Lovely quaint cafe nested in the heart of Saugerties, NY. Outside seating (3 tables), dog friendly, exposed brick loft style cafe with excellent food offerings. I had eggs our way. Fresh greens, (no iceberg) nuts, pesto and balsamic dressings eggs sunny side up! Was so good I'm thinking a coming back for lunch later. Also the coffee is great which isn't always the case with cafes that have good food I've discovered. Ordered a flat white with oat milk. Love this place .. looking forward to my next visit.

Cutest local coffee shop with cozy rustic vibes. Tried their salad and Itty bitty sandwich. Both delicious!

Google
Love it here. Great spot. Highly recommend the yogurt if you’re there during breakfast time!

We found this place as a pit stop going to Kaaterskill Falls. I love the vibe and atmosphere of this place. They use fresh and organic ingredients. I ordered The Meat & Cheese, I chose the creamy burrata with prosciutto, mark’s kitchen pesto (they sell this too) & evoo served on ciabatta. I LOVED IT!! So speechless. My husband ordered The Lox this has smoked salmon in it, couldn’t find this on the menu anymore. I had a taste too and loved it! I also loved the latte I ordered. Will definitely be back if ever I’m in the area.

Google
This is amazing. The experience is amazing and I can also meet with my friend who works here. I recommend the lemon zest yogurt. It’s basically creamy delight to me! I could eat here all day

Google
Made a pit stop here on the way to Hudson and we’re so glad we did! They have pretty basic sounding sandwiches, but they were really (really) good!! The place is super cute, the owner was sweet and of course the food we ate was on point. They also have a really great selection of craft beers.

Google
A nice little coffee shop tucked away in Saugerties. This place is very aesthetic and has ample seating. Highly recommend the croissants (some of the best I’ve had in upstate NY)

Renee Hare

Google
Eclectic selection of cold beverages- non alcoholic plus beer and wine if you like. Had the Burrata with prosciutto and house-made pesto. Excellent burrata. The prosciutto was a little chewy. Dining partner had the Gruyere grilled cheese with ham and the peach tomato jam. Super tasty. Cool atmosphere. Very relaxing and laid back. We lucked out with this random choice while on vacation.

Yelp
Small restaurant & menu but good spot for a quick breakfast and coffee. I had an oat milk latte and a breakfast sandwich.

Yelp
One of the best lattes I've ever had. They were very nice and accommodating as well. Food was good too.

Yelp
My wife and I are locals, and have been to Olsen & Co. several times. It's always been a positive experience: good food, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, our recent visit was simply bad. The service felt like we'd made a wrong turn into some hostile backwater. We walk in to the nearly-empty cafe, take a seat at the counter, and...nothing. We waited a solid 5 minutes for the guy behind the counter to wordlessly *throw* two menus at us. No welcome, no eye contact, not even a friendly nod. Just a backhand toss of menus in our direction. Whatever. Maybe he's doing a badboy schtick. Anyway, we quickly decide what we want. Then wait another 10 minutes. Eventually, the guy behind the counter informs us that if we want to place an order, we need to get up and walk to the other end of the counter to do so. Oh. OK. So we get up, place our orders, and preemptively pay (and tip 20% because food service work is hard). We then sit back down, and wait. And wait. And wait. Mind you, it was not crowded. There was one woman carrying on a lengthy conversation with the surly guy behind the counter the entire time we were there, a seated couple who had already been served, and another guy at a table. While waiting, at least half a dozen other patrons came in, ordered, got their food and left. We waited nearly 40 minutes for a grilled cheese and a chicken salad sandwich. Our food was finally brought over by the woman making it, who looked embarrassed, but didn't actually apologize for the absurdly shitty service. Based on previous visits, I'd give this place 5 stars. But if this had been my first time, it would be 1, based on service alone.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place and it was amazing! Great food, coffee, and curated to-go goods. Very fresh and delicious

Yelp
Great atmosphere, clean. Attentive bar service. Itty bitty egg and cheese on croissant hit the spot. A bit hungover from New Years so skipped the coffee and had the ginger elderberry with sparkling water. Kudos to whomever thought of the combo

Yelp
This place is a little gem in Saugerties! I just love coming in for breakfast and getting to try the amazing food that is so thoughtfully prepared. I love the breakfast sandwich and make additions or substitutions often - add goat cheese, add prosciutto, etc. Just so fantastic. The coffee here is probably also the best coffee in town, so you should take the opportunity to grab a cup. I love their cold brew and their cortados. Olsen also sells some very local cheese that you should try if possible. My favorite is their lively run goat cheese from the finger lakes called finger lakes gold. It's a hard goat cheese, but oh so good.

