We ordered Oliver's through Door Dash last night. My wife and I ordered nachos, a kraut dog, and two desserts. The desserts were missing and the kraut dog was missing three ingredients. Going through Door Dash's customer service will get you some money back, but it won't make you whole by sending your items. I sent an email to the restaurant directly, expecting not to hear anything, but I was rooting for this restaurant, so I wanted them to hear my disappointment.
Here is why they are getting five stars. The owner called me back within minutes, confirmed my issues with the order, explained what happened from his perspective, contacted Door Dash, refunded the entire order, accepted responsibility, and apologized. I put a lot of faith in people with integrity. In my email, I said we would not be back, but after his expert handling of our business, we will give them another opportunity. We'll either go there or order in soon. I want to thank the owner personally. I appreciated his reaching out and properly correcting the situation.
The nachos were delicious.
