18 Essential Restaurants to Savor in Savannah

"In its 33 years on River Street, Olympia Cafe has been visited by many locals, tourists, and celebrities, and was featured in the 2022 film Devotion. Co-owners Nick Pappas and Vasilis Varlagas place importance on hospitality which is a close second to food in their restaurant. Its traditional Greek and Mediterranean menu features gyros, moussaka, spanakopita, prime cuts of meat, seafood, and, of course, flaming cheese." - Elizabeth Bowers

The falafel appetizer was seriously good—crispy, flavorful, and probably my favorite thing on the menu. I also tried the lemon chicken and the kabob dinner, and both were delicious. Everything was well-seasoned and cooked just right. The vibe of the place is great too—really welcoming with a nice atmosphere that makes you want to hang out a bit longer. And bonus: there’s a gelato and ice cream spot right next door, which is perfect if you’re in the mood for something sweet after your meal. Definitely a place worth checking out.

We stumbled onto this restaurant after we tried so many places along River street and they all had 1-2 hour wait. We walked in and the hostess said she could seat us immediately. The place was crowded, so I was glad we did not have to wait. This is such a nice atmosphere. The wait staff were really nice. Even the owner came around asking everyone how the meal and service was. That is such a nice touch! We got the Chicken Kabob sandwich and Chicken Kabob dinner and a Greek salad. It was delicious. We really have not eaten Greek food before, but we really enjoyed it. Next time we are in Savannah we will stop in again to try some other yummy dishes.

We ate here on Thursday ,May 15, 2025. Atmosphere puts you in another time and place. Limited seating but guess we timed it right by arriving around 8pm on a weekday. No problem getting a table. We ordered the lemon chicken and a gyro plate. The location is right near the river and just across from Belles Ferry drop-off. This was perfect for us coming from the Westin across the river. We could relax and not have to walk far. Our goal was to just enjoy a relaxing meal on vacation. The decor put our minds at ease and we almost felt as if we had been invited into someone's private courtyard. This was the second time coming here in 3 years. Also our second visit to Savannah. The food is good. My chicken wad just how I like it with the tangy lemon and simple flavors.

Excellent dinner tonight. From the greeting, seating and attentive service (thank you, Charm), to the final bites of dinner, everything was wonderful. I had the gyro, my daughter the falafel gyro and my wife indulged in the moussaka (with potatoes, rice/peas. Everything was flavorful, fresh, hot and seasoned and prepared extremely well. Fair prices as well for a waterfront top notch meal! Highly recommend!

Google
Charming atmosphere and food is still made in house from scratch. The Dolma is the best I’ve ever had. This restaurant has a that special touch only an owner who has put his heart and soul into can provide an experience that makes life worth living through. Love, love love this place!

Google
Probably the worst greek food i’ve ever had. The greek salad taste like card board. The lettuce was old, and dry. The dressing was not good at all, the chicken taste like it was microwaved. Wont be going back at all. Not even for drinks. The spot needs a makeover. Looks run down.

Google
I just left and it was okay. It’s nothing like Tazikis or papa gyro. I’m basic so I ordered the same thing salmon. It was good but not the best. Maybe I am more disappointed by the potatoes. They really weren’t roasted the way I thought they would be.then the rice and peas weren’t my thing. I wish I could have said no gravy or whatever was on top. If they adapted to real roasted potatoes I would be back. Overall just okay. The environment on the to go side was more casual. I’m thinking maybe I should have eaten inside. Everyone was friendly enough. Oh and I ordered a smoothie and pita bread. The bread wasn’t airy yet fulfilling like the other pita bread I’ve tried and the smoothie was more like a slushy no fruit or thickness just ice and syrup. Almost like Italian ice

Google
Great place to eat! We had dinner and the food was a large plate of delicious!! Server was very kind and checked on us more than once and offered good advice on food. This may be a Georgia thing - there is a small charge for paying by card. Wonderful place and seating was quick on a Saturday!

Yelp
My partner and I had dinner here after driving for 10 hours and the food was fantastic. Service was prompt and waitress was very polite and helpful to my partner in choosing a traditional Greek wine to accompany his meal. Salads are ample and fresh. Atmosphere is nice as the restaurant is right next to the river with big windows to watch people walking by. Would recommend to anyone who loves Greek food!

