"Oliver’s is the kind of upscale vegetarian restaurant we wish would open in LA (preferably next to goop HQ). Thanks to Santa Barbara’s balmy climate, indoor-outdoor dining makes sense. At Oliver’s, the transition is seamless—the warm wood and blue-grey of the interior opens out onto a tree-laden patio strung with lights, and the long French doors are always open to catch the breeze. Dishes like sweet potatoes smothered in herbs and chili, jackfruit tacos, and nutty, toasted farro risotto with fried sage are satisfying and so tasty. The cocktails—made with cold-press juice, kombucha, and premium-grade liquor—are practically virtuous, and the enchanted-treehouse vibe, especially in the early spring, is irresistible. "

The food is excellent and this is coming from a non vegetarian. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Montecito. We ordered the Herb roasted sweet potatoes, Artichoke crab cakes , Roasted garlic hummus, Braised mushroom ravioli, and Pear & Gorgonzola flat bread. The portions are meant to be shared and sufficient for the three of us. We even had leftovers. The food presentation was impressive. We enjoyed our dinner under the stars in their beautiful outdoor seating. Although it was quite chilly outside the heating lamps worked well enough to keep us warm and comfortable. We even took our coats off lol. I highly recommend Oliver’s!

Google
$$$ but worth every penny. It’s hard to find a plant based restaurant where every dish has a unique profile and exquisite flavors. Our wait staff was very attentive. Food served quickly. Nice wine and cocktails menu to boot. Even dessert did not disappoint.

This Vegan place is a true gem! The ambience is stunning, making it a perfect spot for a cozy date. We started with the flavorful kung pao cauliflower and corn soup, followed by heavenly butternut squash Rigatoni. We had apple crumble for dessert and it was perfect ending to a perfect meal! I highly recommend this place! Would love to visit this place again!

Google
Oliver’s has become our go to place every time we visit Montecito. We happened on this place during a visit to SB and fell in love right away. It’s just one of those places that sweeps you off your feet. Our server was best in class. He was passionate about his job and the food, offering us great recommendations which made our experience very special. And the food was just so wonderful. The dishes were so well done from the plating to the colors and the mix of textures; it was truly a great food experience. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is a must visit!

Google
High end vegan food near the beach. Food portions were large, quality was good. It definitely feels a bit “fancy” so if that isn’t your vibe this might not be the spot for you, but the food is delicious.

Yenny Avelar

Google
Okay vegan food, menu isn’t very large, food is good but not out of this world or memorable, I think it could be more tasty, we’ve been vegan for 7 years already and someone recommended this place and said it was Italian but honestly it’s not and shared plates aren’t really big. I’d recommend this place just to go for a coffee but food isn’t great although it’s pricey and not worth it ☹️ atmosphere very serene and pleasant!!! I’d recommend to fix the chairs, cause are sunken in and it’s uncomfortable and kinda hurts your back, ugh 😩 Sadly there aren’t many plant based restaurants around this area☹️

Amazing vegan food and great wine. The menu was very impressive. Staff were friendly and professional. Patio was beautiful, and they had plenty of heaters. Can't wait to go back.

Google
Oliver's is an amazing experience. Very friendly staff, beautiful dishes and a spectacular patio to enjoy it all on. Completely vegan and top notch at that. The chef really did some homework on the crafting of the menu. And Bobby the bartender is friendly, inviting and knowledgeable.

Yelp
It's closed!!!! So sad. There is not another equivalent restaurant around here to replace it either. Hopefully someone opens a similar restaurant soon.

Yelp
This has become our special occasion restaurant. The food gets better and better. The service is wonderful especially the last time we went. My drink was a 10/ 10. Everything we ordered we loved we left nothing on the plate.

