Are These Seattle Restaurants Worth The Hype? - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This cafe specializes in drinks that involve Thai tea and rich Thai chocolate—and all of them are excellent pick-me-up candidates. But we like to order it in its most decadent version: the float. The Thai tea topped with Thai tea soft serve is refreshing and even better on Omo’s little patio that is essentially a Bellevue sidewalk, but feels more special." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

The Best Soft Serve In Seattle, Ranked - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Bellevue cafe specializes in Thai tea, and they’re so committed to the craft that it’s available in soft serve form, too. It tastes like the richest, smoothest, boldest cup of the stuff, only churned to a frozen state. That flavor is fantastic on its own, though we also love the way swirls of the coconut ice cream temper the sharp black tea bite." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Omo Thai Tea's bold drinks almost make coffee obsolete - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Bellevue cafe specializes in Thai tea and rich Thai chocolate—and they do it so well that it’s worth foregoing your typical afternoon coffee run to nab some. There are a few routes you can take at Omo, all of them excellent pick-me-up candidates—black tea or floral green tea, condensed milk or coconut, with a cream top or in its birthday suit. And then there’s the soft serve. Available in float form or a cup, the bold swirls encapsulate all the refreshment of Thai tea in a frozen dessert. All that’s left to do is make your car cupholder’s day, or slurp out on the patio, which briefly turns a Downtown Bellevue sidewalk into a great hang." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
As a Thai person, I can confidently say this place truly pays homage to tradition. You can immediately tell how much care goes into every cup— they actually hand-pull their tea, which is such a beautiful touch and not something you see often anymore. The flavor is rich, bold, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness — exactly how authentic Thai tea should taste. Beyond the drink itself, the overall experience feels nostalgic and genuine, almost like being back in Thailand. It’s rare to find a spot that respects the traditional process while still keeping things fresh and inviting. Whether you’re Thai or just love Thai tea, this place is an absolute gem. Highly recommend! Also, the merch is so cute! (I got a hat and candles myself.) Excited to see this brand continue to grow!

Google
A great way to finish the night off is with their soft serve. We had the ube and Thai tea soft serve. The flavor combo works very well together. It's a hole in the wall spot that has enough room for you to go in and place an order and then wait outside. The only challenge is finding parking in the area.

Google
Everything about this magical spot is awesome!! Ordered the super tasty seasonal Pumpkin Thai Latte (hot) and the Kaya Toast. The drinks and food are amazing but the best part is definitely the great customer service and beautiful branding!

Alisha Shaikh

Google
Truly enjoyed their Thai Tea ice cream. The environment is super chill and good space to hangout and chill. Ice cream is a little on the sweeter end, so be prepared for that. We also got the Thai Lemon Green Tea, which I would highly recommended! It’s super refreshing and a great tart summer drink. Overall a place you must try if you like Thai Tea!

Google
Second time coming here. So glad they have an authentic Thai tea shop in Seattle. The shop is super cute but tiny, so you have to get line since they only take one group at a time to order. But drinks come out quickly. I like the concept of sitting outside, especially during the summer time. Parking is quite tricky, but the drinks are worth it! The lemon thai green tea is my most favorite, very refreshing!

Sharon Chuang

Google
The Thai green tea was surprisingly very balanced in taste! Both the Thai and green tea flavors were well showcased in this blended drink. The soft serve was perfectly creamy. The ube flavoring was more prominent, and while the Thai tea part could have tasted a bit stronger, overall, I very much enjoyed this dessert! Also, Ana was so sweet and lovely, that girl deserves a raise!

Google
I’ve been to OMO Thai Tea a few times now, and it’s consistently great. The line always moves quickly—usually just 10-15 minutes—and I get my drink within 5 minutes after ordering. The Thai tea is rich and smooth, and 25% sweetness hits the perfect balance for me. It honestly tastes just like the Michelin-starred Thai tea I had at Pong Cha in Bangkok. Highly recommend!

