What an incredible hidden gem for delicious quick eats! On top of being tucked away in a comics shop, the food came out looking delectable and tasting like it too.
We each got burgers, which were cooked with a medium well juiciness and a flavorful, smash-style sear. The fries had satisfying crunch and appeared hand cut style.
Maybe the most pleasant surprise was the sauces. Omar's has a house-made take on ketchup, a tad runnier with vibrant tomato taste, and our burgers included a BBQ (on the Outlaw) and a garlic aioli. As a native Texan, I was impressed at the complexity of the BBQ sauce -- smoky, peppery, some sweetness, and a hearty thickness great for dipping and spreading.
The staff was super courteous and patient as we made up our minds, and they checked on customers to make sure we all had everything we needed.
We can't wait to come back to try more of the menu. Thanks, Omar's!
