One Broad Street

Stayed for two nights. Handy location near the pier, room fairly small but adequate. Cleanliness could definitely be improved. Particular areas were the bathroom - shower surround and tiles quite dirty and lots of dust dirt around the radiator. Rather odd hole in the ceiling above the bed which seemed rather odd. Asked for feedback through an email titled 'We’d Love Your Feedback on Your Stay with Us!' I responded with concerns and pictures (three weeks ago) and received no reply, so perhaps were not keen on feedback. Hence this public review. You had the opportunity to feedback and you chose not to.

My boyfriend had after this night over 20 bed bugs bites and needed to go to hospital because it caused an allergic reaction. Also, the shower was broken and the room was really hot. I believe the dust and the hot climate made it perfect for bed bugs to grow!

The ambience of the place was quite nice, clean, calm, and inviting. It was well-stocked with useful appliances like a microwave, coffee machine, fan, and fridge, which added to the convenience of our stay. However, we were really disappointed with the bathroom. The shower was completely clogged, and water wouldn’t drain properly. It was quite disgusting to see it fill up with water and hair, clearly not cleaned before our arrival. On top of that, no blankets were provided, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. With better cleanliness and attention to basic needs like bedding, this place could offer a much better experience.

My partner and I booked a weekend stay here to celebrate our anniversary and get away from the kids. We weren’t disappointed with the hotel’s funky interiors that were stunning. We found our room clean and warm (and left well stocked by housekeeping!). The best bits of Brighton are only a few mins stroll away, with the sea just down the road. Plenty of good eateries and bars just on the doorstop made our stay fun and the rooms mini kitchen super handy when bringing back food to prepare ourselves. Highly recommended.

I loved the very central but quiet location which felt quite the win in Brighton! It was easy self service access which went without a hitch. Everything felt fresh and clean including what looked like lovely brand new carpets. Gorgeous room. It is the perfect location for a relaxing trip to Brighton. I can’t wait to stay here again!

This was the first time we have booked a hotel with digital locks, however everything went smoothly and our codes were sent to us followed by a text to make sure we were ok. The room was beautifully designed, I got a few ideas for our own house! We had a bay window room at the front of the building. It was a lovely room and the staff were quick to come back when we wanted to know how to operate the shower. Beds were really comfy and everything was clean. The mini dining area was really useful as we decided to have lunch here a few times before we started visiting things during the day. We were really happy to see the coffee machine was a Nespresso machine and they left us a selection of pods, all of which we used up.

I loved the easy self check in and the information sent from hosts prior to my arrival. Great central location close toe beach cafes and shops. I found the bed very comfortable (I am usually a light sleeper!) The carpets were brand new so felt very fresh & cosy. I would definitely recommend and I look forward to coming back soon.

We booked One Broad Street hotel for our a week in Brighton and had a great stay here. It really was location location. We were lucky enough to have sun for our stay so every day we crossed the road and straight onto the beach. Everything was very clean and the housekeeping staff we kind enough to top up our coffee pods. Lovely industrial style bedroom design and the mini kitchen was great when we decided to bring food back one night. Overall would come back again. All the door codes and guest numbers were texted to us before we arrived and everything went smoothly. We were lucky with the weather so had a great time here.