Google
I didn’t know what I was missing in my life until I discovered this Thai tea cafe. It was my first time trying a green Thai tea latte and—wow—my whole world changed. Since then, I’ve gone multiple times and it’s consistently fantastic. I’ve even brought friends along, and they absolutely loved it too. The drinks are amazing, and the soft serve is rich, creamy, and decadent. Service is always friendly and fast. For someone who isn’t Asian, I found 50% sweetness to be perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re thinking about going, just GO!

Yelp
Such a cute spot. I got the Thai tea with coconut cream so creamy and delicious! Definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
Really nice Thai tea place! The space is comfortable and welcoming, and the service is quick and friendly. The tea tastes great--smooth and refreshing. A solid spot if you're looking for good drinks in a nice atmosphere.

Yelp
The Thai tea and Thai ice cream is sooooo bomb everything taste so good! Would come back again

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time and enjoyed the thai green tea with cream and added boba. The drink was delicious and could definitely taste and appreciate the quality ingredients. Also ordered a ube and thai tea soft serve. I preferred the ube because of the nuttiness but my partner like the thai soft serve. Both flavors were rich and creamy and would recommend it. Lastly, tried the kaya toast which is "Crispy warm toast with coconut kaya and cold butter, topped with pandan and Thai tea sauce". It was good but still preferred the drink and soft serve more. Will have to try the original thai tea next time.

Yelp
for thai tea lovers!!! i love that this place was the color of thai tea too!! we love a theme the service was there. love the candle scent (jade lotus) they were selling. i got the green thai tea which was sweet. the thai tea was so good too especially with the cream on top!!

Yelp
Omo Thai Tea has quickly become one of my local favorites. I've been coming here weekly since their grand opening and it never disappoints. The Green Thai Tea is incredible! It is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I've tried a lot of places, but nowhere else comes close to how good this one tastes. The shop has a clean, modern feel with friendly staff and quick service. You can tell they really care about quality. If you haven't been yet, definitely stop by. The Green Thai Tea alone is worth the trip.

Yelp
Your taste buds are going to thank you for this!! Amazing flavor, cannot go wrong with the classic Thai tea or the light, jasmine flavored Thai green tea. Both perfectly creamy and tasty. Boba is chewy and has a good flavor, but honestly the cream and the drink is all you need. They did let us sample the Thai tea / Ube soft serve, it was sooooo good. Definitely will come back for that alone. You walk up and order at the kiosk inside. The servers are very sweet and helpful with ordering! Not great parking, but a cute little patio for seating outside.
google avatar

Joey T.

Yelp
Cute little spot that has a small but mighty menu based around all of the Thai Tea offerings. As far as Thai Tea goes, I do not think it disappoints.
google avatar

Marge L.

Yelp
The flavors are on point. We got the Thai tea w/ube soft serve & the Thai coffee w/Thai tea soft serve and egg waffle cookie. They got the ube flavor right and the cookie was crispy. The Thai coffee is strong just like I like it.
google avatar

Tia P.

Yelp
I love the thai tea with cream! I got 25% sugar and that was the perfect amount of sweetness. The shop is very small with one ordering kiosk, but there's seating outside. Service was amazing, we were greeted immediately and she went through the menu with us. Drinks came pretty quickly on a thursday night, I will definitely be back to try the soft serve!
google avatar

Binh T.

Yelp
We tried the classic Thai tea and Thai green tea with OMO cream. Both were pretty good. Bobas were just ok in my opinion. I did hear that their soft serve are really good but unfortunately we could not wait in line to order those; so we could not try it this time. The store looks really cute when we stopped by to pickup the drinks and people still waiting in line to order. If you only want to try the drinks, you can order online ahead of time and just pickup , saving a lot of time. However, you can't order the soft serve online/mobile order. I would definitely coming back to try the soft serve next time :)

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was a good amount of people sitting on the outdoor furniture. The shop is tiny with just a to go counter, so no seats inside. The employees were very friendly and efficient though. My friend and I asked for recommendations on sweetness levels, and definitely appreciated the note to lower the sweetness level. We ordered the classic Thai tea with cream and Thai green tea classic with cream, both at 50% sweetness. Both flavors were so good! The Thai tea was a perfect creamy flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the green Thai tea flavor was. It had a great subtle jasmine flavor with the green tea. The sweetness level was still sweet, but not overtly excessive. I would even try a lower level of sweetness next time. Excited to try other products and the soft serve!
google avatar