Yelp
Husband took me here for my birthday! Wanted to try something different and this was definitely it. i love the ambiance and area because it's very secluded and private feel, since it's on a hill. there is parking in the back( which we didn't know haha). NOTE: we ordered a lot of shareable dishes because that is our preference and it was plenty enough. we really enjoyed the dragonfruit ceviche. it is different and unique! the textures of everything together made it light hearted. served with homemade tortilla chips truffle potatoes. need i say more. get it. simple, yet a staple favorite. will order anything truffle if it's on a menu unfortunately the Brussels sprouts were bitter and it tasted off. we asked the server if we could exchange / discard. they were so nice about it! but we ended up not ordering anything else since we were too full lol arugula / pear gorgonzola flat bread. looks like a big salad on top of a pizza. it was surprisingly so good! it's mad with arugula pesto which is different. we wanted to try and make it myself, since we are growing some in our garden. overall, everything was great. enjoyed the experience!

Yelp
Oliver's is a fancy, vegetarian/vegan place in Montecito, a fancy, quaint part of SB. We had reservations for dinner and were promptly seated. I ordered a glass of local white wine, which was smooth and neutral, perfect for having with food. We ordered the crab cakes and mushroom ravioli: the crab cakes were nice and crispy, but could've used more of the aioli, which was delicious. Mushroom ravioli was just-okay, as I found the Italian sausage stew on top to be excessive and not very good: it drowned out the ravioli that was underneath it. Oliver's isn't cheap, but for a romantic dinner, it gets the job well done!

Yelp
Amazing! Lovely ambiance. Gracious service. Food was good, kind of skimpy on protein (oddly). We started with the chopped salad, which was delicious, but also not chopped? We did all share plates: kung pao cauliflower, pad Thai & Thai curry. The cauliflower was the biggest hit-- sauce was sooooooo good. Pad Thai was tasty, albeit a little over sauced. They did half zoodles & half rice noodles which was unexpected, but still tasty. Could have used a protein. The curry had a little kick, weird that it was chickpea instead of tofu. We split the apple crisp for dessert, very tasty! Great drinks. We sat inside because it was a little chilly & I was not prepared. Bring layers so you can sit outside. It's much nicer. Give yourself some time to find parking. We circled for a while on Saturday around 7pm.

Yelp
Get the Oliver's Burger w/ the Truffle Fingerling Potatoes. Sit outside or inside, it's your choice and it's nice both ways. The outside is lit with cute string outdoor lighting and has large tables for group functions, fire pit seating or inside/outside bar seating. Indoors is candlelit and has cute comfortable booths or tables to sit at. Back to the Oliver's burger (everything is vegan), you can have their house made burger patty which is amazing on its own or the impossible patty. Both delicious! I remember sitting by a couple and he was saying how he has been all over the country and international, he said this was the best burger he had ever had and he's not even vegan/vegetarian. The custom cocktails are great! My go to is the Johnny 5 because they use fresh ginger and it gives it a nice lemony sweet spice taste that leaves you satisfied. The servers are always sweet and attentive.

Yelp
I'll preface by saying I'm a meat and dairy eater so I was set up from the start. My 3 stars feedback is about food more than anything else. Ambiance is nice. Wait staff are cool. We made reservations and we're seated immediately outside. It was very nice. I had an amazing drink, from their menu, which was very delicious. Pic included. I like pad Thai and had that. It wasn't good to me at all. The noodles. The sauce. I just couldn't get with it. And I was a little salty because they wouldn't modify the grilled cheese and make it with non gluten free bread. So I tried to salvage with a dessert but the dish they call sweet potato beignets were not. I have had beignets before and IDK who would ever put this in the same category. The only thing they have in common is there was powdered sugar on it. Tif you know Porto's potato balls, the texture and mouthfeel is like that. But the taste is nothing similar. So I was none too happy to pay a really high bill for an unsatisfactory dining experience.

