So many beers so little time! Such a wide variety of beers on tap! Bartender was friendly and so helpful! Not a huge place but very clean and cozy. Great prices and they have growlers to go!

Google
One of the breweries I had on my list and it didn’t disappoint. Had a blonde style beer, recommended by the server and made an executive decision for me. Glad he did too

Chris Callow

Google
Nice beer selection. Good service and tunes. Sports on tv.

Google
I've been to On Tap a few times and each visit is relaxed, fun, and filled with tasty beer. Absolutely would recommend others visit if they're in the area. The beer list is huge, and there's plenty of seating. Cool spot!

Google
Small, very clean & friendly atmosphere! Not usually crowded, which I really like. Have only been here 5 times & found the bartenders to be very helpful & friendly (I drink ciders & mead only). It's a "bring your own food & relax" kind of place, which I really like. They do allow pets. Well behaved goes without saying! Once a year, they host a chili cook-off, which was my intro to On Tap! The chilis were great, as were the ciders! It was a lot of fun! I definitely recommend On Tap!

Google
GREAT selection of beer, mead, ciders, and seltzers! Amazing friendly knowledgeable service and overall awesome atmosphere. Family and kid friendly.

I can't believe I didn't know this place existed! Yesterday, I stopped in to join some friends - old & new, it did not disappoint! It has a chill vibe, love it. Seating is super spacious, it's BYOF, which personally I have always liked that concept. Downtown Arlington has a lot of places to choose from - to name a few it's close to Grease Monkey, Cane Rosso, Hurtado's, Tipsy Oak & many others. With a large variety to choose from #46 was my choice that night, #26... yes, like my friend said "slowly sip it". 🤣 It was good, maybe on a weekend night instead of a weekday night. Spin the wheel if you don't know what to get! I think our bartender was named Katie? It seems my friends might be regulars, but I hope I got it right from when I heard them say her name. She was great, super sweet & friendly! I'll be back! Stop by here if you get a chance, definitely worth it!

Google
Laid back craft beer spot with a good selection. Got a flight to try a few different beers. Was planning to get another but when the employee working sneezed into his hand and didn’t wash his hands I knew I wouldn’t be having another beer. Didn’t want that on my glass.

Yelp
Great spot. The beer selection is excellent. Once they finish a keg a different beer goes on. They have a little bit of everything from stouts to pales to sours. When I am in the area again I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
What a great little place! If you're into beer, you need to check out On Tap. We met up with some friends here and stayed for hours drinking beer and chatting with the staff. Gio was working when we came and she kept us entertained. If you don't come for the beer, come for the people.

Yelp
We stopped here after an entire day of eating at various Arlington restaurants, hoping to have a few good beers before calling it a night. Their beer selection (which I check out online) made it seem like a good option and we all were looking forward to having a few pints. Unfortunately, eager anticipation was met with MAJOR disappointment. It wasn't the beer that disappointed us, it was the bartender and her buddies. She was more concerned with talking (yelling might be a more appropriate word) to her obnoxious teacher friend seated at the end of the bar than doing her job. Her female buddy is obviously a regular at this place, and because of her, we left after trying just a few samples. I spent 28 years in education, and I was embarrassed by some of the things I heard coming out of this teacher's mouth (and trust me everyone in the entire place heard her because she was WAY too loud!). If you want customers to spend time at this place, I suggest you hire a bartender who has a personality, pays attention to her customers, and at least acts like she appreciates the business of someone besides just her friends. This place is a tap room, not a bar. Don't be afraid to cut off someone who obviously has already had too many beers. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because they did have a decent beer list. A different bartender would possibly take it up to 4 stars.

Yelp
This local Arlington downtown craft store is an extremely welcome addition to local beer establishments. Arlington is an up and comer for beer culture. For several years World Of Beer has been the local go-to for fine brews. I'm forever indebted to WoB for introducing me to New Holland's Dragons Milk. On Tap is a strong contender for favorite beer spot in DFW because of it's intimate, casual setting and dedication to obscure, craft greatness. I'm a sucker for a barrel-aged stout or porter. On Tap seems to carry a never-ending supply of complex, dark, rich, hearty, brews for me to try. If this place was down the street from me, I'd be here multiple times per week. I'm not sure whether I'm happy or sad about that. But, I find reasons to meet others at On Tap as often as I can! I love this place!

