Absolutely amazing experience! I don’t understand how I didn’t discover this place sooner! The portions are absolutely incredible, the food is unbelievable, and they have tons of deals going on. This will be a frequented takeout spot!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Ollie’s Chinese Noodle Shop and Grill. I ordered the steamed dumplings, and the quality was unacceptable. One dumpling was split open with the filling popping out, and another barely had any meat inside. It felt careless and poorly prepared. I was really looking forward to the meal, but this was a letdown. I hope they pay more attention to quality control in the future.

It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve been in the area so I stopped by to eat at one of my favorite places.. Ollies! The food and the service is even more exceptional than I remember! Can’t wait to come back soon with my family!

I ordered beef with broccoli. The broccoli had a good flavor but it had too much oil and the meat was not a good meat. The dim sum was really good. It was very small portion for the price as well.

I've been here twice. The portions are generous and there are many kinds of dishes. It's quite authentic. I like the spicy chicken and some stir-fried dishes.

I have been coming here for a while and it is one of my favorite places to grab some pan-fried veggie dumplings. Usually, when I try a new dish, the portions are always right and the food tastes amazing. I would recommend ordering during lunch hour, which is a bit cheaper, and heating it up later for dinner time, as it still tastes great.

The Sichuan dishes were thoughtfully prepared and full of depth. The dry-fried green beans stood out in particular—well blistered, slightly crisp on the outside, and tender within. The seasoning was balanced, with garlic and subtle heat enhancing the natural flavor of the beans without overwhelming them. The stir-fried beef was equally well executed. The slices were tender and properly marinated, with a clean, savory profile and a pleasant hint of spice. The vegetables added freshness and contrast, and the wok aroma gave the dish a distinct character that reflects careful technique.

The food was delicious. I enjoyed it. But the service was terrible. They demanded a tip from me and wouldn't let me leave until I entered the tip amount. I left in a terrible mood and I'm never coming back to this restaurant.

THE BEST.... Sesame chicken, pork spareribs, sauté shrimp, The pork fried rice is amazing. Spare ribs in blackbeans sauce, I could eat in this restaurant every day. The food is fresh. The service is nice and so are their prices.

OLLIES is a very bad neighbor. Their delivery men constantly smoke and SPIT outside. Their bikers ride on the sidewalk dangerously fast without lights on sometimes-so very unsafe. In addition, there are stains on the sidwalk from where they are dumped and poured. Inside while waiting for take out one night could not believe how many times person who packed our food picked his nose!

The flavor and textures just weren't hitting the marks for me . The Bok Choy with mushroom dish is a basic dish but the veggies were undercooked and bitter. The fried rice was dry and not flavorful. The Shu Mai wasn't as juicy and flavorful as I am used to (like Tim Ho Wan). I did take out so I cannot speak to the ambiance , but our order was complete and on time !

Stopped by Ollie's for a late lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon and had a solid meal. Started nicely with the Egg Drop Soup with Corn and the Tofu Skin Roll Dim Sum. For entrees we had Sweet & Sour Pork, Sesame Chicken and Chow Fun with Beef in Black Bean Sauce - all very good. Service was friendly and efficient and the meal was very reasonably priced. Would be a regular customer if we lived in the area!

I got an order of double sautéed pork with a side of white rice without reading the reviews for this restaurant--that was my mistake. The food was prepared and delivered very quickly. The rice was still warm and moist by the time I received the order. But my praise for the restaurant stops there. The entree was unfortunately quite salty, and the pork was dry and cut unevenly. Some pieces were rubbery and others were far too thin and almost crispy. Proceed with caution (and a lot of water)!

Fresh! Hot ! Healthy! and DELICIOUS! The staff is so accommodating and the prices are reasonable! The greens are the best!!! Extra Ginger Please!!!!!!!

Went in the late afternoon so easy to get a seat. Last time I was at Ollie's was when there were adjacent to Carmines near Times Square. Same great food, and waiters are no nonsense. Soups came quick then we had scallion pancakes and pork dumplings, some tea and out the door. As good as the last time I was in Ollies. It's a bit off the main area but worth it.

