On the Grind Cafe

The best pumpkin chai latte i've ever had! The drinks were delicious, the service was great, and everyone working there was so friendly and kind. I wish every coffee place was like this! 😊

First time ordering takeout! French toast bagel sausage egg & cheese was just as good if not better - dare I say it-than Bagel World’s! Coffee was great-but would like to see creative-made lattes on the menu to choose from! The caprese sandwich was a bit bland & not on focaccia as described (was on ciabatta)-not liked-so I shared my bagel 😆. The cheese bread with dulce de leche was a sweet little treat! Great to see the additions on the menu since visiting when they opened!

The Grind Cafe is the best, you can find: The Ladies work with big hearts and sell the best beakery you wish. The Avocadotoast ist a nice slice of , toastet whole grain bread, coverd with e perfect portion of squashed Avocdo and some self dried Cherrytomatos, simply perfect! The Cappucchino looks nice and the taste is great. Thank you, you make more, than a good job!

As a local I was excited to try On The Grind since it's mostly away from the October crowds and has such great reviews. Unfortunately I found it disappointing. Despite having a fancy la marzocco espresso machine, they made the shot for my dirty chai with what looks like a gas station coffee machine. The drink was over sweetened and almost too bitter to drink. It felt pricey for pretty basic coffee shop fare. I don't think we'll be back.

This is hands down the best café in the area! Their coffee is amazing—so flavorful and perfectly brewed. And the sandwiches and muffins? Absolutely unbeatable! Great atmosphere and friendly service too. Highly recommend!

Truly delicious coconut bagel and pineapple cream cheese. I was astonished just how good this was. Perfect. Going again. Soon. Lovely staff. Very clean.

Fast, flavorful, and inexpensive! Just a short walk from downtown Salem. Skip the long lines and go here instead...trust! Takeout available as well. The staff are super friendly. There is plenty of room and seating inside. They also have a cozy couch and fireplace. I will be a returning customer for sure.

9.xx for a medium latte with almond milk and an extra shot (shot was almost $3!) is absolutely wild. The good: there's parking anddecent amount of seating for a small coffee shop. That about it. My basic caramel latte was mediocre, unable to find wifi password (didn't bother asking), constant order yelling from the cook in frustration because people weren't claiming their orders. Needless to say but not a place I will be returning to.

In Salem for a film and found this lovely spot before heading to set. Nice cappuccino and love their orange couch!

I can't believe I have driven by On The Grind so many times and never gone in!! The exterior is very industrial looking so I could never tell if it was open. What a cute place. I got a bagel and a latte, both were excellent. The service was so nice and friendly and the other items looked super tasty. Great selection of muffins, if that's your thing. Would definitely go back.

Super friendly staff, great menu options, clean and spacious. My cold brew was delicious and my everything bagel egg and cheese sandwich was hot and melty! I'll definitely be back!

The food was great ! My girlfriend got an apple danish that she said tasted like an apple pie for me it looked and smelled amazing . I got a cinnamon bagel with the cream cheese that was amazing!! The coffee was also super good customer service was amazing they greated us when we walked in the door . As a former manger in food service / and current manger in retail I can say this store seem like it run great with amazing staff . The store it self had good seating as well pretty cool chairs in the center ! There is also parking !

Service is amazing. The women that work in there are very kind and always remember my order. I get the sausage egg and cheese on a white wrap with a hash brown thrown in there. It's 10/10 made with so much love One of my favorite breakfast places ever honestly. I've never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else.

Super nice staff! Everything was done with a smile. They have parking off the street. Huge large cold brew and worth the money. Absolutely delicious peach muffin that was served heated and with butter. The bfast sandwich was yummy, not mind blowing but good. The bagel we ordered was served with homemade scallion cream cheese that super fresh! See the pic! Fav items were the peach muffin and the scallion cream cheese. We will be back to try more items.

I stopped by here on the way to work and wasn't disappointed! The inside is adorable, offers plenty of seats and tables to sit down and enjoy. I got a hot coffee with honey and cream and a blueberry muffin. I'd definitely come back!

A great addition to the area - good BEC sandwich, good latte, free wifi, friendly service and ample seating. Could do with more cushy chairs and a bit more ambiance to really seal the deal.

I had an order DoorDasheded, a Seasame Bagel Toasted with Chive Ceam Cheese & Plain Cream Cheese (On the Side) a Large Lavender Ice Coffee with Cream and Slender. I Received a Plain Bagel NOT Toasted with Chive Cream Cheese on it (NO Plain Cream Cheese), Ice Coffe with NO Cream, Slender or Lavender?? When I called to tell them I Spoke with the Woman who Serviced My Order and was told "NOT SORRY", " OH WELL NOTHING I CAN DO"!! I will NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN, "EXTREMELY RUDE", and "" HORRIBLE QUALITY FOOD""!! BEEARE!!

We really enjoyed this place! Love the look, exposed brick and long velvet couch. We had yummy, big egg sandwiches with avocado added. Super friendly service! Great to support an excellent, women owned biz.

I just had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a sesame bagel and it was awesome. The bacon was so crispy and the bagel toasted to perfection. The strawberry smoothie was great too. These ladies have created quite a business for themselves. They are so friendly and seem to care about how you are doing. I highly recommend On The Grind!