Yelp
Attentive and fast service. I liked the grilled octopus appetizer. Simple and non-pretentious, and very tender and tasty. The lamb chops were a pretty thin cut. I ordered Medium Rare but such a thin cut is really hard to cook to order. I suggest, Pick a thicker cut, and if you have to, charge more. The sides were not my personal favorite, but then, in no Greek food expert either. Overall , a relaxed and pleasant experience. Nice touch of the owner to come by and check on every table. Shows that he cares.

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner at the Olympic Cafe this past Thursday 2/22. I reached out ahead of time to check on their ability to accommodate my wife's allergies. I communicated with the manager Frances and was assured that we she would be able to have an awesome meal there. We had a reservation and were seated by our server, Ana, immediately. She was already aware of my wife's situation and went about letting her know everything she could have and a couple of items she couldn't. And by the way, Ana was just awesome. We had the "M.D's Red Roasted Pepper" as an appetizer. It was delicious. My wife had the Spanakotiropita and I had the Souvlaki Dinner. Both were exceptional. The food, the service, and the ambiance all surpassed expectations. If you really want some great Greek food we would highly recommend Olympic Cafe.

Yelp
Really good classic Greek diner in the River front area in Savannah. We stopped in after poking around in all of the shops and ate a quick dinner. The food was really good and totally hit the spot. The menu featured all of the staples, souvlaki and such. We randomly got seated at the best table in the house, by the front window overlooking the street :) Staff was nice and it's a family owned place.
google avatar

Yelp
This was pretty good, the gyro tasted fine. The fries were great. Service was very prompt and friendly. The restaurant is decorated well. Overall it's good.

Yelp
Stayed at the Hyatt on River Street and in search of local eats. We decided to pop in to Olympia Cafe since we had a stroller with a baby and luckily they were able to get us a table in the corner. This was baby's first time at the restaurant. We ordered calamari, souvlaki, gyro (yeero), and fish and chips. We asked for some mixed veggies for baby and received bell peppers, onions and zucchini. So don't get your hopes up for kid friendly peas and carrots. The plates were good, plentiful. I enjoyed the fresh bread for the table and also the calarmari was perfect. Lightly breaded and paired with a cool dipping sauce. Every so often a server would come by and make a fire with a table appetizer and it lit up a big flame. The ambiance feels authentic, very intimate. A family next to us had about four kids which I can tell annoyed some of the patrons. However it was great to see a family having a meal with all the wildness that comes with it. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend trying if you are on River Street and looking for romantic dinner.

Yelp
Restaurant was packed and we were lucky to get a table without a wait. Our table was tucked in the front corner by a window, so that was really nice. Service was excellent, food was good, we eat a lot of Greek food so this filled a craving but not the best we have had. My husband had a platter with fries and I would say skip those. The pita was good, would rather have that served instead of a bread basket. Overall, good if you are in the mood for Greek food on River Street.

Yelp
I with I took more pictures of the food, because the other options were delicious. The Kalamari was fried perfectly, and thrilling sauce was so good. The falafel was okay, the seasoning was a bit too over powering. Chicken kebab was DELISH, and the shrimp Aegan was probably the best thing. I love that there are three places to get things here. I've only done the walk in, grab a quick bite side, and I honestly think that's the best way. When you walk in, it doesn't look the best, but this is some of the most reasonably priced food on river street, and actually tastes good and is authentic to its region. The drink options are good, too! I got a mudslide and was surprised but hot yummy it was. Service was amazing. The gentlemen taking orders and cooking were so helpful with all of our questions. This is a VERYYY casual place. Don't like how it looks deter you from a great meal!

Yelp
I had the best blackened salmon salad of my life here. All of the veggies were so fresh and delicious and the salmon perfection. Great service as well.

Yelp
While searching for shelter from the rain, we ducked into this delicious Greek diner. Both of our gyros were excellent. I had the chicken which has tons of fresh, perfectly charred and flavorful chicken. The pita was soft and yummy. The server brought us extra tzatziki so we could dunk our fries. The food was great and the vibe was just right. It's a big place with a ton of options on the menu. Wish I could've tried the grape leaves. Bonus: there was a nice touch of real roses in vases on each table!

Yelp
I came here for the first time with my work collages and I really enjoyed it! We came here for lunch so we enjoyed some wine and some amazing appetizers including the AMAZING SAGANAKI when she brought it out she lit it on fire and we all yelled ""Opa!" which was a lot of fun! With their bread it was just (delicious). We also had the GYRO appatizer and I had the Calamari as my main dish. I would love to come back for dinner and try their ice cream. But I couldn't recommond this place more!
google avatar

Suri M.