Yelp
I will not be returning to this clearly racists establishment! I walk in and observe the lady cashier kindly greeting others in front of me and taking their orders. It is finally my turn and she magically has to leave so I'm left standing there waiting to be greeted. After what feels like 2 minutes, a younger gentleman cashier walks up, makes no eye contact with me and says "what's up?" LISTEN!!! That is a huge no no. Saying "hello" or "hi, how can I help you" is the standard, period! Stop playing with me!Because of the color of my skin you shouldn't treat me any different or look at me as a threat. Y'all are racist and it is not acceptable. I left after a piss poor interaction and will never return.

Yelp
Food is very high-quality and delicious!!! Beautiful interior and source most of their food from local producers.

Iceman T.

Yelp
Food was very good and price was reasonable. People and service - very friendly and attentive. Ambiance feels like boutique Cafe. And the coffee was probably one of the best. I regret for not picking up a bag of beans.

Yelp
I came here and had the breakfast sandwich which was super tasty and I'd totally order again. It came out HOT with the bread freshly and deliciously toasted and had a very good flavor. The service was friendly as well. I don't however recommend the iced chai here. I found it to be somewhat flavorless. So I'm not sure what else there would be for a non coffee drinker if that's you're go-to. Would definitely come back to try more food though, as I'm sure everything on the menu is great!
google avatar

Jung Y.

Yelp
Super cute cafe in Saugerties! The cafe wasn't too crowded when my group when for a later lunch, and the service was friendly and quick. There is a good amount of seating inside at tables and at the bar. I really enjoyed my lox bagel. I also got to try a few bites of The Daily which was delicious. Perfect sustenance before hiking!

Yelp
Olsen and company is a must try while visiting upstate New York. What struck me most was the freshness and variety of options. I ordered a croissant and the ham and cheese sandwich. Both were quite decent and filling. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Yelp
Lucky choice for a vacation lunch while RVing in Catskill, NY at Treetopia (review to follow). Eclectic choices of beverages non alcoholic and also beer and wine. Relaxed and laid back atmosphere and a good mix of families, couples and friends dining. Had the Summer meat and cheese (burrata and prosciutto) with house made pesto. Burrata was creamy and oozing out of the ciabatta- prosciutto a little chewy but tasty. Hubby had The Melted One with Gruyere and peach and tomato jam. We shared with no leftovers.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Hudson, NY, for some coffee and a quick bite based on the overall positive Yelp rating... maybe we had an off day or experience, but we ultimately left wanting more. In terms of customer service, it was not super friendly to us, but seemed more accommodating to the locals. Backstory: our dogs were in the car, so my husband went in ordered for us, then came out so we could switch off so I could grab the food and use the restroom. (We didn't realize it was dog friendly at first.) I walked in immediately after he walked out to stay with the dogs, and told the staff at the front, "I'm here to pay and pick up for alex." (My fault for assuming that they took names like most coffee places we've been.) I was met with an odd response, "I don't know who that is?" (Everyone else in the establishment had their food, and my husband was literally just in there... he was the only person that had yet to pay or receive food to go lol.) I can easily look past that. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a plain bagel with cream cheese. Unfortunately, this was truly one of the most bland chais I've ever had and it was quite small for the price point. It's important to note this chai comes premade out of a jug with the milk added in. My chai truly just tasted like watered down milk- which was disappointing. My husband got a dirty chai with whole milk ($9). He had the same response at me that his chai was "watered down" without hearing my opinion on the drink. I actually took the lid off my chai when I got back into the car to see the coloration because it tasted so much like milk and not chai. (It seems we were not the only ones who had this experience with the chai after reading other reviews.) My bagel was cold, so almost like it was a pre-packaged bagel, so it did not seem fresh whatsoever and was not something I finished. The cream cheese was good. My husband got the roasted one, which is a chicken sandwich, that he enjoyed- hence the two stars, but he found it to be minimal for the price point (around $16). Overall, while I appreciate the use of sustainable and organic products, we spent spent $40 here on food and a tip, and we were both disappointed with the drinks and food- aside from the chicken sandwich, which is a shame because others seem to truly enjoy it. On a more positive note, the ambiance was nice and the bathroom shows a lot to grit with a renovation, so maybe we just had an off experience, but unfortunately, we would not rush back as there are a lot of restaurants in the area.

