Have you ever had a foodgasm? No seriously- Food so good you wanted to cry. That’s how I would describe their bakery items. We got the mocha donut, match donut, Danish pastry, and the biscoff latte. We basically wanted to order more so that we could find something that was “bad”….. mission failed successfully. The sitting area is so peaceful and clean, the workers were so kind. If you’re someone who doesn’t have a sweet tooth, I would still 100% recommend stopping by- none of their pastries were overly sweet everything was just perfect! If you’re visiting the area- YOU must try this place!

These pastries are so special and delicious! I’ve had quite a few pastries from here and everything has been exceptional. For these being handcrafted and fresh daily I think the price is appropriate. They also make the perfect birthday dessert gift. There is definitely something here for everything.

We visited Ondo Bakery with a group of 5 and really enjoyed our time. The bakery goods and desserts were fresh and delicious, and the drinks were great as well. The staff was pleasant and welcoming, and the ambiance was relaxing, making it a nice place to sit and enjoy everything

I have visited Ondo's several times and always enjoyed the variety of food. Because I am a creature of habit, I selected the same item- the sausage, tomato sauce, cheese/ricotta, corn baked on a half roll. I really enjoy this combination of flavors. Today, I sat down prepared to enjoy my favorite meal. It seemed to me that something was a little off with the flavor and texture of my first bite. I was shocked to discover a sliced HOTDOG hiding under the sauce and cheese! Unfortunately, I orderd two of these concoctions. I am unsure if I will visit this bakery again.

This bakery is awesome. It’s very cute. It is self-serve for the most part. They have a lot of options for almost everybody. They also offer drinks like coffee, tea, and lemonade. The staff is always friendly, cute and fast paced. This place is always busy so I recommend getting there early in the day to ensure that the pastry options you’re looking for are still in stock. They offer great traveling cases for people like myself who buy a lot of pastries at once. I’m super obsessed with their stuffed and dipped croissant options. The chocolate is my number one favorite followed by the fruit flavored ones. The filling inside the croissant is mixed with a whip cream so it’s not too sweet but light and flavored. Totally recommend this bakery!

My partner and I try to make a stop here whenever we visit Ann Arbor! The baked goods are not too sweet and pair well with their drinks. I am fond of their strawberry matcha made with almond milk!

Stopped by an hour before closing, so couldn’t try everything — but what we did try? So worth it! 🍰 The mango pastry was an absolute winner — melt-in-your-mouth delicious, couldn’t stop eating! Tried the tiramisu latte and matcha cloud cream latte too — both were good, though not as magical as the pastry. The cake was lovely, almond croissant was just okay. Definitely going back for a full tasting session!

I was out of town and stumbled upon this coffee shop. Google said it opened at 7, so I got there a little early and waited, but they didn’t open until around 7:10. When the doors finally opened, nothing was ready yet — the employees were still cleaning and setting up the store. None of the bakery items were out except for leftovers from the previous day. I bought one of the pastries anyway and paid full price, even though it was old. Unfortunately, it tasted and smelled weird — the bread was hard and dry, probably from being exposed to air overnight. I couldn’t even finish it. On the bright side, the strawberry matcha latte was really good! I actually liked that a lot.

It's been over a year since Ondo has opened and I love that they keep innovating! The latest goodies I've been enjoying here are the: *injeolmi croissant - it's so dang good. First, their lamination is ON POINT. Then add the Korean flavors and flair to it? Chef's kiss. So Injeolmi is basically like a mochi rice cake dessert with roasted soy bean powder on it. So they did their take on it by dusting the exterior with the roasted soy bean powder and putting the rice cake part INSIDE. You basically have to eat this day-of though - rice flour goodies are never that great re-heated. *trompe de l'oeil desserts - they have various ones that look like fruit BUT my favorite cheesecake that looks like a piece of cheese on a cheese board ha. Love the whimsy. *the sleeping bear cakes! I think this is more of a Valentine's Day special - I'm not sure if it's year-around but it's so cute and the chocolate mousse is so luscious with the perfect ratio of raspberry. *Dubai chocolate mochi - this is probably my favorite take on this viral trend. It's a really fascinating texture with the soft rice cake/mochi meeting the crunchy kataifi. I'm into though!

