Great food and atmosphere. Every meat was so tender and juicy. We got the weight option and chose different types, we had also Flan and Tiramisu which both were amazing!

Everything is cooked on skewers from beef, to chicken, to sausages, to the skinned pineapple dusted with cinnamon. I always get the fresh made pineapple juice. They have many sides, along with an all you can eat option.

Carioca restaurant-style atmosphere, excellent service, but ask for three factors: they need more seafood, they don't serve the typical local coalho cheese unless you eat at the all-you-can-eat buffet, and I tried the passion fruit and chocolate cake, and it wasn't fresh and it's not close to the style of Brazilian desserts. But the food is very fresh and delicious, congratulations.

The buffet is always sumptuous. If you love meat get the all you can eat option they keep bring out different meats for you to choose from. I love the lighting… especially suited for dinner. I go every chance I get.

I recently ordered a Combo from Olly, and all I can say is "Do it." I chose the 2 MEAT/ 4 SIDES combo: Lamb sirloin and Chicken Hearts/Mushrooms, Cheese bread, Tomatoes and Cucumbers and Plantains. Sometimes, simple preparation is best, and this proved it. Both meats were tender and seasoned delicately but sufficiently. My ONLY disappointment was the Mushroom side and that, I will let slide. I expected just the fungi, but it was a 'salad' of sorts: Olives, banana peppers or maybe pepperoncini--it honestly was a decent snack of protein. I just do not like those items. I also ordered the Coconut cake.....I may pick up my next order just to shake someone's hand! This was not the average cake with coconut flakes on the outside- no, no, no,no- this marvel of a confection was moist, dense& light simultaneously and had this coconut 'paste' betwixt the layers. This may have been better than my current favorite bakery for coconut cake, Flour. The paste tastes of condensed milk but it's textured-One of the most glorious desserts I have ever eaten. I already know what I am ordering next!

I had such a lovely experience this evening with Romario at the bar. He was incredibly sweet and attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcomed from the start. His kindness, warm smile, excellent service, and the delicious caipirinhas he made truly stood out. I’ll definitely be back!

Delicious Brazilian style barbecue. Special cuts are Fraldinha, Picanha and Costela. Good salad and hot specialties selection in the buffet. Unfortunately deserts were not worthy. We had Brigadeiro (the colour was awful, kind of grey) and It should be made with condensed milk, cocoa powder and heavy cream, but you cannot taste any of those. Sprinkles on top are really bad quality and it tasted like sugar/flour, not chocolate. Terrible. We also had milk pudim - the taste was great but they add glucose syrup on top to mix with the original caramel topping. This was really bad. It was served with Chantilly and a maraschinno cherry (something you would never have with that desert in Brazil. It's not related. It was nonsense).

Meats Meats! Meats! It's been a while since we've been to a Brazilian steakhouse so we were super excited to try Oliveira. We made reservations online and we were quickly seated as soon as we got there. We went with the first option on their dinner menu which was an all you can eat buffet and juicy meats served at your table. The restaurant is bustling and fast paced but we quickly got the rhythm down of flagging down the meat servers and asking for more. We did utilize the salad buffet but we didn't want to get too full because all we wanted was the meats! I liked the basket full of goodies that they served us as soon as we sat down. It was filled with yucca fries, plantains, bacon wrapped bread and Brazilian cheese bread. Everything was yummy! The meats did not disappoint! They were juicy and some were saltier than others which I love because I love salt! We couldn't get enough of the grilled pineapple that was like a nice palate cleanser in-between different meat tastings. They were also very generous with the slices, they cut up some beefy chunks of meat each time. By the end of dinner we were stuffed but very satisfied! I can't wait to dine here again! It was so much fun and so much food!

