Stopped by today for a quick sit down with a latte. I ordered a lavender oatmilk latte and a slice of pound cake warmed up. The latte was good, very flavorful and sweet. A bit foamy though. The pound cake was truthfully very bland, it was pretty dry and flavorless. The icing was even pretty hard to taste. The atmosphere is nice, plenty of greenery and unique nic-nacs. However, this cafe is advertised as a gallery as well. There were no paintings or photos or anything up which was disappointing. The service was great! The barista Kattia was super friendly and bubbly. She offered to warm up the pound cake, very sweet. I more than likely would only stop by again if I’m on this side of town specifically, but I probably wouldn’t make a trip for it.

Oloman Cafe is Hamtramck’s best kept secret! I always look forward to my visits. It has a wonderful atmosphere and it’s one of my favorite places to read, write and think.

Cool Place. Nice coffee shop/ Art gallery in our city....great staff and owner. Z the owner, is such a nice person and a great representation of the community and what it means to be in community with the people.

Chill little spot in Hamtramck. Great iced coffee and baked good selection is nice. Deep variety of whole bean coffee as well. Really nice atmosphere to sit and work or meet in.

One of the greatest places in the neighborhood. It’s a nice, laid back atmosphere. Perfect place to sit and read, work on something, or meet up with a friend. The art is wonderful and they occasionally host film screenings and other events after regular business hours. Check it out!

Artsy with a European vide. A good spot to chat with friends but not outstanding to get some work done. Will be back if I’m in the area.

Hours of operation update..... It sucks that I drove her excited to try a new place with great reviews only to arrive and the cafe is closed for holiday hours. It would be very helpful if at a minimum Google were notified of office hours. Sigh.....I'm off to find average coffee I guess. 😭

Great coffee and pastries. Always interesting art rotating through the gallery. Beautiful outdoor seating area that reminds me of Europe. Special events and a wonderful owner who I love talking to

Staff was kind and friendly. Chatted with me while he made my order. The cold brew was tasty and he was helpful putting cream on the side for my friends to-go order. The space itself is very nice and looked great for getting work done. I had a really positive experience and would recommend it.

Visiting Detroit for the weekend and came here for morning coffee & breakfast. The coffee I ordered was delicious and the croissant was very tasty and flaky. As well, the interior of this cafe is very admirable. Many wonderful pieces of art cover the walls and music fills the area. Definitely will be coming back here throughout the weekend.

Fantastic coffee shop meets gallery in Hamtramck. My husband has shown his work here in the past (photography) but the cafe and the opening party was a blast. But the amazing patio in the back (in warmer weather, of course) and the delicious coffee and baked goods keeps me coming back for more. Great iced coffee and espresso drinks, baristas are always beyond pleasant, and the owner is lovely. There's a real community feel here. Every time I've been in I've struck up a conversation with someone new which has been such a pleasure. Check them out if you're in or around Hamtramck!

I enjoyed the artsy, relaxed atmosphere here. It operates as a gallery so there is art on the walls, and books and plants all over the cafe (all of my favorite things!). The patio is the perfect hidden place to unwind. My coffee was just right. Cultured and kind owner :)

Very relaxed environment, great coffee, good food. We ordered a dirty chai, americano, Dutch panini and polish panini. All very good.

Fantastic place on Joseph campau. The owners did a great job fixing up the space of the former Belmont bar and turned it into an oasis in the middle of downtown. Photography, books and art cover the walls. There's a good selection of baked goods, white pine coffees, espresso drinks, pour over options, and regular old drip coffee. They also have a panini selection! This foggy Hamtramck morning, the cappucino and chocolate croissant really hit the spot.

Stopped in for real coffee. We had already had our fill of caffeine so we requested decaf. The owner made us some wonderful pour over coffee but charged us for regular drip only. He explained that he rarely has decaf requests so prefers to handle it that way. While we waited we viewed a display of poignant photographs of people in a small, ancient village in Columbia. Very nice interior space with plenty of tables and a couple easy chairs.

Such a cute cafe and art gallery. I came from out of town and am SO glad I stopped here before I left. The pastries are so delicious and the coffee is just what I needed. Aside from their awesome coffee and goodies, the shop is quaint and is decorated beautifully. It's a great place to do work or just sit and have good conversations. Definitely recommend checking out the back patio as well!