Yelp
The Thai teas are very creamy and rich in tea flavor. Even when the ice melts as you drink it, it never seems to get too watery. I got 25% sweetness which was the perfect amount--not too sweet at all! The Thai Green tea had an interesting floral note to it. The soft serve had a nice texture, but I felt it was too sweet. I enjoyed the Thai tea flavor the most (very rich tea flavor). The line can get long, but it usually goes pretty quickly. You order at the kiosk and then wait outside until your number is called. In the future, I'd come back for the drinks, but probably not for the soft serve.
google avatar

Megan G.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this place!!! Coffee drinks were very strong and not overly sweet. Soft serve was flavorful and nice texture. I enlisted their flavor combinations. I also thought prices were refreshing. Store front is very small with no seating. There is one order kiosk. They are efficient but prepare for a wait/line at peak times. The outside place you would be waiting is covered. The custard in the Thai tea taro combo sundae was great!! Mildly sweet which complemented the ice team and cornflakes.

Yelp
Finally got to visit after seeing all the hype! I personally think the soft serve is top tier while the drinks are pretty standard. Friendly staff and pretty efficient though, they promise to have drinks out within 5 minutes of ordering. Line up outside the store for the tablet inside to order from. Lots of outdoor seating available and perfect for the summer. My friend got the dairy free Thai Tea that I wouldn't particularly recommend because there's a bitter aftertaste but I appreciate that it's an option.
google avatar

Cari L.

Yelp
Cute walk-up cafe tucked away in a larger office building with Thai tea-focused offerings. The indoor space is tiny so there's only room for one party to order at a time and all seating is outdoors. You order off a kiosk but the staff is very helpful and friendly if you have questions. Didn't try any drinks this time, but the soft serve was delicious and we greatly enjoyed both flavors. Between the two, the ube was surprisingly the winner since it had strong vanilla and yam flavor without being too sweet. Best part was the portion size was large and very filling for the price - definitely stop by on a warm day!
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Small take out only shop. I like the thai tea candles but its so small you don't really stand in there to wait or anything, only to order. Green Thai tea with cream and pearls - very good no astringency and great flavor. 100% this time but maybe 75% next time, cream is light and sweet 4/5
google avatar

Quyen B.

Yelp
The line may seem long, but it does move. The line is actually for guests to enter the ordering kiosk inside. There isn't an actual tea shop/dining area inside after you enter. You enter, go to the kiosk to order and leave to wait for your drinks outside. Then the next guest can enter. I think this system works for crowd control and orders don't get backed up. There is a sign that says you get your drinks 5 minutes after placing the order. We did get our drinks timely. Only downside is you can't wait inside to watch them "hand-pull" your drinks because the next guest needs to enter to place their order. The space is very small. Drinks came out pretty good, didn't have room to try soft serve so can not speak for that. Thai green tea was really good. We walked from our hotel so not sure how the parking situation is.
google avatar

Matthew W.

Yelp
Heard good things about OMO, and it didn't disappoint. Staff is friendly and brings your order when ready. There's a lot of seating (only outdoors). Order via a single kiosk, though there's usually a decent line. The classic and green Thai teas are both excellent and I'd recommend both. However, it's incredibly sugary. I've got a sweet tooth and enjoy Thai teas, but even at 25% sweetness, it was way too rich for me. I'd come back for their soft serve!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Cool Thai tea place! If you're a Thai tea lover then I would definitely recommend this place. I do think this place opened pretty recently, thus the last photo showing a long line, but the wait wasn't that bad and it was pretty worth it! The inside of the store only has a one group at a time policy since there is no indoor seating at all. Perhaps that is the reason for the long line outside BUT the drinks do come out after about 5 minutes. However inside the tiny store is cute and has a self serve kiosk! The Thai lemon black tea was pretty good, not too sweet, tastes exactly like the name of the drink. The Thai tea float was also pretty good, it was topped with ube and Thai swirled ice cream. The boba itself was not that good unfortunately. Kind of hard on the inside and not as flavorful. But it was a good idea to get half sugar since the ice cream adds sweetness to the drink. Thus, both drinks were pretty good, I think personally I just enjoy Thai tea on its own!
google avatar

Justin C.