We came over the weekend and my goodness was it busy! There weren't any trays available at the front, so I couldn't get any pastries, other than one that I placed on a parchment paper that I was holding. We decided to order on the kiosk because the line was pretty long. They offer quite a bit of seating on the other side of the pastries and can get loud, if it's packed. So if you're wanting to study, make sure to take a pair of earplugs. We got an iced black sesame latte and a peanut butter Macchiato. Both drinks were okay. The flavors of both drinks weren't as strong but okay. I grabbed a salt bread and a Dubai mochi. Salt bread was okay. The mochi was delicious. If you are a fan of Dubai chocolate, you'll love this! We'll definitely be back to try more pastries and drinks!

got a strawberry New York roll to go - wow, absolutely delicious! Loved that strawberry flavor, and the roll was pretty filled. Very aesthetic as well! Busy spot but lots of places to sit. Clearly very popular - excited to return and try some other items.

Ondo is in a prime location, with a lot of foot traffic on Main Street in the heart of University of Michigan's main campus. When I visited on a Sunday morning there was a long line out the door. There are plenty of savory and sweet baked goods to choose from. Some are both savory and sweet like the croissant rolls with a sweet filling and topping. The pastry items in the case are beautifully made. Ondo is fairly priced for the size of its baked goods which are on the larger side compared to other bakeries in Ann Arbor. I was accidentally overcharged for several items. I had a digital receipt to provide and the cafe was receptive and gave me a refund.

Almost the same as a Tours le jours but worse. Problem about European/Asian bakery is that they are not good enough to represent either side. Crossiants are burnt as u can see in my picture. Egg tarts are nothing special,tart crust is kinda soggy. Bread are ok, same type of bread everywhere. It seems to be popular and the cafe does look nice. I do think it is overrated.

First off, the Biscoff iced coffee is absolutely amazing - definitely a must-try. I stopped by around 5 pm on a Sunday, and most of the baked goods and pastries were already sold out, so I'd recommend visiting earlier in the day if you want the full selection. I also tried the strawberry matcha, which I usually order at every new coffee shop I go to, but unfortunately it wasn't great here. Overall, the vibe and experience were good, but I did have one awkward moment - when I asked for a sip lid instead of a straw lid, one of the baristas was unexpectedly rude about it, and said "no!" to my request....which caught me off guard lol

I've been here enough that I feel like I'm finally able to write an honest review on the variety of food and drinks! This is probably my favorite coffee shop in Ann Arbor and am constantly recommending it to my friends, so I wanted to share my review of the scene, food, and drinks! This is a great place to go if you are meeting someone, but I probably would not study here during the day. Tables can be hard to get, especially around 1-5p during the week or anytime on the weekend. It's also very packed! If noise is an issue to you, get your drink and go! As a Korean inspired bakery, it has a huge amount of interesting foods and flavors. I have tried their Garlic Bread and New York rolls. Think of the roll like a crispy, sweet, crescent roll filled with cream. It's great, but very filling, I often split one with a friend. As for drinks, my go-to is the Iced Sea Salt Caramel Cream Latte, however the Biscoff Latte is a close second. For people wondering about the sweetness level, everything is very sweet and strong. I've also had the Passionfruit Refresher. Honestly, it wasn't my favorite, but I'm glad I tried it. I wasn't impressed with the flavor, it seemed watered down and kind of separated. I struggled with whether to give 4 or 5 stars, but decided on 4 because of the refresher and a warning for those who don't like overly sweet things. I would highly recommend getting coffee if you are going to go. I can't speak to the matcha because I haven't tried it but it seems extremely popular and there's always matcha orders being made! I will have to try and update this review once I have...just hard for me to stray away from my regular order!

