"The first thing to be said about this Shoreditch venue is that, although it is vegetarian, it uses some cheeses with animal rennet, including Parmesan — chef-proprietor Emerson Amélio de Oliveira strongly believes these have a superior flavour. That said, the eco-friendly venue, with sustainability at its heart, has by far the most inventive vegetarian menu in London. Oliveira comes from a Brazilian-Italian background; and this is reflected in dishes such as hand-made pastas and risottos, alongside the use of Amazonian fruit and veg. There are plenty of dishes with breadfruit and jackfruit sourced from Tooting market; and speciality items such as dende oil, phytoplankton, and vegan faux gras. An amazing vegan (vegetarian) fine dining experience at very affordable price! If you are a foodie, you must try this place. Chef is the culinary equivalent of Picasso. The ingredients are a combination of seasonal local and Amazonian ones. I lack the vocabulary to even begin to describe what ecstasy your taste buds are about to experience. We have been going there regularly and is one of our favorite places in London for vegan gourmet. We tried the truffle tasting menu (a limited option for this season only), and it’s out of this world!!!🤯😍 Even if you decide to go alacart, leave room for deserts! The have the best vegan crème brûlée, cheesecake and home made ice creams / sorbet from Amazonian fruits I can’t pronounce.

I have been a lot of vegan and vegetarian restaurants in London and I can't think of anywhere better than this. The food is definitely freshly made with fascinating recipes. The round kitchen cooking area is really special and you feel part of the restaurant.. The people working here are especially warm and friendly which makes it so personable. It has a warm cosy atmosphere and the people who come here are definitely trendy. What I like is it not noisy like some places and you can hear each other talk. It's also nice to be supporting a small independent business A definite five star recommendation!

Fantastic dining experience. The service was attentive and professional, with staff being very knowledgeable about the wine list. The food was outstanding – full of flavour and far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend trying the starters and desserts, every dish was exceptional. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, making it the perfect place for an enjoyable evening or birthday celebration.

This cozy vegan and vegetarian spot in London truly stands out. I had the Chef Lorena’s salad, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. You can really tell the ingredients are high-quality and thoughtfully combined. Big thanks to Ana for the kind and attentive service. Her warm energy made the whole experience even better. Visited for an anniversary meal. We had the tasting menu, and so nice to have a menu created for vegetarians rather than as an afterthought. Service was attentive and friendly, but never intrusive. Food was wonderful - a marvellous and memorable evening for us.

Oliveira Kitchen is a calm, beautifully designed space. The decor is filled with well-placed plants that give the interior a sense of serenity. While the exterior is modest, it’s worth stepping inside to experience the full atmosphere. The menu is entirely vegetarian, with everything available as vegan. The menu is refined, with the staff more than helpful in talking through the selection. The Beurre Noisette, an aubergine-based dish, was excellent. My friend had a mac’n’cheese-type dish that they loved. Oliveira Kitchen is well suited for a quiet dinner, and it’s clear that thought has gone into every part of the experience.

My new favourite vegan restaurant! The food was exceptional. Unique dishes with ingredients exquisitely paired together. The Miss Muffet pasta dish is a must try! I had the vegan version but my friend had the veggie version (only difference is the cheese). I must say, the vegan cheese used was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. My carnivore friend was extremely impressed also. Also highly recommend the chocolate decadence dessert! The service was wonderful. Gloria is a real asset to the restaurant, knowledgeable on all dishes with a friendly personal touch. One thing I loved is how we weren’t rushed between dishes, like at a lot of restaurants. It can be really difficult getting a healthy vegan meal nowadays, with most restaurants only offering processed food. It was easy to tell how clean the food was, as I felt great after the meal with no bloating or fatigue. It was great speaking to owner-chef Emerson at the end. His passion for good food, well sourced ingredients and ethics were inspiring. The restaurant has vegetarian options, with the inclusion of egg and dairy, though is mostly vegan and most veg dishes can be made vegan upon request. It was so good I went back the following week, and will continue to do so whenever in London.

I loved everything I had here - even made room for dessert! Did the dulse cake starter - like a cassava croquet, and then the Hen-Of-The-Woods And Okinawa Gnocchi - Devon mushroom, Okinawa Gnocchi and a fennel court bouillon, and healthy decadence - Peruvian chocolate w salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. Would totally come back!

I want to let everyone know that Oliveira Kitchen is absolutely amazing. Please do yourself a favor and enjoy the food, the atmosphere, the owner, chef, and music. If I could give it a 6th star, I would. Not only is it good vegetarian food, but not processed, and great for thr environment. Both the owner and chef are both so passionate about this wonderful establishment.
