Boredom-Busting Chain Brooklyn Bowl Will Activate Buzzard Point | Eater DC

"Members of a far-right militia dined at the Olive Garden in Vienna, Virginia, just hours after storming the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021; their dinner cost $408.82 according to a credit card bill tied to the Oath Keepers’ bank account, though prosecutors did not disclose what they ate." - Tierney Plumb

The dog days are officially over, transitioning from Mediterranean dining to the savory season, and I had a taste for Italian fare this evening. My go-to choices are Pazzo Pomodoro (Vienna) for premium casual dining, or Bellissimo (Fairfax City) and Roberto's (Vienna) for fine Italian dining. But I decided to take a chance on Olive Garden, a casual dining option, not expecting it to reach elevated flavors and at a much lower price point. I haven't been here in decades. Though the location is at the congested intersection of International Drive and Leesburg Pike, the restaurant is surprisingly easy to access because of its corner location and ample parking. The hostess and server were efficient and professional. I found the atmosphere relaxed, and the restaurant was notably clean. I ordered minestrone soup, spaghetti and meatballs, a glass of the house Chianti, and I asked about getting some ciabatta or other rustic bread. The minestrone soup was light and bland. The bread looked like miniature baguettes, but the interior was soft and smooth, seeming to be made of highly processed white flour. Somehow, garlic was incorporated into the crust, which I found unappealing. I took one bite and pushed it aside. The meatballs and spaghetti were also bland but not as dull as the minestrone soup. The Chianti was passable, and it would have been more enjoyable with ciabatta.

Very large, clean restaurant. Everything is reasonably priced. Service is attentive. Large servings, free drink refills. Lots of free parking. Lots of bread sticks. Comfortable seating. But the salad did not seem fresh and the food was bland. ♿️

A waitress name Catherine was the absolute BEST! So helpful and so kind. I wish other waitresses had this level of energy and attitude. Ill def come back because of her. Absolutely wonderful experience. ❤️

Google
Just your average Olive Garden experience. The food was good. Service was not bad. The set up of this particular olive gardening is not very inviting. The food was brought out at a slightly like warm temperature. Overall, we had a fine experience and everything tasted fine. Olive Garden is super affordable and we love the all you can eat breadsticks.

Google
Eh, server made us feel like we were a bother. Very transactional and the first thing he asked us was “ready to order?” Could’ve gone to a fast food restaurant instead and gotten a better attitude. Unlimited salad and bread was nice but doesn’t fully compensate. Dry cake but will taste good if you like sugar. Also weird atmosphere. So much open space with NPC families. Big portions though so the value is fine if you don’t include tip. Also not very accodomating, server didn’t even know some of the things on the menu. The menu isn’t big.

Google
Olive Garden has always been one of my favorite go-to restaurants. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal with family or friends. I absolutely love the breadsticks — they’re always warm, soft, and impossible to stop eating! The pasta dishes are consistently delicious, with generous portions and great flavor. Whether it's the classic fettuccine alfredo, the lasagna, or their seasonal specials, I've never been disappointed. Plus, the soup and salad combo is a nice option when you want something lighter. Definitely a reliable spot for a satisfying Italian meal.

Google
Ordered the new menu item of steak tips and shrimp. And an all-time favorite 5 cheese pasta. Spice sausage soup was great as usual.

Google
I used to be a fan of Olive Garden but lately I have had only bad experiences here. The servers are just running through the motions... no genuine smiles, no desire to be there. The food is mediocre at best. The sirloin tips and shrimp bucatini is horrible. Skip this place or at least this location if you're a fan of the franchise.

Yelp
Great experience at Olive Garden! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Big thanks to Mr. Brayan for being so kind and attentive -- he really made our visit special!

Yelp
Service was good. Place has many rooms and is very clean. Seating was comfortable. Prices are right. Parking is easy. But I did not like the food very much. Salad seemed old and the main dishes were bland and heavy.