Try: AYCE! Why: Solid Brazilian Steakhouse with AYCE dinner for $49. Great selection of meats like steak, sausage, and chicken. My favs were sirloin and garlic beef. Good buffet for cold and hot plates. I had the white sangria but didn't love it - only had a few sips. Overall, very filling and satisfied with selection. Notes: They have parking lot and street parking available, which was convenient. We went on a Saturday evening with a large group of 8 so made reservations ahead of time. Large table was ready upon arrival. It was packed with a line outside. They also do takeout and pay by weight. Welcoming and friendly workers. The meat kept flowing to our table with various options, which was much appreciated.

I've been living in Somerville for yearsss and have been told to try Oliveira's and I finally made it here last Saturday for dinner with a friend and her family that was visiting. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they are a Brazlian Steakhouse and similar to Fogo De Chão and Midwest they have an unlimited buffet. But here, there's the option to do plates by weight which our table of 8 decided to do. I've done the food to-go by weight at Midwest so weighing my meal wasn't new to me *expert wink*. So it was nice to have this as an option because we had a 9pm reservation and there was no way I was fitting so much food in my stomach if I did the unlimited buffet option. For the plate by weight option, you get a card number for yourself / you and whoever else is on your bill, you grab a plate by the buffet and collect all that your heart desires, weigh it with the cashier before you get to sit down and enjoy... and if it didn't feel like enough food you can repeat the process. We had a great experience - our waitress was very friendly and informative. She answered any questions the group had since some were new to a Brazilian steakhouse experience. The steak cuts were delicious, spicy sausage was another tasty meat. From the buffet section - The crispy pork belly was my favourite and Pork &beans is always a go-to with some of the yellow rice along with some fried plantain. The left of the buffet the ambience is a little fancier and the right side of the buffet the seating is more casual. Can't wait to go back again!

I really wanted to try one restaurant during Dine out Boston week so I decided to go with something I never get enough of: MEAT. So I headed over to Oliveria's Brazilian steakhouse to try their AYCE deal. They had a special this time with AYCE meat and buffet table as well as adding in drinks and dessert and we paid $55per including tax. The inside of the restaurant is way facier than I was expecting considering this is an AYCE place. The staff were also very great in bringing the meat around but it got busier later in the evening when it was time for the check. The great thing is you can pay via QR code on the receipt. There were lots of different meats: sausage, sirloin, beef with cheese, beef with bacon around it. They even had this thing that was pineapple with cinnamon which was yummy. The food overall was great but the meat for me was pretty mid etheir too plain or just too salty from ... the salt not much any flavor to it. Now forget about the meat for a second and let's talk about the buffet bar. Here I was thinking it would be like some Chuck E Cheese business like no they had fish, spaghetti , bread, asparagus, some shrimp salad salad thing. I was using the cucumbers and watermelon to make some room in my tummy but if i wasn't so focused on the meats I would have been getting everything from the buffet but because it could have filled me up by itself. After finally finishing the battle we shared a delicious flan. Overall, a rainy night well spent. Prices $$ Food-8 Atmosphere-9 Service-8

Food is good, service not at all... I have a party of 6 people... I arrived a few minutes early to make sure we had a table ready.... But they won't let me seat at the table until at least another guest arrives...WTF?? What's the point of reserve the table.... The hostess was not helpful or friendly at all... very disappointed.

Solid Brazilian BBQ place in Boston area. Went to lunch, had the buffet option. Meats were delicious. Well seasoned and good variety. Buffet table was decent, rice and beans very tasty. Their beef stew was good on its own. While we were stuffed, had to try the flan. So good. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Good parking lot.

Such a good Brazilian steakhouse!! We did the rodizio and loved the all you can eat buffet and meats. At the buffet, I highly recommend getting the plantains and yuca fries. I have to say I had trouble remembering which meats were which so I can't identify a favorite, but you really can't go wrong with any of them. I tried a caipirinha for the first time and it was super refreshing and went really well with the meats. The service is good and it's a nice space, would be fun for a date night or dinner with friends!