Yelp
Warning vegetarians!!!! The dolmades are stuffed with BEEF!!!! I had a tiny bite and am very sick because I can't digest that stuff. I called asked them to change the menu. They should be more careful; it's not just about vegetarians, it's also an issue for people who have developed red meat allergy from tick bites. People go into anaphylaxis from that!
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
Hands down the best Greek food! Everything was fresh and made in-house from scratch. The atmosphere was lovely, wonderful service and great prices on food! A Diamond in the rough. 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Very good food , fast service . A very Atina, Glyfada and Pireas atmosphere . A place to visit in front of the river.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this restaurant after seeing it's one of the most reviewed on Yelp! We were seated by the entryway to the kitchen and it was loud and made us feel like we were kind of in the way. Food was delicious, we loved the dolmadakias but everything else was kind of average for what we were paying. We ordered the octopus appetizer and we each got 2 tiny bites because the portion size was so small. It might have been a difference experience ordering the entrees but we wanted to try a little bit of everything and our bill was still very expensive, and in my option, not really worth it for the dining experience.

Yelp
Welcome to a wonderful meal in Greece! Front of house was excellent, seated quickly, courteous, and an excellent table. Fresh bread and olive oil dip to make you feel like family. Vas came to see us, tell us some stories and ensure we we comfortable and happy. Who does that these days ?!? We started with dolmades. I've been eating these for decades. and they were perfect. My main was the lamb chops, and I chose sautéed veggies. The Lamb was tender and melted in my mouth. Veggies with feta were cooked beautifully! We also had the Greek duo with spanakotiropita and moussaka. We've been cooking these for years and they showed us that this is how...spot on! Dessert was tiramisu as well as the custard and espresso. All in all a great dinner!

Yelp
We stopped by for some lunch today. My fiancée got a gyro and I got the chicken salad. We had barely sat down five minutes and we had food and drinks. It's honestly the quickest I've ever been served other than at a fast food restaurant. The food was wonderful, everything fresh and of good quality. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. They building has a lot of character, the brick walls added to the ambiance of their restaurant. I would happily eat here again.

Lizzy M.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere is amazing. If you're looking for legit Greek food this is the spot. Service was awesome, Ana was awesome and made great recommendations. Owner was very sweet and hospitable. Couldn't rave about it enough, my yaiyai would give this a 12/10
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner one evening and wasn't disappointed. The service and ambiance are well received. I asked our waitress for one of her favorite dishes and she suggested the lemon chicken, so I got that and she was correct, the chicken was perfect. The rice and potato sides were just okay, the chicken def stole the show! Very juicy and flavorful. I also got a Greek side salad that was covered in a bit too much dressing. If you're getting a salad here I would order the dressing on the side!

Yelp
We ate outside along Riverwalk in Savannah. I had Slovaki and my husband had a Greek lasagna type meal. Both excellent. Staff friendly. Food fresh. Such a relaxing interlude on a hot day filled with walking. Note not much space between our table and all the people walking along. We were ok with it. Everyone was courteous and it was great for people watching.

Yelp
After watching the sunset of the roof top bar, we walked over to the Olympia having been recommended. We were seated promptly, our server Erin was warm and super helpful. We had wine and gyro's and everything was great. I'm not sure if it was the ambiance or the friendly people surrounding us that made it a great experience. I know for sure, Erin was fantastic.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch after another place completely ignored us for 20 min. EXTREMELY HAPPY we did. The servers were super friendly! The decor very cute and the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend!

Yelp
You know how you know a place is good? When you dream of it weeks afterward & crave their food? That's mean today! Man I wish I could bop over to Olympia Cafe for lunch today! Their vegetarian options are sooooo tasty and great value! Look at my pics- can't you taste the freshness and the flavor? Didnt think I'd order Greek food while visiting Savannah but I'm so glad my friend & I happened upon here for lunch one day (in fact, we left a uber disappointing rooftap restaurant nearby that didnt even acknowledge us after being seated over 10 mins!) Miffed & hungry we wandered along the waterfront looking for an alternative lunch spot. The Olympia Cafe caught my attention immediately! So many veggie options & non tourist prices! Although it was crowded we were seated right away, and practically had a glass of wine in hand before my butt hit the chair. I was famished so yes I ordered 2 items, and I ate most of it since it was just so good! In hindsight the falafel salad was plenty big as a meal, but I shared my extra hummus & pita with my friend. Everything was quick and fresh and flavorful and tasty. Our waitress was young but polite & attentive. 10/10 would visit again & again (and my friend loved her meat gyro too btw if that's ur sorta thing)