Yelp
We love this little craft beer tap room downtown. It's in a great location to bar hop, and every time we've come in the afternoon it's been quiet and low key. (The tap room is a bit small, so I'm not sure how it would be on a busy Friday or Saturday evening, but we've never had any issues with having great service during the afternoons.) They've got tons of beers on tap, and something for everyone, although they tend to lean heavy towards certain types of beers (at least in my experience). You can also get smaller pours if you want to try more than one. On Tap and Kool Keg are both 5 star experiences in my book in terms of beer, and are very similar in terms of what they offer, however Kool Keg has a slightly different crowd. And of course, if you want to hop around each one offers a slightly different experience of places near by. My suggestion: try them both and see which one you prefer! :)

Yelp
On Tap offers a wide selections on tap (up to 50 beers) and update them quite frequently. Most beers come in different sizes like 5oz 10oz 16oz 32oz, and prices are clearly marked. They'll let you sample the beer before you order if you asked. Everytime we went, the bartender on duty was able to recommend beers that suits our taste. They also sell and refill growlers and crowlers. Since they don't sell food, you can bring your own food or takeouts if you want. Our group has been coming here for years. Good beers with great friends, what more do you want?

Yelp
We were in town overnight and decided to drop by On Tap based on their beer selection. We were so glad we did! Great little spot with quite a number of different types of beer. Our beertender, Jaz (sp?) was super knowledgeable and friendly. She made our stop even better! We will definitely stop by again!

Yelp
Went this past weekend with my boyfriend, and we enjoyed ourself. Lots of beer to choose from. Everything was clean and smelled like bleach. We got a flight and fell in love with the skittle beer! They even have board games . We will be back!!

Yelp
This spot tho. My first craft beer stop in this lil corner of Texas. A good number of digital taps but the space is too small when its crowded. Turning point was here my first stop thru here and it was packed out. Good thing turning was giving free beer or I would have left. Found a bar stool after 10 min. Lady next to me told me she needs an extra stool to put her feet on. She was toasted and not making sense. I ignored her. Anyway, staff was friendly. Good rotation and prices for craft beer. No food here and parking was tight the first time I came. One bathroom and I can't imagine that working for long at a beer bar??. I enjoyed. Not the best but its a cool spot. Come see

Yelp
While I am not a huge beer drinker, when I do drink I like to have craft beers. If you don't know what to get or just want to get a flight to try a variety. On Tap is the place to go! With over 50 beers on tap, which changes ever so often, each time you go you can find something you love or try something new for sure. The cost of a entire flight is under $10, which gets you 4 beers to choose from. While the size of each flight glass probably equivalent to 1 tall beer glass, if you're looking to get buzzed or drunk, I would probably order one of the regular sized options. Now on to the drinks I've had: Fiesty Blonde - personally the 1st time I've had it I thought it was ok, the second time I got it my fiancé said it tasted like soap...now I can't get that notion out of my head. Queen of the Mist (Passion Fruit) - I loved this one! Some might say it's not a real beer because it wasn't that hoppy, I personally thought it went both ways. I recommend this for sure. Dynamo - was another sweet type of beer. Yes I love my sugary drinks. This was also very good. C.R.E.A.M - this dark beer was a coffee type of beer. I love coffee so I had to try. It was okay but if you really want a better coffee type beer get the... Sticky Nuts - this milk stout with hazelnut and coffee was excellent!! I could go on-and-on but one advice I could give is take some risk and choose blindly. Read a few reviews but honestly you'll see all the options you'll give up reading. My advice...just get want you think looks cool! Note: there is no food here. They do have to-go menus available for the many restaurants around. Also parking is plentiful in the parking lot or street adjacent to the building..free.