Yelp
Finding the parking and the entrance was a bit tricky, but we eventually made both. Craving for a light lunch on Friday, we went for Olive Garden. We met the hostess that led us to our table before we were served by attentive staff. We went for 2 lunch courses were you can choose salad or soup as a side. Salad and soup came fairly quickly together with warm bread. The taste was ok, but the salad was dashed with to much dressing and salt? Bread was warm, also salty to a point where the main courses didn't taste anything maybe because of the massive salt taste prior bread and salad? Our waiter was busy juggling with many customers at the same time, and seemed a bit tired. But, we got our food and he was very efficient. The Alfredo with added broccoli and eggplant pasta tasted good though...

Yelp
Ive always wanted to go to Olive garden to see what the hype of unlimited bread sticks is all about, and man was I impressed. Long story short I LOVE OLIVE GARDEN! They just keep asking if you want more soup salad and bread sticks along with with your pasta haha. I could survive on soups salads and bread sticks alone!!! The service just knows people love the bread sticks. Did I mention I love olive garden bread sticks? Must go back. I've been missing out on unlimited breadsticks.

Yelp
WHAT I ATE - Virginia @ Olive Garden, Leesburg Pike, Vienna VA Olive Garden is one of those understated go-to places when we don't feel like cooking, but want a hot meal with a number of items without going to a buffet. The decor has a nice Italian Wine Bar vibe to it, and it is always clean. The never-ending soup, salad, and breadsticks are a welcome starter before any of the tasty entrees. Sometimes, that's all we'll do for a lite supper. The salad is simple, but crisp and fresh. The four soups offer a variety of tastes for your mood or weather; Pasta Fagiole, Minestrone, Zuppa Toscano and Potato Gnocchi with Chicken. The meat sauce is pretty good and you get a choice of pasta. I wish they still had the Braised Beef Shortribs on the menu, and the Bolognaise sauce! The staff are always patient and quick with re-orders of the never-ending items. Yelp
Nostalgia hit and I convinced my husband to go to an early dinner at 4pm. A few other folks had the same idea but it wasn't too busy. We have had mixed experiences at this location, but our past visit was a home run. My husband and I both ordered the tortelloni Alfredo with crispy chicken Fritta. We took advantage of the never ending offer and we both enjoyed two bowls of soup and breadsticks and took our entrees to go. Angel, our server, was great! He was very attentive and offered us seconds, so we didn't have to ask. The food came out hot and quickly. Thank you, Angel!

Yelp
Spacious comfortable seating and ample parking. We were encouraged to give Olive Garden another try after a not desirable meal in North Carolina. We pondered about where we would go-- Laurel, Hyattsville or here in Virginia. Well you know what OG is and this is a good one. The salad bowl was fresh, the pasta fagioli soup was fresh, hearty with tomatoes, beef, and beans. We had the tour of Italy which included a quality piece of chicken in the parmigiana and spaghetti with meat sauce. It was all tasty and too much to eat in one sitting. We started with the breads sticks which were light and freshly made and warm and a shrimp fritto misto appetizer. The iced tea was good too. The tiramisu was just okay and nothing to write home about. We were given OG chocolate mints to end the meal! Our server was Ignacio and he was attentive, friendly, and checked on us often. Even the take out containers were quality. We were greeted by the staff on our way in and on our way out. If you are looking for an OG in a spacious setting with good OG food this is it.

Yelp
5/5. Olive Garden is always a good pick for dinner, especially if you're craving some good pasta. This location has always been consistent with the quality and service. The Food: I went with the "Create You Own Pasta" option. Went with the Rigatoni, on the Creamy Mushroom sauce with some Crispy Chicken Fritta and a side of meatballs. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was incredibly delicious and flavorful. The chicken was a little more cooked than I'd like, but still tasty. The breadsticks and endless soup is always a plus as well. The Service: Service was great! Staff were very friendly and attentive to our small group. Water refills were consistent as well. The Atmosphere: Very spacious restaurant. Clean and nicely decorated. Parking can be a little tricky for people who haven't been here, as it's behind the restaurant in a garage. Overall, a 5/5. Food was consistent and delicious. Definitely recommend this location

Yelp
I have never had such an amazing server. Carlos was the GOAT -- he brought us so many breadsticks and so much salad. He was accommodating and patient. I wish him the best in life. And of course, Olive Garden has great food at great value.

