"A plush house in the centre of the village, a glass-paned wine cellar, a bar with an Art Deco look, a chic and inviting dining room: welcome to Olivier Leflaive's place! The famous Côte de Beaune winegrower has created two eateries. Le Bistro d'Olivier offers a seasonal menu inspired by local produce, and the restaurant Klima has more fine dining ambitions. Great wine list, needless to say, thanks to the estate's 80 appellations." - Michelin Inspector

Olivier Leflaive Hôtel Restaurants, a Design Boutique Hotel Puligny-Montrachet, France

"There is style and soul in this House! The 17th century character building designed as a family home overlooks the village square. The 17 rooms of the establishment have been furnished with comfort and refinement. They all bear the first name of a member of the family with a mix of furniture found throughout Europe. If you feel good there, it is because the masters of the place have taken care to distill their desire to receive everywhere. Exposed beams, freestone, large volumes, wooden floors give the authenticity of the place as if to remind that Burgundy is above all a land of tradition. Flamboyant touches are mixed in, reflecting the artistic side of Olivier Leflaive and his daughter Julie. In terms of dining, the unique Bistro d'Olivier offers you lunch in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere while tasting the House's wines. A frank, direct cuisine, going to the essential of the taste with respect for the product: the cuisine of memory. The Klima Restaurant, meanwhile, tends towards the search for the perfect match. The Burgundian chef Lionel Freitas creates a passionate and creative gastronomic cuisine, in dialogue with the most beautiful terroirs of the vineyard. Olivier Leflaive Hotel**** and Restaurants also offers many wine tourism activities allowing you to discover all the subtleties and richness of Burgundy and Burgundy wines. With free parking on site, the property is the ideal base for easily exploring the vineyard by car or bike." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Olivier Leflaive Hôtel Restaurant (Puligny-Montrachet, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"This is not just a hotel, but a hotel attached to a restaurant — actually a pair of restaurants — owned by a winemaker. The Olivier Leflaive Hôtel Restaurant is set in a 17th-century house overlooking the Puligny-Montrachet village square. The building is rich with historical atmosphere, while inside the hotel’s 17 rooms, the style is Deco-influenced contemporary-classic, eminently palatable and satisfyingly plush. And the headline restaurant, the gastronomic Klima, is joined by a second one, the more casual Bistro d’Olivier. Both, as you might expect, feature encyclopedic collections of wines from the Olivier Leflaive estate." - Tablet Hotels

It was our first time to Côte d’Or, we chose this hotel because we love their wonderful wines.||We stayed 5 short nights which seemed too short….||From booking to arranging activities to actual staying in the hotel, we received great responsive help from the hotel, specifically Rachel.||Once we stepped into hotel, we were greeted by warm welcome. Staffs were ultra friendly and helpful. Room was big and tastefully decorated. We quickly felt like home. Olivier and Patrick’s hospitality added tremendous personal touches. We really treasured that and felt privileged, particularly we were on a 35 day personal food and wine tour in Burgundy and Tuscany.||Wine cellar tour conducted by Monsieur Olivier was the best we ever had. He jokingly called himself a dumb old man which was far from the truth. He is a humorous, sharp, experienced wine master and astute businessman.||The hotel bistro and Restaurant Klim served top class meals with excellent services and good selection of Olivier Leflaive wines. |They made us felt so welcomed and relaxed that we felt like being in home kitchen.||Overall, this hotel is fantastic!

We truly enjoyed our week here but the highlight was by far the dinner at klima. The food, great; the service, star worthy; and the wine pairing by Claire, outstanding. Never before have wines matched or contrasted the food as fitting as at klima and this really brought the already delicious food to another level. We tried the vegetarian and „normal“ options and both were great, which we know is not an easy feat. The Olivier suite was also a great hotel room with a seperate lounge area, a good, firm mattress and a huge rain shower. If time allows, we will be back!

This hotel is a true gem! It is beautifully located in the heart of the best wine area in Burgundy, and the staff are incredibly friendly.||||Our stay has been wonderful from start to finish. The restaurant offers a nice selection of carefully curated dishes that are just the right size. The waitstaff are highly skilled, combining personal touches with top-notch professionalism. The sommelier guided us warmly and knowledgeably through their wine selections.||||The hotel manager went above and beyond to assist us, helping with reservations at excellent restaurants, arranging taxis, and ensuring we could attend tours of the cellar and vineyard.||||I highly recommend trying the bike tour with a lunch package. Riding through the vineyards and enjoying lunch in the open greenery was a delightful experience.

All of our experiences at Olivier Leflaive were perfect. It was our first time visiting Burgundy, and we are filled with happy memories. The room condition was excellent, and the tiny, cute welcome cookies made me smile. Especially the restaurant Klima — it was fantastic. Not only was the dinner course wonderful, but all the staff were also friendly and professional. Someday we will definitely return to Olivier Leflaive.||||All the services were great, but I would like to give one piece of advice regarding your website. Please check the information about prices and inclusions shown there. For example, I had read that the “Vélo Picnic” included a bottle of white wine (Les Sétilles), but none of the staff seemed to know about this. It was mentioned on your website, but during the picnic we did not receive any wine except the ones served with meals. That was the only downside of our stay.