My friends treated me to an AYCE experience meaning we had access to their salad bar that has plenty more than just salad. There were plenty of meat selections including steak, cheese & steak, pork, lamb and more. Sides included potato salad, pasta salad, mashed potatoes, stewed meats, fresh fruit, etc. Staff were very friendly even though they had truck loads of people coming in on a Friday night. Parking can be a little difficult as there's a small parking lot but also street parking options available. Either way, I had a wonderful experience during the holiday season and would love to come again with an empty stomach. Highly recommend!

This was my second visit to Oliveira's, the first being shortly after they opened. I decided not to post a negative review then, and instead give them a chance to work out the kinks. It fell off my radar until this week. We got together with two friends there. Most important was the cost. The tab for the four of us was $222+tip. While that may not be excessive for a fine establishment, this was just 'meh' food. The salads were fresh but boring. The fried fish looked like Gorton's of Gloucester, straight from the supermarket's freezer chest. The primary - maybe ONLY spice - was salt. Don't get me wrong - I love Brazilian food. But this was more like what you get at Golden Corral, and for a LOT less than $222.

I waited to review this place AFTER going to Fogo de Chao. It had been like 5-6 years since I've been to a Brazilian churrascaria so after I came here I was a bit confused on a few things. The outlook and vibe of this place seemed more old fashioned and authentic to the experience. The service was good and they were friendly. My biggest issue, which is probably the most important, was the food quality. Even tho the servers asked how I liked my meat cooked, they kept coming by and serving me up well done meat. It was incredibly salty as well and the outer edges were burnt, but tough to eat burnt. I didn't have any good cuts of meat at all. The sides were okay and if you are Brazilian I can definitely see how you'd like this place because again, I do feel it to be more on the authentic side. They do have an option to just pay in weight what you eat which I recommend to go with. As mentioned I did hit up Fogo before reviewing this place just yesterday and I have to say the meat there is beyond tastier than this place and they gave me medium rare most times I asked for it other than the cooked whole pieces of meat. Service at Fogo was also great and their salad bar had good options which I actually prefer, but again, more authentic side bar here just make sure to pay in weight, don't go with the all you can eat option. I will probably come back here again at some point for the pay in weight experience and give an updated review.

As it would be too much food for myself for dine-in, I opted for the 1/2lb meat Takeout option with a side of plantains. While you can mix your meats I selected the sirloin steak which was very good. Overall, good deal if you just want some meats and a side dish.

Pretty solid restaurant when it comes to AYCE meat in the Boston area, with the main downside being that street parking can get difficult depending on the time of day. Still, it's quite the cute restaurant, with the dim lighting making it into quite the place for date nights and celebrations. As for the food, the meats were nice, juicy, and flavorful for the most part, but occasionally came out a little on the dry/well-done side for my taste. Of course, would like to give a shout-out for their picanha, as such cuts of meat are always welcome, and their fried cheese drizzled in honey kinda speaks for itself Anyway, would definitely recommend this spot for the experience, especially with how fun it is when the servers bring out a bunch of skewered meat and start slicing it right in front of you. Really gotta love the amount of control you get when they start dishing out the meats slice-by-slice, it's pretty darn satisfying I'm looking forward to coming back for more

Oliveira's is a new Brazilian BBQ experience for me. They still offer the classic rodizio experience, bringing meats to your table, but they also offer a window where you can order cuts directly. This window will be your primary source of food because you can order from any of the meats and pick to your liking rather than rely on the more limited selection walking around. It is extremely popular to purchase by the pound here and dine in. We opted for the AYCE experience as first timers here but it looked like 80% of other diners were eating by the pound. Fantastic service and price is not terrible. Salad bar includes hot food like rice, beans, ribs, and fried food alongside regular salad items and fruits. The only downside is their cheese bread is not made fresh and lays out near the salad bar, so it's warm at best and not that cheesy. Though I think everything else makes up for that. Rather than listing out, I'll definitely say order the classic picanha numerous times and try out the abacaxi (grilled pineapple). The pineapple is hot and extremely juicy. The skin on is a weird texture, but it's unique for sure.