Yelp
Be ready to be transported to Greece - this place has phenomenal vibes. We did get seated in the back but honestly turned out for the better because it was a little quieter. We got the saganki app which honestly was just ok - if you like melted cheese it might be your thing otherwise I would go for a classic. The Greek salad and the Greek village salad were one of the best salads I've had in a while. So fresh. I just had to deconstruct my Greek village salad cause the pieces were big. The tzatziki is amazing please get this while you are here with some pita. Would definitely come again!!!

Quincey H.

Yelp
We ordered food to go from the express part of the restaurant so we could sit down at the river at sunset while we ate which was a great decision! We both good gyros (the menu said it was roast beef but it seemed like lamb which is what we wanted anyway?) The food came out so quickly and was very tasty! Exactly what we were looking for after eating pretty heavy all day. There was a good ratio of meat to sauce to veggies in the wrap so no complaints overall.

Yelp
I am always on the outlook for a classic Greek cafe- nothing fancy, just a nice, classic spot featuring great food and a cozy, family feel. Olympia was exactly that on our recent visit, and some of the best Greek eats I've found anywhere. We stopped in on a chilly Christmas-time evening, and immediately felt at home, with the low-ceiling, landscape paintings, and white tablecloths making for a perfect homey holiday feel. After starting with a couple glasses of house white, we explored their menu, while the hummus, feta puffs, and horiatki were outstanding, the standouts were the absolutely delicious and garlicky skordalia (a rare find on most Greek-American menus) and the feta stuffed roasted red pepper swimming in a pool of bright and zingy Greek olive oil. All served old-school with French bread, everything was perfect and just what you wanted it to be from a classic spot like this. Perfect ambiance and better food, Olympia is my Greek dream come true. I think I might be there every weekend if I was local to the area.

Yelp
Great location. Amazing food. Very Greek! I even appreciated, listening to ABBA and Greek.

Jacob A.

Yelp
Food is delicious! I specifically recommend the tuna sandwich . Fresh home made taste . Service is very traditional lol . The place is in a historical building so it looks old and gritty yet they do have a sit down casual spot next door same kitchen. . This is my must go to spot in Savannah ! I highly recommend.

Dan M.

Yelp
Fresh authentic and delicious food at reasonable prices. Outstanding friendly service. No complaints. Would eat here every day.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was amazing! Visited Savannah from NY and this was above and beyond. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and answered any questions I had. The lemon soup was to die for as well as the chicken kabob and gyro wrap. Excellent ambiance and service!

Yelp
For drinks, food, ambiance and old school service it's hard to beat Olympia. A colleague and I had the cheese plate, octopus, calamari, Mythos beer, lemon cello, lamb shank, ouzo, and the Olympia Cafe trio. It's laid back and quiet. We were able to sit and talk about travel with both the waiter and the owner, who had just returned from Greece. One of my favorite experiences in Savannah. I intend on bringing my family there next time we're in town.