Google
More than a positive experience — we stayed two nights at the hotel, enjoyed an à la carte tasting at the bar, and had dinner at the Klima restaurant. The welcome was both professional and warm from the entire staff, starting with the Leflaive brothers themselves. Unlike many other high-end establishments where courtesy toward guests feels formal or superficial, at Leflaive the desire to make guests happy is genuinely shared by everyone working there. Two very small notes that did not affect the overall experience: the bathroom’s air circulation is not optimal, and at times unpleasant odors can spread into the anteroom (understandable, considering the building’s age). Also, there was a bit of confusion in the confirmation emails (partly due to the fact that I booked both a single night’s stay and a dinner package for the second night), with several messages showing partial prices for the various services in a somewhat disorganized way.

We visited for 1 night for our wedding anniversary. This level of hotel is not something we normally afford, but it was well worth it. Beautiful setting, very smart and the food was the best tasting menu I’ve experienced. The wine was pretty special as well!||||My only ask would be to provide a tour/tasting for those arriving in the afternoon

Google
A wonderful stop in Burgundy. A smart hotel, with excellent service, comfortable rooms and a fantastic restaurant. Puligny-Montrachet is small and quiet, but this hotel in the village square is very welcoming and a great place to stop for a couple of days. ||We have visited previously for the fantastic wine and have been on the vineyard tour before so this time we decided to be a little silly and book the wine bike tour. To our surprise Olivier himself came out to take the tour and drive the wine bike. Be warned you do have to pedal! (though the battery helps a bit) |The man is so charming and welcoming to all his guests, and was happy to answer all the questions whilst sharing his love for the area and his vines. His brother Patrick was frequently checking in with guests at dinner or in the bar to make sure everyone was happy at the hotel.||If you love White Burgundy in particular this place is the jewel in its crown, and what a fantastic hotel to experience it from.

Yelp
An amazing restaurant and hotel! We stayed in the hotel, given that Puligny-Montrachet was a perfect location for a night to be spend during our biking trip on the wine road of Burgundy. On the suggestion of the staff, we reserved a table at their restaurant and were all but disappointed. First off, the cooking here is amazing. The card is not large, like in most good french restaurants. It's basically the Chef's menu + a couple of options. My partner went with the menu and absolutely liked her courgettes crème with soft cheese as well as the fish, whereas I thoroughly enjoyed my meat cocotte (excellent doneness, excellent sauce, excellent potato grattin) and paté en croute with whites for the latter and reds for the former. For the dessert I ordered their chocolate mousse - excellent, although a bit bitter, that paired extraordinarily well with a red advised by their caviste. Finally, to finish the meal I ordered a Premier Cru Puligny-Montrachet white. It was absolutely amazing - I enjoyed it for a solid half an hour while my partner was enjoying her Champagne Rosé. Their wine collection deserves a special mention. We were tasting the wines by the glass and were advised on the pairings by the staff wine expert. We were pleasantly surprised by how well of pairings the wine expert was recommending, as well as the general quality of the wines. In fact we liked some of them so much, we ordered several bottles after checking out from the hotel. The service is excellent, but the place is all but cheap (count 80 - 250 for a dinner for two, depending on what you order and the wines by the glass that you will order) and requires a certain dress code. But it's totally worth it. The hotel itself gets bonus point for excellent consumables, calm location and high accessibility of all the common spaces and rooms. Overall, excellent experience. On the expensive side, but worth it, especially if you like wines.

Yelp
Berore you come here first you must decide IF you like Chardonnay or not. We do not but decided to expand our experience only to confirm our distaste. But if you like Chardonnay then cone here. 6 different terrior's with complete different aromas and intensity yet at the same time same color and general initial bouquet. The food accompanying was 5-Star!

Yelp
Stayed here twice this month... wonderful people, accommodations, food and wine in a small village outside Beaune.....in Puligny-Montrachet . The wines are great, the rooms are inviting, the staff is wonderful in the hotel and restaurant! The restaurant menu is small but well done, or go for tasting menu, you won't be disappointed!! Rent bikes and ride through the vineyards you won't be sorry......

Yelp
Memories of a trip from the past. We got two rooms and oh I wish I took the time to take more pictures but the images in my mind are everlasting. Wonderful service and even more wonderful bathroom. We received two rooms one for family and one for single in the party. The family room was of the suite and the little ones enjoyed the sun of the private patio area. My favorite part was the food. On the first night we drove from Zurich after work and arrived quite late. We were not hungry but he said he had food and wine pairings waiting so we felt rude to say no. As soon as we took a whiff of the cheese walking through the doors we were suddenly as if we have never seen food before and ate everything in front of us. Much brag that Switzerland has the best cheese, but what good is cheese without the right wine?

Yelp
You MUST participate in the vineyard tour, which is led by one of the winemakers and concludes in the winery with one of the Leflaive brothers. Folks, this is an outstanding effort by Olivier Leflaive! We also highly recommend spending a few nights, nay a week at La Maison d'Olivier Leflaive, which is located in the centre of the vineyards of Puligny-Montrachet in a picturesque 17th century building. Thirteen very nice and spacious rooms with modern facilities........read more with tasting notes

Yelp
May 2015 A perfect relaxing enjoyable getaway. Stayed in the lovely "Mod" themed room, and did the wine tour and tasting which I highly recommend. The first half of the tour was given by Anna who was very friendly and informative... And the second half by Olivier Leflaive! Learned so much and was so funny. The entire staff is wonderful. Great to stroll around the village and take in the surroundings. It was the highlight of our trip.

Yelp
We did the vineyard and winery tours as well as the pairing lunch. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We learned so much on the tours, which made the rest of our visit to the area even more enjoyable because we felt like we knew more about the wines we were tasting and what goes into them. The lunch was amazing with spot on pairings. Highly recommend.
