to him.

They are to slow at "pick up!" We had to go inside! Food was just sitting there! Then offered to put two drinks in a large bag loose!!! "All sorts of jacked up!!"

There was a server by the name Yisha who gave my family of seven and I an amazing experience! Not only was Yisha patient and attentive to all of us, he was full of energy, charisma and life which allowed my 12 year old niece's birthday dinner the be the greatest so far. Highly recommend this location highly recommend Yisha for a promotion to train others

Truly terrible. HOW does this place stay in business?! We ordered fried ravioli. Honestly, it was inedible. It tasted days old, over fried and dry...disgusting. Then the soup was lukewarm, at best. Dumplings IN the soup were half raw. Disgusting. Ugh. The angel hair pasta was okay, barely. At least it was hot. Just....no. Never ever again. We only went because we had a gift card. Even the bread sticks sucked, and they used to be okay. Don't waste your money.

I had lunch here yesterday. My servers name was Raktik. My whole experience was amazing. I ordered each of my dishes to be customized to my preference. Every dish was perfect. From my salad with no cheese or croutons or dressing, to my gluten-free pasta, to my extra oil and vinegar. I had a glass of Chianti wine, which was quite tasty. My son had calamari and gnocchi. He loved his food also. My son asked for a cherry Coke, which they do not have on the menu. Our server personally made him a cherry Coke himself. Now THATS good service!! The ambiance Is very nice. This would be a good place for a date. I know I will be back several times. Thanks for a fabulous lunch experience! I highly recommend this restaurant.

the only reason im giving this location one star is because our server was ok. the service wasn't anything special. everyone seemed ready to go no one was at the front to greet anyone. my family and I had to walk around the front to find someone by the registers talking to a group of employees... annoying. the girl that asked how many were in our party/group was rude af. if I was a teen again, I'd have more to say but she was blessed this evening to not catch any typa hands.

Kayla restored my faith in good service today! I really haven't had that level of service in a long while, which prompted me to write this review. I had two tea incidents within the past week, including getting the wrong drink and begging for refills - I never had to mention to Kayla that I needed a refill or when I was ready for soup. She is a gem to the restaurant, and I hope to see her again soon!

I typically avoid dining in restaurants these days because the service is horrible but let me say I am writing this in the parking lot as I just finished my dinner lol both the host and hostess were so kind, smiling and greeting everyone. The food was as expected, Olive Garden does not disappoint as you always know what you're getting. But it's the service that creates the experience for you-- my waiter Christian was highly attentive and so so sweet, there was not a moment I had to ask for anything. Thank you to the kitchen staff, the pleasant host/hostess and the amazing server.

Came today with my son since he loves the bread sticks from here. We had a nice lunch, I was glad to see that they're including more options on the menu. I ordered the zucchini noodles with chicken and salad. I couldn't eat the whole portion, but I was happy with the choice. I also ordered the ice cream sundae for my son, which he really enjoyed. The service was great, can't complain about it. We did have to wait to be seated, but it was all good, the place really gets packed every day during pick hours such as lunch and dinner. I usually like trying local places and more authentic restaurants, still this is a good option for groups and when you have kids. There's always something for every taste

Delicious food always. Service is good whenever I go. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Green apple moscato sangria is amazing.

We attended early (4:30 pm) on July 10 for my mother's 81st birthday. There were 8 of us. Initially there was a problem since we didn't have a reservation, even though the website said there was no wait. They initially said it would be 30-45 minute wait even though there was no line. They resolved it, and we were seated in about 10 minutes. This is where the story gets good. Our server, Prince, was perfect. He took wonderful care of all of us and somehow make my mom feel extra special. We never wanted for anything. His wine service was perfect was well. His smile was genuine and he seemed to really enjoy his job! The food was excellent. All of us at the table were older, and had one time or the other worked in the service industry. We all began to realize about 2/3 of the way through that we could be about to experience the perfect dining experience. A rare find in the post Covid times. The potential for disaster arrived when I informed the server we had brought our own cake and party supplies. Prince handled that like a pro too. He soon arrived with a glowing cake and accompanied by 5 of the most handsome young men in the place. Now, I'm not one for the birthday song in restaurants, but these guys were great and absolutely delighted my 81 year old Birthday girl and the rest of our guests. If you need a perfect night out at Olive Garden, you have to have the perfect server, Prince.

Worst service the server who served us has lot of attitude..food was good all other stuff was good

The whole dinner was a disaster. Hard breadsticks. It took forever to order and waiter kept disappearing into the back, then we he did come out we had to flag him down because our child still hadn't gotten his food and we needed refills on soup, drinks etc. What a waste of time and money! We won't go back! Ghetto!

That place smelled like a foot. Hard to eat food in that environment. Get rid of that carpet OG. Not going back. Plenty of better Italian options elsewhere.

We wanted to go for a family lunch before back to school and decided on Olive Garden. We came at lunch time and had a 10 minute wait. The server/waitress was extremely nice and professional. She was very accommodating to our little ones. My kids enjoyed the buttered noodles and Parmesan cheese with fries. I tried the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta and tomatoes/asparagus. The bread sticks and salad were amazing as always. It's a great sit down family restaurant with lots of options for kids and adults.

Good food and service at reasonable prices. Nice decorations not overly fancy just modern. 4 star for consistent quality.

Perfect comfort food after moving! We got the meals to go & it is a lil pricey, but so so good. Also they did a great job on presentation. Well boxed and salads were amazingly fresh:D

Passing through and wanted to grab something to eat so we decided to give this Olive Garden a try hoping that it still had the original breadsticks. We had our fingers crossed that the breadsticks were the original ones and they were kind of - the bread taste a lot better and closer to the original ones but they rubbed a different olive oil or something but not too bad they were good. We all had salads and our entrees were spaghetti/meatballs with meat sauce, raviolis with meat sauce and the tour of Italy all of them were super delicious!

Food? So/so Service-7 Ambiance-4 If you are looking for fine dining... no! If you looking for something outside of fast food because your sick of it? Sure.

I really enjoy a relaxing lunch here during the week. I can get some work done, chill, and not be rushed. Bryan is great as a bartender; always chatting about what is going on in his life and if he needs some "big sis'" advice. Food always fantastic. I love coming in. Keep it up peep-ers!

I ordered the spaghetti marinara off the kid's menu ($4.99+tax excluding the drink) and added grilled chicken topping ($1.50). I usually order off the kid's menu when I go out since the adult portion sizes are usually too much food for me. The portion size of the kid's spaghetti was plenty of food to fill me up. The bread sticks never disappoint, as was the case during this visit. My friend had the adult lunch lasagna classico ($9.99+tax) and he said it was good. It included a salad and bread sticks. We were promptly seated during lunch time, and the food came out quickly. Our server was very nice, and they keep the place clean. There was plenty of parking. I will return and recommend this Olive Garden location.

I online ordered takeout here today. Fast service. Food still hot when I received it. My call got answered when I called in to tell them I arrived for carside service. The wait for payment was a little l ok nger than expected. Two more cars came as I was waiting for card to be processed. Overall great service that allows for speed and processing of cards and customers. This place is a great way to satisfy your craving for Italian food that comes out hot and fast! Would definitely recommend this Olive Garden's caddie service for anyone who needs to grab their lunch and go

We came on a Tuesday, so the place had little business. The host told us the wait would be around 20-30 minutes, but it was only 7 minutes that we actually waited. The first server came and informed us that they are understaffed, which everywhere is, so she took our drink order. We got our drink not too long after, but not as quick as expected. Our server took forever to take our food order and get us a new salad/soups. Other than that the food was good. It wasn't amazing but alright.