I came in with my girlfriend and I did the unlimited food plan. The service was great - the staff were attentive with refilling drinks and the timing of when they came around to shave some meats onto the plate were pretty quick. The staff were courteous and professional. I thought the meats were delicious - flank steak, ribeye, chicken hearts, sausage, and the food from the buffet was hot and delicious! The ambiance was nice - I liked the mood they gave in there. Classy and sophisticated. Super cool to be around other Portuguese and Brazilian people. I would recommend coming back!

Overall awesome experience, we'll definitely be coming back for another celebratory dinner! The meat cuts were juicy and had a huge selection (mainly beef, some pork and lamb). My favorites were the top and bottom sirloin and lamb chops. They also had a buffet style salad bar and cold/hot sides bar! Something for everyone to compliment all the delicious meat. The service was very fast and friendly, and the restaurant was high-energy and giving off fun vibes.

My wife and I had an amazing Saturday night dinner at Oliveira's. We did the AYCE option which was the best way to experience everything that they have to offer. Every meat that was presented to us was sooo tender and juicy. Just a touch of salt to help really bring out the meats true flavor. By the end of the experience I thought I had to be rolled out of there because I was so full but I saw their case of desserts in the front and couldn't say no. I'm sure glad I didn't pass on the dessert because it was amazing! The service was also incredible and they made us feel right at home. I would go there again just for the atmosphere.

Service is Terrible. Servers expect to get 20% tips. But it's funny servers were standing together and chat while we ran out of water, then ready to order dessert and should ask another server. I hope the MANAGEMENT will read this feedback. Customers who need to scale their food and eat in should not to stay in line to only one open register with other people who take out. Meat got cold as there were 5 people in front with take outs. Food overall is delicious and cake was super fresh and amazing.

Food is ok, for a buffet style restaurant, nothing special, tasty and good variety of Brazilian dishes, sometimes the meat might be a little burned, staff in the meat department don't always understand English. Service is slow even after having a reservation, not always organized , recommended that you make a reservation to avoid the long wait. Ambiance is nice, background music loud but tolerant, too pricey for a buffet type restaurant.

Whenever I have friends or family visiting from out of town, Oliveira's is one of the top places I'd take them to. Love their AYCE experience for such a reason price for quality food! Most of their meats are top notch -- I usually get the same things (I personally don't usually get their sausage and chicken, but love their beef options). Their service is always quick and attentive and is full of kind people. Their salad bar has a variety of options ranging from fruits, fresh veggies, some meats, delicious cheesy bread, and more entree options. If you don't have the AYCE option, I love that they offer the option to pay by weight at the window they have by the salad bar. Their drinks are also delicious. I always get their fruity caipirinhas -- I love all of the flavors! Definitely will be visiting again~

Overall: truly a unique experience at a very reputable Brazilian bbq restaurant. You've had people serve you but have you had people slice meat on a skewer as you peel it off? Slightly hefty price tag for technically "just meat" but it's worth it if you can eat your fill. Apologies for any butchered spelling. Overall: top meat choices were the classic sirloin cut, flank steak, bbq ribs, and lamb. Nothing beats a good sirloin and Oliveiras does it right with just the right redness and perfect tenderness. The other choices round out a stacked lineup as they all uniquely carve out their niche of being slightly fattier cuts or leaner cuts. The salad bar had some absolute staples like Pao de quejio (?) that were warm and fuzzy on the inside. The fried yucca may feel like a giant wedge cut fry but has a slightly better denser texture. Lastly the capirichiana(?) is the classic Brazilian alcoholic cocktail that has the vibes of a margarita but comes off way less intense. Would highly recommend for those looking for something more casual to sip on while they enjoy their meat heavy diet. Ambience/Decor/Service: the ambience has a steak house vibe with the wine "cellar" and the fine dining tables with steak knives. The service was not the best in my opinion but that's if I'm being super knit picky. While they do bring out cuts of meat in a good cadence their slicing could use a little bit of work. There were a few too many times that the slices ended up on the table before I could grab the meat off. Similarly the cuts sometimes contained more fat than meat which is another issue.