It's a beautiful cafe and their pastries are top notch. I wish I could try every single thing here.

I've been coming to this spot for years. Ondo has the best coconut cream latte! Be sure to get it hot though! They use coconut oil. :) Located on State Street between Liberty & Williams, it's very accessible by foot. You grab your tray, liner, and tongs when you walk in & have a beautiful variety of baked goods to choose from before you get to the coffee ordering counter. They cash you out and wait at the end of the counter for your specialty drinks to get whipped up quickly! The space is clean & cozy, great for socializing or studying! There are tables to sit outside and enjoy the weather & the delicious eats. Be sure to swing through Ondo when on U of M Campus!

Came here with some friends and had a good time. Service was quick even though there was a long line. The inside is cute but the tables were dirty from past customers, we had to wipe it off ourselves when we sat down. The strawberry New York roll was delicious! Never had anything like it. Has a strawberry frosting filling. My friend thought her strawberry matcha tasted like the green part of the strawberry :( and my friend got the cloud cream matcha and said it was super sweet. Overall: decent food and drinks, cute cafe, great location, but not the best cafe I've ever been to.

Shoutout to my foodie friend and fellow Elite Tiffany S. for recommending Ondo Bakery & Cafe! I was so excited upon walking in because it was just like the cafes we visited in Seoul! Very bright and airy, and way more spacious than I was expecting, with lots of seating for eating, studying, and hanging out with friends. The pastries are self-serve, so after we took a look around, we grabbed a tray and some tongs and tried to restrain ourselves from picking every item we saw. They had a huge selection of sweet and savory pastries, so it was really tough to narrow down our selection. We picked a strawberry New York roll, an Earl Grey doughnut, and a matcha scone. Each item is labeled by name only, so it is a fun adventure if there's something unfamiliar. Once you're ready, take your tray to the counter and order any drinks. I got the black sesame latte, iced at the employee's recommendation. Our drinks came out quickly and they arrange them alphabetically by name like they do at Starbucks (bonus points for taking my name). The black sesame latte was SO good - super creamy, nutty, and just the right level of sweet. I want to drink this every day. The pastries were all delicious but my favorite was definitely the New York roll - it's basically a circular, filled croissant with some icing. It was crispy and flaky, sweet but not too sweet, and I want to try every flavor! (They had at least 8 different flavors.) Apparently this is a viral thing that started in NYC and I hope to see them make their way to GR! It wasn't too crowded in the pastry area when we were there, but it was also during U of M's spring break. I could see it getting packed! I asked if this is a chain, and they said it's not - it is a local Korean owned business and they make all their pastries in house. Amazing! I loved this taste of Seoul right in Michigan and can't wait to stop in again next time I'm in town.

Loved Ondo Bakery! The sesame black latte was rich and nutty, the coconut creme latte was very coconut forward and overpowered the creme. Great size value given the price of the drinks. The matcha cream filled donut was perfect, it was light, not too sweet, and full of deep matcha flavor. Super clean space with great variety. Definitely worth a stop. The service was also very quick and they got our lattes out within 10 minutes. I would recommend

First of all, I hate the parking situation here, drive around for a good 10 minutes to even find a spot. Place wasn't too busy when I came here, tried a matcha latte and a matcha pastry. The latte was good, next time I worn eh adding the strawberry foam, it kind of made the latte taste a bit like a latte mixed with a smoothie. I wasn't too big of a fan of the foam part. The matcha itself was amazing tasting! The matcha pastry was soooo good, can't remember the name of it but it was a round "croissant" filled with a matcha cream, wow! So so good, would definitely recommend those. The inside was pretty quiet, cute decorated and plenty of tables.

I saw this place on TikTok and I finally got to check them out! It's very similar to Tous Les Jour with almost the same layout. Even some of the pastries are the same, but they do have a larger selection of sweets. Especially the formerly viral cream filled croissant rolls. They were good, but a little way too sweet, but maybe it's also because my preference has changed to more savory foods. Overall, it's a nice cafe to have on a college campus.