Yelp
Overcharged for inferior food. Price advertised and price charges are different. When asked about advertised price ( folding board on sidewalk in plain view right in front of door) was told someone put the sign wrong and it is only for specials offered during the week not weekends. Prior to getting the bill we hardly received service from wait staff however she did not have an issue with other patrons serving the tables making sure they had everything they needed. Hardly ever spoke to us other than taking our order. Husband asked when ordering about the special displayed outside on the folding out board and she never corrected him or stated that was a weekday special. She brought the drinks and stated that she is warming bread and will bring it to us once it was ready ( never seen the bread was never brought to table not a big deal since we could do without). Staff was quick to clear appetizer plates ( some we still had some food on and asked them to please wait ) I guess we might have upset her when we asked her for lemons? Once we finished with our meal ( no issues no words exchanged etc) I asked for an espresso. I was asked if single or double. I told her single would be fine. Was brought the cup again no issues. I went to wash my hands with my child and when I came back to table she had brought the bill. My husband was asking about the bill I asked what the issue was and apparently she brought the bill over and handed to him He asked about the total and she said oh wait it is wrong and then changed it and told him she had forgotten to add the coffee. He asked about the higher price and she stated that was the price of the meal. I pointed out to her that the price charged and what is shown outside is different and she stated that was not in effect. She sent another young lady over and she told us that when they have specials they hand out flyers and someone moved the sign out on the sidewalk. Had it been out a different way I might have just chalked it up to live and learn while asking a ton of questions, however she stated we should know that when specials are going on they stand outside and hand out flyers. We are not local! Extremely busy weekend. I guarantee 3/4 of ppl were not local!!! No where on sign did it say week day only!!! Also I did not notice until we left that we were charged 1.00 extra for the coffee! Look we are not cheap skates or penny pinchers! The extra @15.00 charged will not make or break me! I am a hard working business owner and one of my children supported herself and paid her way thru college while waiting tables! We took a weekend get away to unwind and relax . My husband is recuperating from a horrible accident and is on crutches. Had our 11 yr old child with us. Last thing we wanted or needed was an issue. Need the money? Please say so, ask and I will do what I can to help out. But do not cheat or try to steal it! I did not ask for a free meal or a discount. All we did was ask about the advertised price. Plain and simple. Honor what is shown but don't treat me like I'm an idiot. I asked for a manager and was told no one was available they were all out celebrating the holiday. She stated if we come back tomorrow ( meaning Monday) we can get the food for that price. Like it or not. I paid the bill TO THE PENNY, and told her I will not set foot in that place again and I will contact management. She flippantly wishes us to have a happy holiday and be blessed. And stated she did not care if we come back or not I ( being petty I admit ) asked what holiday was she referring to and she stated Halloween. I busted out laughing and told her I was not aware Halloween was a holiday and the two wishes did not go together. I informed her that the waitress shot herself out of a good tip ( I usually tip 30-40%) especially if the wait staff is a hard worker. I told her it will cost the restaurant more in sales Contacted the management today and was told point blank that since were were rude she didn't care what I had to say. I asked her what she meant since I had just called and she stated her staff informed her of abusive behavior and will not tolerate it. I guess questioning a price is considered abusive? Well I politely told them no problem that I will be informative to others and spread the cheer. Pics of advertising and menu and receipt are below. I just hope that the extra money charged was worth every penny. I'm posting reviews on all platforms We did not even complain about the food that was mediocre at the best. No genuine Greek would claim the heated over potatoes or dry old feta cheese as authentic This Greek girl knows.

Yelp
This place is a gem. It's been there for a long time and has developed a nice following. The service knows the food well, is friendly, and quick. The food was really good, and the vibes were cozy. I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
Went to Olympia Cafe one of the few nights we were in town in Savannah. I LOVE Mediterranean food. I have a deep connection with it and love it. We ordered Falafel Wraps, Dolmakadia, and Saginaki. The Saginaki wasn't charred enough. It seemed that the waitress doing it might have been new, or the kitchen hadn't cooked it enough before it was brought out. Saginaki should have a caramelized layer of cheese from being burnt on it. This one did not at all. There was no melting or burning of the cheese. While it was warm, it didn't cook nearly long enough. Next the Falafel. The Falafel patties themselves were good, but that was about it. The tahini was the worst blandest tahini I have ever had in my life. There was no additional seasoning in there at all. Lettuce and cucumber, mild tahini and that's it. No pickles. No tomatoes. No additional flavor. Would definitely not recommend. The ambiance was nice. The location is amazing. The service was eh. The food was no good.

Yelp
Shoutout to the Olympia Cafe for some bomb food and a short wait!! Again, Memorial Day weekend for dinner in Savannah.. seems impossible without reservations. Not here!! Party of 3 seated in 10 minutes at 7pm! How awesome. We had Taken the Ferry and Olympia was right in front of us so quick The drinks menu is mid, so I would refrain if you can plus the food will fill you up. We ordered the Tiropitakia as an appetizer but it never arrived, but our waitress explain the ovens were taking a bit so she apologized and gave us free baklava which was honestly even better of a surprise so I'm thankful for that! They do provide great fresh bread to munch on, but for dinner I got the gyro wrap with a a Greek salad. That salad was phenomenal!!!! Wow!! And the wrap was even better. Gotta love surprises like this and we loved Olympia! So reasonably priced and delicious. 10/10

Yelp
Who doesn't love classic Greek food dishes?! Well, y'all, they have it all here! Very clean. Wonderful staff. Authentic dishes. Ole Ty of seating. Was able to walk-in today and get a table for four. Had the Greek Salad and a Gyro. Can't go wrong! Wonderful quality of food, environment and friends! 15OCT2022

Yelp
Classic River Street spot for food with delicious menu items and a fun atmosphere. Had a gift card from our wedding and used it right away a Dj it was totally worth it! Had so much fun with our Saganaki flaming cheese app! The Kalamari, Dolmadakia, and Skordalia we're great starters. My wife and I shared the Stuffed Grouper which was recommended to us and thoroughly enjoyed it with leftovers to bring home. Nice atmosphere inside and definitely would come again in the future!

