"A food brand that began offering free flash tattoos after a 2021 anniversary party where pre-drawn designs — including a knife, a match and a steaming bowl of rice — proved unexpectedly popular, filling the waitlist in about 20 minutes and prompting the brand to include flash at every event since. The designs tend to wink at product releases or collaborations (for example, Spam musubi for a Spam collab or a chile pepper paired with a disco ball for a noodle rave) while avoiding overt logos, so the imagery can function as both a playful souvenir and a subtle insider marker.