I love On The Grind. I'm really fussy about coffee if I'm going to spend the money to have it out rather than making it myself. I avoid Starbucks and all other corporate chains as I believe in supporting local independent businesses whenever possible. On the Grind was a real find when they opened in my neighborhood. Though they're not the closest, it's my favorite. The coffee is excellent, the baked goods are always fresh. They space is large, comfortable, bright and always very clean, and the all female staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable too. I'm a fan!

This is such a cute coffee shop ! Rustic but modern decor with exposed brick, extremely friendly staff and wonderful service. My coffee tastes excellent and it's definitely a place I will come back to. Quiet enough to work remotely from here if you are looking for a change of scenery. 10/10 recommend!

I had a pleasant cafe experience. My latte was perfect -- they give you many options for milk. The egg / cheese sandwiches are quick and tasty. They are from a page out of BagelWorld's playbook, but tastier and with more bread options. The customer service during the order and the delivery to the table were great -- so nice, a place where the employees give a crap. Everyone is working and making the business run. When you read about their story on the website, you get it. The environment is clean, simple and comfortable. Some customers were working on their laptops, others conversing with family and friends. You could probably do a work meeting on video with the proper headset/earbuds -- that is always a plus. Parabéns, ladies! Obrigado (thanks)! I look forward to coming back.

Such a nice place, great atmosphere with a great breakfast sandwich. Try the chicken salad in a wrap and you will be surprised how tasty it is! #yummy Stuff is friendly and very fast in getting the orders placed. Will definitely come back to support a two-sisters dream!!!

What a nice space !!! So well done !!! I would strongly recommend some music beyond the faint, almost stressful kind. Music sets a SUCH tone when one walks in a door. There is an awkward silence with a wee bit of music, barely able to hear that is not a music for everyone. Granted, some people are trying to focus and work, and others wants to have conversation, and I fully respect that, however, if Putumayo French Cafe type music, or Lounge (Pink Martini) were played (with a little volume) it would create a great vibe. Otherwise, it's just flat as a pancake. I suspect this would increase business. The coach is fantastic. Although a bit difficult to sit in if you are not 6 foot tall. Perhaps some throw pillows for the shorter customers.

Great new cafe on Jefferson Ave. near Far From The Tree! All of their coffee is from Atomic Coffee with nitro and cold brew on tap! I had a latte and bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich that were both delicious. Staff are super friendly and the interior of the cafe is really nice with exposed brick throughout and nice lighting. Great spot to work from as well. Worth checking out!

Popped in for a couple hours to do work as I needed to stick close to Salem hospital. Got the smoked Turkey sandwich on an Everything bagel and a large iced coffee. Both were great! The staff was wonderful... very friendly. The place was super clean. They had some good tunes pumping as well. I'll definitely visit again.

This place is so good.....In absolutely every way. I'm always looking for a coffee shop I can sit and read with comfortable chairs and they're SO HARD TO FIND. This shop has great comfortable seating, AND the coffee, & food are better than anywhere else. The entire place has the best of everything and is perfectly clean. Even the bathroom! You can tell the owner and employees take great care of their business. And all the employees are so polite and professional. Love coming here.

OMG an all around game changer in Salem! Amazing food and drinks, all reasonably priced and the service, don't even get me going on the service! No matter how busy, I've never waited in line for more than two minutes! Skip the overpriced cafes downtown and support this great business!! Bravo OTG, bravo!!

A really nice, reasonably priced spot to be able to take your time and enjoy lunch and a coffee. The service is great, and my sandwich and iced coffee were also great. It's so nice to see new, locally opened cafe in Salem. I hope to visit many more times!

I can't believe that Salem has this amazing fabulous new cafe! I stopped in this morning to get lunch to go as I was headed out on the road. I didn't know what to expect when I pulled up; it is located way out of downtown in a relatively industrial area of town. The building has been recently rehabbed for this business and whoever made the design decisions was spot on. The interior is very cool, with small tables scattered throughout and a cozy couch and lounge chairs. But enough about the warm welcoming ambiance. I ordered a chicken salad wrap (as that is my yardstick when measuring the quality of a place), and I was not disappointed! Lots of choices of breads to pick from. I opted for a whole wheat wrap; it was fresh, and well made with clean crisp lettuce and tomatoes. And for those who lean that way (and don't we all from time to time) breakfast is served all day. (I'm definitely going to come back for one of those). Coffee comes from Atomic, another local source of good product. The staff is friendly and helpful. You need to go!

Went to do homework and grab breakfast and it was amazing! The chocolate chip muffin was perfect, not too sweet. The caramel iced latte was a little milky for my taste but I like a strong latte, that's just me. Prices were consistent with any other coffee shop. Workers were really nice and great hostess. They have an adorable hang out section that I would've sat at if I didn't need to do homework. If I lived here, this would be my go to spot.

Cool space, great coffee, fantastic food. The barista suggested the coconut bagel with pineapple cream cheese. It was amazing. We highly recommend.

They have great drink selections, I really liked their iced coffee. Their baked goods are made in house so it's nice & fresh. Very nice setting and clean. Super friendly staff as well, I'll definitely stop by again!

Very clean, very friendly staff. I got a caramel iced latte and the espresso was great. They have a great selection of pastries and bagels. My husband and son make it a point to visit atleast weekly.

On the Grind Cafe is my go to for lunch. The service is quick and friendly and the food is so fresh and tasty. I am so glad I found it. The staff are so friendly and you do not wait long at all.

just went and had iced coffee while my kids got muffins and everything was excellent.The lady who took our order was very friendly and helpful.the place is very nice and perfect to study or just to sit and drink a coffee.will definetely come back
