On the Record at Park MGM gets ready to reopen in July on the Las Vegas Strip | Eater Vegas

"After nearly 16 months closed during the pandemic, I note that On The Record at the Park MGM reopened on Friday, July 2; the speakeasy and club created by Houston Hospitality will operate Fridays and Saturdays, opening at 10 p.m., with Industry Nights on Wednesday evenings relaunching later in July. Opened in 2018, the venue covers roughly 11,000 square feet across three rooms and features a double-decker DJ booth, three karaoke rooms, the Vinyl Parlor where guest bartenders sling specialty drinks, outdoor space, and a main room with a deejay booth fashioned from a Rolls‑Royce; there is also a vinyl collection available for purchase at the entrance." - Susan Stapleton

Perfect little shop. I think it's very well curated, it's not one of those places that's going to sell a ton of garbage on the wall where you have to search through to find one or two good things. Pretty much everything is good. Nice selection of every genre as well as some old stuff and new stuff. I think the owner is the man. What's cool too, is it seems like the type of place that's going to give you that level of customer service every time that you're in there. I'm looking forward to going back. I bought five things today and as long as some real hardcore hip hop gets in there, I'll keep shopping!!!

Stumbled across this shop walking downtown and am so happy I did! Selection and price point is very fair, shop is also very clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful in showing me where various artists are located. We also sparked up a great convo over old school wrestling which is always fun haha If you're in the area, check this place out!

I visited this store a few days ago. I don’t get to go to N.J. Very often. The owner Tim was a very nice guy who was knowledgeable about his stock and what he had on hand. I found three albums I haven’t seen in quite a few years. I was a very happy camper as a result. He even directed me to other record stores around the area to check out. I wish Tim and his wife the best on his store in the future. Thanks for everything! I will be back.

Tim's a good man I've sold vinyl to him he's beyond fair in prices I'm a huge rock music fan and I prefer cds never really bought anything from him good stuff is hard to come by these days besides I already own the best stuff In my humble opinion but I always check in with Tim if there's something I need he's my go to store he's nice he's down to earth and has awesome customer service skills and what an awesome name for a record store on the record god bless Tim wish you success and ty for trying to keep physical media alive!!!!!

Really good spot to find some contemporary and the classics. I collect CD’s and make it a point to stop every week; sure enough there’s always something new to browse through. Owner is very knowledgeable, and helpful. A must for any music aficionado.

Stopped in with a handful of vinyl to sell and was greeted almost instantly. It's a nice little store with a nice selection of vinyl, cds, and cassettes. They also have some older vintage audio systems which are neat if you're into that. I was offered a good price for my collection and I even checked out their collection before I left. A lot of potential! I hope they do well!
