"Located in Ypsilanti’s historic Depot Town, Ollie serves seasonal New American dishes made with locally-grown ingredients. The restaurant’s knowledgeable mixologists have created a drink menu filled with inventive cocktails like the Postcard from Affair — a refreshingly fruity concoction of vodka, byrrh quinquina, lemon, ginger, muddled blackberry, lemon grass, and bolivar bitters." - John Reyes

We stopped in for drinks. The decor has a prohibition whiskey- bar feel. They had a huge selection of whiskey and offered several signature drinks. They also have many draft beer choices including some mico-brews that will knock your socks off. While we enjoyed our drinks, we learned that they offer food that several patrons raved about. All of the dishes are made from locally sourced ingredients. We returned the following week for dinner. The menu isn't huge but they offer everything from vegan dishes to traditional comfort foods with healthy and fresh nontraditional ingredients. Everything was delicious. We had "Not your Mama's Spaghetti", chicken and dumplings, and by far, the best dish was the coffee roasted pork. It was phenomenal! It is so flavorful and tender. I loved all of the delicious, colorful ingredients that complimented the meat perfectly. We also tried the rhubarb bruschetta. It was so different and delicious. The whole experience was great. I also love the wall art which sparked lots of conversation at our table.

Ahhhhmazing!!! We will definitely be back! I can't wait to try breakfast/brunch! Not just vegetarian/vegan friendly, but catered to the crowd. I had the Strange Brood Mac and Cheese which was 1000x better than I had hoped followed by a Spice Girl shake that was perfection. Also sampled my husband's Paul Reubens sandwich which was fantastic. I can't wait to come back!!! (Service was great too and it wasn't even crowded on Friday night!)

The food and drinks here were delicious and I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and great service. It's a nice place to come after work for some light eats and great drinks. I definitely want to try dessert next time!

Ollie has quickly become my go to spot! The food is unbelievable and they have seasonal menus that feature local produce with a ton of vegan options. The cocktails are on point, great beer/wine selection and their happy hour deals are unbeatable! Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Service was slow even with almost nobody in the restraunt. Took almost 15 minutes to receive drinks and order was very simple. Food came out much faster, but was lacking flavor. I enjoyed the perogies and salad, but with the limited menu I was hoping for more of a wow.

Very solid craft cocktails here. I’m loving my “Tannis Root”, one of the signature cocktails here at Ollie Food + Spirits. I sipped a taste of a classic cocktail as well — the Corpse Reviver #2 elevated with Liberator gin. These are 2 very different drinks, but both are well balanced. If you are in the Ypsilanti area or Ann Arbor, check it out.

I love coming here for the themed Sunday brunch. The menu is always so fun and creative. The food is amazing, so delicious and made with fresh local ingredients. For the Adventure Time brunch I had the everything burrito and a super porp! cocktail, both were very good. We also split the earl of lemongrab holes, the themed donut holes for the day, they were acceptable.

I went to Ollie for brunch on a Saturday. I love the small neighborhood bar/cafe atmosphere of this place. I ordered shrimp and grits and was delighted with the care taken to blend fabulous flavors and textures in this dish. It was skillfully prepared and beautifully presented--a creative rendition of this Southern standard. The service that morning was slow, and the waiter relatively inattentive, but that didn't matter. The food was so good, it made up for the over-long wait for a beverage refill. I recommend Ollie for anyone looking for creative dishes made from fresh, real food