Yelp
Yes, I love to eat local and support small businesses, but sometimes you're across the street at Tyson's shopping with a family of 10 for hours and all you want to do is stuff your faces, but the food court just doesn't cut it. And that's when Olive Garden hits the spot! Even though we had a huge group of 10, we were seated within 20 minutes, and the food just rolled on out. Thank goodness for the limitless salad and breadsticks. We even had someone try the unlimited soup and they got to try several different bowls. The rest of us, it was pasta, pasta, pasta of all different shapes and sauces. Overall, full bellies and happy smiles all around. Sometimes Olive Garden is just what we needed.

Yelp
Did the never ending pasta bowl! It was sooo delicious! The service was great he helped us and was amazing! The place is so cute definitely has a homey atmosphere and vibe.

Yelp
I haven't been to an Olive Garden in so long, but it's as filling as I remember. The calamari was perfectly tender, and I always remembered it being more chewy, but this texture is a lot better. I got the chicken and shrimp carbonara, and the chicken and shrimp were really good. However, there was a crazy amount of butter in this dish that just pooled at the bottom. The salad and breadsticks are good as always (my favorite). I tried the sicilian sunset drink, and it was very flavorful and light. Service was pretty good, and the restaurant is a lot bigger than you'd expect.

Yelp
We had a huge party of 20 people and our server Mariela took great care of us! Ana was so accommodating with our reservation and even called that morning to ask if we needed to make any changes. The restaurant was clean and HUGE. Food came out quickly and was delicious. I will be back soon!

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting. For some reason, our teenage daughter wanted to go to Olive Garden for dinner. We had been there a few times years ago but not since. The interior appeared even more depressing than I remembered. The staff, except our waitress, was, at best, lackadaisical. Sorry, but there is no better word for it. My daughter returned from a trip to the restroom, complaining that it smelled gross. I stopped in the men's room to wash my hands and noted that the floor was soaked. A friend of mine whose family owns restaurants says the condition of the restrooms indicates general hygiene throughout. We probably should have cut and run at that point and decided to power through instead. Live and learn... We were shown to our somewhat clean table and ordered our dinners. The salad was the best part, with mostly fresh iceberg lettuce, too many onions, a goodly amount of tomatoes, and a few olives. Everything was drenched in their signature dressing. The main courses are when things really go wrong. I had their shrimp and chicken carbonara. In real Italian restaurants, carbonara is my bellwether dish. At its base, what I was served had no resemblance to anything like that. The pasta was overcooked and oily. The "bacon" was tiny chunks of gristle. The added chicken was somehow almost gelatinous, and the shrimp tasted... off. I gave up after a couple of bites, I was glad I had filled up on salad. My wife and daughter had similar experiences with their meals. None of us finished and we left knowing we would never return.

Yelp
Our server Ximena was amazing tonight03/01/25 , she did a fantastic job tonight, her service was excellent from beginning to the end, always smiling and so helpful overall. Would definitely come back to have Ximena serve us again. Amazing job. The food was amazing and the ambiance and Ximena's amazing service, gave us a fantastic evening that we will remember and that will make us come back to enjoy another day. Great job!

Yelp
We looked forward to enjoying lunch at this location but left disappointed. My soup was only warm when served, not hot. The chicken Parmesan was just so so, and the stuffed chicken Marsala was way over salted. Needless to say, we will not be returning there. It seems that the Olive Garden has slipped noticeably. Our previous experience at Falls Church location was merely tolerable. This is sad since we enjoy good Italian food. We won't find that at the Olive Garden.
google avatar

Yelp
Just like how I remembered since the last visit several years ago. I recalled frequenting OG since a little kid with my family. The days where it was not uncommon to wait 45 minutes to an hour for a table. There was no waiting here as we walked straight in to a seat during lunch time on a Saturday. The service was excellent! Every dish came out hot and delicious. Don't forget the cheese! Up to you how much you want as they will not stop grating until you say so. The soup and salad is a must and is the perfect compliment to the meal. Overall was a great experience and a must return. Enjoy!
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
We had reservations for a larger party. We got there and we still had to wait about 20mins to be seated because table wasn't ready. We didn't have to wait long for ordering, drink or food. Our Server was friendly but he did not offer freshly grated cheese on our meals. And I never got a refill on my beverage. I also felt like the bread sticks are not like I used to remember. It's been a long time since I've been to this restaurant. But the bread sticks had a weird flavor to me. I barely ate the one and unusually indulge and eat 2-3 before my meal comes.

