ON Residence, Small Luxury Hotels of the World

What can I say. I/we loved everything here from the awesomely friendly and helpful staff, no matter at the entrance, reception, restaurant or the rooftop bar. Also the roomcleaning/housekeeping did a simply amazing job. Everything is perfectly clean and cozy. We also loved the whole interieur design of all areas and the room. The breakfast was perfect and also the staff here was charming, friendly and helpful all the time. The location is perfect to explore the city and the sea view of our room was very relaxing. Late checkout also isn't a problem either. The restaurant "Olympus Naoussa" and the "ON Rooftop Bar" are also a big bonus for this nice place. Thanks to every single one of you. We will love to come back. 🫶🏻

The good/great:|- Great location to walk around, see the sites and have a great meal. Thessaloniki is a wonderful city. |-There was a very nice welcome treat for Hilton Gold status.|-Breakfast staff were wonderful. Breakfast offerings were quite good and included cooked to order options.|-The roof bar was a wonderful spot to have a drink in the evening. The staff was engaging and helpful.|-The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable.||The less than stellar:|-We made the mistake of booking courtyard view which was really the back of some other buildings with the courtyard somewhat visible way down below. I inquired about a water view at check-in and was advised we may only do so for a high fee. I found that disappointing as a Gold member.|-A guest was permitted to smoke a cigarette INSIDE the hotel foyer. The doormen were there with her so it isn't like staff were unaware. Guests had to walk through the smoke filled space and it also invaded the breakfast dining area. |-The restaurant was closed to guests the first night of our stay due to a private party.

The location is excellent — just steps from shops and restaurants. Amenities are decent, and the bathroom is a reasonable size. I stayed in a sea-facing room with a balcony. While the view was lovely, the room was quite small, with limited seating and no extra space. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were firmer than I prefer. Unfortunately, the hotel also operates a rooftop nightclub. Loud music and bass continued until midnight, making it nearly impossible to sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Even more frustrating was the lack of management presence. I asked to speak with the manager in the evening — no one was available. The next day, I waited over an hour and still no manager appeared. As a Hilton Diamond member, I expected better service and accountability. Later, the operation manager Magda was properly addressed the noise issue by relocating to a lower level and providing many supports to ensure the comfort of the guests staying the hotel. I do feel the management team takes serious of their guest requirements. Plus, the restaurant Olympos Naoussa inside the hotel was super delicious.

What a great location on the promenade and with the coast just a walk over the road. Very friendly welcome and stunning design. Helpful and cheerful staff. Room was adequate and a reasonable size. Had everything we wanted. Breakfast was a good choice of buffet and off-the-menu dishes. I thought it was excellent value and would recommend

We had an amazing stay at the On Residence. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and the location is great. Many places to eat and opportunities to take public transport. A big compliment to the lovely staff at the hotel. They are professional and friendly and made sure that we would enjoy our stay even more. Especially the staff in the restaurant during the open breakfast. I highly reccomend this hotel!

What a very cool boutique hotel with great history and location to the central square, port and shopping. Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly and the rooms are super clean. The rooms are a bit on the small side with not much room to spread out, but if you don’t spend much time in the room and enjoy the city then it doesn’t matter. Well worth a few nights visit for the experience and location!

It is not a 5star hotel at all. Although they market massage services, they are not available, no wellness are, the fitness room /gym is as big as a mini-bathroom, only one person can fit. Even though there are 3 men standing in the entrance hall, no one helps you with your luggage. There are far better hotels in Thessaloniki (f.e. Excelsior where I stayed the last time). Rooms can be small and it is loud in the backyard if you sleep with open window. Excellent is the one lady in the service at breakfast who would do extra effort for a coffee with foamed milk. Conclusion: This hotel is overrated. The best about it, is the rooftop bar, stylish and a nice view.

I wanted to give 5 stars.... Room was nice, but so dissappointed in the view from the solid wall balcony. Location was in the hub of great food, things to see and tons of people. Somestime you couldn't walk down the street. And definitely couldn't get an uber in the evenings. If you pay for a view ask if you can see the view from the room or balcony. Most staff were fantastic, especially the staff in the restaurant, weather breakfast or dinner. Just the one girl checking us in and every encounter had ab attitude problem.
