After looking at the good reviews, me and my husband were very excited to visit this Korean restaurant as a Korean myself that just recently moved to Florida. My yukgaejang (육계장) was good, however, the problem was the water and the Kimchijjigae (김치찌개). The water tasted like fish and when a different table complained the servers answer was "We serve tap water, I don't drink tap water so I don't know how it tastes." Later, our food came out and after taking one sip of the stew, we knew my husband's kimchi stew tasted awfully sour not like a regular fermented kimchi taste, when I asked if we could make a switch in menu choice due to the unsettling taste, the server asked me if I spoke Korean and called over the owner. In Korean, I kindly explained that the stew tasted off, she responded with "Well, you already put your spoon in it and you want it changed? The stew is supposed to taste sour. We had the stew earlier and it tasted fine, plus no one has ever complained about the stews taste." Once I heard her response I immediately offered to pay because I wanted to leave but she then insisted on switching my husbands stew to a different menu item. I kept pushing to pay and explained to her that as a previous business owner myself I understand her position but that you also have to be accommodating to customers, she then replied "As a business owner you should understand where I'm coming from, just leave." An absolutely crazy experience.... The vibes were great, but the service and food were NOT up to par. Please save your money and go to the other Korean restaurant that's around the block.