It is my go to in Harlem. Always the best. The soup with pork and wonton reminds me of my favorite place back home.

Insect in my dim sum... 85 character minimum, I feel like I don't really need to say anything else . The food was actually good with good prices. I came here frequently but this is a huge turn off. I won't be coming here again.

Chinese restaurant that has a lot of options and satisfies your craving. Solid chinese food and accommodating service. Nothing too noteworthy to recommend.

I had some great soup dumplings here! Very friendly staff. The decor is simple and clean. I usually do takeout orders.

My husband and I came here for dinner after work on a week night because we were feeling a little too lazy to cook. It hit the spot! We'd wanted to try it for a while because we live so close. All of our food came out HOT. I had to wait a few minutes to eat my noodles so I wouldn't burn my tongue. That's how you know it's fresh! Our server was friendly and attentive. I'd come back for something affordable and solid.

Food is amazing especially the scallion pancakes. I've been coming here since I was little I love it.

I ordered the chongqing diced chicken and the chicken with eggplant from Ollie's. I wasn't carrying a lot of cash so I tipped very little. I thought I was going to have to wait a while for my order but it was ready very quickly. The diced chicken was really nice, not too spicy with a nice balance of flavors and the eggplant wasn't too salty with just the right amount of sauce, will be going here again.

The food is ok at best and pricey for what you get. Considering there is a lot of competition around and for better pricing, I'd say skip this place

Service was not good at all. I came in with my family, two little kids (well-behaved I should add). The server treated us like it was an imposition for us to be there. Food was fine but there are superior options within 2 blocks. Will not be returning due to the poor service.

Low key family restaurant that has been serving the UWS for over 30 years. They have lasted this long in NYC for a reason! Convenient for takeout or dine, take your pick. My favorite is the roast pork here, super juicy.

This Chinese restaurant called Ollie's I ordered to take out, and this place was not friendly at all. When I first came in, the waiting staff yelled at me not to sit and talked to me in a demeaning manner about where to order the food. When I ordered the food, that same attitude was with the cashier, and I felt more rushed to get me out of the way instead of How can I help you? When you want to make substitutions, they do not accommodate your response and have more attitude than anything else. I ordered Shrimp Chicken and Broccoli with Brown rice when I wanted noodles. Although the food was delicious, I was disappointed that the price was too high and the staff was somewhat unfriendly. However, I did appreciate the cozy family-like atmosphere of the restaurant. The restaurant has a cheerful color and lighting making it relaxing. It's unlikely I will be back.

I have been in the habit of stopping in at Ollie's for their lunch special while I'm in the neighborhood, but I've decided to take my business elsewhere. The food is just too hit and miss, like Kung Pao Chicken without peanuts (really???) or roast pork with a heavy dose of gristle. On the positive side -- maybe because of the variable quality -- one can usually find a seat here at lunchtime.

I arrived at an off hour so there was plenty of seating. Our server sat us down and took our drink order. My brother had the beef soup which he really liked. I ordered mapo tofu which was really flavorful. I would come back here!

Saddened and disappointed by our long tome annual New Years Day takeout. The overall quality of the food was poor in spite of the substantial jump in year over year prices. Lots of dishes $175.00 total. The chicken in garlic sauce was made with chilli. The mapo tofu was made with fermented bean sauce and had a black color instead of being made with chillis/peppercorns and having a red color. The scallion pancake (chung yau bing) was ok. I have been an Ollies patron since the first store opened on 43rd Street so I come to these comments with good history of enjoyable food. Now, not so much.

The beef with broccoli is delicious. I get delivery but it's pretty quick. I've never been in there so I don't know what the ambience looks like. You can order during lunch time and it's cheaper and you get a soup.

Food is so oily. There are better Chinese restaurants in the area. Wait staff was talking so loudly amongst each other, sounded like they're fighting, while my friends are trying to "enjoy" our meal.