Yelp
I love O & Co! I just had the best grilled gruyere and prosciutto sandwich, hot & crunchy & melty. It hit all the high points! They have a small selection of prime groceries, fresh baked breads, croissants and great coffee. Dont miss it!
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
Don't miss this! We're staying at an Airbnb literally next to this gem and walked by numerous times before stopping in (I'm not sure why). I didn't know they had breakfast until looking on here, and when I did I realized how ADORABLE it is inside! We woke up to rain this morning so we were the first ones in. The place is beautifully decorated and the three women behind the counter are friendly, helpful, and accommodating, even selling us cheese they didn't have in the case to sell, but instead taking from their own stock (we really wanted burrata). The food was delicious although I had to deconstruct my sandwich to eat it because it was too big (my own fault, I added eggs to it). They also have a small bar with wine and beer and the cutest, clean bathroom. They have items for sale and two tables for outside seating. Definitely stop in!
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast twice in two days we loved it so much. What a gem. Worth a visit to downtown Saugerties.
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
What a fun little eatery right off the main strip in Saugerties. We stopped in for our second breakfast. The shop is small and a little bit pricey, but not outrageous, especially considering the obviously elevated food and drink choices. My wife and I both got the breakfast sandwich on different bread choices, they were awesome. They have a pesto mayo of some kind that is out standing! I don't like eating twice at the same place when I'm vacation just to try as much variety as possible but I might have to make an exception for the excellent sandwich. My coffee was very good as well. If you wake up in Saugerties and want some thing hot and special for breakfast this is your spot.
google avatar

Rob G.

Yelp
Had the worst coffee in town from this establishment over the weekend. Really thought from the look of the menu and the aesthetic inside that I was going to really enjoy my cappuccino but that was not the case. The milk was over-steamed and bubbly and the presentation made the drink look unappetizing. The taste matched the look. I shouldn't be able to make a smoother and more balanced cappuccino for myself at home than a barista can. My wife had a iced chai latte, took two sips, and threw it out at a garbage can on the corner. I took a few more sips of mine and ultimately tossed it as well. For the price, it was not at all worth it.

Peter F.

Yelp
Cute, cozy, yet still stylish and roomy, a great stop for a weekday pick-me-up. An easy Friday or Saturday snack destination choice. There is plenty of space for a family or couple. Very scrumptious selections in the offering. Just a fun, wholesome, and welcoming eatery.
google avatar

Dennis L.

Yelp
The best egg sandwich in the Hudson Valley. You'll be happy you found this spot. Very pleased, special coffee.
google avatar

Arshi K.

Yelp
O &CO serves delicious veggie treats on Partition Street. I'm a fan of the quinoa patties served on a bed of mixed greens with a pesto mayo dressing. Also yummy salads, cheese and coffee to go. If you on First Fridays (first Friday of each month in the summer) you can sample treats and get a glass of complimentary wine too! Great addition to the Saugerties Main street.

Jane F.

Yelp
not much room to sit along with wall with those giant cushions... but once you kind of force them into shape it works ok. i've been in there numerous times and never get a smile or hello. while i'm sitting there other people come in & i hear a big hello & see a friendly response. so that's kind of crappy. they get points for a good bathroom & good matcha, but if you want it to go it's only one size: small they have the best croissants in the area

Chelsea J.

Yelp
Great selection of local goods you can buy. Very cool vibes. Also the food was delish!!
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Wonderful place. The food and coffee are excellent. It's worth a trip down this cute side street to find this gem. Park on the street or in one of the local lots. They have provisions too like gourmet cheeses, crackers, jams etc.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
Impeccable, varied selection. Great ambience. Tasty food + surprisingly robust menu. And coffee ! 5/5
google avatar

Laura J.

Yelp
This place is a GEM. Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had but then also a great beer and wine selection if you're looking for a happy hour spot. All around, you can't go wrong!
google avatar

Ara K.

Yelp
I patron this restaurant weekly and I faithful order the roasted chicken sandwich! It's delicious and has the perfect spices! The chicken is always juicy and tender. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend you trying this locally owned restaurant.

Brian C.

Yelp
Great food, trendy spot. Really nice people working there as well. Highly recommended.

Sunny B.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches, cookies and drinks! Beautiful space and lovely staff. Absolutely love this place.

Rebecca Gard S.