Yelp
As someone who could eat 55 chicken wings, it is shocking that the best dining experience I've had in SB is at the vegan Oliver's - stunning special cocktails, beautiful open patio, absolutely cooooking space heaters for the anemic girls like me, and the sweetest waiter of all time who gave us a free vegan key lime customized grad dessert - my fam and I aren't huge on vegan replacements so we mostly opted for naturally vegan dishes: the pad Thai (loved the varying textures from the differently cooked vegetables and the hefty portion), the Brussels (hard to uniquely do brussels with such popularity but these had were different than most), the grilled peach salad (the pistachio butter...the freshness WOW), and the artichoke hearts - the kung pao tofu sauce was salty yet sweet and they did not slack with filling the dish for those mega sauce girls like me. it's a must order - artichoke hearts were labeled as stuffed but they weren't sadly, however the vegan lemon aioli didn't taste vegan at all, it was amazingly light and zesty paired with the charred artichoke - vegan dessert was daunting but the crust was a 10/10 and as long as you didn't think too much about the filling being vegan it was delicious

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I couldn't have loved my experience more and I can't wait to go back. I have to start off by saying that "Tapas / Shared Plates" places scare me. The portions are generally so tiny and the bill ends up a headache if you want to feel that you've actually had a full meal. Not at Oliver's. These aren't your average shared plates. I was really impressed by the presentation, fair portions, and big punch of flavor. Our table of two shared the Spinach & Artichoke Flatbread and the Scallop Pesto Bucatini. I laughed when I took my first bite because it was so good! I want to try everything on their menu, but I can't imagine not having these two plates again. I highly recommend these two items for your first visit. The scallops (mushrooms) were absolute perfection. The pesto was the best I've ever had (rival to my homemade masterpiece) and the Spinach & Artichoke Pizza was just fantastic. The food exceeded all of my wildest expectations. The one thing I would caution is that it is difficult to split the Bucatini with someone. But it's so tasty .. I got the Oaxacan Old Fashion, sold on the mention of chocolate bitters because of another chocolate old fashion I've had and I was a little disappointed because it didn't live up to it. I think it may have been due to the Mezcal's smokiness overpowering it for me. In future, I would try something else. And if you're looking for that weird and magical chocolate drink I compare to all others: it's called "Bumbuzzled" at Cane Tiki in Paso Robles. The atmosphere of Oliver's is modern rustic chic with a touch of ethereal with the inclusion of the most beautiful tree lighting. And of course location-wise it's smack dab in the middle of Montecito. Parking is tricky. We parked a fair distance down the road and walked because the actual parking lot has an abruptly angled driveway I didn't want to take a chance in a low car with. Pricing wise, we got the two plates and two cocktails and our bill was just under $100, which we both felt was fair for the setting, quality of food, portions, and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
My daughter and I are vacationing in Santa Bárbara and decided to try Oliver's. The ambience was nice and the food was okay. What made things weird at the end was that our waiter seemed annoyed that my daughter didn't touch her food. He asked us if we wanted to thrash it. He had very little compassionate or concern over our dining experience. It made my daughter feel bad. I understand you can't control the customer's experience, but please show some compassion and care about it. On a side note, my daughter left her purse behind and a sweet waitress chased us to the car to give it to us. Thank you so much for that!

Yelp
Fantastic food, great ambiance! We got the heirloom tomato stack. It's one of the best things either of us has eaten in an awhile. Everything was the exact ripeness, texture, seasoning, sauces... just perfection. We also got the Kung pow cauliflower, as well as the vegan sausage flatbread. The cauliflower was good, but we didn't adore it. The vegan sausage flatbread we definitely would order again. A really great meal that you would tell people about. That's pretty rare for me!

Yelp
We drove up the coast yesterday from Los Angeles for a birthday dinner at Olivers. My sister in law is vegan and thought that this restaurant was beautiful and wanted to try multiple things on the menu. We're not vegan but it was her birthday. The service was over the top amazing! Everyone was so kind and helpful, we brought our own cake and they offered us candles and plates and forks. Service was great the entire dinner, got water refills without asking, checked on us multiple times. As non vegans we thought the food was phenomenal, perfectly cooked and seasoned. So well seasoned! We ended up enjoying it more than my SIL, her and her boyfriend who are vegans thought the food was just okay. We ordered multiple dishes, the Thai curry, pad Thai, Oliver's burger, kung pao cauliflower, the ceviche: the favorites were the pad Thai, burger and kung pao. Any of their drinks can be non alcoholic, which is nice. We enjoyed it. Overall experience was a 4/5.