Delicious bakery treats and great coffee options. Super modern space! It was an easy seamless experience to grab what you want and pay at the counter. They should put a sign though where you pick up tongs that you put used tongs at the register. I noticed a few people putting the tongs back after using them! I got a strawberry New York roll and a matcha latte. My husband got the Oreo roll. And we both god some egg salad buns. So so so good!

So obsessed with Ondo! It's a very beautiful Korean inspired bakery and cafe with an almost overwhelming amount of pastries and treats to choose from. I've loved everything I've gotten from the bakery and I also really like their drinks. My latest obsession has been their hojicha! It's soo good and a nice alternative to matcha with a more nutty flavor. I love that they're so spacious so even when it's busy I can always grab a seat/table. Due to its location this place sometimes gets pretty busy but staff are always friendly and service is pretty quick. Definitely love the vibe here and the outside seating is super cute on a nice quiet day (though during the busy school semester it can be a bit chaotic outside).

Ondo I love you! This beaut is a newly added Asian bakery on state Street. Grab a tray at the front with paper and tongs. Then serve yourself and check out at the register. I was so excited to try the NY roll. We got a lemon and cookies and cream. They are filled with a yummy cream. My favorite was the tiramisu croissant. Lovely! Not a lot of coffee flavor, but still delicious. I bet it would go great with one of their lattes. The service was great, and the interior is clean and spacious. I will definitely be a regular here so I can try all the things.

They have this one drink that's a coconut latte it is so good! The service is pretty good too!

This place is amazing! I was visiting Ann Arbor for work and returned multiple times. The store stays busy, but there is plenty of seating and the staff is efficient. The earl grey donut is STUFFED full of earl grey cream. It was heavenly. The restrooms are clean. You are expected to bus your own table. Wheelchair accessibility could improve, but it isn't bad.

Found a piece of string in my drink :( otherwise, it is an aesthetic Korean and French -inspired coffee/bakery joint. I stopped by in here one day when I noticed they were having a Dairy Boy pop-up, complete with a DIY bouquet-making experience, Photo Booth area, and clothing/accessories to shop from while you enjoy your drink and pastry. I ordered their tiramisu latte which I asked for with half syrup as I noticed from other reviews that their drinks may be on the sweeter side. It was tasty, but I did find a random piece of rope/floss in my drink which was gross :( Not all the pastries, while cute, looked very fresh, so I didn't try any of the food here. If I do though, I would be open to one of the refrigerated ones. There's lots of seating which is great for studying or hanging out with friends/family. Service was quick - I got my drink in about 5 minutes.

We went on a weekday so it wasn't super crowded. The array of desserts was impressive. I had the sesame latte and my husband had the tiramisu latte. Both were delicious and not super sweet which we appreciated. Would definitely return.

Ondo is such a treat! The pastries were beautiful and delicious, especially the filled donut and the custard croissant. Everything tasted fresh and not overly sweet. The shop has a clean, modern vibe and a great selection. Can't wait to come back!

I did not taste the food. Not sure how the service was because I did not talk to anyone. I Walked in but did not make a purchase. I smelled strong cleaning solution that I could. It tolerate. Perhaps I will go back and try again one day.