Yelp
Olive Garden can be hit/miss for dining in. Be prepared for a wait on the weekends during primetime dinner around 6:30pm and after 8pm, the rush is over. While Olive Garden is delightfully unauthentic, my hubby and I relish in the endless doughy breadsticks, soup/salad, and heaping leftovers. The vegetables are a bit soggy in the pipping hot Minestrone soup. If you order carry-out, eat the soup same day, don't wait for more than 24 hours. The veggies go bad and the soup becomes very acidic. I ate the leftover soup 3 days later, and got painfully sick. The fried Eggplant Parm cutlets smothered in cheese and marinara sauce can be hit/miss. One time the cutlet was one gigantic piece and cooked to perfection and among the best I've had! The following week, it was 4-5 round fried eggplant cutlets with tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese slapped on top and peeling off as I cut through the eggplant. I'm not a big fan of the default bland spaghetti that comes with the dish. The $2.29 upcharge for the Fettucini Alfredo is worth it! While the fettucine noodles aren't cooked al dente and soaked in heavy cream and cheese, they are tasty. Skip the ravioli and other pasta dishes, they aren't cooked al dente and leave a lot to be desired. Aside from the Fettucine Alfredo, the 5 Cheese Ziti is the only other pasta dish I would vouch for. The decadent Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake with rich chocolate cake sandwiched between cheesecake topped with ganache and a layer of chocolate chips is divine. Sweet ending to a great meal! Curbside pick-up is fantastic and the order typically only take 20 minutes. The app is awesome and super easy to use. The staff is always friendly and attentive - please don't forget to tip! While the dining in service is generally pretty good, the servers can be a bit scatter-brained and forgetful. The server committed a faux pas with mixing up my fettuccini alfredo with marina sauce and then quickly rectified it! Why did the loyalty program disappear? I miss those coupons and eClub points and freebies. Will return for some breadsticks, soup, salad, eggplant parm, fettuccini alfredo, and chocolate mousse cake!

The service was amazing my food was a little late and a bit under cooked we got seated fast and politely overall would recomend

Yelp
Service was just really bad and very inattentive. Waitress was barely present, resulting in being charged twice and chased down in the parking lot. Will never be back. Parking was confusing.

Yelp
Love coming here for the unlimited soup and salad with my family whenever we are in town. Also comes with breadsticks. Relaxing atmosphere and good food.

Yelp
Joan is a phenomenal server, and Olive Garden is lucky to have her. Actually a really kind staff all around. I wanted to give Olive Garden another chance, after they announced a lot of menu changes. It used to be for people that were older, and or lacked taste buds. That's how I feel, and is merely an opinion. I think they've improved a bit, but I just don't consider them to be Italian. Props to them in stepping it up a bit, but the soup was salt and salt. The chicken Parmesan was decent, but I can't say I'm craving more of it. The salads and bread sticks are okay. The Tysons location is impeccably clean. It's definitely one of their best looking restaurants. Am grateful to Joan and the service, but alas the food is alright. They still have work to do to be considered great. I would recommend this for casual dining, but I like other Italian places far more. If you're in a hurry this might work, and I do want to say thank you to the staff here. They are wonderful, but the food is so so.

Yelp
We had a very good experience with this Olive Garden. We both had the endless soup, salad, and breadsticks meals. Our server was so quick at getting our food out and getting our refills. The soup, salad, and breadsticks were very good, though the salad was over dressed. It was also very well priced at $10.99. We went on a Sunday at lunch and there was no wait. The inside looks a bit old but had that familiar Olive Garden look. There's a free parking garage behind the building.
google avatar

Ashlee A.

Yelp
To be on a girl's trip, the goal is to try new things...but Olive Garden will always hit the spot! Parking situation is a bit confusing as it's a one way to the 'parking garage'. We thought we were cutting it close coming in around 9:15pm with them closing at 10, but they literally were seating people at 9:55! Our waiter was very nice and on point, but I will also say it's very noticeable the poor relationships of the staff with the way they communicate with one another in front of customers. A lot of rushing and annoyance present. Overall, we enjoyed our food and I really liked my strawberry Bellini + the extra Prosecco being brought out as well. Breadsticks not as soft as I'm use to but again, it was pretty close to closing. 2.5 stars.