Yelp
Hubby and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to go somewhere special. A friend told us about this place and we couldn't wait to go. Also, for those allergic to peanuts like myself, this menu is peanut free. Amazing food and service! Our waiter was Sam and he was great and very attentive- highly recommend! Everything on the me is shareable and he suggested 3-4 items for two. We ended up having four items on the list and two desserts. It was more than enough food! We wanted to try everything, but our eyes are bigger than our stomachs. We will definitely be coming back to try more items. Vegan or not, you'll enjoy the food and atmosphere. - Kung Pao Cauliflower: 5/5 So so good and great flavor. Definitely ordering again! - Truffle potatoes: 4.25/5 - Butternut squash rigatoni: 5/5 Love anything butternut squash and the flavors just hit perfectly. I'd order again! - Bahn Mí: 4/5 - Endless Summer cocktail: 5/5 - Sweet Potato Beignets: 5/5 - Fudge Tart: 4/5

Yelp
Oliver's is great! I've been finding myself in a couple of vegan spots lately and I'm not vegan by any stretch of the imagination. I'm one of those who will not dare consume an animal product in my coffee drinks, like could not pay me any amount of money in the world to drink cows milk - but will devour an entire block of cheese a couple hours later. I eat what I want, when I want but my sister is Vegan and I'm totally not opposed to others living that life. I bake a bunch of vegan items and I really do love a lot of vegan options but the commitment to an entire lifestyle isn't right for me. I'd asked my bestie if we could grab dinner at Oliver's on our way home the other night. We usually eat brekke at Jeannine's or grab coffee and pastries in Montecito on our way out to wine tasting in Los Olivos but we are never quite in need for dinner on the return because we've either already eaten a bit sooner than we hit Coast Village Rd. or I've way overdid it on McConnell's froyo stop a couple exits before here. Either way, I knew I wanted to grab dinner so I intentionally asked the gal at McConnell's to only give me half of my froyo order because I needed to fit in dinner tonight. My bestie is definitely not vegan so I didn't mention to him this restaurant was and as it got closer to dinner, I simply suggested this spot might be "vegetarian" I didn't want to totally scare him off of the idea. We'd eaten a late lunch and ordered a few plates to share which was plenty! We shared the Apple Salad, Kung Pao Cauliflower and Spinach & Artichoke Flatbread. All three dishes were very yummy. We both really enjoyed the salad, but agreed that the Spinach & Artichoke flatbread was our fav. It was super filling and would be a great share for a larger dining party. As much as I wanted to try dessert and under normal circumstances would have totally tried to do dessert (my froyo) before and dessert after dinner, my dessert stomach was already full and we had to table that one for our next visit. Service was great, the salad came out quickly and the other dishes seemed to take a bit longer but it was a Sunday evening and we had no place else in the world to be so it didn't matter much. We'll definitely return in the future. This is a great option if you are staying in the area or passing through and want a really scrumptious meal in a nice calm atmosphere. It was a chilly night and as lovely as the patio was I wanted to cozy up in a corner booth and keep warm indoors. The patio seems perfect for warmer evenings. Plenty of street parking out front.

Yelp
Visited this place on a Tuesday night with my girlfriend on our visit to Santa Barbara. We extended our trip just to have dinner at Oliver's and we are glad we did, because it was a perfect wrap up to our wonderful trip. The ambiance was amazing, and the service was top notch. Our server, Sam was quite knowledgeable and conversational. We ordered the cauliflower, banh mi and the chocolate cake. The first two dishes were perfect 10/10s, but the cake could be better imho. Overall though, it was a great meal for us, as vegetarians we appreciate the thought put into creating genuinely high quality vegetarian dishes, which is rare. We definitely plan on visiting again :)

Yelp
This was such a lovely experience. I snagged a rather last minute reservation for a birthday dinner. We sat outside on the patio, where it was plenty warm with ample heat lamps. We got the potatoes, the apple salad thing, and the bucatini. Everything was good. The scallops (mushrooms) in the bucatini were probably my favorite things. So tender, yet firm and elasticky. This was totally enough food for the two of us. We also got the old fashioned with mezcal, and the tropical bourbon thing. The tropical bourbon thing was fine, the mezcal old fashioned was our favorite. Bathrooms were single stall, and clean. Parking is probably best on street, because the parking lot looked really small. Besides, parking is restricted to 90 minutes, but that ends at 6pm, so if you're there for dinner, it isn't really a problem. We were there on a Saturday night around 6, and there was street parking aplenty. Will totally hit up this place again next time we're in town.