I've regularly ordered delivery from this Ollie's (twice per month on average) for the past 10 months. I've personally never experienced anything other than quality customer service. The food is always good and arrives hot, the consistency and quality when you reorder the same dish is pretty good, everything is always fresh, and orders nearly always arrive correct. On the rare occasion when they don't, it's one item and very clear that someone was just moving too quickly and put the wrong thing in the wrong bag. Though this speaks to how quickly they hustle. It's very rare to have even a normal wait time with this Ollie's, let alone a long one. And I'm not necessarily close. To give you an idea, if I order from the midtown Ollie's to my midtown office (walking distance), I can easily wait 45-60 mins or longer. It's typically 30-45 mins with this UWS location, and they have a hike to get to me. I hope to dine in some time in the near future. Either way, they are solidly on my delivery rotation. I definitely recommend giving them a go.

I've been a regular customer and I always order the same crispy pan-fried noodle dish. Today the noodles were soggy and salty. Also I was seated at the table farthest from the entrance, next to the toilets. At one point there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. When I complained to the manager about the food and smoke, she got nasty and claimed the smoke was coming from outside. I told her she has lost a regular customer with her attitude. She followed me all the way to the exit and yelled if the food is not good and service is not good don't come again.

I was ravishing but stuck on zoom and needed some comfort food to get me through another 10 hr day working from home and wanted just tofu and veggies I saw Ollie's Noodle Shop was on chownow (no ridiculous UberEats service and delivery fees and had a lot of lunch specials so I decided to give them a go. I ordered the sesame tofu and chicken with broccoli- but asked for tofu instead of chicken if possible- and BOY did they deliver, this is my new lunch spot! It was so so so delicious! Both lunch specials were a generous portion and came with a pint of rice and soup (I chose egg drop) The sesame tofu was the star of the show for me- it was flavorful and crispy but not too sweet or too fried and it was mixed with tasty FRESH veggies- zucchini, carrots, snap peas and broccoli - definitely nothing frozen here! My partner really liked his tofu w broccoli I thought the egg drop soup w corn was tasty and had the right amount of corn as as to not impact the texture of the soup. The order was slowwww but the owner emailed and apologized for the delay and explained their internet went down but sent a few drinks to apologize for the delay! All in all, I would definitely order from here again especially the sesame tofu!

I got the shrimp with cashew nuts lunch special. My order was prepped really quickly. The lunch special came with a choice of egg drop soup/hot sour soup and white rice/brown rice. I opted for the egg drop soup and brown rice. They didn't charge extra for brown rice unlike some other places. The shrimp stuff came with cashew, celery and carrots. The dish was a little bland itself, but there were generous servings of shrimp. The egg drop soup was also kind of bland and the color was an orange yellow. Maybe there wasn't enough egg added in. Edible, but not the best egg drop soup I've ever had. While this isn't the place to go if you're looking for exceptional food, it achieves it's purpose in filling up an empty stomach in a pinch. Overall, good value for the lunch special.

This is the first time I have gone to this restaurant and despite unimpressive reviews wanted to try it. As you enter, it is showing its age looking like it needs to be renovated and seriously cleaned. The 3 people at the counter were all on phones and super busy. I ordered General Tsau's chicken as take out and it came out in 10 minutes or so. The dish was average at best and maybe less than average. It was heavily breaded, (making it hard to taste the chicken) stir fried and dark meat chicken. Granted, I did not request white meat but assumed that was what I was getting. The flavor was good but the broccoli included was nothing special nor did the white rice taste particularly hot or fresh. I do not expect to go back.

2705 Broadway NY NY 10025 is where one of the Ollies Noodle Shop and Grille is located. It's been some time since I have sat in an Ollies. From the beginning, the waiter had no interest in doing his job with pleasure. From the top, I should have walked out, but the duck is good. I ordered shrimp fried rice. His concern was me knowing that's an extra charge because my order would have rice. When I told him I understood, he then repeated himself, saying it's another charge. I am a mom, and I took my daughter with me. A father and daughter walked in and were asked where they wanted to sit. I was told where to sit. They wiped the father and daughter's table. Our table was not wiped. Another worker smiled at the father and daughter. My daughter and I were stared at by 3 workers. I'm glad I stayed to get the full experience. Thank God for choices. I will not go to this site again. I did not even make a big deal of the ambiance. There is none.

