Best Montreal Restaurants for Takeout on Moving Day | Eater Montreal

"More than a place for shawarma (though, they do them well, too), Omnivore does excellent, reasonably healthy, Lebanese food to give your movers a nutritional boost. An omnivore or herbivore lunch box is a quick and easy way to go — you get a few kebabs, salads, and sides. Or just get some sides like falafel, vine leaves, and mini pizzas to snack on as you contemplate how to get the couch through the front door. There are three locations open at the moment — downtown on Mackay, the Plateau across from Leonard Cohen’s old house, and in the Latin Quarter. You can order directly with the restaurant, or on UberEats or SkipTheDishes." - Joel Balsam

The Best Central Asian and Middle Eastern Kebabs in Montreal | Eater Montreal

"Omnivore’s kebabs appeal to carnivores and herbivores alike, offering a range of flavour variations for skewers. Straight from the grill on a platter or wrapped in pita, as a sandwich, diners have the choice of several healthy Middle Eastern-inspired salads and sides to choose between at the counter. A newer location near the BANQ on St. Denis spreads the Omnivore love away from the Plateau, making this value for money eatery a good choice for students, bus travellers, and Village people alike." - Ivy Lerner-Frank

Very good Mediterranean food. Great for a quick lunch. Try the Orzo salad with cranberries and mango, it's amazing. Outdoor patio was nice on a nice day. More umbrellas though would have been nice

Very delicious food. I ordered pickup and enjoyed it so much, I had to go in person. The portion size is fantastic, I had a bunch to take home. I'm not in Montreal often, but I will probably make an effort to come to this restaurant when I'm in the area. I had the battātå and the beef Omnivore, and the flavors and spices were delicious.

Authentic middle eastern Lebanese cuisine in the heart of Montreal! Very generous portions and savory dishes... I had the carnivorous dish with baba ghannouj, hummus, fattoush (salad), lentil rice and toum (garlic), along with 3 skewers of meat (shish taouk and kafta) and Lebanese lager Almaza. Also possible to have a glass of ksara red wine. Vegetarian options available. Make sure to order a side of batata Harra (spicy potatoes)!

I recently dined at a Lebanese restaurant and had the pleasure of trying the Omnivore dish, which included both chicken and beef. The flavors were rich and authentic, perfectly complemented by the fresh fattouche salad, flavorful lentil rice, and smooth hummus. The homemade lemonade was absolutely superb—refreshing and tangy, it was the perfect companion to the meal. I also enjoyed a strong, aromatic black coffee to finish, which rounded off the experience beautifully. The combination of delicious food and quality drinks made this a memorable meal. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and service, loved the omnivore chicken plate and the housemade lemonade. The garlic sauce was also delicious. A perfect healthy meal!

I love that it's a small, cute, and cozy restaurant. There is a terrace overlooking St-Denis Street. The food was delicious. We first started with vines leaves and the chicken sambousik. Just yummy! The pineapple chutney that comes with the sambousik was finger licking. The Inca sandwich was very delicious. Now I want to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Omnivore introduced this drink that tastes just like Coke but is a healthier version. It’s a must-try! They always serve healthy food, now including their drinks.