Yelp
Oliver's is such a cute restaurant! We were very pleased with the entire experience. The staff was amazing- attentive and friendly. The outdoor ambiance is beautiful with outdoor lighting and fire pits that creates an intimate setting. There were plenty of heat lamps around to keep you warm. There is also indoor seating too! For dinner we had the artichoke flatbread, tomato salad, and jackfruit tacos... they were all very tasty! Oliver's is also family friendly, they had high chairs for children. They also offered pasta or cheese pizza for children to eat. I would definitely come back to Oliver's again. It's a great place for a nice dinner as a couple, family, or even a date night with drinks at the bar. Aesthetically, the bar was incredibly chic. I loved it. To note: parking is on the street from what I am aware, not in the actual plaza as it is saved for hotel guests there.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience, decent service and tasty vegan food with a revolving menu. Outdoors is a lovely patio surrounded by trees and ample heat.

Yelp
By far my favorite Vegan restaurant to frequent. I'm not Vegan but I truly appreciate the craft. I have not found a fish that disappoints. The flavors involved are incredible and you can tell that the ingredients are incredibly fresh! A great place to visit with friends and share plates or to visit on a date night. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Outdoor ambiance is romantic and beautifully designed, service is excellent, food delicious (even if you are not a vegetarian you will will not be disappointed).

Yelp
Delicious food, thoughtful service, romantic setting... every aspect of Oliver's is exquisite. As a non-vegan person, however, I do not recommend the dessert. I bake weekly and am def a dessert snob, so take this with a grain of salt. I've been lucky enough to enjoy dinner here twice, and can't wait for the next opportunity. Worth the drive from Los Angeles!

Yelp
Called the manager a month in advance to discuss dinner reservation after getting engaged. He was very attentive on the phone. When we showed up, completely forgot about getting engaged. We sat down, but the restaurant did not offer anything to us to help celebrate. Let me be clear... not asking for anything for free... however this was our engagement day... would have paid double if they could have said in advance they would do something special for the evening. The food was delicious and the cocktails were ok. The ambience is great but the seating caters to an older crowd.

Yelp
Wow, what a great experience. Absolutely incredible and not just because it's vegan. The service is amazing. The food is mind blowing and the drinks are top-notch. Can't say enough. Just a wonderful place.

Yelp
Ambiance - 10/10 Get a table outside in their beautiful patio with lots of greenery and string lights and heat warmers. It's literally perfect. Service - 10/10 Very helpful and friendly server. All recommendations were on point. Food - 15/10 Ok, this is a vegetarian/vegan persons heaven. It's tapas style so we ordered literally everything as we were 8 girls. My favs: Thai curry - delicious Pad Thai - one of the best noodles Shishito peppers - very nicely done with abundant sauces Kung pan cauliflower - so delicious, must try! Ceviche - was so fresh Highly highly recommend this place and don't forget to make reservations!

Yelp
The food was amazing, the menu had so many yummy options. The ambience just sealed the deal, our service was also very good delightful. It was a good experience overall

Yelp
It was exciting to find an all-vegan fancy restaurant. We got the artichoke "crab cakes," the braised mushroom ravioli, and the pear & gorgonzola flatbread. Everything was delicious! We enjoyed the blend of flavors in all of the dishes and the variety of the menu offerings. We were already full but we opted for dessert because the dessert options sounded too good. We got the chocolate fudge tart. It was delicious! Rich, decadent, and had a gorgeous presentation. We were very satisfied with our entire meal. The outdoor patio was lovely and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Santa Barbara!