What better time to stop into a delicious cafe and bakery than on your birthday?? It means you can go wild ordering delicious pastries and beverages and not feel bad about it, right? Came in here for the first time, yes, on my birthday. It was a bit busy in there and I was a bit tired after a day running around so we decided to get our treats to go. I immediately spotted the New York rolls (rolled croissants with filling) which appear to be their signature item. I grabbed one of those, the mango filled option, right away. I also needed a slice of birthday cake, right? So I got a slice of the the raspberry chocolate variety. My husband ordered the matcha New York roll and the blueberry taro cake. To wash it down with I ordered the sea salt cream caramel latte which was SO good! They use real caramel sauce that they make in house (I think, it definitely did NOT taste commercial) and it was so good that after I finished the drink I went and got a spoon and scraped all the little bits at the bottom out to eat it. No caramel left behind! At home we started with the croissant roll. It was VERY good. I have to admit I didn't get a lot of mango flavor out of it but I really liked the custard filling either way so I found it very enjoyable. It's also BEAUTIFUL presentation (just make sure you snap a photo there because it's not very good at staying upright during travel). Later, after dinner, I enjoyed my slice of cake and it was also excellent. A dense, deep chocolate cake layered with a raspberry frosting that I could tell had fresh raspberries in it, not flavoring. Overall, a very solid start to what I'm sure will be an ongoing relationship with Ondo! I still have to come back for the savories, after all!

The tiramisu latte is my favorite drink to order here! The mascarpone cream in the croissant was so rich and the space is pretty clean! It can get crowded at times but generally I never found difficulty with seating.

Unique, cute, & aesthetic Korean bakery. I was overwhelmed by the assortment of croissants, breads, buns, cakes, and tarts. Ended up with only 1 savory croissant which I asked to be heated up because it looks like it's been set out for some time. It turned out tasting pretty good. Slight kick from I'm guessing spicy mayo. I wish the display info contained a description of what everything is. I saw a sign for Croongy and nothing to go off of. Google didn't give me answers either. The tarts looked amazing, the cakes looked beautiful, & their squarish rolled croissants looked out of this world (not pictured).

This is my favorite bakery on campus! There are so many amazing treats to try on any given day, just make sure you get there relatively early now that people know about all the deliciousness or else you will walk in to quite a few empty displays! I highly recommend the taro blueberry cake, caramel macchiato cake, and the earl grey cream puffs! But honestly, everything is soooo good! Don't forget the drinks too! I love their honey bush banana nut tea (hot or cold) year-round! Also, it's very cute inside (although usually crowded) so I'd recommend it more for a casual date rather than a study spot!

Super cute cafe on campus. Self service to pick out pastries and then counter service for coffee/drinks. Theres a great variety of pastries that are both sweet and savory. Would caution if you come right when they open not all pastries will be out. The bacon egg croissant was spicy and flavorful.

The busiest bakery I have ever seen and now I know why! The desserts are phenomenal they have both sweet and savory options. The options are very esthetic as well. Lattes are delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of college students go here to study and catch up with friends so it is a bit loud. Cannot wait to go back and try other things on the menu.

Came into Ondo on a Saturday morning around 8 am and there was already a large variety of pastries to choose from! There were salty and savory and sweet. They had some cake slices out as well! Just a heads up for anyone interested in the New York Rolls (the big round croissant-like pastries) they said that they do usually have them every day, but they're not typically out until 9-9:30. Totally understandable and fine! Just thought it was worth mentioning since I know they're a big hit. We tried a sweet garlic baguette which was a 10/10- absolutely incredible. It was much lighter than I was expecting and I mean that as a massive positive note. Such depth of flavor! We also tried the Nutella Twist pastry. It was amazing- I'd rate 8.5/10. It was chewy and delicious and lots of chocolate throughout! It had a bit too much cocoa powder on top on some areas, which I love cocoa powder but it seemed just a tiny bit overboard in some areas of the pastry. We also tried the sun-dried tomato and cheese ciabatta which was another 10/10. I wouldn't change a thing! Perfectly seasoned and perfect combo of flavors with the best texture of ciabatta. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of customer service. The staff weren't outwardly rude, however they weren't outwardly nice either. We weren't greeted at all and they really didn't say much even when we were checking out. They did answer a question that I asked and certainly weren't rude at all, it just felt a bit awkward the whole time and not the most warm and welcoming of places that I've been to. It's beautiful inside and they have it set up nicely and is also very clean! All that being said, I will certainly be back.

- Food: Tiramisu latte was good. Lot of dessert and savory options to choose from - Location: Street parking so can get busy - Ambiance and service are both nice. Anticipate a 5 min wait time for coffee as the place is quite popular but did not mind that.