Yelp
This wasn't so bad service we just had a long wait this is not that bad really good food

Yelp
This is one of the nicest locations I have gone to. Usually Olive Garden can be overwhelming and their bathrooms are never clean...however at this location I did not run into this issue and they had toilet paper in their stalls! The unlimited salad or soup deal is what makes me come back every time. Aside from their delicious heavy cream pastas I love that as a group we can share the soup and the salad combo. Of course breadstick are always a hit. I usually come here with a big party because of the affordable prices and the amount of food you get for your buck. Our waiter was very young but he was super attentive and accommodating. Thank you to our waiter for packing breadsticks for us to-go. It's the little things!
google avatar

Estee A.

Yelp
Impressively large restaurant that is nicely decorated. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Service was decent. The food was just okay, from all the hype with the breadsticks I was thoroughly unimpressed. The salad was just okay nothing to write home about. My girlfriend got the spaghetti and meat sauce and wasn't a fan. We both enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo- she did because her pasta was meh and I enjoyed because of my super low expectations. Would I ever return, hell no, but the price was definitely in tune with the quality of food. My father in law elect ordered 3 different soups and the eggplant parmigiana which he loved. $40 all inclusive for 3 is insanely cheap but damn if you have tastebuds go somewhere else.

Yelp
Sometimes you just want to go sure and simple for a meal.  That is when we choose something sure fire and easy like the Olive Garden.  It's not trendy.  It's not exotic. But, it is always reliable, tasty and convenient.  Our favorite offering is the endless soup, salad and breadsticks.  Say what you might, but Olive Garden does a good Pasta e fagioli.  Never disappoints.  Plus, who can say no to endless breadsticks?  For light cocktails we had the spiked strawberry lemonade and the peach bellini.  Both were good and the bellini came with its own adorable mini bottle of prosecco on the side.  For dessert we had the chocolate brownie lasagna which was chocolatey without being too sweet and enough to share.  The Olive Garden now has these little kiosks on each table with the menu and games.  You can order from this station but the human service is always friendly and helpful and readily available.  The dining room is spacious and was surprisingly quiet the last time as compared to years ago when there was always a line.  The parking at this location is also really easy.

Yelp
Just got home from the most horrible Olive Garden experience i've ever had. Me and my wife decided to grab dinner here around 8:30 (we asked is it too late to get a quick bite since we know they close at 10) we promised to be quick because we've both worked in food industry before. Young man said yes and seated us. We sat there for almost 20 mins before someone greeted us. Finally a young man greets us in such a weird way. He was mumbling. My wife asked for a lemonade and he kept asking if she wanted other lemonades like rasberry or whatever. She said no just regular lemonade and he looks at us weird and says "are u sure?" I asked for a water and he does the same thing. Later he asks me again are u sure you just want water?. Wtf. We ordered and my wife wanted extra marinara sauce on the side and he does the same thing, asks "u want the white sauce?" And i just look at him and think this kid has to be on drugs or something. We go to olive garden quite frequently, this is far from the quality of service i expected. Maybe this kid was mad we came close to closing time? We were going to tip good because we felt bad. This kid was so strange he stares at you for a long time as if u said something stupid. Normally servers come and check up on you get u refills, soups, etc. this kid never came over until i call him over. The food came out before our soups . That NEVER happens. The soup is already made u just pour it into a bowl. Like c'mon! He brings the soups after we're halfway into our food. And then he brings us bread that was wrapped up in napkins from the table next to us. Old dried up bread. At this point im starting to boil, but my wife tells me to remain calm and let it go. Wife reminds him about the marinara sauce on the side that he forgot, he said oh ok and i look at my "create your own" pasta that i asked for sausage in and did not have sausage. Just pasta and mushrooms in a very small portion. I said uh im missing the sausages, he says oh u want the sausage i can get you two. -_- wtf we still remain calm and friendly. We're almost done eating our food and he comes and says u need anything? And my wife once again reminds him of the sauce he never brought... and my sausages still not out and he says they have to defrost the sausages i was like you know what take it off my tab i dont want the sausages anymore he said u sure? Ok . All my pasta and soup is gone and he expects me to just eat sausage by itself. No apology or nothing Whole time no refills no refills on soup . Nothing. We tried looking for the manager but she was nowhere to be found. Daniela S Torrico you need to train your team and start firing people if they cant do their job. What a waste of time and money. We planned to leave a $15 tip in the beginning because we felt bad for coming in late. I left you a $5 tip because thats the energy you deserved i was going to leave $1 but my wife convinced me. People dont understand that the tip is based on the service, the experience, u dont like your job? Go work somewhere else. But if u gon stay then be good at what u do.