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious!! Fantastic vegan food that was amazing tasting and served fresh and in a professional manner. My wife and I had the artichokes and shishito peppers, which were the most amazing tasting appetizers I have ever had. The peppers were out of this world, it was a great culinary experience. The Italian sausage flatbread was sensational, nicely spiced , very tasty and hot!. My wife had the bahn mi which she absolutely loved. The tofu was grilled to perfection and the Vietnamese flavors were so fresh. I had a jalapeño lemonade which was spicy and delicious. The waitress was extremely helpful, professional and knew all the items on the menu. She was fantastic. Overall this place is a must to go to. A sensational vegan experience that my wife and I will definitely repeat .

Yelp
We loved Oliver's! As first time diners here, we agree with the other glowing Yelp reviews. It's a beautiful space which provides a setting for a delightful dining experience. We ordered many dishes: the fingerling truffle potatoes, the artichoke crab cakes, the artichoke and spinach flatbread, the jackfruit taco, the Oliver's apple salad and the key lime pie. Every dish was truly delicious. All of the flavors were fresh and complex and sublime. It was fun to taste everything. Our first favorite was the flatbread! The service was also friendly and caring. We will certainly return again and again when we visit Santa Barbara and try more dishes!!

Yelp
An absolute wonderful experience. The service was quick and friendly. Our table was next to the window so we got to see the sunset. Our seats were also super comfortable so we never wanted to leave! I highly recommend all 3 things we ordered. Truffle potatoes, braised mushroom ravioli, and olivers burger. If the person you visit with isn't a vegan, these dishes are sure to win. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
It was so refreshing as someone who cannot eat dairy to go to a restaurant and have the opportunity to choose anything from the menu! We had a reservation for 7pm and were promptly seated inside a quaint little room with a cozy ambiance. We started with the Kung Pao Cauliflower which hit all the right spots and was a delightful start to the dinner. Next, I ordered Oliver's Burger with the sweet potato fries. The coconut bacon was definitely an interesting addition but overall I enjoyed the flavor profile of the burger, sweet potato fries, and green side dressing. We ended the night with a warm maple apple cobbler. The ice cream had a coconut-y taste that paired SO well with the warm apple dessert. I would honestly come back just for the dessert! Overall, a 10/10 experience and I hope to visit again soon to try all the tasty offerings.

Yelp
I like their improved menu. I still like to see more items like I see at crossroads kitchen. Their drinks are excellent I just wish they made their own juices Or better understood who they are supporting given where they are sourcing their juices. Whether you're plant-based for your Health or because of animals or because of civil rights issues, this may be of interest to some customers. It's nice to eat and support businesses that align with doing good., So Olivers is doing that in many ways except for where they purchase their juice. We've been learning a lot about how to walk the talk with the environment, human rights, and well-being. Switch for good has some excellent information on this. We appreciate that Olivers gives us a true vegan all plant-based option and beautiful montecito Plus - It's usually got a good energy. Pretty lights. Good looking service. And it's wonderful to eat so healthy... Delicious plant-based. Thank you Olivers

Yelp
For our girls weekend, we decided to check out Oliver's vegan restaurant. It's a quick walk from any of the rooms if you're staying at the Coast Village inn. The outdoor patio is stunning with the most picturesque lights and gorgeous trees. Even though we were outside, the heaters kept us warm and we felt comfortable the entire time. Hands down the best part of our meal was our cocktails. The endless summer drink was to die for. I also highly recommend the pear and arugula flatbread, though we enjoyed everything we ate! I don't typically eat a lot of vegan cuisine but we loved this place and we're already planning another visit.

Yelp
Another great visit! Dined here today with 5 others for my birthday. This was my first visit back since the pandemic. Indoor dining was closed but outdoor dining was thriving. Social distancing was in place and employees were masked. The menu was as extensive as it was pre-pandemic. This time were ordered 3 Artichoke Crab Cakes, 2 Mushroom Tostadas, Brussel Sprouts, 3 Impossible Burgers, a bowl of Butternut Squash Soup, Spinach and Artichoke Flatbread, Ravioli, 2 cabs and a Billy Billy. As usual, everything came out quickly and was amazing! We ordered our favorites so we knew what to expect. The only new items we ordered was the ravioli and the flatbread. The flatbread was my favorite dish. The ravioli was really good but filling. Service was up to par and outstanding. Our server, Lyle S., was friendly, helpful and attentive. Oliver's is a solid, consistently good destination restaurant.