I tried ondo based off of friends really liking it, however, I must disagree. The aesthetic of the coffee shop is really cute and I enjoyed working here...if you can find a table. Also the people here tend to take up an entire 4 person table for themselves. I asked multiple people if I could sit on the other end and received a no every time. The line to order is also always long and they move very slow. I got a chocolate almond croissant which was actually pretty good, all the pastries look good, but they don't warm them up for you. I also got a sea salt caramel latte which I really did not enjoy. It is so sweet, which could be my fault in ordering but I also tried a sip of other lattes and they were all extremely sweet. There is much better coffee in the area, definitely skip this.

Had the most beautiful experience here this morning. I had the monkey bread and the salted caramel latte. The monkey bread was to die for, and all of the other pastries looked amazing. The latte had a foam on top that was similar to mascarpone, it was decadent and lined with a caramel sauce that tasted fresh and home made. Amazing. Service was nice and fast. Will be coming back soon!

Every time I come to ONDO bakery I'm lost at what I should pick. The options are endless and everything looks like an amazing option. The NewYork croissants are my new favorite thing and trying a different flavor every time I'm in the bakery. The staff behind the register are always cheerful and welcoming the baristas always made my drinks spot on. I personally like to sit outside when the weather is nice but inside seating is also very nice and it's not too load. Good for student to do their work and study or meet friends and for families to get a quick treat.

The basque cheesecake was pretty good and sour, my first time trying them. The cheese mousse had like 3 layers it kinda tasted like mango maybe? The cruffin was the star though it was delicious. There was not much else in stock so this is all we got.

Great customer service, great coffee and treats! Will be back! Came to UM for tourney and Ondo was recommended by Graduate hotel staff.

I went here two days in a row, it was THAT good. I've tried the chocolate and strawberry New York roll, the egg salad roll, an egg tart, and a tiramisu croissant with a friend. The chocolate New York Roll was definitely the prize winner but everything was good. The tiramisu croissant needed more coffee flavor in my opinion snd I didn't love the egg tart (but I believe it was made well; it was my first time trying it, I just don't think it's my thing). The baristas and workers were so kind and I really enjoyed talking with them a little. The ambiance was weirdly perfect. For example, there were plenty of people there talking and enjoying themselves but it was still quiet snd muffled enough to study if you needed too. I love the layout of the building and I definitely will be back plenty this summer.

Beautiful Asian breads and cakes and Western pastries. Also interesting drink menu. Spacious interior that is conducive to settling down and studying or catching up with friends. Such a great addition to central campus! Friendly service too.

First and foremost, this is an AMAZING bakery. I'd overlook any reviews talking about the drinks (yes... they are definitely on the sweeter side) because the pasties are really what make this place shine. We had the bacon egg and cheese croissant, which is not the prettiest to look at if you're expecting a BEC, but blew us away with how fresh and light the flavor was. Be warned - the egg is a jammy egg so you might make a mess. Next up was the mango box pastry, which had a hint of coconut and was not too sweet but the perfect blend of flaky and fruity. A bit difficult to maneuver, but beautiful to look at - my daughter snapped an ig story immediately. The service is good enough, just know that you will need to keep an eye on the drink pick up as they do not announce your name. Overall, this is a 5/5 in our book and will be a staple in future visits to Ann Arbor!

Basically: Yummy in my Tummy Great place. Delicious pastries, good options. A little bit on the more pricey side but not expensive. Drinks are delicious, only thing I would change is the ice level of the drinks because the ice melts immediately. This negative is still not big enough for me to think it's anything under a 5/5. It is a nice and spacious place, has seating and WiFi. The service is good, the workers are nice, no one has been rude to me in the multiple times I've been to this location this past year. Great location!!!!!