I ordered takeout from Ollie's and ended up throwing everything out! The cold sesame noodle were inedible. They had so much garlic in them that was all you could taste...one bit and into the trash. We ordered the pork buns and again, into the garbage. They were filled with inedible gristle that you couldn't even chew and it was like they had tried to disguise it by grinding it and smothering it in a sickly sweet sauce. I love Chinese BBQ sauce usually but this was more like syrup. We ordered the 3 roasted meat combo with roast pork, roast duck and spare ribs. The spar ribs were so tiny and the little bit of meat in them was charred biting recognition. You could not even get the meat off the bone it was so dried out. The duck was closer to boiled than roasted with no sauce or flavoring. The roast pork we ate because we were hungry but it was dry and flavorless. I used to eat at Ollies all the time when I lived in NYC a few years ago and it was great. This was not even close yo the same place. Such a disappointment, $52 down the drain and I will never go back!

Service was from hunger. Ordered a beer and it was warm. Had to look for waitress for 5 minutes to ask her for a glass! Ordered soup dumplings. 3 of the 5 were totally dried and the other 2 had very little soup in them. The main course came with a knife as a serving utensil and no plates for us to put it on. I finally got up to find the waitress to ask for plates and serving utensils. Last time I will go to the establishment. Definitely not an enjoyable meal or experience. BTW e we're the only 2 patrons in the restaurant until we were ready to leave. I hope the people that Arrived have a better experience.

Looking for Chinese take out? Ollie's is a decent local chain with an open kitchen and fast take out. Try and get there before the lunch specials end. I'm a big hot and sour soup fan, and at $4, theirs makes a decent budget lunch. Several locations throughout the city

They are very popular and busy during the weekdays. The foods are quite good and authentic. They offer a good variety of Cantonese roast foods. Their lunch specials are very reasonably priced. I hope they will expand their seats and welcome more customers

The Taiwanese Mai fun is where it's at. Food is ready for pickup fast and is always hot. The shrimp rolls are a little pricy but very tasty and worth the dough.

I found this place on Uber Eats looking for something my Ex boyfriends mom used to make. This place has them and omg they are sooo good. The pork appetizer with black bean sauce is amazing. They stuff the portion in a tiny container which I hate because the sauce spills out. ( I've gotten about 10 orders so far, so not that upset) I also like the roast pork ( in the meat section) unfortunately the prices are crazy or maybe it's just uber eats, because a chicken and broccoli shouldn't cost $15 nor should 3 orders of the pork tips cost $30 just offer a large portion so your customers can stop getting nickeled and dimed for every item we order. Overall I like some of the things that I have ordered and I will stick to those. Unfortunately I'm sick of paying all these fees,taxes and tips

Ample servings, quick delivery, decent prices as always. In our latest delivery from Ollie's, the pork pan-fried dumplings were delicious as usual. We have long loved the eggplant in garlic sauce (whether spicy or when requested as not spicy), but lately have ordered tofu, broccoli and eggplant in garlic sauce -- and it's been great. The downside in yesterday's order was Pad Thai. Never tried it from Ollie's before, and this was a bit weird -- overloaded with some atypical seasoning, for a strange taste (and strange orangish-brown color).

After Ollie's closed in Yimes Square years ago, I searched for a good replacement. I was thrilled to find that their branch at 116th street had not in fact closed, but had moved to 103rd and Broadway. Still some of the best pan fried noodles anywhere. Excellent hot and sour soup and delicious dumplings. Definitely worth a ride on the #1 subway for dinner. Get off at the 103rd street stop and it's right there.