Yelp
Absolutely excellent spot. This was my first time here and I was thoroughly impressed. They have 50 beers on tap and they're all quality brews. The staff let me and my group sample anything we wanted, which was awesome. The bartender was beyond helpful and accommodating. Walked out with a crowler and I know for sure that I'll be back. Huge fan of this spot. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Daisy C.

Yelp
I love this place, it has a WIDE selection of different beers and the bartender was very knowledgeable of the beers as well. I wouldn't mind a little bit more of a bigger snacks selection, but that's just me being a fatty.
google avatar

Kelli T.

Yelp
Small seating area outside, 8 tables inside and 4 bar stools up front. 50 different beer taps with local and national choices. Growlers and crowlers available for sale or bring your own to fill with your favorite. 2 televisions on with no sound and music playing quietly. A few snacks available but 3 restaurants near by. There's a shelf of board games to play near the door.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow!! Craft Beer Lovers this place has amazing flavors. We had #32 Martin House Pina Cola a: coconut & pineapple cream ale.I have to say we each got more pablano peppery flavor. Didn't taste the coconut or pineapple. # 14 903 Down with the Pastryarchy Vol. 3: probably most refreshing craft beer we have ever had. The flavor is amazing and the angels lace, we'll should I say more? No. #29 Brooklyn Black Ops (2018) Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout Great Flavor rich and creamy . #28 903 Stout with the Pastryarchy: Pastry Stout with Oreo Cookies yummy super good and really different. So many more choices!! Come try

Yelp
This place is so awesome! They have a huge variety of drinks on tap. I went here on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded so that was a plus. They do flights of four 5oz drinks AND to top it off THEY ARE SUPER AFFORDABLE. Most of the 5oz are $2-3. I think my flight altogether was like $9. This place is definitely the place to go for a chill night in or even a date night. They also have board games that you can play. The only thing is that the music is off-putting.... I didn't know any of the songs that were playing so I think the music selection can be improved especially since this is around a college town, maybe play more top hits and throwbacks. Music creates the ambiance and will get people to stay and drink longer (in my opinion). But definitely will be back here many more times!

Yelp
Great spot for selection of beers and ciders! My husband and I stopped by yesterday for the first time and we enjoyed our time! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers and ciders. It is nice small but roomy establishment for a casual day out for a drink. I loved the cider I picked so much that we got a growler to take home. Definitely try this place if you love trying new beers and ciders. The selection is awesome and the staff has great suggestions!

Yelp
I stopped in here after a movie for beers and conversation and I wasn't disappointed by the offerings. This is a straightforward multi-tap bar with beers and flights served by knowledgeable bartenders. It's somewhere I'd return to if I were in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
I am loving this spot! Always a wide variety of beers on tap, super friendly staff, and a clean, bright, trendy atmosphere (Love the bottle cap art!!). They've recently made the addition of having games available on the tables for groups to play.. I highly recommend a flight of beer with a game or five of Uno! The location is really convenient, as the area itself is fairly lively and there's plenty of places around to eat before or after you have some tasty beer. I love how the place is unassuming and seems to be all about the beer, not trying to create a stuffy or fancy atmosphere. Plus, having of plenty of seating is a HUGE plus to me. Sadly, it seems for some reason they were unable to have a bar top at the register area, so you can't easily sit over there and and chat with the bartender. There are stools, but you have to be okay with your knees being at your chest. Not the end of the world, and certainly not enough to remove a star. I will go back again and again to this place because it is great!
google avatar

Yelp
On Tap is a nice quiet small tap room. They have a very good selection of beer. You can have it by the glass or by a growler. Small bar area with a few tables to sit around. They have a few televisions on the walls. The beer is listed with information or ask the bartender they have all the information on beers. On Tap is about like going to a Subway sandwich shop but it is beer instead. And I love beer.
google avatar

Ronald F.

Yelp
A crisp, clean and friendly tap room with a multitude of selections. Truly a great place to relax while exploring. A great brewfest!
google avatar

Linda K.