Fuck this place. I come around the last 3 days around 7:45am after work and they never have the chocolate croissant or garlic salt pastry available. And the girl says to call ahead and ask but there is no phone number and the staff, escpecially the stupid girl at the register always say the same exact robotic cop out answer saying "by 10am all the pastries will be done", no shit. Thanks for nothing. Not to mention the chocolate croissants seems to be shrinking in size, idk why they are rationing the baking materials as if we aren't paying enough for them anyway at their premium pricing. And also know even if there is a short line, like one or two people with small orders, the staff as a whole will literally take their time and make you stand forever while doing their best to avoid any eye contact. So if your in any sort of rush, even a mild one, check from the window to make sure there isnt a short line of one or two people before risking your time. The staff seem very comfortable operating like dickheads cuz quality seems to be somewhat decent despite reduced/shrunk size of some of their items.

Delicious pastries, bright and inviting space - this was a delightful way to begin our day

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. It was incredibly busy. The way the shop is set up makes it difficult to browse around people who are in line, or to know if someone is in line or just trying to get to a product in the cases. If you want to just order coffee, do you have to stand in the long line of pastry buyers? It's hard to know. The coffee drinks themselves are good if you like them sweet. All the pastries and cakes look really good and aesthetically beautiful. There were only three people working, and they didn't really seem to know what they were doing. Only one seemed to have a handle on how to run things. It felt very hectic and rushed in there, not a relaxing space at all unfortunately. The bathrooms were a mess with no toilet paper or paper towels. I think it comes down to being understaffed, which I know is an issue everywhere. I would try it again, but maybe at a less busy time.

Cons: I had pretty high expectations for this place. But it was mediocre at best. The strawberry matcha was okay but I'm glad I got the small. It mostly just tasted like it had strawberry milk not like a good quality syrup made from fresh strawberries (if you love strawberry matcha you know what I mean). My boyfriend ordered the black sesame drink and it was really bad. He's had it many times before at different coffee shops and this one was pretty intolerable. Lastly I was trying to grab my almond croissant and one of the workers reached over me in the same space and I moved aside to let her do whatever she was trying to do and she scoffed at me and stared at me like I was doing something wrong and then she stared at me "waiting for me to grab my croissant"... so that was kinda weird and rude. Pros: Honestly the pastries were pretty good! We had the almond croissant and the Oreo NY style croissant thingy and they're good ! So that was a plus -it's very well decorated and plenty of space. All in all if you're coming for the aesthetic and the pastries you'll love it but in my opinion the coffee and matcha are mediocre. (And I'm a cali girl with traveling experience to the east coast so I feel pretty confident in identifying good coffee)

Visiting from cali , had low expectations towards matcha in Michigan but since this place had such good reviews I decided to give it a try. Had the strawberry matcha latte, it was terrible... resembled strawberry water, absolutely a joke compared to what I'm used to Food was okay not bad.

This is such a cute bakery! They have loads of great pastries from classic to trendy ones. It can get busy here as it is right on campus, but I love it!

Hubby and I went on a bakery crawl. This was our second stop. Of the three bakeries we stopped at, this was our favorite, but that's not saying much. First off, the espresso drinks are delicious. But stay away from anything matcha. They use a very cheap quality of matcha and it's truly awful. My matcha latte was a huge disappointment and the matcha New York roll was inedible. They are very generous with their fillings, so we couldn't really get a taste of the roll without the awful matcha flavor. Seriously folks, if you're going to serve matcha, use the good stuff, please! We had a raspberry mouse with was really delightful and the little "bear head" filled with chocolate cream (apologies, I can't remember the name). It was pretty good, but the cream was a bit much. Like I said, they're very generous with the fillings. Everything is beautiful and they do a really good job, but the cheap matcha really brought the whole experience down a notch.

Went here as a little trip with my sister while I was in Downtown Ann Arbor. The ambiance is relaxing and beautiful! Very nice place with nice layout, and many places to sit. The pastries were also beautifully presented and delicious! Cute aesthetic bakery spot if you're looking for one, I would recommend!