This place comes in handy when you're in a pinch. Ollie's has always been super fast, casual, no frills dining that fills you with a variety of options. I would not bring a date unless it was an already established relationship. There is no alcohol, so this place is all about the food. The menu boasts seafood, soup, noodle soups, noodles, roast meats and dumplings. Realistically stick to typical fare offered by your local hole in the wall and you will be pretty safe. Actually, you can venture a little further out and try the eggplant dishes and find yourself pleasantly surprised but don't veer off for too much adventure. This is a one shot only type of meal, so don't think that you will be reheating any leftovers for another time. You will be more than fine if you use your common sense and stick to what makes your belly happy. Unlike their former uptown location on 116th St, the service is pretty standard so no issue there. Good for a quick lunch if you're not too picky.

Although the soup and everything else here has always been good, I just had a very bad experience with some of the staff. I'm a non-smoker, and, being such, can smell the disgusting stench of a cigarette from afar. So, when I went inside Ollie's to have dumplings for lunch I didn't expect to be overpowered by the foul odor of someone smoking. I walked outside the restaurant to their outdoor seating area a low and behold there were three guys sitting together smoking. I went right up to them and told them there's no smoking. They were all Asian men and said sorry and then walked out of the seating area and continued to smoke. I then went to close the two doors myself of the restaurant to prevent the nauseating odor from interfering with my meal. Didn't work as I wasn't allowed to shit the doors. I complained about the smoke, but then the men had finished and walked back inside. They worked here in the kitchen. How happy I was since they'd be preparing my food. I'll never be coming back here, although I've been coming to Ollie's since the early 90s.

Bought a dish to go and got very disappointed with the attitude from the staff - arrogant and intimidating. Feeling like not being not welcome here.Ruined the mood. Will not come back again.

I ordered from here with my parents because my mom was really craving Chinese food. We ordered duck with steamed vegetables. I always loved Ollies growing up. I especially loved their steamed and baked pork buns, vegetable dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and especially their egg and vegetable rolls. My family also LOVED ordering chicken, beef, or shrimp and broccoli with either fried, white, or brown rice. Either way you could never go wrong with a trip to Ollies. However, I sadly discovered that once you develop an allergy to gluten and dairy, all bets are off. All the things that I once loved so much became a no-no and there weren't really any available options unless you want to get things without their famous sauces which I don't recommend because it is not as good. There are some Chinese places that do have really amazing gluten and dairy-free options but I think for a while I wasn't able to enjoy what I used to from here.

I use to go to the old location, this was the first time I came here. Food was great! We had the crispy chicken with peppers, scallion pancake, and pan fried noodles. I would gave have them a 5 but the seating was weird, there was a couple seated way too close when the restaurant was only half full, ave the server took our tip off the table while we still sat there.

I hate these people. Last night I went there with my Mom - we got there a bit late at around 9 pm and, while the food was great (the food is never the same, sometimes it's great, sometimes it's inedible), the service was awful. The wine glasses still had lip smears on them from the last drinkers. We had to ask for chopsticks and the soy sauce never arrived. We were lingering while finishing our wine and out of nowhere, this Chinese woman screams, "YOU HAVE TO GO NOW WE CLOSED!" - not thank you for your custom or sorry, but we're closing now - just "GET THE HELL OUT." I miss Empire Schezuan. Ollie's feels like the ill-bread, rude, dirty, ignorant cousins of the Empire. Bring Empire Schezuan Back. I'm not giving Ollie's my money anymore.

placed an order, waited 1 hour, they said it was delivered but I did not get it. called and got a refund. what a waste of time.

Quick service, regular NYC Chinese food, they get a point for the plastic instead of Styrofoam dishes.

Ordered here all the time on days when I was too lazy to cook and I've always loved their food. Shout out to the FIRE ass ginger oil sauce or whatever comes with the chicken. I've been trying to figure out how to make that ever since I first tried it. Got married September 2019 and when my caterer for the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony fell through, I reached out to Ollies. They came through and EVERYONE loved the food. Not a single person had anything negative to say. Definitely recommend their catering as well, food was hot, on time and delicious!