Yelp
OMO Thai Tea is a new window that serves thai tea and other drinks. I tried the float as well as their green thai tea. Both teas were really good. They both had a deep tea flavor in them, I would say that 100% sweetness was really sweet but I typically get my drinks 25% sweetness now. Parking can be kind of tough based on the location but maybe there was a parking garage I didn't know about. Staff: very nice and helpful (5/5) Sanitation status: 5/5 Thai Tea Float (5/5) This float was amazing, you could really taste a lot of tea flavor and I got it 25% sweet which made the soft serve shine even more since it added the sweetness I took out. I would definitely come back here to try more of their items.
google avatar

Isabella H.

Yelp
Cute little store in the corner. Super tiny inside with 1 self-serve kiosk and pickup counter, but there's a beautiful outdoor seating/lounge area. Quick service, my drink came out within 2 mins and it was super tasty. I'd come back to try other items
google avatar

Rosette T.

Yelp
Omo Thai Tea is a unique addition to the Seattle/Bellevue area as it's the first spot I've come across that focuses exclusively on Thai teas! We stopped by on a sunny day and, as expected, the line was long--but it moved quickly, so no complaints there. We tried the Thai Tea with Cream and the Green Thai Tea with Cream. Both were flavorful and rich. I really appreciate that you can customize the sweetness level and that they offer non-dairy options. I'd probably skip the added cream next time I'm here. While it's a nice touch, the drinks are already quite milky on their own. Still, it's a great spot if you're a Thai tea fan looking for variety beyond the usual offerings as they also have soft serve and floats! Parking can be a little tricky, especially during peak hours, so plan ahead if you're driving. Overall, definitely worth a visit!
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
I went there to try out the infamous thai ice tea. There are so many options to pick and choose from. I was hesitating which one to pick. At the end I got the Thai tea float with ube softing on top. It was good. The Thai tea was good but my favorite was actually the ube ice cream. Haha
google avatar

Dana G.

Yelp
Service was amazing. It was a hot day and a fairly long line. They came out and offered us water! So sweet. There is a little bit of seating outside, maybe 4 tables? Drink was nice, but I barely had an ice cream on the top which I was really looking forward to. They were pretty busy with the line always having at least 4-5 people. Only thing I think that might be useful is having a large menu outside either near the entrance of the line or the entrance of the door so people know what they want to order before getting to the front. I found that's what people spent the most time on and why the line was kind of slow. Thanks for the opportunity to try your drink!
google avatar

Kendra N.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my Thai tea float here. The tea flavor is strong and the ice cream was perfect for my preference. I chose the 25% sweetness for the drink portion and it was amazing. I tried my friends and I do wish I had gotten the swirl of thai tea and coconut. I actually do not like coconut but the coconut soft serve was delightful. The mix of the two flavors makes it even better. I highly recommend getting the swirl. The float itself though there was more drink than soft serve which may have been expected but I wish I had more soft serve. Next time I'll just get soft serve if I wanted more ice cream and then the tea only if I just wanna drink tea. The service was friendly when handing out your order. You just order off a kiosk which is easy and it does come out quickly. The seating for the shop is all outside. There are seats with umbrellas you can sit at and there is a large table in the same little space that can fit a large group. I would say this is my favorite Thai tea spot now!
google avatar

Sandy N.

Yelp
OMO Thai Tea has been one of greatest additions to Bellevue! Specializing in Thai tea, it really brings a diversity to drinks besides boba being marketed to people. I got the Thai Green Tea with Crème and it was wonderful! If you've never had Thai Green Tea it is a game changer! Along with the beautiful aesthetics of the store there's a nice seating area outside for a hot day! It is so relaxing to just be sitting outside chatting with your tea in hand. I'm looking forward to trying their soft serves next time! OMO will always see me coming!
google avatar

Holly Z.