Yelp
Comfortable and affordable place to have a night out with some homies. Love that it's not super crowded like other places. A huge selection of local craft beers! Also have four large tv to get your sports on! I also really like there's a big selection of board games!
google avatar

Yelp
This place, like many new places popping up everywhere, is a craft beer hotspot. They have roughly 50 beers on draft and the menu is a variety of styles. Of course, they offer some local favorites (I noticed they currently offer 2 from Legal and a couple from Armadillo) and some beers that are a little more well known in the craft world. I was meeting a friend at Grease Monkey and parked, noticing the bright white sign saying "On Tap." At first I thought it was an office building. When I noticed I wasn't, I thought that it may be closed because there is no open sign. Me being me, I simply opened the door and walked in. There were two patrons, a distributor and the bartender. I'm not sure when they opened, but the grand opening is not until the 28th of January. A cool thing is that you can to the website and see the current selection and even the levels left in the keg. I'm a fan of this. They had TVs and appreciated that one was on FXX and one was on ESPN. The bartender Jas was very nice. She informed me that you can order food from next door at Grease Monkey and have it brought over. She was also helpful with making drink selections. There is merch for sale (cups, growlers, shirts) and they will fill growlers. The sizes available of most selections on the board are 5oz, 8oz, 16oz and 64oz. The prices are clearly listed. They also offer "flights" of 4. If I could offer advice to the patrons it is to look ahead online at what you want to get started. The selction can be overwhelming (in a good way) and if you don't like Grease Monkey then eat before. If I can offer the owners any advice it would be to put open signs out (especially on the Mesquite street side). It's dark over there as it is and it looks like an SVU episode waiting to happen. Cheers!

Yelp
I like On Tap. I have been twice now and my second visit was much better than the first. Jas was serving us and my boyfriend and I sat at their version of a bar top. She is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and has great recommendations for beers. She really wanted to make sure we got beers we wanted and enjoyed. With 50 rotating beers on tap it has something for everyone. What I like is that they use Digital Pour so you can easily go online before and get an idea on how much the beers will be/see if any of your favorites our on tap. That is always helpful when drinking craft beer, because it can get expensive quickly. They are about a mile from a competing tap room, Kool Keg, but they definitely have better prices and variety. One of the beers I wanted was $2.50 for a taster at On Tap and $4 for the same beer at Kool Keg. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that the décor itself is a bit unimpressive and stagnant. From what we gathered they had a lot of issues with permitting/opening so they have not been able to get to where they want to be. Jas told us they eventually want local artists paintings on the wall, but it just hasn't happened yet. I will definitely continue to support this local business. The owners are great, beer is top notch, and prices are just right.

Yelp
For the better part of eleven months of the year, I usually stick to one regular beer. While I do keep an eye on what's on tap around my realm of influence, I usually only step inside these beer bars around the holidays when the seasonal stouts hit the taps. This place is one of the more reasonable ones. There are four of these "locally" to my territory, and this is one of the two I prefer to go to. This mainly deals with they seem to be a lot more reasonable towards serving size and pricing. Unless something is really rare, or hard to get, you can usually score a pint for $5-6. I'm sick to death of places that pull out the ole "this is rare we only get one small keg a year nobody else will get it and it has a high ABV so we CAN'T offer it in anything larger than eight ounce servings and that will be $7 we would never think of trying to gouge cause we love beer too thank you very much" BS schtick. They have a 50 tap capacity, so they usually have a pretty good selection to offer. They do the obligatory growler and crowler fills, but usually I'm just there for a couple beers of something they have I want to try and move on. It's nothing fancy inside, I think they could have made better use of space by using smaller tables instead of the the bigger ones, but it doesn't reflect my rating...jus sayin'. Service is always good and friendly. I notice they have some live music from time to time. Anyway, I like the place, added plus is being able to grab food from one of the places within 50 feet before, during, or after your visit.
google avatar

Gerry C.

