First time here from out of town and the bartenders were rude I had to approach them myself and say “hello” to get a drink. One of them was nice enough to help me the rest were very unprofessional only helping who they knew. For the first time here the music was awesome the bartenders I rate them a 1.

First time...Love this place. Pool tables take bills, Bartenders are amazing, talented, beautiful and cool, DJ was Hype and kept the place lit. Video playing with songs. ...what else can I say....and Underground with inexpensive drinks!

Great music and staff is quick with your drinks. Pub Run nights start here for First Friday Pub Run and creates a great vibe! The DJ's play great music plus the LED screens are awesome! Located under Mc D's in downtown San Antonio is a great place to have a quick drink with friends or spend the night dancing away! The staff is friendly and the beers are cold. Catch them when you're in town. 👍👍👍

The bar has a chill environment with a trendy crowd. The layout is nice and has plenty of space even during packed events like mardi gras. And the DJ spins good music. With that said, you can tell the hiring focus for the bartenders is not primarily concerned with their abilities above their shoulders but the physical characteristics below. Accordingly, expect poor service at the bar and Riverwalk extortion style prices. Additionally, troubling is that the male nonsecurity staff openly gamble on the pool tables and solicit such when you are merely looking into the potential for a friendly game. Nevertheless, the security staff was on point and took care of that plus small spills that regularly occur at bars. Overall, I do recommend this bar if you happen to be the in Riverwalk area. Enjoy

Eddy said he for coke for sale. After I gave him money and waited for 45 mins. He wanted to fight me. He usually has good coke but not this time

This club was a hidden gem. We were originally at Coyote Ugly and the atmosphere was wack. So we ended up at this place and we had a blast! Bottle service was a little pricey but the drinks themselves were priced wonderfully. Most of us went a little too hard. We're definitely going to come back next year!

So our experience tonight at 8pm. We are locals. We had just got off of work and said we were going to be away from work and the kids for the night. This was our first stop and we only ordered one drink and that would be our only drink for the night. As we got in we decided to dance because it is a play list we enjoyed. My niece had on new sandals and the side slide causing her to fall over. You would think any of the staff would had come to check on her but nooo. Bartenders were laughing and security came over and not asked once if she was OK. They came over and said we had to leave.

It was an alright place. We left before cover started and told them we'd be back. They said okay that's fine. We came back with another friend and said only she would need to pay cover because the guy stated we wouldn't need to pay when we came back. They waived her cover and sent us in. We also got hookah and told us it was $20 . Also it took about 30-35min to receive the hookah. Also there was only 1 other group that was doing hookah so we knew they didnt have a "wait". then the guy charged my friend $40..My friend firmly said you said 20. I did not hear him say 20 or 40. But another friend nearby stated he said $20. He walked away and I'm assuming a manager came by and stated it was $40. She ended up paying the full amount. To add. Her husband was waiting outside and they denied him entrance because we finished his drink outside and told him he couldn't come in. We left. Mind you we waited long for hookah. Charged $40 when they originally said $20 & then denied our friends husband entrance. We def do not recommend it here. Service is poor!! Add: I enjoyed the vibe. Only reason for not returning is the service up front !!!!

Not that bad, but not that great either - the big attraction are the scantly clad bartenders, who are very efficient and friendly. The space itself is kinda grungy and dark.

Worst Service I ever experienced. Imagine trying to enjoy the night with friends when the owner kicks out your friend's girlfriend for no reason. Did not have any drinks yet, the GM and the other employees threatened my friend thinking he's some tough guy. Would not recommend here. The atmosphere is piss poor.

Sadly, On The Rocks Pub denied entry to two gay men under the disguise of saying that they are too intoxicated. This was certainly not true. There are multiple occasions where that could be true but not tonight. This establishment is a disgrace to San Antonio.

Horrible service, couldn't even get a drink before my friends got kicked out for no apparent reason 5 minutes into stepping inside. Never coming back again

Roy, the manager provided horrible service. I went in and ordered a drink and water. I talked to not one person in the bar and Then out of no where I had 5 bouncers escorting me out. I asked for an explanation and I was threatened. Bro needs a reality check

According to the manager Roy, drinking water can cause you to become intoxicated. That's news to me. Worst customer service experience my friends and I have ever dealt with. Spend your money elsewhere in San Antonio.

The manager Roy kicked me and my friends out saying I was "too intoxicated" after 2 minutes of being in the building. This is interesting bc I decided not to drink tonight and got a water as soon as I walked in. Idk how that conclusion came about. Furthermore, if I was too intoxicated idk why I would've been allowed entry in the first place by the 3 bouncers at the door. When we asked if I was being mistaken for someone else he threatened me and my friends. He also wouldn't speak directly to me and instead decided to only speak to my boyfriend about the situation like I wasn't there. He told my boyfriend to "get his girl". Sexist and disgusting human, idk how he got a management position but he should be reevaluated for the position. Also, upon further questioning the bouncers said they didn't understand why we were kicked out and it must've been a misunderstanding. Many better places to spend your money downtown.