Yelp
If you visit Omo Thai Tea, I highly recommend trying their Thai Tea Soft Serve, it's definitely the highlight. The regular Thai Tea drink itself is surprisingly mild on the Thai tea flavor, so lower the ice level if you order it. If you pair the soft serve with the Thai Tea drink, beware, it gets very sweet, especially on a hot day when the ice cream melts fast. To balance sweetness, opt for 0% or 25% sugar in your drink unless you love it super sweet. I don't recommend adding tapioca or pearls to either the soft serve or drink, the tapioca is hard and flavorless, not the chewy delight you'd hope for. Also, the tea used is jasmine green tea so keep that in mind. The hype was big, but honestly, it's just okay, not mind-blowing, but worth a try if you enjoy Thai tea soft serve.
google avatar

Kristine G.

Yelp
Cute little tea shop serving yummy drinks! We were fortunate to come when there was no line. They had a small indoor space just for ordering and a covered seating area right outside. We ordered using their kiosk and waited outside for just a few minutes before getting our drinks. We got the Thai Tea Float with the Thai Tea and Coconut Swirl and the Thai Green with Cream, both with 50% sweetness level. Both drinks were delicious. 50% sweetness was just the perfect sweetness level, I think getting them at 100% would be overly sweet. I loved the Thai Tea soft serve on top of the float. The Thai Green was a delicate Jasmine drink - light and refreshing. They had one employee guiding customers and offering to answer any questions. The service was good, we got our drinks fast.
google avatar

Kate X.

Yelp
I got the Thai green tea with omo cream on top. The cream kinda tasted like ice cream initially, then there was a thick layer of just cream. The Thai green tea was pretty sweet even at 25% sugar. The tea is light and faintly reminds me of match.
google avatar

Christy N.

Yelp
This is the best Thai tea place I've been too. I'm so glad there's a solid spot in WA for Thai tea!! Their menu is simple: green tea, OG Thai tea, and ice cream. They also have iced version. When ordering, they only have one kiosk so don't be surprised if there's a line. It usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes. Even though the establishment is small, the workers have always been friendly and attentive (: I ordered the ice green tea. It was super refreshing and nice for this hot sun! My personal fav is the ice cream! 10/10 check this place out!

Yelp
I was super excited to try OMO Thai Tea since I've been an avid Thai Tea lover growing up. OMO Thai Tea is located in Bellevue, which is quite out of the way for my day to day life. So, when the opportunity to be Bellevue arose, I knew I had to stop by. I parked nearby, but I couldn't tell if the lot was meant for OMO Thai Tea customers. There was a really small sign that said customers could park there. I didn't see the sign until after I parked and walked closer to the place. The line was longer than I expected, but it was a Sunday afternoon so I don't know why I was surprised by that. The line moves fast though. Maybe at most a 10 minute wait from where I was standing. Note that there is nowhere to stand or sit in the actual shop. All the seating is outdoors. The inside is cute, but very small. Customers will order on the self-ordering kiosk one at a time. I ordered the Thai Green Float with Thai Tea and Coconut Soft Serve at 100% sweetness level. I got a text that my order was ready and a staff member also called out my order number. My order was ready within 2 minutes after ordering. I really enjoyed the concept of a Thai Tea float. You get the best of both worlds; the drink and soft serve ice cream! I don't think it was overly sweet, it felt like the right amount to me. If I am in the area again, I would stop by to try more items!
google avatar

Josh K.

Yelp
We liked the regular thai tea w cream. The green thai tea is nice, light, and floral but honestly wasn't that much better than other places if we're being nitpicky but still solid. It is super sweet so I recommend getting less sweet. Lovely interior and vibes
google avatar

Salina P.

Yelp
Although the line can get long, it does go by quickly. You self order from a kiosk inside, and there is only one so adding a second kiosk would be nice. Once orders are placed, the drinks come out pretty quickly as well. For a Thai tea spot, there really are quite a few options that they give you. The orange Thai tea was good, but I personally love the green tea. I opted for one with the cream topping and got 25% sugar, and it was perfect. The taste of the green tea was so delicious that I am thinking of getting 10% next time. As a plus, they also have options for non dairy preferences. I look forward to coming back and trying their floats! Parking here can be tricky, but I was lucky enough to snag a spot on the street right up front.
google avatar

Vi N.