Yelp
Stopped in here for a quick lunch on a Saturday around 11:15. Perfect timing just before the lunch tourist crowd. Salad was simple and very good, the feta was fresh grated, and the lemon chicken soup was probably the heartiest I've ever had. Our server was very nice and attentive. All in all it was a great lunch time experience

Mike R.

Yelp
Family owed business great service with great tasting food you can't go wrong and you won't walk away hungry! It's Greek
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
The food and service were very good. The restaurant is located right along the riverfront making it an excellent stop while shopping or before getting on a trolley tour.
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
The calamari was wonderful. Crispy and tender. The gyro was good, but could have been better I think. It was room temperature and I think part of that reason was the ice cold sauce on it. The scallops were good but $34 for scallops and fries seems to be very high. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice. The rose in a vase on each table was an excellent touch. All in all a nice lunch.

Chris U.

Yelp
A locally loved restaurant on River Street opened in the time before the tourism boom.

Joellen C.

Yelp
Consistently the freshest fish and friendly service in Savannah over the 20 years we have lived in the low country! We always recommend it to our guest! Olympia Cafe continues to be our go to for the best Greek Mediterranean food! Owned and operated by a Greek family, and ambience is always welcoming!

Yelp
Absolutely love coming here. I ordered the Olympic Special Pizza today, and it came out perfect, I really enjoyed it. Our server was friendly and amazing. I'm definitely coming back again soon.

Yelp
Good little quick Mediterranean food. We did takeout gyros and were very good. They do have a sit down restaurant but we got the take out.

Amelia Z.

Yelp
If you're in Savannah you've got to try this. This was the first time I ever tried a gyro and boy was it delicious. Albeit i've only ever had two gyros. It was a nice delicious meal after a long day of walking. I tried it for the first time back in February of 2023 and again in 2024!

Yelp
I rarely take the time to write reviews but this was the worst meal I've had in several years and I don't want you to waste your money there. It is an overpriced restaurant with small portions, terrible cooking, and bad service. Food: First of all, the food was disgusting. The Greek salad was a wet mess of limp lettuce leaves covered in a disgusting slob of cheese and drenched in sauce. There were two olives and two chunks of tomato. It was so overly wet and sloppy that it was essentially inedible. Then I got the grilled octopus, which was a single skinny tendril for $17. It came with a few pieces of pita which quickly got limp because they were served inside the sauce. The menu was confusing and made it seem like this was a different dish from the octopus that comes with pita, but apparently they just love to give pita with their octopus instead of actually giving you more than three bites of octopus. Service: The food took almost an hour to come out and the service was poor. When I went up to my for my table, the waitress handed me a bill and I paid for what I thought was the whole table's meals. Then she separately went to my guest, who I was paying for, and asked for her credit card, even though I was paying for both of us. It made it seem like I had gone up and separately asked to pay for just myself, which was weird and embarrassing. We never once indicated we wanted separate checks. This is a tourist trap. Please spend your money elsewhere!

Yelp
After a horrible experience at another restaurant last night, we left without ever getting food (have never done this before). We found The Olympia Cafe. Boy are we ever glad we did. Jamie was our server and she was awesome. We asked her what her favorite thing is and we decided on the whole flounder. It was so so good. We also loved the lemon potatoes. The atmosphere is upbeat, happy and it smells totally amazing in there. Jamie topped off our night by offering Limoncello and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful experience. Do not miss this restaurant.

Yelp
The takeout Food was good but the panhandling conflict made this an uncomfortable experience.

Yelp
Needing a change of venue and a different style of food. We found this place on yelp and decided to try. Very cozy setting and very welcoming, hostess and servers are friendly and knowledgeable , helpful on answering questions of food selections. Prices are average and food made well, full of taste and flavor.
