Once Upon A Time At The Bagh is an absolutely stunning restaurant with beautiful architecture and a well-maintained setup. Nestled between the mountains, it’s a romantic, silent, and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxed evening or private dining and parties. The staff is extremely humble and courteous, and the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was outstanding—the Dahi Kebab literally melted in the mouth, the thin-crust pizza was amazing, and the shake was absolutely delicious. A place with great vibes, excellent hospitality, and memorable food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special dining experience. 🌿🍽️✨

Absolutely terrible experience and a horrible way to ruin New Year’s Eve. I reached the restaurant at 8:30 PM and was finally served dinner at 11:15 PM — and the food was completely cold by the time it arrived. This is the third time I booked in advance for outdoor seating. Despite calling twice to confirm, I was again denied an outdoor table with random excuses, even though I could clearly see empty tables right in front of me. The manager, Rahul, was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unaccommodating, giving tables to random others while refusing to help us. The service was painfully slow and unprofessional. Even after repeatedly asking the staff to clear our table, dirty plates, leftover food, and random items were left lying there for a long time (I’m attaching a picture). The tables were unhygienic and poorly maintained. The food was awful — poor taste, pathetic quantity, and ridiculously overpriced. The menu is priced like a four- or five-star hotel, but the quality doesn’t come close. On top of that, an expensive water bottle (around ₹200) was opened without asking for consent, for a group of 4-5 people it is not upon me to decide if i want to spend 200rs on water Overall, rude staff, cold food, terrible service, and zero professionalism. This is honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re planning to celebrate a special occasion.

No doubt the place and ambience is amazing. Proper heritage vibe. Food is good but service is slow. For outside seating, they should arrange for proper light music. It was very cold in evening when we had visited and were surprised and at the same time shocked when we came to know from a waiter that they have been told not to wear sweater or something like that to shield themselves from such cold climate. The restaurant management must look into this matter.

Very very very very very slow service. From walking in to being seated to ordering our food to food prep for more than 40 minutes I was shocked at the slowness of the place. It was not busy about three tables had under 10 guests. There is really no excuse that could help me understand how a starter and pizza took almost an hour! The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant. The servers were polite and professional. The cost is astronomical…maybe they charge by the minute? 200 rupees for a bottle of water and we were charged even though we never opened it! If you’re going be ready to wait and pay for the time!

This is place is beautifully placed in centre with mountains on both sides, a long garden walk way adds to it's beauty. Food is just fine, nothing so special about it. It's overpriced menu convinces you to cut down on your order. Ambiance is great, it has the charm of royal palaces of Rajasthan.

Once Upon a Time at The Bagh truly lives up to its name. The ambience is absolutely stunning, with royal vibes and a beautiful bagh view that instantly sets the mood for a memorable evening. The food was delicious across the board, with a special mention to the Dal Makhani—rich, flavourful, and easily one of the best I’ve had in Jaipur. What really elevated the experience was the service. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. A special shout-out to Sumit for patiently accommodating all our customizations and ensuring everything was perfect. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences in Jaipur—comfortably standing alongside iconic restaurants like Johari and Paro. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food paired with an exceptional setting