Yelp
Have had a few sandwiches here and all have been delicious. In particular The Roasted One, with greens, roast chicken, cheddar and pesto was drool worthy. Last time I was in Saugerties was with a friend who is severely gluten intolerant, and she was delighted by the quality of the gluten-free bread. As a gluten lover myself, I had a bite of her bread as well and can confirm it was really good! I honestly couldn't taste the difference (helped that it was a whole grain bread rather than a type of french bread). To top it off, the atmosphere is quite relaxing and charming. If this place were in Brooklyn (where I live) I would become a regular.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious- hip and clean. Fresh and efficient, simple yet attention to detail! Quality ingredients!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee shop in every sense of the expression. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The interior design is Scandinavian cool. The Americano and the chocolate bar tasted fantastic. The customers are cool and eclectic. Quite easily one of the best coffee shops in New England.
google avatar

Andrew B.

Yelp
Nice. Cute. Quaint. This family owned and operated eatery is neatly tucked just off the beaten path, Partition Street. A newly renovated space fits perfectly into the Saugerties scene. Prices are just a touch on the higher side but the quality and presentation supports this. Give them a try there is a little something for everyone...including a nice selection of craft beer for Mom & Dad. Enjoy.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Finally got to check out the new location and was very impressed. Scandinavian in look and feel, this is a great place to unplug, take a breath, and have an expertly-made beverage and light breakfast/lunch. Everything was super fresh, local and delicious. The gourmet grilled cheese--on Catskill Bread rustic rye with honey--was one of the best I've ever had. Even the bathroom, bright and fresh smelling, surprises with actual cloth towels.

Olivia R.

Yelp
The matcha was watered down and horrible, they have a very slim weird menu selection and the customer service is absolutely horrid. They have a snobby nyc attitude that makes me want to say, don't you know you're in saugerties New York? Wanted to give them another try for the benefit of the doubt but was let down once again. Horrid is the only way to explain it.
google avatar

Edward B.

Yelp
I love this place! The food, products sold, and service was always fantastic. The new location makes Saugerties about 90% better to live in, for me. It's not on a main street, it's quiet and incognito. Perfect for a stealthy, creatively flavorful breakfast, or meeting with coffee and local artisan food. They serve wine, beer, and cider now, too... Lovely people!
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday for breakfast and had a delicious sandwich with pasture eggs, local bacon, micro greens, and it was on fresh toasted multigrain gluten free bread. The owner is friendly and there are many local food products and drinks on the shelves to purchase. Great vibes!

David C.

Yelp
Oh man their food is sooo good. The egg sandwich was amazing. From the eggs to the cheese to the bread, I would run, not walk here.
google avatar

Liz W.

Yelp
In the Saugerties norm of pizza and subpar coffee, O&Co stands above the rest...all in the tiniest of spaces. The owners are as local and home-grown as you can get. Marianne will even give you tips and stories on tending to her goats. The coffee is amazing, the cheese selection is the best in town and the lunch selections change daily and are delicious. This little (and I mean little) gem makes up in quality and charm what it lacks in physical space. Enjoy your trip....and while you're there, bring home some local yogurt and bread.

Peter V.

Yelp
O & Co is the latest in a series of what I call "one at a time" eateries, places so tiny, they can comfortably accommodate a single customer or party of customers at a time. They have a seat or two, maybe a table on the sidewalk in nice weather, but that's it. If you want to eat or shop there when its busy, you need to be the sort of person who enjoys the close company of your fellow man. I'm not that type of person, so when I walk by these places, I peak in, and if they're empty, I say to myself, "OK, this is my cafe now." So it's always a great day when O & Co is MY shop. They have a bunch of unique salads which are convenient to grab and go, and can whip up a sandwich for you with all the various fresh, local, organic ingredients which they carry in the shop. They get fresh bread from bread alone delivered daily, cheeses from Sprout Creek Farm, and a whole bunch of quirky drinks and jams and fun stuff to browse. So go in, check it out, buy some stuff... then get out, 'cause it's my turn.
google avatar

Lori G.

Yelp
Walking around town while traveling and found this lunch place. The service was great and the sandwiches were amazing. The chicken salad was one of the best I have tasted.

Aj S.

Yelp
Love the Toastie!!! It's a generous portion size and they clearly use excellent ingredients. They have a really fun selection of drinks as well - today I got the sparkling birch water. Service was quick and friendly; this is one of our go-to spots when we are in Saugerties.
google avatar

Julian H.

Yelp
O&Co always has the best salads I've ever had. I love going and grabbing lunch. The helpful staff always helps me pick a cheese and some bread when I don't feel like a salad.
