Onda Pasta Bar

Amazing food, service and vibes here and really worth the hype and good reviews! From the starters, we ordered the focaccia, trio of butters, olives and burrata and they were all so lovely. The focaccia was sooo soft. I ordered the special pasta filled with beef and it was delicious. My friends ordered the carbonara and vodka pasta and loved their dishes too. The negroni here is very tasty. To finish we ordered the tiramisu and the doughnuts which were the perfect way to end - the dessert portions are generous so consider sharing! Service was very attentive and timely. Definitely will be back.

Went here for tea last night and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious; we ordered some nibbles to start (highly recommended the pumpkin fritte), two pizzettas, a plate of pasta (the vodka pasta, really good) and a dessert between two of us which was more than enough food. Service was also very friendly and quick

This is my second time visiting Onda and I loved it each time. Both times had two different menus which was nice, but they still kept my favourite pumpkin honey fritters (I was really looking forward to having them again). We tried three different pastas (they recommended ordering 3-4 pastas between two people) and all of them were delicious, especially their beef oxtail ravioli with burrata and sun-dried tomatoes🥩 🍅🍝 Also, couldn’t leave without having their tiramisu - it’s my favourite, and I’ve tried so many!

Unfortunately, the food did not quite live up to the hype for us. On the positive side, the fresh pasta was excellent and the non alcoholic basil mojito was actually very good. However, we were not fans of the sauces or the limited vegetarian options. I understand the menu is seasonal and intentionally small, but it would be nice to have at least one tomato based pasta for vegetarians. The pizzetta was also a letdown, as it arrived overcooked and overly charred to the point of being almost inedible. We appreciate some char or leoparding, but the base seemed burnt, and when we shared this feedback, it appeared this was intentional, just not to our taste. They were at least kind enough not to charge us for the pizzetta in the end, which we appreciated. Overall, we probably would not return, although we can see why others enjoy it. For us, the menu did not feel varied or accommodating enough for different dietary needs.

The food was absolutely gorgeous and the waitress was really helpful with recommendations. We even got a free shot because it was a birthday dinner. The only downside was that we felt slightly rushed. The staff brought the bill over unprompted and it felt a bit like they wanted the table back even though we were only there for an hour and fifteen.

Potentially the best meal we’ve had out ever. Genuinely. The waiter was super helpful - we had a vegetarian eating and she explained all the available dishes and ways to make other dishes vegetarian. The food was perfect - tasty, filling, appetising. The tiramisu wow … you have to get it if you come here, non negotiable.

Had a really good time here on the weekend. Followed the waiter’s recommendation of getting two pasta dishes and one pizza for two people, which was more than enough for two. Everything we tried was excellent, including their famous tiramisu.

We went to onda for dinner and ordered : Mafaldine with beef shin ragu Mushroom with cavolo Nero pesto & Mozzarella Tiramisu Food tastes delicious but portion is not very big. The staff are very nice and will give out recommendations.