Yelp
This is an excellent place and the owners are great people. The beer selection is varied, well balanced, and rotating constantly. The even have 2-3 non-alcoholic options for the designated driver. The beer menu is available on line at their website and also available on Untappd, You can follow them on face book and keep posed on new taps, pint nights, Middle of the Month Open Mike Night, and other events. "MOM" Open Mike night should be on your calendar every month. Parking is plentiful both in the parking lot they share with Grease Monkey and other businesses, and across the street on Mesquite (accessed through their back door. They're a short walk from Levitt for a pre or post-concert libation. They're always working to improve your experience here, with menus for delivery from nearby restaurants, board and card games, and wide screen televisions. Don't miss the Beer Cap Map and the column of brewery stickers, they're always looking for additions to both. The staff and the customer base is a friendly mix. To quote some famous lyrics about a place you want to go, a place : "Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came....You wanna be where everybody knows Your name."
google avatar

Chad T.

Yelp
Stopped in over the Thanksgiving weekend and had great service and beer...plus a nice conversation with the bartender. They offer a good selection of all kinds of craft beers. Definitely was worth the trip!
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
The People = 5 stars Selection; depending on your personal beer tastes= 3 or 4 Stars Ambiance= 3 stars. Its pretty basic in there Arlington needs places like On Tap to thrive; so I try to support it as much as I can. I like the fact you can check their current tap list online and then its easy in and out to get your growler filled. Sometimes they have stuff I am interested in trying or know I like and other times not so much. But that's kinda how it goes with craft beer. I do like the fact that they are changing their taps over regularly.
google avatar

Cameron M.

Yelp
Very nice place to go and grab a beer on a rainy day! Amazing beer selection along with friendly staff and very laid back atmosphere makes this place a must stop before any sporting event! Located right next to two other local breweries it's in the perfect place for any beer enthusiast!!!
google avatar

Ken S.

Yelp
Great place! Excellent selection of beer, cider, and mead. They also have a good selection of bottles to go.
google avatar

Miriela R.

Yelp
This place has a large selection of good local beers and you can even see online what they have on tap before you go! Friendly staff, clean and they have lots of board games to play. Definitely coming back! Only recommendation to make it even better is dimming the lights inside and playing music outside.
google avatar

Tonny S.

Yelp
Awesome awesome ! Tons of local options! Very friendly staff, very helpful big fan. When ever I'm in the area I'll def swing by they have 50 options I can see so you shouldn't get bored at all! I love the fact that most of the drinks are local options! I say try it with out even thinking twice
google avatar

Yelp
There are places like this popping up all over town. But I was still surprised to find one in...Arlington? If only this would have been around when I lived in the area ten years ago. I would have been among their top customers. The concept is great and no different than Bluffview Growler in Dallas or the half dozen growler fill places that seem to have popped up in Denton County. They have about 50 taps, most of which are filled with craft beer--though there are a few reserved for soda, kombucha, cider, etc. You can buy beer in sizes ranging from a 5 oz taster to filling a giant growler. You can bring your own growler or buy one. While you're at it, I'm sure you buy some other merch--maybe t-shirts or something. Like all of these places, don't expect a bar environment. It's more like a small shop that sells beer with tables. Emphasis on SMALL for this place. It could use a few more tables. Size is about the same as Lonestar Taps & Caps in Lewisville. It was really crowded a few hours before an event at Cowboy Stadium. I didn't love their selection of beer, but that's probably personal preference and it may change the next time I'm in there. I like sours, interesting stouts, and IPAs. There was nothing along those lines that caught my attention. Then again, that may change a week from now--the taps are always rotating.

Yelp
Best beer place I've been to into town. Definitely a go to place to come after class or find a place to relax and hang out. They deliver grease monkey if you wish and mellow mushroom. Great 50 beers on tap and you can do a flight for 8-10 bucks for 4 beers.good price if you ask me
google avatar

Zane W.

Yelp
Great beer selection & great customer service from the owners of the establishment. Awesome to see a fine craft beer pub in the town where I grew up. Great work On Tap & keep it up!
google avatar

Dan H.