Yelp
4.5 stars My partner and I had reservations on New Year's Eve. We were quickly seated and were well attended to. I ordered the Mr. Pink and I highly recommend. For food we decided to share the Dragon fruit ceviche, braised mushroom ravioli, and the Italian sausage peppadew. The star was the Braised mushroom ravioli. I was impressed with the amount of flavor they were able to add in the sauce. I highly recommend adding this to your order. The next best was the Italian sausage peppadew. It was delicious but not something I would order again. Last was the Dragon fruit ceviche. I would not call this a ceviche in my opinion. It was fresh and light so it brought a nice balance to our food. Would I order again? Probably not. For dessert we had the sweet potato beignets. This was a light dessert that was heavenly. Definitely order! The server recommended the apple crumble (not sure if that's the correct name) and I hope to try that next as it also sounds yum! Overall I had a great experience and I'm looking forward to visiting again.

Yelp
Great ambiance, service was okay. Food servings were actually big and could share. Would go back

Yelp
Even several of our non-vegetarian friends have claimed this to be their favorite restaurant in Montecito/Santa Barbara! We couldn't have had a nicer meal last night. The environment is perfect; a bit hip and very classy, but never trying too hard to be casual and comfortable either. Their soups are among the best we've had anywhere in the world. Love it!

Yelp
When we were in Santa Barbara two years ago, we dined here two nights in a row because the food was so phenomenal. Last night, we returned expecting the same experience. Sadly, the food was lackluster and overpriced. I don't think we will return on our next visit to SB. Service was great, but it couldn't supersede the blasé offerings.

Yelp
Delicious food! The Oliver burger is epic! Patio setting is lovely. Cauliflower tasty too. Not too noisy, which I always appreciate. Good service

Yelp
As a vegan, every time I stop in Santa Barbara I go to Oliver's. 2023 is the last time I ever return. The service is just terrible all of a sudden. They rush you out of here like there's no tomorrow and it's rude. I had a great server the last time I was here in august of '22. A man. But now, the blonde woman, Brook, will rush you out of the place, slamming down the bill at the same time you order desert. The food also tasted like it was sitting out for a while then placed in the microwave right before I ordered it. This place is only expensive because of the location. It's all show and no go. I've had better vegan food and much more polite service at a vegan FAST FOOD restaurant in Los Angeles. My god has this place turned into a travesty.

Yelp
Oh boy, oh boy! I told Chloe that I felt like I died and went to heaven. BTW, Chloe is one if not the sweetest ever. She was one of three that took care of us and made our experience UNFORGETTABLE! Sam was the other person who was the waiter with all the suggestions to how and what to order. I have to give a BIG thank you to the wonderful staff. We came for the food and you guys took our experience to another level. I will repeat what Arnold said " We'll be back" Job well done you guys! 10 stars********** This establishment serves one if the most delicious and freshest vegan dishes (if you are here for beef, chicken or seafood, you better hit the road Jack). The Booze: -Sage & Confused. My daughter loved it. - Modern times oat meal coffee stout...Yummy! - Pinkus organic pilsner. - Swami's IPA...yummy! They also have nice selection of Wine for all of you wine lovers. We tried 6 delicious dishes recommended by Sam. ***** Kung Pao Cauliflower. ***** Dragon Fruit Ceviche. ***** Pear and Gorgonzola- Flatbread. ***** Artichoke Crab Cake. ***** Brussels Sprouts. ***** Scallop Pesto Bucatini. ***** For the roasted corn soup. I was the only one to order it and I wish had ordered a bowl. All were delicious and everyone can share. All dishes were enough to fill up all 4 of us. The Desert: Don't ask me the names please lol. All what I know they were delicious. Listen to me Boyz and girlz...You have to try this place out and prove me wrong if you can, and if you give this place anything less than 5 stars then you are a meathead. Hours 5 to 9 Reservations required.