Yelp
One of the best I've had! I lowered my sweetness for both of them especially the one with ice cream because I knew it'd be too sweet for me personally if I ordered it as is. It was a kiosk self order and the wait wasn't too long. The staff were also nice when I went. I just grabbed & go it but there are some seating there. It's a small spot. I parked where boiling point was and walked over because parking here isn't the best.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
We stopped by 30 minutes before closing and there was no line. The dessert place is small inside with one kiosk to order from and a window to pick up your drinks. There is plenty of seating outside with umbrella. For parking there are two spots right in front and a few street parking to the side of the building. The Thai Green Cream was wonderful. It has a lighter Thai tea flavor with hints for floral which made it unique. However the drink is pretty sweet even at 50% sugar level. For reference I typically get 30-50% sugar for boba drinks. The ice cream swirl of Thai tea and coconut tasted okay. The Thai tea wasn't as flavorful as I hoped and the ice cream melted quickly. The Thai tea drink felt like most other Thai teas you can find at Thai restaurants. Also very sweet at 50%.

Yelp
OMO Thai Tea is such a delightful spot for Thai teas and more! I was so happy to learn that this takeout spot planted in downtown Bellevue, making it easier for me to get this delicious treat. I instantly became a fan after visiting. The lines have been long, especially on a sunny day. But you must prevail! You must wait it out because the Thai tea is divine, especially if you make it a float with the Thai or coconut soft serve on top, which is what I ordered. My colleague and I came here right when it opened and soon after, a line formed on a Friday. OMO is takeout only as it's a small space where you order on a touchscreen and you wait for your order from the kitchen window. There is seating outside, making it perfect for those sunny days. The parking sitch is a little tricky. My colleague and I lucked out with the street parking right out front of the shop, which only has space for three cars. So you'll have to find garage or street parking elsewhere if you can't snag one out front. In addition to Thai teas, they have green teas, coconut and Thai tea flavored soft serve, and some swag, like the candles they sell, which you'll enjoy smelling. I shall be back for more Thai tea treats!

Yelp
The drink was all 3 of us like our drinks, this a taste drink aka not too sweet the flavor was in point, their cream was yummilicious!!!! It was a rare sunny AND sunny warm day and thus it was alright to sit outside (despite the crazy draft!!!) Location is a urgghg!!! It's so small only a group can order at a time in the inside so everyone else is waiting outside. I don't know how Thats going to work when the weather decides to not cooperate but definitely a return soon when/if I'm in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Had to try the new hype Thai tea place. There was a bit of a line on a Saturday at around noon. We waited around 15 min? You order at a tablet and then the drinks are done in less than 5 minutes. Super speedy. The place itself inside is super tiny. It's just a little ordering spot. There is a cute covered outdoor area with seating, but not too much. I ordered the Thai tea with 10% sugar and boba. I thought 10% would be good, but it was still so sweet. I wish I could do 0% :c I tried the drink before it was fully mixed with the syrup, and I really enjoyed the actual tea flavor. With the syrup, it was still good, but not thaaat much better than a restaurants Thai tea. Not for 3x the price and a wait. Boba was good, well made. Overall, solid place for Thai tea lovers. If I could do 0% sugar, this would probably be a 5/5 for me!

Yelp
So happy OMO Thai Tea is around! Sooo delicious and wonderful service. Dog friendly and samples handed out when waiting in the sunny long line. This place is to-go only with outdoor seating and a QR code menu. You will order on the one tablet next to the straw and spoon area. For the dogs they have two water bowls they frequently filled with iced water. Staff is very friendly and nice. The drink I ordered was my fav Iced Thai Green Tea Classic. They recommend and don't really allow any ice changes but do have non dairy option. The drink is delicious! Can't wait to try the soft serve! I am a big Thai Green Tea fan and this place is definitely quality. When in line they handed out samples of the Thai Green tea and the couple in front of me turned around and asked me... if it was matcha and I had to explain the difference. So if you're new to Thai teas just know that this is not matcha...that is a different beverage. And also know Thai Teas do have a lot of caffeine but they are super yummy delicious drinks. :) Would recommend and so excited to return!