Yelp
Fantastic growler shop with a great staff and selection. About 50 beers on tap (give or take, they might have coffee or root beer) and all of them are coveted. Super great selection, every style you could want, and great prices. They also do beer flights if you're not sure what you want and sell growlers of all sizes to go.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
Great place to come and have a beer! The service was great. I don't know much about beer and the staff really took the time to help me choose the right kind. The beers are always changing which is awesome. Something new and different to try. Lots of local brews. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Amanda D.

Yelp
On tap rules! I can't believe some guy would review this place badly based on the fact that they had beers he didn't like. There are 50 taps of varying styles and they are careful about what they order. If you can't find something you like here, then you just don't like beer, my friend. I really like to come here get a few tasters and then grab a crowler to go of something I like. Also, the bar staff is always up for a nice conversation. If you don't like good beer and good people, then do everyone a favor and stay home.
google avatar

Savannah S.

Yelp
Great pub in the area! They have about 50 beers on tap and most of them are local. Great range, a ton of beers that most people don't have. Great way to try out new beers as they offer flights. Brian was our bartender and he was awesome, very knowledgeable of all the beers and had great recommendations. They also sell growlers in 3 sizes and crowlers (those are $1). They also put on a lot of local breweries that aren't very well known (celestial, Manhattan project). There are also a bunch of games in the corner that I didn't see until walking out. The only downsides are there's a single toilet for everyone and the inside is a little plain.. just missing something. Will definitely be back, probably on a Thursday for thirsty Thursday!
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
If you like craft beer this is certainly a place to visit. They have 50 beers on tap and an electronic display which will tell you as they are running low. This can be accessed online as well which helps if you are looking for a specific beer. If I had to change one thing it would be the lighting. It felt like a really bright beer store rather than a bar. Granted you can buy growlers to go, but this is not the main purpose. In Dutch there is a word I love for a good bar... Gezellig. This place did not feel this way at all. It was very sterile. The service made up for the lack in atmosphere, bartender was awesome. Let's be honest, I'm happy with a good beer in my hand regardless of the lighting. I will be back. Probably very regularly.

Yelp
Went in tonight with my husband to wind the night down. Great friendly vibe. The place is warm and inviting. We were geated by Jas who really knows her stuff. They have a great selection of on tap beers and even cold brew coffee. They also have games for a chill date night or a great time with friends. Check the place out. You won't regret it!
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
Cool tap room. Tons of choices, mostly Texas brews, which I liked b/c it allowed me to try a lot of beers in one place. Prices were very reasonable. I tried 7 diff 5oz brews, and spent $22.
google avatar

KatyRed1980 N.

Yelp
Drew & his ever changing cast of All-Stars are fantastic. Like others have said, the selection is fantastic, primarily Texas brews, many from around the Murderplex. Prices are in line with other places in the area, maybe a bit cheaper. Look for the specials when you are there. Also, get the DigitalPour app and do your homework before arriving. If you have a problem with the music they are playing just ask and they'll rotate to something else. As for me and Drew it's classic rock. Just don't ask him for AC/DC.

Yelp
This place was great. The bar tender was knowledgeable in all the beers and the list was endless! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Loved stopping in this nice tap house to drop off flyers for my upcoming burlesque show at Arlington Music Hall, which is just across the square. Definitely recommend stopping in and bellying up to the bar.

Yelp
Outstanding atmosphere, with a revolving tap menu. Truly appreciate the selection, and the knowledge of "the staff" (Daniel) is by far better than any other tap house! We may become regulars!!

Yelp
One of our new favorite places to hang out on the weekends and invite friends/family out to. With the incredible, always changing selection of beers on tap, there's something for everybody here. We love to just sit at the bar and chat with the bartender, trying a few "taster" 5 oz pours and passing the time. There's also individual tables and board/card games free to use. Looking forward to many more visits.

Yelp
Every beer we tried was really less than satisfying. I've never tried so many beers that I did not like.