Yelp
Peel on eggplant. Done. Never coming back. Who does that?? Waitresses were very sweet.

Yelp
I've found hair in my food more than once, this is the third chance and i will not be coming back. This was in their shrimp scampi
google avatar

Randy L.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to Olive Garden so I wanted to try it again. Our server Everett was so sweet and helpful to us. The only other good thing was the breadsticks. The salad lacked sauce but at least it was fresh. The shrimp scampi came out looking really dry and tasted dry as well. The dining room was near empty when my party arrived.

Yelp
Very...okay. The service wasn't bad at all - quick and attentive. We went during lunch. The restaurant smelled like old cheese, so I wanted to leave, but my husband didn't care. The chicken Alfredo was chewy. The soup and breadsticks were the highlight.
google avatar

Vincent K.

Yelp
Haven't been to an Olive Garden in years. First off our waiter was fantastic. Very attentive and always on the look out to ensure that we were doing ok. The portion sizes were large for the price which was nice. My wife made her own pasta and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. Unlimited breadsticks are always great. Ambiance was nice it wasn't very busy and the restaurant is pretty big. Not as warm feeling as I remember it but still nice.

Savanna Y.

Yelp
very unpleasant and unmannered waitresses.they first said that we should wait around 1:30 minutes but they made us wait 2:00hours and they still couldn't find us a spot and we had to leave. this is very embarrassing coming from a restaurant like Olive Garden. they don't even deserve the one star I put in Its because I didn't have a choice. It's such a ginormous, shameful, horrible and irresponsible thing they did on me and my family and I wouldn't even recommend this place for my worst enemy. All that you will be left with is disappointment from this place nothing else if you go. Horrible and shameful ( I am talking about the one in silver spring) definitely needs more etiquette and dicipline
google avatar

Khamil T.

Yelp
Nice people working there. Never ending bowl is the best choice, since you can eat as much as you want and still get different things each time. The place is really nice and was very clean.

Jazmyne M.

Yelp
We ordered our food to go but the exterior of the restaurant itself was beautiful, we were 20 minutes late of our chosen pick up time and everything was still kept hot. it was all delicious and my husbands steak was cooked perfect. we will be returning the next time we travel.

Yelp
Family dinner. Packed for Sunday night. Walked in and was seated within 5-10 minutes. Did the usual soup and salad that comes with entrees. Pasta E Fagioli was a tad on the salty side but nothing like some breadsticks to help you balance it out. Got a create your own rigatoni with chicken fritta and meat sauce which hit the spot. Family member got the shrimp and chicken carbonara. Not too heavy or salty and was a great portion size. Appreciate the menu is reduced compared to years past. Service was excellent and kudos to the waitstaff handling a busy Sunday dinner rush.

Yelp
Olive Garden is a excellent choice for lunch or dinner because the food is delicious and I recommend getting the Alfredo because it has just the right amount of creaminess and is so good. Also at Olive Garden you receive great service, for example the food came out quick but left just the right amount of time for your appetizers. And speaking of appetizers the salad is the best salad I have ever tasted and the bread sticks are amazing. So I definitely recommend going to Olive Garden if you want a delicious lunch or dinner and if you do you won't regret it.

