RECOMMEND: Omomo Matcha Got their Omomo Matcha, very good. Very busy even on a weekend night because of how busy the whole plaza is, so make sure to have enough time. Waited around 10 minutes for the drinks, quite fast for how many people they had. Inside was nice too but no self order kiosk and seating is limited. Reviewed 10/06/2025

This is a solid spot for tea lovers with a cozy, stylish interior and a popular vibe - there’s usually a line, but they work fast, and there are a few benches inside to wait comfortably. The atmosphere definitely adds to the experience. Their menu includes a variety of cream-topped teas, milk teas, coffee drinks, smoothies, and fresh teas, with most drinks ranging from $4.50 to $6.95. There's also a nice selection of unique items like tiramisu foam toppings and creative seasonal specials. That said, I do wish they had more variety in their fruit tea options. Right now, the choices are mostly limited to strawberry, lemon, orange, and grapefruit, it’d be great to see more seasonal or tropical fruit flavors in the mix. Another thing to note: this is one of those places where the boba itself isn’t sweet. Personally, I found that 50% sweetness in the strawberry boba tea wasn't enough when I wanted something on the lighter but still “classic” sweet side - I’d recommend going with at least 80% sweetness for better balance. Also, the boba pearls are served hot and tend to be a bit bland compared to others I’ve had elsewhere. Overall though, it’s a nice place to treat yourself, but honestly, it’s not worth waiting in line for 40 minutes or making a special trip just to come here. Maybe - just maybe - for the tiramisu topping, which is pretty unique and tasty. Otherwise, it’s a nice place if you’re nearby, but not a must-visit. I am attaching their digital version of the menu for the future.

Drinks are fine, I’ve always liked OMOMO flavors. But I am done with these foil lids. They frequently fail to create an airtight seal and leak all over the car. This time I requested a reseal and they replaced the foil with a plastic cap, which would have been a great solution if it didn’t spill even more. (Zero empathy from the staff or napkin offers or anything). And they have no bathroom access so I get to drive home two hours away with sticky hands.

Omomo Tea Cafe has good drinks, but the shop really needs better organization. The order system feels confusing and uncoordinated, which slows everything down. Also, the cleanliness of the store could use more attention — tables and the general space should be taken care of more often. Improving these areas would make the customer experience much better."

Hands Down the Best Matcha Ever! 🌿💚 Omomo Tea in LA is next level! I’ve tried matcha from all over, but their green tea matcha is by far the best I’ve ever had. It’s rich, smooth, and full of flavor clearly made with high-quality ingredients. What really took it over the top for me was the cheese foam it adds the perfect salty creamy balance that beautifully complements the matcha. So good! And let’s talk about the boba, it is unbelievably soft and chewy, just how it should be. You can tell everything is freshly made and thoughtfully crafted. It even looks like the matcha is blended, not just shaken, which gives it a super smooth texture. The shop itself has a clean, modern vibe, and the staff were super friendly and efficient. If you’re a matcha lover (or even if you’re not), this place is a must try. We seriously hope they franchise in Canada. I’d be first in line to open one! 😁 That’s how much we loved it. Can’t wait to come back!

Yeah it's a solid place I'd come back to every now and then but definitely not my go-to. Boba Milk Tea is my love language, so I have high expectations. I was not "blown away" but it definitely has a unique taste. The design and overall aesthetics are superb. Something you can be proud of taking a photo, I guess. My wife loves it and because of her I'd come back. But those lines have definitely deterred me away. I'd come 10-15 min before opening because there'll be a line forming already (even on a weekday). I wish they'd maybe implement a online ordering system but I assume that might lead to longer wait times for the folks in line and I can see them surcharging that. Overall, go ahead and try it. Plan ahead unless you don't mind waiting in long lines. But I believe hype definitely plays a part into it. Even though there's something unique about the place-- I don't feel I'm missing out a ton by going to other places.

Osmanthus milk tea, 0 sugar, with salt cream top and boba is amazingly good! The boba and cream top carries a little sweetness which adds to the milk tea is the exact sweet level I’m looking for! Give it a try!

Legit the best Boba I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t wait longer than 30m for it, was lucky to come at a downtime and waited only about 20m from line to receiving the drink. Highly recommend the Omomo Matcha, it’s a showcase of everything that elevates this place above the others, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t even really like Matcha all that much! If you don’t value your time a ton and mind waiting 45-75m, this is good boba, but IMO not worth a long wait- go when the line is short or hit up another spot instead.
