Oliver Saddle Shop

I stopped by the shop in early October and purchased a new belt to go with my grandfather's belt buckle. The craftsmanship and work were spectacular, prompt delivery. The pictures I posted really don't do the belt justice as the hand tooled detail is fantastic. If you are looking for real hand tooled craftsmanship this is the definitely the place to go.

What a great experience I had here. Olivers was able to work on my old saddle: replacing concho straps and repairing stitching on my skirt. They even provided me with some brand new fender straps. I was originally quoted 2wks on the repair time as they had a bit of backlog but was VERY happy and surprised to get a call letting me know my saddel was ready for pickup just 5 days later! My saddle looks great and I should get another good chunk of years out of it now. Its also nice to know that when I need repairs done, even if they didnt build the saddle, that these guys are both reputable, reliable, and super helpfull and friendly.

I have been doing business with Oliver's Saddle Shop for at least 35 years mostly when their daddies were building Saddles but from what I have seen these men have followed their daddy's tradition in building the finest quality Saddles there are especially if you're looking for a cowboy saddle they will build you one that will last a lifetime

If you are looking for old school and authentic, this is the place for you. This is real Cowboy gear, used by real cowboys. Friendly, knowledgeable folks who enjoy their work and their customers populate the place. It is a pleasure to visit and I recommend that you do so.

While on a road trip hubby wanted to stop in at the famous Oliver Saddle Shop. He was not disappointed. The staff, in particular Bryan Oliver, was so gracious. They promptly took him to the back room to watch the saddle making and leather working in process. I could have left hubby there for hours :-). And no one can resist that heavenly leather smell. We'll look forward to coming back the next time we're in town.