Yelp
Salad, soup, breadsticks, Alfredo. Nuff said. The cool thing for people to do is knock on Olive Garden, but it's always consistent. And breadsticks

Yelp
Came here for R's 1st Birthday :D We've been to this Olive Garden location in the past, but it's definitely been a few years since we've visited this location. The host was friendly and pointed us to the party room. The employees did a great job setting everything up neatly. Special menus were placed with the table setting. The servers were kind, helpful, and quick. Our food came out in a timely manner and they did a great job making sure everyone was satisfied. OG has been a childhood favorite of ours. When we were kids, We'd only go to OG on special occasions. I'm a big fan of their unlimited salad, soup, and breadsticks. Their Bellini Peach-Raspberry Iced Tea is also my favorite drink here. Everyone had a great time celebrating R's b-day and it was good times all around!

Yelp
Fantastic service and delicious food at this Olive Garden location! Everyone at the restaurant including hosts/hostesses and our wonderful waitress Wilma were kind, attentive and made our experience great. The manager even checked in on our table at one point. The food was also great. We had a larger group (8 people) which can sometimes lead to poorer service, but here it was great. Wilma even took the time to split our checks, which we understand can be annoying for larger groups of our size.

Yelp
Still one fantastic place for meals. Never gets tired of bottomless their Zappa Tuscany soup, salad, and bread. Honestly, their prices are extremely attractive. Simply put, very inexpensive to enjoy tasty Italian dishes. Noticed that they have offered many new dishes, and tried one of them, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. Too bad that as of this writing, we still don't have this chain in the state. Hope, there will be soon.

Yelp
Another visit to Olive Garden that wasn't bad but certainly could have been better. I was meeting friends, it was a group of 13 once we all arrived. Given the location and the other sizable groups I have seen here on various occasions I have to believe they have a group policy for customer service and decent training but they were obviously overwhelmed. No one was unpleasant when we could get their assistance but right to the end it was just one thing after another topped off by the waiter realizing he had not charged someone who had left already for one of the meals they had ordered and I ended up picking it up. I would have ordered a drink but gave up after a while and was thankful I was able to get a second bowl of soup and a to-go order. Hubby was happy with his order and enjoyed his chicken alfredo. Olive Garden always has the accepting applications up facing Route 7 so I am guessing the turn over the high. Unfortunately this locations seems to be set up for large groups which can be more complicated to service even for an experienced team, I imagine it is particularly challenging for constantly rotating team, no opportunity to establish a system and determine skills. I would have liked a drink with my soup and salad and might have requested a desert if presented with the option. Decent relatively inexpensive meal options and a location that has the space to handle a large group just not necessarily the service.

Yelp
I kinda wish I took a picture of the salad bowl...and here's why you know when you chop lettuce and it starts browning like the next day. Yeah that's what salad looked like when I ate it not to mention there were huge chunks of lettuce by huge it was a mini wedge. Even if an Olive Garden salad sat for 10-15 mins on the table I've never seen it magically change color. Clearly this location has cut staff or they are having staff do double duty because only one server out of 2 could I possible get attention of. I get it when there is a large party it's hard to handle we probably had 15+ people. However most staff are prepared for big parties and to be honest if you are organized you won't get so confused. Myself and another person were last to the table which means our orders were the last to go in. Now a good majority of the table ordered the same dish which I get it fire a bunch at the same time but keep track of which ticket instead of asking hey who got one. Or smart idea serve those dishes who didn't order the same dish and then bring the same dishes to those that ordered. Then checks I get it we had a lot of people and a lot of checks but a smart server would've taken the time to select the checks as to not have someone accidentally pay for someone else's bill because they have to figure out what they ordered. Instead stand there click the button and then have people insert the card. Not to mention our kiosk machine had trouble reading certain people's cards. Also the receipt dispenser is always broken on all kiosk machines. Good thing there is email/txt receipts. I guess Olive Garden has not only cut portions but staff too. Not the greatest dining experience I've had at Olive Garden guess that's why I haven't returned in awhile.

Yelp
*This review happened a while back, but I forgot to post it sooner. I am glad it's up and running now. 3/25/20* 2/29/20 Kelly appeared sometime after we were seated and has been been nothing helpful. Her charming personality and witty replies set the mood for our dinner. I truly feel she is an asset to the team here. I hope she become and outstanding manager at this restuarant or elsewhere.