Yelp
Fine dining at its finest! We were truly blown away by the care and service of the staff at this restaurant. The standards are high here, so expect to be blown away. 5 stars for the service 5 starts for the food Our waiter was Sam, what a guy! He made us feel very special. We sat in the outdoor patio in the evening with heaters, it was so cute and cozy. The inside bar also looked very clean and luxurious. We are a lot!!! This was our meal for 2 people lol: Eggplant and zucchini stack-the pesto in there was the best I've ever had. The mix of flavors was outstanding. Mushroom tostada, another incredible combination of ingredients. Mushroom ravioli had a bolognese like sauce any took me back to my childhood days. Very nostalgic. Grilled artichokes - the lemon aioli was addictive and the artichoke hearts were grilled to perfection. We each had a glass of the gruñer, per Sam's suggestion bc we like dry whites and it was crisp and mineral-y to our delight. My date had a margarita type drink, can't recall the name, but extra spicy and with mezcal. So refreshing. I went for a mr pinks bc I was feeling some gin and it was was very delicious. Not overly sweet! For dessert we got the apple crumble which was perfect in texture and the coconut sorbet it comes with was so light and creamy. We also had the sweet potato filled beignets which were little drops of heaven. Not greasy and Al and paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream and a mix of berries. An explosion of flavors I must say. I've been to so many vegan/plant based restaurants (mostly in Los Angeles) but this was by far the best one I've been to and hope to come back and try more dishes!

Yelp
One of the best plant-based restaurants I have ever been to. We went on Halloween and the place was packed, but we still got a fantastic table service. The menu has a lot to offer with a big variety of gluten-free options. We definitely want to come back to try more! We ordered braised mushroom ravioli (my favorite so far), Italian sausage & peppadew flatbread, and Oliver's burger. Everything was delicious, and the texture was not compromised on the gluten-free meals. As dessert we got a complimentary lime cheesecake for my birthday that was delicious TIP make sure to have a reservation PROS - gluten-free options - delicious plant-based food - a variety of options in the menu - excellent service - a beautiful ambiance perfect for celebrations CONS - Parking can be a bit challenging, but maybe this was our experience because of Halloween - On the pricey side (but worth it in my opinion)

Yelp
My partner and I went here for our anniversary! The atmosphere was intimate and beautiful. The food. Was. Amazing! We got the truffle potatoes, and spinach and artichoke flat bread ! Flatbread for the win!!! Then for the main course my fiancé got the braised mushroom ravioli! She loved it! I got the crab cakes . It was delish! Then for dessert we got a chocolate tart and a key lime pie. Both of which were scrumptious! Will definitely return!

Yelp
Oliver's has totally changed my mind on vegetarian. I don't eat a lot of red meat anyway, but often vegetarian runs the risk of lacking in flavor. Not at Oliver's. The hummus was some of the best we'd ever had. The drinks?! DELICIOUS. The service was impeccable. I'd recommend the artichokes, the hummus, the flatbread. Truly Oliver's has encouraged me to start vegetarian cooking at home more often.

Yelp
A really outstanding dining experience. Food was very (very) good, service was outstanding, a very enjoyable bottle of wine certainly helped. Expensive, but worth every penny. Unless you are a regular I would view Oliver's as a small plate establishment. The two of us ordered 4 plates; the two dishes that were not spicy were served first (Artichoke Cakes, Brussels Sprouts). We were periodically tactfully watched so the spicier dishes (Kung Pao Cauliflower, Shishito Peppers) could be prepared and served as we were finishing what amounted to a first course. We were both extremely happy with the four dishes we ordered, getting unfinished portions boxed so we could enjoy desert with excellent coffee. The Key Lime pie was the perfect finish to a perfect meal. In addition to the small plates the menu includes flatbreads and sandwiches. If I lived in the area and ate frequently at Oliver's the options would be appreciated. As a visitor, as mentioned previously, I would recommend the small plates. As others have mentioned, the outdoor dining area (where we ate) is well situated, overlooking the shopping area across the street and the menu is fully vegan. Adding to the enjoyment, we walked to the restaurant from downtown Santa Barbara, about a 1 hour walk largely along the beach and a Bird Refuge, taking an Uber back. Definitely would return on a future visit to Santa Barbara.