Yelp
I don't think this place is worth the hype. For a store that serves only one speciality and has a small menu, the Thai tea didn't taste as good as I expected. I was expecting it to taste like the Thai tea you'd get at a Thai restaurant, but to me, it tasted more like the powdered Thai tea I used to use when I worked at a boba shop. DISCLAIMER: they don't use a powder. They brew their own tea and hand pull it to cool it down. This may be an unequal comparison, but this is just what my friends and I thought. The drinks taste fine though, but they're very sweet, so I wouldn't recommend getting 100% sugar. The soft serve is pretty good though. They also sell candles which is cute. The store is actually just a tiny room you enter to place your order on a kiosk, then you're asked to stand outside to make room for the next person. They have a nice, open seating area outside though, so it's pleasant to sit around on a sunny day. You can add boba, cream, or soft serve to your drink and they have non dairy options. Overall, I wouldn't go back for the drinks, but I'd go back for the soft serve.

Yelp
Best Thai tea outside of Thailand! Authentic toasty flavor and the right amount of sweetness. Servers are sweet and the outdoor seating is super cute with umbrellas. My only recommendation to the business is adding heaters outside especially going into fall and winter!

Yelp
Love this tea spot! The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, the line moves fast, and while there are only a few items, you can customize your order in many preset ways. They have a cute outdoor area in the sun with a variety of seating and tables to enjoy your tea and ice cream. Can't wait to go back, and look forward to more changing seasonal items!

Yelp
Delicious thai tea spot! Ordering was simple through the self-serve kiosk, but if you had questions there was an employee you can talk to. She was friendly and greeted us when we entered. The drink came out in less than 5 mins, and she recommended different ways to enjoy the drink. We ordered the thai tea with cream. The tea itself had a bolder flavor, but was nicely balanced with a slight saltiness in the cream. There is limited outdoor seating.

Yelp
I feel like thai tea is not usually a standalone store, but omo was really good! I prefer the thai tea and soft serve was refreshing and not too sweet. coconut soft serve side was better imo. also got 50% sugar and it was still super sweet so def adjust accordingly. drink wouldve been better w tapioca but thats just preference. also keep in mind that thai tea has a lot of caffeine !

Yelp
When OMO Thai Tea was first opening up, my girlfriend was excited since it's her all-time favourite tea. She has already been there multiple times, but I just got the chance to check it out last week and it's very quaint! It's a small stall where you order the items through a touch screen, and a staff member will call your order out after. We ordered the regular Thai tea with cream top and a green Thai tea with topped with Thai tea soft serve. Both drinks were refreshing and silky, but out of the two I actually preferred the green Thai tea way more. Both are still great in their own ways, and it's perfect for the upcoming summer heat. Little on the spendy-side, but that's just Bellevue prices for ya. Even though it's meant for pick-ups, there are outdoor seating with little chairs and stools that are reminiscent to those you'd find in Southeast Asia. Great place for quick refreshments if you're in the area!

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed in this place. There was a super long line since it has been getting really popular on social media, but we waited ~30 minutes for it. You wait in line to order at a kiosk since there isn't actually any seating inside. I was sad they were out of the coconut soft serve, since I really wanted to try the swirl. I opted for the regular thai tea soft serve instead. It came out quickly, but to my surprise it was already melting and not like some of the other pictures on here. I was hoping the flavor would make up for it, but it really just tasted like normal thai tea. I also tried some of my friend's float but it wasn't anything crazy either. I don't think I'd be back.

Yelp
Came here on a weekend! Great for grab or go, and there is limited outdoor seating. I got the non-dairy Thai tea (made with coconut milk)($6.49) with boba ($0.99), Thai tea ($6.49) with boba (0.99), green Thai tea ($6.49), and ube soft serve ($6.49). The Thai tea was the perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and a strong tea taste (for both the dairy and non dairy). For the non dairy you can taste the coconut milk, which I like. The ube soft serve is super creamy and has a strong Ube flavor. It also melts in your mouth and is super smooth and creamy, not even a little icy. Service was quick and friendly, and I'd definitely come back!
