NOTE: This review is good but not perfect, and it was really hard to rate this. First of all, it was our first time coming here and it was our 25th wedding anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was aligned on what their business stands for in a different way. The service was top notch, and the food was good, but there was a major flaw. The hushpuppies. Being raised in the south, they were thumbs down. No corn and the texture was too smooth. They cooked them properly, but they missed the marked. In other words, I do not recommend the hushpuppies. The yams were also blended smoothly, but this actually worked and I do recommend. The fries were great, but even thoughthe were cooked in the beef drippings from the brisket, they did not stand out, but they were still very good, but not the extra two dollars added for as a side. I maybe have them again. The ribs were great! Flavor was spot on! They were moist, but they were bit over cooked. The bone came loose from the meat, but barely. Good fore tenderness, but not for competition style which I like better. All their sauces are worth taking home or buy a bottle of each and that is what shines there. Like I said, this not an easy review and the food was great, so Ibwill give it the 5 star rating. This is a place where you can enjoy at an occasion. The price is a bit on the high end, so there is that.