Went with my husband for our anniversary. The staff was nice and friendly. The food was delicious! It was worth getting the all you can eat. Definitely recommend a reservation. Once it gets busy a line does form to the buffet. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Good Brazilian steakhouse, but I think they could do better. The meat was salty and repetitive and after a short time I couldn't tell you which was which. Call it good or bad at how often they came around, but it might have been too fast. Many times before I had even cut the previous piece, they were bringing more around. Once I turned my card to no more, got up to get some veggies and slow down and there was more meat when I got back! I think the experience would be improved with more distinctive meats and less interruptions.

A great experience! A little confusing on how the workflow is since people can come get food by the pound. The things we didn't like were the brisket and the steak with cheese (both were too tough). Loved the Pichana, but they do cook their steak on the rare end (which worked for me) really liked their rice with beef, chicken, and lots of sides from the bar. Overall a good experience

Another great restaurant with large selection of grilled meats and salad bar. You can pay a set price or pay by the pound which is what my party did. We did not have the waiters carve the meats at our table but went up to the grill station ourselves and ordered what we wanted. After filling your plate you have it weighed and return to your table. Better deal if your not a big eater and i'm definitely not one anymore but still like to sample everything in small portions. The service is great, waitresses constantly ask how we are doing and all very friendly. Location is a little bit out of the way if you live in the city but still worth the drive. I will be back sooner than later.

This was where I had my first Brazilian bbq experience and I keep coming back for their delicious dishes! Keep in mind that I only tried AYCE option on this restaurant, and trust me their meats are delicious :) I believe you could select to opt out for that and order dishes from the kitchen but why would you do that when you can get freshly grilled/baked meat from servers? Also they offer good amount of wine selections and specials, which are perfect for the date night. (They sometimes have a special of 2 all you can eat dinners and a bottle of wine for $80) I don't think I've ever needed reservations as the place is pretty huge. Staffs are kind and friendly as well. Totally recommend if you wanna try good Brazilian barbeque!

If you're looking for a representative of Brazilian food, THIS is the place! The food is amazing, great meats cooked to the perfect point, wide variety (they have absolutely everything), the service just as great, and it's even better than any steak house I've been to in Brazil (and I'm from the south). Our hostess, Marcia, was incredible all the time, as well as the entire staff. The only downside: my belly hurts because I couldn't stop eating.

I went to the Somerville location for the first-time last week. We sat in the outside area where the closed in seating was. We decided on the buffet, and it was great! They had a variety of foods to choose from including rice and beans to different meats and salad options. They had a walk-up window where you are able to choose from various meats. I went with lamb, steak and chicken wrapped in bacon. After you compile your plate, they weigh it for the price, and they give you a card. You can help yourself to as many plates as you like they just adjust the price using the card. My food was tasty, and all of the employees were warm and friendly. For dessert, we decided on the tiramisu. All and all pleasant experience and would return back!

I recently discovered Oliveiras Steak House in Somerville and fell in love with the food. Mainly for the meats, they are wonderful, the Brazilian barbecue is the best in the world. I had already been to other Brazilian steakhouses, but for me this is the best, because the meats arrive very quickly on the table and the flavor is excellent, juicy and at the exact temperature I like.

Amazing food and service, location is great. I had a table outside and the weather was cozy! Friendly staff and the experience for sire is something I wanna have again. If you're looking for a place to enjoy with your family and also enjoy a great meal you should come to Oliveiras!

Great food and kind staff, but be mindful with what you want. It's a self service buffet, but if you dine in you're expected to tip 20%. There's an all you can eat option as well, but it's expensive to a point where 95% of the time you're better off serving yourself.