A friend of mine introduced me to this place quite a few months back, now that I've relocated to hamtramck I'll be frequenting this place much more often. It's Just a short walk from my apartment, and the employees are just as sweet as the yummy as the pastries they serve! I came here just before closing on a Sunday in the late afternoon to get a caffeinated pick-me-up and saw they have an awesome outdoor patio space in the back when the weather is permitting. Usually pretty quiet. Cool place

Oloman Cafe is a hidden gem (I guess not so hidden if you live in Hamtramck). I've been here several times and even rented the space for party. Great coffee, espresso drinks, and pastries. Definitely a good place to take the laptop and work. There's a gorgeous patio in the back. It is also a gallery and often showcases talented photographers. Owners are cool people, too.

Not sure how everyone's raving about this place... it's a cafe. Whoooooaaaaa. They have lattes and art on the wall. It's been done. That said, I'm glad this place is open (for the hours it manages to be open... seriously, you're closed by what, 7p? And currently you're closed for WEEKS for renovations even though you just opened like last year?). The coffee is good but overpriced and takes forever. I like that they have dine-in dish options. I like that they're trying to be a 'community' space but it comes off as a little snooty to call it/treat it like a gallery.

This place is stunning. Its function as a cafe is wonderful, great coffee and lovely food bits and bites, but the actual space itself is just fantastic. The owners are sweet as hell--the husband is the one who who decorated the interior and invited artist friends to collaborate and I could spend a very long time absorbing all of the detail across every inch of this wonderful shop. It's just charming and inspiring. We went in the middle of the aftermath of a blizzard and immediately felt at home and warm and welcome. They showcase artists and provide books to borrow and have a lovely, inviting atmosphere that makes you excited and happy to have thrown open that door. I can't recommend this place enough no matter what your agenda is--java, art, architecture, nibbles, succulents, decor, or community. It is awesome.

Hamtramck was in dire need of a hip coffee place! The selections are just wonderful.. very warm and cozy welcoming feeling as well. Also a good spot for students who want to study outside of home.

I'm glad this place is a 5 minute walk from my house, because I absolutely love it. I've been there many times, sampling different items from the menu. I've had everything from the pour over coffees, cappuccino, chai, coffee of the day, a couple desserts and the paninis, and have only praise to give. The staff is excellent, and they remember you from time to time in detail in order to follow up on events or people you've visited with. The venue is spacious, allowing for you to be comfortable chatting without bothering others working, and has SO MANY OUTLETS! There are outlets next to every table, you don't have to share. The wifi is speedy. There aren't many more "plus" marks I can give, but I think you get the point. Great place!

Oloman Cafe offers a cheery setting with great sunlight. My Americanos and Polish Panini were perfect. I look forward to coming back here for a quiet place to work or meet with friends. I will definitely be taking advantage of the patio space once summer hits!

Very chill place to study in the morning. Large and small tables. They have artwork on the walls and delicious croissants that they get in from a very local source.

Over priced bland coffee. I have been there twice and will never go again. It did seem like a very clean place. The girls at the counter were not very friendly and I hope they didn't expect a tip for the lukewarm, bland latte they served me.

My Husband and I love this place. The owners are the nicest, the baristas are so friendly and make the best drinks. The place is packed with cool art pieces and their patio is awesome!

Spending 3 weeks in the heart of Hamtramck and this place has been a haven. Igor and Sylvia (2 of the younger baristas) are such awesome people. This coffee shop is a sign that Hamtramck is on the rise. The vibes are super chill and laid back, the coffee is good, and the wifi is fast. The layout is big, open and inviting. Great place to meet some local youth and see the diversity.

Very cute cafe! The espresso and coffee here is great. I haven't had a bad drink- from a plain cup of coffee, to an americano, to a mocha, to a soy latte, everything has been great. If you're hungry, the paninis here are delicious! My personal favorite is the Greek. The pastries and baked goods are also delicious- the almond croissant is my favorite, especially when they warm it up. The staff is also wonderful, very friendly. I can't wait for warmer weather to spend time on the patio (which is also super cute). I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place and I will definitely be back soon!

Love the ambiance of the place,the spinach croissant was pretty good despite it possibly being a day or 2 old..coffee nothing spectacular but again, cool place for the area..will most likely come back again..

Took my girlfriend there on a whim and I love this place. Great decor, creative arts on the walls, and cozy patio. I enjoyed their cappuccino as well.

I was thrilled when I discovered this place opened up near me, it has excellent coffee, great ambiance, amazing local art and I really like the owners and the staff. I love when I pass by and happen to see an event there. It's a not very noticeable when you pass by but peak in and enjoy!

Loved the awesome friendly staff and the baked goods selection was on point! My coffee was amazing and I absolutely loved the space! Very open and good light with a cute little patio for spring around the corner! Definitely a 5 star coffee spot in Hamtramck!
